This was our second time here and we are officially completely obsessed. We literally want to come here every single day. My boyfriend had the taco platter, and I had the Mexican grilled seared shrimp bowl and let me tell you... OH. MY. GOD. My bowl was absolutely incredible. I'm getting hungry just writing about it lol. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, everything was super fresh, and the flavors were unreal. Also huge portion size, especially for the price. This was our first time at this Pacific Catch location and, unsurprisingly to us, we had a great lunch. We mostly go to the one in the Sunset district but we were trying to get ahead of traffic today so we stopped here on the way back to Lodi. Service, food, vibes- everything was just as great as it always is. We both ordered the barramundi sea bass from the grill and I picked purple mashed potatoes and asparagus as my sides. I went here for lunch for my birthday. I had called ahead to confirm they serve lobster. So when we arrived, we were seated in the bar. As we ordered I saw that they had a lobster meal where you get to choose 2 sides. As I tried to order, the waiter told me I was wrong and that the only way I can have lobster was to add it to a main meal. AS I questioned him, he continued to tell me I was wrong. I asked for the manager, when he arrived, the manager confirmed that I was correct and his waiter was wrong. The fact that all I was doing was reading their menu and was being questioned was horrible. The waiter came back and said the menu was new and he didn't know. I find this hard to believe. The waiter should never tell the customer they're wrong, instead just say he will find the correct answer. Not a good start to my birthday celebration read more

I've eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and gotten delivery at least a half dozen times and it's been excellent every time. I love how you can switch things up easily while ordering from their online portal. The options are plentiful. Tonight I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, but changed the protein to salmon and the sticky rice to brown rice with quinoa. It was delicious! All the veggies were fresh and the teriyaki sauce is so tangy and sweet, and just the right amount. This place has it dialed in. We stopped by for a quick dinner but looks like this place wasn't quite how we remembered it. Started with 3 apps: poke with guac, sticky ribs and edamame. Edamame was kinda mushy, and the ribs were tender but salty. I got the 3 taco plate, family got various seafood entrees. Entrees were tasty, but service was sub par. We had to ask for refills several times and had a pile of plates, which we stacked, just left on our table. Maybe they were short staffed? Pacific Catch has always been a solid choice with something for everyone so decided to do a fam birthday dinner last year. Great ambiance, spacious & modern, well-lit and usually pretty busy. It's a seafood restaurant but it also has meat, plant-based tofu bowls, which was much appreciated with the variety of dietary preferences my family has. I enjoyed the calamari, my sushi roll and poke taco were fresh and tasty. All of the food was well-portioned and had overall good reviews. We started with happy hour cerviche trio which is amazing and big enough for 2. We split the small Mexican bowl and still had some to take home. Generous portions of fresh food. My husband enjoyed the happy hour draft beer. Don't forget to try one on the delicious desserts! The brownie sundae comes hot and is so yummy. Our server Rene was excellent! Holy frickin moly! Food was so good that I had to post 4 different pictures of the same meal!! First of all, my coworkers and I went around 11:30/11:45am on a Friday for lunch. It wasn't busy, but even if it was, the place has a lot of seating for small or large parties. It was my first time here, so I was overwhelmed with all the yummy sounding options but our server, Elfego (?), was so patient and kind. When I finally chose to order the fish tacos, I was prepared to order 3 of the same option, but he kindly let me know that I could order 1 of each. And so I did! I got the seabass, cod, and steak tacos - I did NOT expect it to be such a huge portion. It comes with a side of beans AND either a salad or fries (of your choice). I'm a huge steak person and it was great, but the fish tacos were sooooo much better, and that's saying something cause I'm not the biggest fish fan! They all had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. The texture was just perfect for me!! I'm not going to lie, before coming here, I really was craving fries. By the end of the meal, the tacos had stolen the show and filled me up so bad, I had barely touched the fries or the beans. Great spot in Walnut Creek, ambulance was nice, and they even had a live band performing in the bar/patio. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. We were greeted and taken to our table right away. On the night we went it was a bit slow in the dining room, but still good service and food. For our appetizer we had the Guaca-Poke (ahi poke, guacamole, tortilla chips), which was delicious. Street parking options and parking structures in the area. Quick to bring us our drinks and mentioned all the specials. We ordered so many appetizers and the pitcher Mai Thai which I must say was pretty strong but delicious. This place tends to go above and beyond with their waiters and quality of food. The fish I've had both times have been good quality fish. I highly recommend this spot as everyone loved it. My mom was craving their lobster rolls so she brought us here to try their food. Our server was very kind and service was quick. They accidentally served us fish and chips so they gave it to us for free (what a treat!). The fish and chips were crispy and delicious, especially with their tartar sauce. We snagged a same day reservation for Father's Day and had a fantastic experience. We were seated immediately. Although the place was lively and bustling, it was well-staffed and servers gave us water and took our app orders almost immediately. When they took our dinner order, they directed us to the market fish and persuaded us to get that over the Chilean sea bass, which turned out to be a great recommendation. They also were able to turn down the spice on some items to suit the kid. We got the poke salad, calamari, Korean BBQ steak and ribs over kimchi fried rice, market white fish with Asian herb chimichurri, and fish and chips. We kept a menu to order more but the portions were so generous that we were too stuffed. Food Review: The food reminded me of Elephant Bar circa 2000, at its peak of popularity. I mean this in the most positive way. The poke, ribs and fried rice were not authentic but they were tasty enough and reminded me of fun times at EB in the past. I think fusion food is a cuisine in its own right, and they got it down pretty good here. The fish was flaky and perfectly seared; the sauce delicious. The fish and chips included generous portions of fish and was pretty good. The fries were average. I'm obsessed with their salmon bowl. My kids treat the salmon I cook at home like it's radioactive, but somehow the salmon here disappears in seconds. We come with friends pretty often, and honestly, this place is my secret weapon for getting them to eat something that isn't carbs or junk. We love their poke trio also. Terrible food experience at way too much of a cost. A group of us recently went here, fairly busy but we had a reservation. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the only reason this isn't a 1 star review. I had been here 6 months ago and I was so impressed with the food that I suggested it to the group. I ordered the taco platter with 3 tacos (fish or beef) - I ordered the sea bass taco and 2 beef. The menu did not state there was a price difference but apon receiving the bill I was charged an additional charge for each spicy beef taco, which is extremely frustrating. My tacos were terrible, the sea bass was the fishiest fish I have ever tasted and it was completely inedible. The beans were okay but the salad was terrible with the miso dressing. So basically I just ate two little and barely filled beef tacos for $28. My friend ordered the Korean barbecue ribs and the sauce was so potently salty that they were inedible, she shared a bite with the others in my party and none of us could eat them because they were so salty. They then brought her replacement ribs with no sauce but put the same exact salty sauce on the side. Absolute waste of money here. The food was terrible and I, unfortunately, will never be coming back. read more

Pacific Catch is one of my favorite restaurants to eat seafood. I usually dine at the Dublin Restaurant but was meeting up with a lady friend who wanted to treat me to a birthday lunch. My first time dining at the Walnut Creek restaurant and was not disappointed. There was no wait on a this particular Saturday because of the Original Joe's grand opening across the street. We were helped by our server Jenny who greeted us with a friendly smile and great energy. My friend mentioned it was my birthday and Jenny gave me my dessert on the house! My friend and I both love fish and chips and what we both selected for our lunch. Our lunch came with a side miso salad which was delicious. They changed the menu a bit and I liked the previous bowl before where you could pick your sauce. But the salmon was good. Wish it was slightly bigger. I didn't try the burger. The restaurant was slammed...haven't seen it that busy in a while. We sat at the bar and our bartender was so kind, welcoming, cool headed and efficient. We have had her before and was pleased she was working. All the staff seem willing to help each other and got along so well. The food was really fresh and tasty. A small poke bowl was huge - I couldn't eat 1/2 of it. My hubby had a salmon sandwich, with fries and their winner slaw. We are amazed at the wine selection in that a lot of new choices, yet the prices did not go up. You can get a nice glass of wine for $16 which is unheard of in Walnut Creek. Sure, you can go for frank Chardonnay, but not for much more of a price. read more

We have frequented the Walnut Creek location multiple times, and the San Francisco one once or twice on our trek back across the city after running Bay to Breakers. We've never had a bad experience. Food, service, ambiance, all good. This Walnut Creek location is located on South Main St., across from The Cooperage and the new Original Joe's. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. They have a nice outside seating area, great for warm nights. But with the current icy weather, even with a tarp enclosure, heaters, and a fire going, it's too cold to sit outside. On our most recent visit, we had the salmon, tuna, and hamachi 'tacos' on a crispy nori 'shell', and the macaroni salad side. All tasty. They have an extensive menu, but we kept it light this time. All kinds of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage options, and a full bar. The ladies working here yesterday on Friday night should be given a raise along with hazard pay for some of the clientele they work with. There was a 'gentleman' who may have had a bit much, babbling non-stop and trying to, let's say, order off-menu. They handled him like pros, and didn't let him bother us too much. On our most recent visit they also had live music, which I'm not normally a fan of, but here it was actually at a reasonable volume, and nice to have in the background without being overwhelming. We grabbed a spot at the bar and I bounced to the restroom. My partner opted for a cider and I spied some Partida Reposado on the top shelf. Excellent tequila. As the night went on with "Mr. I like to hear myself talk and harass lady staff" we did find out he was asked to leave but wanted to finish his beer first which he nursed forever. We did a pretty good job of not letting him destroy the taste of the food. He eventually left. At one point we were going to move down a few stools or to a table but opted not to unsure of how unstable he was. So far just obnoxious and presumed harmless. There were only 2 of us and the portions were good enough to share. I wasn't too pleased with my choice of entree but that just gives me another reason to come back to try other stuff. I didn't like what I ordered which was the sea bass with the chimichurri sauce, kimchi fried rice, and Brussels sprouts. The kimchi fried rice was salty. I have came here before and enjoyed the food. But this time my plate wasn't as good it lacked flavor. The ribs were delicious just as before. The drinks here are always very good. One concern last time I dined here we were sat under a flickering light and were able to move seats because it wasn't busy. This time we were sat under that same table and it was bothering me and we were unable to be moved since seating was unavailable.
