    Happy Family Delight

So my beautiful wife and I, were looking all over Yelp for some great Chinese food. We found it at Ming's! Their luncheon menu is priced right and quite extensive! 2 pages of great lunch choices! We picked lemon chicken and happy family delight. Two solid dishes! We did take out too, Mongolian Beef and Broccoli Beef, also two great options! We will definitely be back, in the near future' Great food, great service and very ADA friendly! Overall : 30/10!

    Beef chow fun

First time here and the food was pretty solid. Started with the West Lake minced beef soup and also had the beef chow fun and the shrimp with lobster sauce. The soup might have been the best version I have had - small bits of carrot, water chestnuts, and mushrooms made every spoonful delicious. The beef chow fun had a good wok hei flavor. Will need to try other dishes

Lunch special - bitter melon beef with fish fillets, egg roll and chow mein. Also came with soup.

Very good basic Cantonese food, very fresh and presented in an appealing way. It's a small cozy place, nicely decorated, and is located in a shopping area with plenty of parking. I had the lunch special, fish fillets with bitter melon in black bean sauce. It's one of my favorites! You don't often find this and I was so happy to see it on the lunch menu! Hubby had the beef chow fun which was solid. The service here is great. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Hubby was just getting out of an appointment nearby and I told them he wouldn't get here until 5 minutes before closing but they said to have him come anyway, they would cook up his food now and to take his time. What great service!

We went to Ming's in Pleasant Hill after seeing many great reviews. The restaurant's appearance is very nice, both outside and inside. We stopped in to try their weekend lunch specials. The staff was very friendly and quickly refilled our tea kettle with hot water. The Sweet and Sour Soup was a great start. My Crispy Ginger Chicken was excellent, though I did ask for extra spicy sauce to give it more heat. My wife loved her Yu Shaing Chicken. The restaurant is super clean and well decorated. We completely enjoyed the experience and the food.

Sizzling rice soup and garlic broccoli

Mings is a classic for a reason! Been ages since I have dined in. Great fast service with classic American Chinese dishes. We started with pot stickers and sizzling rice soup (my fav). Their crab ragoons are also great! The Mongolian beef could have been spicer but was good. Love the garlic chicken and broccoli with white sauce. Their fried rice has tons of flavor. The hong noodles are the fav- crispy noodles that soften in a delish sauce with tons of meat.

What a nice suprise in my Hot and Sour soup.

May 31 2025 3.5 Stars My Son has been braging about Ming's so here we go. We ordered like four typical Americans. The Hits: 1) It is a small clean shop. Two bathrooms. Fast service. Not noisy (aside from my wife). The food servings look beautiful. 2) Hot and Sour Soup. As good as the best. Suprise! It has shrimp. 3) Honey Walnut Prawns-delicious. A large serving of plump prawns with plenty to share. Has walnuts up the Ying Yang. 4) House Special Fried Rice. Nothing special here but near as good as any I've had. The Misses: 1) Sweet and Sour Pork. Smallish pieces of somewhat dry pork with dry breading. Chewy. The sauce is not very sweet and seems a bit vinegary to me. 3) Salt and Pepper Calamari. Too crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We asked for some sauce to try and save it to avail. 4) They put the rush on us to eat faster. The waitress spilled soup on the table and my plate in the process of pouring our soup unasked.. 5) Something made me feel uneasy both mentally and physically after eating here. I'm guessing msg but that's just a guess. 6) The waiter awkwardly holds and runs your payment credit card in front of you. He watches while asking electronically for a large percentage tip. You need to choose "custom tip" and then $0.00 if you want to leave cash like we do. Pro tips: 1) It is very easy to drive past the entrance which necessitates an extra mile and a U-Turn. 2) Don't take resturaunt advice from my Son.

We have tried to come here before but it was super packed no parking and it was night time . This was months ago . This morning my man surprised me by bringing me here again for Mother's Day breakfast/brunch . We got there right when opening and the inside was already full ( people made reservations for Mother's Day but they had outdoor seating which is covered from the sun and has heaters ) They had a special menu for Mother's Day today so a lot of what you might see on the regular menu may have not been on today's menu . Our waiter let alone the rest of the staff were very nice and polite and kept wishing happy Mother's Day to everyone . It was very nice . Now food ! Ofcourse you know I got oysters . They had 5 different kinds to choose from but I got the dozen with all of them ! All fresh ! Some were more sweet some more Briney some more creamy . All of them were good and the shallot vinaigrette was the cherry on top ! He got the tortilla soup and we shared the cheesy crabby bread . He dipped it in the soup ( boys lol ) and sad it was good . My personal opinion I love the bread they used ! And nice flavor with out taking away from the nice amount of crab they put on it ! The steak Cobb salad was a very nice portion and the steak was cooked medium rare just how I like it . I was expecting it to be cut up pieces but no they gave you a whole filet which is nice if you want something light and filling I'd definitely recommend this salad . The clams were amazing ! The sauce was so savory just added a dash of lemon and I was in heaven . Plus the cheesy toasted bread they give you to slurp all that excellence lol top tier . Crab omelette was made with egg whites only no yolk , and had ample amount of LUMP crab meat no skimpy at all ! Potatoes were seasoned nice . And the waffles ( which comes by itself heads up that's why we ordered sausage and bacon as a side 8$ each kinda pricey. But we're very thick and good ) the waffles comes with a berry butter spread fresh fruit . Fluffy but still crisp. The limoncello mimosa flavor wise loved the limon but lacked the mosa part . Overall I'd highly recommend and want to come back to try more options . It was nice seeing all the happy families and the cutesy babies all around . Today was a beautiful day thankyou Wences !

It was crusty on the outside and soften pillow on the inside. They served it with butter as well as oyster crackers, and the soup itself was really creamy. They had a good amount of clams and very savory and cozy. The crab sandwich was really special and really delicious. The jerk chicken was beautifully executed. Smoky, well-marinated, and layered with flavor without being overpowering. It wasn't aggressively spicy or one-dimensional; instead, it had depth, the kind that tells you the seasoning had time to develop. The meat was tender, cooked through, and balanced perfectly between char and juiciness. The rice and peas were equally satisfying -- flavorful enough to stand alone but clearly designed to complement the protein. And the plantains were caramelized just right: soft, sweet, and not overly oily. What really stands out is the care. Nothing felt rushed or generic. As a vendor operation, it would be easy to cut corners but this feels like food made with pride. The Bay Area has no shortage of Caribbean spots, but Jamin Jerk Kitchen holds its own with quality and consistency. This isn't just good jerk, it's thoughtful, well-prepared food served with the kind of warmth and presence that keeps you coming back. Definitely worth seeking out wherever they're posted next.

My 5 coworkers and I decided to try Jam N Jerk Kitchen out so we ordered some plates for 6 people. The value of the the quality of the food on as well as the amount you get is fantastic (take a look at the pics). We ordered a medley of everything, the Jerk Fish, Jerk Chicken, Oxtails, Rasta Pasta, Jam n Cheez, Rice N Peas, all were incredible. The chicken was so flavorful, the oxtails fall off the bone, the fish with the mango salsa was kickin, and the jam n Cheeze was sooooo gooey! The food was so good in fact that our coworkers demanded us to share! The food literally made me believe in love again, so I called my wife and said "Honey I believe in Love again and Love you, to which she responded, I love you too but you better bring me home that food!" Some tips to make your experience Rad 1. The menu on their site is merely just a guide regarding prices and what is available. When the owners contact you they will tell you the prices and have your best interest in mind and guide you to what is right for you. 2. The address will take you to a large complex. Find the pool and leasing office and that is the location to pick up your food. Again the love they put in the food, the quantity of what you get, and the taste makes this a must have!

Overall, the place felt very clean, tidy, and well organized. The service was also great and staff were friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a plus. Now, let's get to the food review. Original Sisig Kapampangan: Absolutely delicious. It was served on a hot plate and had a savory, creamy flavor (possibly from the mayonnaise) while still tasting a bit tangy once you squeezed lemon over it. I'd definitely order this again. Beef Brisket Kare Kare: I honestly thought I didn't like kare kare until I tried their version. The peanut sauce was rich and savory without tasting like peanut butter in a jar like Skippy. The beef was tender, and I also loved the assortment of vegetables included in the dish. What really took it to another level, though, was the bagoong sauce (on the side), which paired so well with this dish. This dish was absolutely yummy. Sizzling Beef Brisket Ala Pobre: We were really excited to try this because we'd heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't really deliver. The flavor was pretty bland, and even though it was topped with fried garlic, it was still missing a strong garlic flavor. The beef itself was tender, which was probably the only good thing about the dish, but aside from that, the sauce and overall flavor were just underwhelming. Garlic Rice: This came in a pretty generous portion enough for three. I could definitely taste the garlic, but I think it could've used a little more. Still, it was good overall.
