Good communication, Easy to order, great food. Flavors taste like im in Jamaica. I will definitely be ordering Again.

The food is good. First off my husband had a taste for Caribbean food so I went on a mission to find some. I obviously don't pay attention to detail because I didn't realize that this is not a restaurant. One has to pick it up after you order and pay for it first, and because it's cooked to order it's ready the next day. I wanted to try all the meats, chicken, ribs and shrimp. I didn't know how to order being this was our first time. I had a few mishaps with getting the food, but eventually we did get it and thought it is worth the price. It was my first experience ordering from a vendor. The experience is not for us. Having it cooked wherever and paying first was not our preference. But, again the food is good. I would definitely go to his restaurant when and if there is one one day.

    Business card and delicious smoothie

Food was amazing! I got the jerk shrimp with rice and peas. I also got a smoothie that tasted just as good as the food! Had me thinking I was on vacay in Jamaica :) The vibes from the chef made me feel at home. You can tell he loves his craft and that translates to the taste of his food and drinks as well. I ordered for myself but he does catering. Thinking of having a party or even a small gathering, search no further! Try for yourself and see.

So excited to find some authentic Jamaican jerk chicken. Ordered the night before via text. Gave the time I would pick up. Demetrius reached out with the price and met me out front with my food. Jerk Chicken, (two nice thighs), red beans and rice and plantains for only $12.00. Pipping hot and full of that delicious jerk flavor. Can't wait to try his ribs next time. Do yourself a favor and try his food. You won't be disappointed.

Oxtail over white rice and plantain

Compliments to Demetrius and Donna for this Master piece. The oxtails are ALWAYS a 10/10. #Tendernism is to be expected. Service is 10/10. PICK UP ONLY. Make sure to order A DAY ahead of time as food is made to order and takes 2hr+ love to create.

Jerk Half Rack Smoked Ribs with Rice and Red Beans. A side of Jam N Mac and Jerk Chicken with Rice and Red Beans with 2 Fried Plantains.

I placed three orders the day before as usual. My ordered was the Jerk Shrimp which comes with the mango salsa combo with Red Rice with Beans and side of salad and 1/2 a rack of Jerk Smoked Ribs with some of the medium spicy BBQ sauce on the side. My wife ordered something else (will write her own review. As usual, my dinner was delicious. Our dinner was hot when we picked them up. It was hot when we got to our friend's house to eat our dinner while watching the Warriors basketball game. The last time I had the Jerk Shrimp Combo, I had the Jerk BBQ Chicken with it. This time, I had the Jerk Smoked Ribs. Both were delicious!! My next meal will have to be the Rasta Pasta and something else. Price was reasonable for the amount of food they offered. The owners Demitreus and Donna are the nicest people. They have texted me each time we bought our meals from them asking how was our dinner or if we enjoyed our food. Great customer service. My wife and I would highly recommend Jam N Jerk Kitchen if you're in the mood for some delicious Carribean

We are located in Pleasant Hill. We are not a restaurant, but a vendor that specializes in Jamaican Jerk and Jamaican Food Takeout Plates. To order call or text 510-978-1121

I'm confused by the website. I see pictures of delicious-looking food but no descriptions or prices. When I click on "Order Now", there's just a phone number. Does the person who answers the phone read the entire menu to me?

I apologize for the inconvenience. I now properly arranged my website to add and display my prices for the customer's convenience of ordering. I hope that you check out my website again to see what dishes you would like to enjoy. Again, I apologize… Read more

It looks like it's stuck in a time warp in the best way. It's charming and old school and cozy. The staff are incredibly kind and the service is really good. You order at the counter and then they call you when your food is ready or sometimes they bring it over to you. They have lunch and dinner, but they also have ice cream and specialized Italian drinks and soda as well as regular beverages. We got the shrimp cocktail, the clam chowder in the bread bowl, and the crab sandwich. The shrimp cocktail was super tasty. All of their seafood is super fresh. They prepare it daily. The sauce was really tasty. The clam chowder was amazing and the bread bowl was some of the freshest and most delicious sourdough I've ever had. It was crusty on the outside and soften pillow on the inside. They served it with butter as well as oyster crackers, and the soup itself was really creamy. They had a good amount of clams and very savory and cozy. The crab sandwich was really special and really delicious. There was literally one of their staff members cracking crab right near us for the sandwich so that's how fresh it was. When we don't want to drive too far for a seafood fix this place is where we go. They have lots of parking and affordable prices and the seafood is always fresh. Definitely recommend the spot for to go or to dine in.

We have tried to come here before but it was super packed no parking and it was night time . This was months ago . This morning my man surprised me by bringing me here again for Mother's Day breakfast/brunch . We got there right when opening and the inside was already full ( people made reservations for Mother's Day but they had outdoor seating which is covered from the sun and has heaters ) They had a special menu for Mother's Day today so a lot of what you might see on the regular menu may have not been on today's menu . Our waiter let alone the rest of the staff were very nice and polite and kept wishing happy Mother's Day to everyone . It was very nice . Now food ! Ofcourse you know I got oysters . They had 5 different kinds to choose from but I got the dozen with all of them ! All fresh ! Some were more sweet some more Briney some more creamy . All of them were good and the shallot vinaigrette was the cherry on top ! He got the tortilla soup and we shared the cheesy crabby bread . He dipped it in the soup ( boys lol ) and sad it was good . My personal opinion I love the bread they used ! And nice flavor with out taking away from the nice amount of crab they put on it ! The steak Cobb salad was a very nice portion and the steak was cooked medium rare just how I like it . I was expecting it to be cut up pieces but no they gave you a whole filet which is nice if you want something light and filling I'd definitely recommend this salad . The clams were amazing ! The sauce was so savory just added a dash of lemon and I was in heaven . Plus the cheesy toasted bread they give you to slurp all that excellence lol top tier . Crab omelette was made with egg whites only no yolk , and had ample amount of LUMP crab meat no skimpy at all ! Potatoes were seasoned nice . And the waffles ( which comes by itself heads up that's why we ordered sausage and bacon as a side 8$ each kinda pricey. But we're very thick and good ) the waffles comes with a berry butter spread fresh fruit . Fluffy but still crisp. The limoncello mimosa flavor wise loved the limon but lacked the mosa part . Overall I'd highly recommend and want to come back to try more options . It was nice seeing all the happy families and the cutesy babies all around . Today was a beautiful day thankyou Wences !

Overall, the place felt very clean, tidy, and well organized. The service was also great and staff were friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a plus. Now, let's get to the food review. Original Sisig Kapampangan: Absolutely delicious. It was served on a hot plate and had a savory, creamy flavor (possibly from the mayonnaise) while still tasting a bit tangy once you squeezed lemon over it. I'd definitely order this again. Beef Brisket Kare Kare: I honestly thought I didn't like kare kare until I tried their version. The peanut sauce was rich and savory without tasting like peanut butter in a jar like Skippy. The beef was tender, and I also loved the assortment of vegetables included in the dish. What really took it to another level, though, was the bagoong sauce (on the side), which paired so well with this dish. This dish was absolutely yummy. Sizzling Beef Brisket Ala Pobre: We were really excited to try this because we'd heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't really deliver. The flavor was pretty bland, and even though it was topped with fried garlic, it was still missing a strong garlic flavor. The beef itself was tender, which was probably the only good thing about the dish, but aside from that, the sauce and overall flavor were just underwhelming. Garlic Rice: This came in a pretty generous portion enough for three. I could definitely taste the garlic, but I think it could've used a little more. Still, it was good overall.

The ambiance was great, we had a friend preforming live on their stage and the whole place was popping. Drinks are good, performances are great. Great place for a party, just not the food and service for me.
