I actually want to give this place 3.5 stars. My husband ordered dinner for us via third party app. We got our order and there were no utensils and no soy sauce. My husband ordered the Korean ribs and steak platter. Everything looks delicious. The meat is very tender. The Brussels sprouts included were good. He said the pickled cucumbers were a little spicy. I was excited as I ordered the "pick your own handroll." I ordered the yellowtail, ahi tuna, and the spicy salmon. I did not want spicy salmon and there were no option to leave a note, so my husband called after he placed the order and they were able to accommodate us. The hand rolls looked delicious. I was excited to eat it. But no soy sauce was provided to eat it with. Needs improvement on providing utensils for to go orders and maybe even soy sauce for sushi / hand roll orders! read more

The quality is so consistent with this location, and the takeout is fantastic. I've eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and gotten delivery at least a half dozen times and it's been excellent every time. I love how you can switch things up easily while ordering from their online portal. The options are plentiful. Tonight I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, but changed the protein to salmon and the sticky rice to brown rice with quinoa. It was delicious! All the veggies were fresh and the teriyaki sauce is so tangy and sweet, and just the right amount. This place has it dialed in. Orders arrive via DoorDash making them easy to track and easing communication with drivers. In the restaurant I love the outdoor seating area. It's a seafood restaurant but it also has meat, plant-based tofu bowls, which was much appreciated with the variety of dietary preferences my family has. I enjoyed the calamari, my sushi roll and poke taco were fresh and tasty. All of the food was well-portioned and had overall good reviews. My girlfriend got the Barramundi Sea Bass which was good. It was hot, everything was seasoned well, and the fries were an actually amazing. My only complaint, is the price. The sushi x 2 w/ edamame was $36.85. And the Barramundi Sea Bass was $29.95. It's just a little pricy but that's just my opinion. Holy frickin moly! Food was so good that I had to post 4 different pictures of the same meal!! First of all, my coworkers and I went around 11:30/11:45am on a Friday for lunch. It wasn't busy, but even if it was, the place has a lot of seating for small or large parties. I got the seabass, cod, and steak tacos - I did NOT expect it to be such a huge portion. It comes with a side of beans AND either a salad or fries (of your choice). I'm a huge steak person and it was great, but the fish tacos were sooooo much better, and that's saying something cause I'm not the biggest fish fan! They all had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. The texture was just perfect for me!! I'm not going to lie, before coming here, I really was craving fries. Great spot in Walnut Creek, ambulance was nice, and they even had a live band performing in the bar/patio. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. We were greeted and taken to our table right away. On the night we went it was a bit slow in the dining room, but still good service and food. For our appetizer we had the Guaca-Poke (ahi poke, guacamole, tortilla chips), which was delicious. Street parking options and parking structures in the area. Edamame was kinda mushy, and the ribs were tender but salty. I got the 3 taco plate, family got various seafood entrees. Entrees were tasty, but service was sub par. We had to ask for refills several times and had a pile of plates, which we stacked, just left on our table. Maybe they were short staffed? Another great visit to Pacific Catch! Made a reservation and arrived early. It wasn't too busy but the guy at the front desk who I wish I remembered his name greeted us right away. He was kind enough to give us the happy hour menu since I read happy hour is only at the bar and patio seating. Super nice worker going above and beyond. Quick to bring us our drinks and mentioned all the specials. We ordered so many appetizers and the pitcher Mai Thai which I must say was pretty strong but delicious. This place tends to go above and beyond with their waiters and quality of food. The fish I've had both times have been good quality fish. I highly recommend this spot as everyone loved it. My mom was craving their lobster rolls so she brought us here to try their food. Our server was very kind and service was quick. They accidentally served us fish and chips so they gave it to us for free (what a treat!). The fish and chips were crispy and delicious, especially with their tartar sauce. We snagged a same day reservation for Father's Day and had a fantastic experience. We were seated immediately. Although the place was lively and bustling, it was well-staffed and servers gave us water and took our app orders almost immediately. Pacific Catch is a chain of California seafood-based restaurants, with a touch of Hawaiian influence. We have frequented the Walnut Creek location multiple times, and the San Francisco one once or twice on our trek back across the city after running Bay to Breakers. We've never had a bad experience. Food, service, ambiance, all good. This Walnut Creek location is located on South Main St., across from The Cooperage and the new Original Joe's. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. They have a nice outside seating area, great for warm nights. But with the current icy weather, even with a tarp enclosure, heaters, and a fire going, it's too cold to sit outside. On our most recent visit, we had the salmon, tuna, and hamachi 'tacos' on a crispy nori 'shell', and the macaroni salad side. All tasty. They have an extensive menu, but we kept it light this time. All kinds of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage options, and a full bar. The ladies working here yesterday on Friday night should be given a raise along with hazard pay for some of the clientele they work with. There was a 'gentleman' who may have had a bit much, babbling non-stop and trying to, let's say, order off-menu. They handled him like pros, and didn't let him bother us too much. On our most recent visit they also had live music, which I'm not normally a fan of, but here it was actually at a reasonable volume, and nice to have in the background without being overwhelming. All in all, a pretty solid spot in downtown WC when you're in the mood for seafood or just a place to hang out over drinks. read more

We have been to this location a few times now. Nice patio area tonight with excellent live music, but way too cold. Music had a latin flair with bongos, ukulele and subtle vocals. We grabbed a spot at the bar and I bounced to the restroom. On my return is some shaggy haired, scruffy beard, christmas themed stocking hat dude chatting up the servers and my partner about stupid stuff. Upon my arrival and him asking if I shopped at thrift stores he turned 100% of his attention to the ladies behind the bar. Loud, obnoxious, rude, demeaning and more. Not sure why he wasn't asked to leave. We had the Hawaian Mac and Cheese and the 3 Nori Tacos with tuna, salmon and hamachi. All very good. More Hawaiian Mac & Cheese in the order please. My partner opted for a cider and I spied some Partida Reposado on the top shelf. Excellent tequila. As the night went on with "Mr. I like to hear myself talk and harass lady staff" we did find out he was asked to leave but wanted to finish his beer first which he nursed forever. We did a pretty good job of not letting him destroy the taste of the food. He eventually left. At one point we were going to move down a few stools or to a table but opted not to unsure of how unstable he was. So far just obnoxious and presumed harmless.
