OK, let's jump into this food was quite delicious in portions. I went there for lunch and would say this is a nice place for local couples and retirees who are seeking a nice, refreshing lunch or something exotic. My negatives are a problems found with most restaurants, staff on their cell phones, not focusing on customers, hearing staff conversations, and staff not knowing the menu. My other negatives would be that if you ask for any add-ons, your meal may become a bit pricey, and adding any protein to your meal may not be cost-effective. Still is a good spot to dine or take a date I'll close with the positives of this place, which is that it offers plenty of surrounding parking, a nice park across the street, and access to other dessert places to close out a meal. read more

My family and I came here for Mother's Day lunch and it was fabulous. The restaurant is lovely, beautiful warm vibe. The service was excellent, very friendly. I ordered the Burmese Chicken Wings (Medium Spicy) and they were flavorful and had a great texture. Perfectly cooked with a balanced spice level, just delicious. The Spicy Noodles with Chicken had just the kick I needed. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the spice mixture in the sauce was incredibly delicious. Ordered 5 dishes. Salads: tea leaf and papaya salad. Vegetable: green beans, sweet chili tofu, and fiery tofu. Tea leaf salad was right on, lots of tea leaves were made available. A great find in the East Bay. My son and I went for a quick dinner. This place did not disappoint. The roti palata was the best I've had locally. The garlic noodle was ok -- not enuf garlic. Went here on a Friday night and it wasn't busy at all, however it was the day after new years so that should count for something. Ambiance is simple and modern, but food is delicious! My favorite was definitely the salt and pepper chicken wings. Minted chicken was good; the honey walnut shrimp wad good and the breading was very light but crispy. This restaurant name sounded familiar and now I know why... I tried this place during the concord festival years ago which clearly did not leave a great note/taste in my mouth or else I would have frequented this establishment as much as I could. If you are not lucky enough to be there during their lunch hours (excluding holidays) for their lunch specials, their dishes are excessively expensive (yes I understand food costs have and are going up but it's EXPENSIVE). Second and the major reason I never came back, their stir fried dishes are excessively salty. You will eat more rice than the dish itself or you may need to order a salad to kick back some of the salt as the salads are flavorless when consumed with a stir fried dish. Lettuce were brown with the tea leaf salad. Workers and servers are friendly but I am perplexed as to why they provide forks and spoons but not chopsticks for takeout orders. Previous experience was dining in against a large party and therefore we were ignored most of the time as the servers paid their full attention to the large party. Lots of folks take it easy and deep conversations ensue as they dine in. Furniture is modern. Decor is modern. Street parking or luckily the city of Concord provides (free!) parking garages nearby. The only food that I've tried to far that I would say is kind of bland is the Spicy Noodle; got it in very spicy and medium spice level and both were bland but in a good way because I still finished it . The garlic noodles were good but I wish there were more crispy garlic, instead it tasted a little sour? Maybe jarred garlic were used.
