One of our favorite KBBQ spots. Very delicious and flavorful. Service is great, especially the food runners and bussers-- they're amazing! Plenty of seating and spacious enough.

Went here on a Monday and service was very fast and efficient. The food was so good ! Meat cuts are high quality and delicious. Restaurant was not too crowded and the server was very nice and polite.

Inside - A bustling Korean BBQ restaurant interior with multiple diners seated at tables, stainless steel ventilation hoods, and a granite countertop in the foreground.

Probably the best KBBQ here in the county. And very much thanks for having the thin pork belly and thin beef belly. They didnt have them on our last review from many years ago (and I just noticed I should've updated my review long time ago. sorry for the long delay).

A Korean BBQ restaurant table with a grill cooking meat, onions, and vegetables, surrounded by side dishes and condiments.

The space itself is huge and there's a whole back section that they ended seating us in. It is a bit tight as they really stack the tables next to each other. Good AYCE Korean bbq option and they give you a wide variety of side dishes. Not the best I've had but still a good option for a good selection of different meats and appetizers

I wanted to try this place for my birthday with the fam. They don't take reservations so when we walked in around lunch time, there was no wait. Parking can be a handful since so many restaurants and shops around. They allowed 5 meats per round and we pulled the menu from scanning the bar code too. We ordered the ayce premium menu which was $55 per person. I wanted to try the wagyu brisket, galbi, and the scallop. My absolute favorite is the wagyu brisket and galbi. I really liked their huge portions (especially the wagyu brisket), but was difficult to cook on the small grill. It was better to cut the meat in small portions so they cook faster. We also tried the following: Pork shoulder (must order) Hawaiian pork belly (must order) Unagi Garlic pork belly Ohgane has plenty of options to choose from. Only downfall was the service. Our waitress did not checked on our table if we needed more meat, water refill or asked how was the food. Only time was changing the grill. Overall the food and portions were worth it.

Decent experience. Didn't love it but didn't hate it. The food was decent overall, nothing special. Service was good and food came out at a good pace. Good first experience, would I come back? Probably not, not because of anything in particular, I guess the food didn't really amaze me in any way but I would definitely recommend people to come try it :)

We had a lovely experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted at the door, and our food and drinks arrived very quickly. I really enjoyed using the new tablet--it made ordering simple and convenient. Everything was served promptly, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The ventilation for the barbecue was excellent, which made the dining experience even more comfortable. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family, and I highly recommend this location.

Came here with a friend for lunch as they have several EV chargers in this Park and Shop shopping center and my friend needed to charge her car. The place is similar to the Ohgane at Alameda South Shore. They had a lunch special with choice of soup, scrambled egg and bulgogi for only $20 so my friend got that and I got japchae. Both were tasty and hardy. We will come back again as the food, service and atmosphere is great for catching up

My friends and I came here on a Saturday night and had to wait about 10 minutes. We ordered on the tablet and the food came shortly. The portions for each dish is huge. It took a long time for the meats to cook. $40/person. Service was ok. They gave us the wrong food sometimes or forgot to give us food we ordered.

Ohgane Concord has stepped their game up big time! Tons of great new appetizers and meat options and I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was stuffing my face. $33.95 for dinner + $20 for premium, you can't really beat that. I think the Oakland spot is $68.99 and they didn't offer all of these cool upgrades. The premium got you unagi, waygu, beef tartar, marinated galbi, carne asada, SCALLOPS, a pork belly and a few other things I can't really remember. TheBEST appetizer they have going right now is HANDS DOWN, the Braised Short Ribs. Sooooo flavorful! I think we ordered like 4 and they give you a nice size portion! The gravy it's in is delicious and goes great with the rice. The meat was tender and not over cooked. I would go back strictly for that. They also added new appetizers and meats to the regular menu and I was loving those as well. Lamb cube steak, Tornado potatoes, butter baby baked potatoes, pizza corn cheese and so much more. I definitely got my moneys worth and will be back soon. Service was ok. I do think the service buttons should be on the outside of the table. Ours was hiding so we didn't see it until the end and we spent a great deal of time flagging down waiters. I am giving them 4 stars because of the cleanliness of the grills. All of them need a deep clean underneath the grill plate. So black and crusted over with soot and caked on food that it was very unappetizing to see when they changed the grill plates. As a place where grilling is all you do, that should be apart of the daily clean up.

There's a little bell that you ring for service which they don't bother you during your meal. Service is quick and good, very attentive to the grill and switch out as soon as it has build up when it turns black. The wait was not too bad on a Sat evening, maybe 5-10mins. There's plenty of parking, the table and setting is room so you won't feel crowded even on a busy night. There are plenty of meat choices and quality is good. Will definitely go back.

One of the best KBBQ spots in the area! We came in for a table of 2 for dinner on a weekend, and only waited a few minutes before we were seated. We came in about 2 hours till closing, and they still seated us. Plenty of tables throughout, with barriers to help with privacy. An extensive menu with a very attentive staff. They made sure to check on our table despite it being very busy. They always checked if we wanted more meat, and verified our ordered before sending it to the kitchen. Service was quick, and we always had something cooking on the grill. Meat was seasoned and proportioned nicely for only two diners. The sesame oil with the salt/pepper, onions, cheese corn, and steak were my favorites. Would love to come back!

ACYE for $33.99 per person! (11/2024) You really can't go wrong with Oghane! So, I was going to go next door to Tang Jip or Tofu House to have some Galbi (Korean bbq short ribs) and realized that one dish of galbi is running at ~$40!!! Heck, why don't I just go to Ohgane ACYE for only $33.99 per person and enjoy GALBI FREEEDOM!?!! (was trying to avoid ACYE as not to overeat!!... oh well, too late!! lol) We arrived early at ~6pm so there's no line yet. We were greeted and seated promptly by their staff, who were friendly, fast and super efficient. The meat was fine and tasty; and the staff was helpful and very prompt in assisting with changing the grill, bringing more orders, or water/ tea. Overall an excellent dinner experience at a great value. Highly recommended!! PS and hint - be sure to order slow or try half orders so you can try out more variety without the risk of wasting food. They do charge $40 for wasting food. :)

Can be busy since it is near Ranch Market 99, but we didn't have a wait. The food was amazing, and we had to get the Daeho Kalbijjim with the added cheese topping that they use a torch at your table to melt the cheese! We ordered the Japchae and the Seafood Pancake, it comes with a sauce, so delicious! The Banchan (sides) were also delicious, loved that each tasted different, sometimes you can't tell each side dish flavor but here you do. We went to a location in the South Bay, so we were so excited that there was a Concord location! If you want good comfort Korean food, eat here!! We will be back!

So fast forward months later I took my cousin from Ohio here to eat korean food for the first time and the Kalbijjim was just as perfect as the first time. So that consistency of incredible flavor definitely deserves 5 stars. Now as for the place itself it is clean with enough space between tables and the lighting is perfect. Not dimly lit but not supermarket bright. Our waitress was really nice and did frequently come back to check on us. Overall this place is worth everyone visiting at least once. Now I will admit I have only tried the incredible Kalbijjim with short rib and oxtail but this dish alone is worth every dollar. Please add the cheese so they can roast it in front of you and you get the whole ambiance of the moment. I promise you won't be dissapointed.

There's a good variety of options--beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp--and you grill everything yourself. Some of the beef was good, and some didn't even need sauce. The banchan were minimal and mostly spicy, and overall didn't really feel like traditional Korean flavors. Drinks and desserts cost extra. We ordered around 8 different beef, chicken, and shrimp items, but the sides were hit or miss. The dwenjang soup was bland, japchae was also pretty tasteless, and the hotteok was tough. We also ordered edamame and never got it. Service was where things really fell short. It was hard to get a server's attention, and we had to keep waving. I asked for an extra bowl and it took a while. There was only one tong at first, so we had to ask for another. Same with getting a clean plate. To be fair, they did change the grill without us asking, but overall it felt like we had to keep asking for everything. We even mentioned it was our first time dining at the restaurant and asked for some guidance, but didn't really get any. The whole experience ended up feeling a bit exhausting instead of enjoyable. That said, for the price, the BBQ itself is decent and you get 2 hours to eat. I would come back mainly for the $21.95 lunch price, but not for the overall experience.

The person working was super friendly! I gave this place a 3 because the deep fried chicken and shrimp were overly cooked and extremely dry. The fried chicken was very thin. Didn't even think it had chicken inside. We ordered beef bulgogi which was very tender and filled with flavor. The fried red chicken had a lot of flavor but it felt like the ratio from meat to batter wasn't great. The rice cakes in chili was interesting... it tasted a bit like spaghettiOs... the texture of the dish was like a squishy tasting gnocchi. The japchae was filled with flavor. At first the texture threw me of but afterwards you are hit with great taste. The tofu was so good. For a place that's in the mall, it's ok. We also ordered a diet coke, but ended up getting a canned diet pepsi (was for some reason thinking it was going to be in a cup). The honey wings were really good, other than honey, there was no other sweetness which I'm glad about...I liked the natural flavor, and it wasn't overly saucy. The Mr. Lee wings had some jalapeno and red onion pieces and it had something like a soy glaze taste to it. The chicken wings weren't completely crunchy, but they had a bit of a crisp and chew to it from the batter, which I enjoyed. The batter was definitely different from other large chain restaurants, but it was delicious! The restaurant was pretty empty at the time we went, but very spacious.
