Ko Cups is a wonderful place when they first open in Veranda Concord California. The place is situated in an outdoor shopping area with many open seating. Parking plenty. We ordered the beef and chicken bowl. However this time the BBQ chicken very dry and tough! Rice and noodles were fine ! The beef was more shredded and cold. Hopefully it was just this one time. We will visit again to give them another review. The service was helpful and professional.

Good place to have a quick bite inside of the shopping center and the movie theater. Great outdoor seating. I've been coming here since they were opened. Food is always good to get a quick bite. Service is great.

A quick, on-the-go Korean spot in Concord while walking around Veranda. Customer service is always great! Definitely recommend this go-to Korean place. Especially, for the price!

The food is ok for a takeout place but they need to learn to cook rice. They used too much water and they clumped together.

They need to learn to cook rice. They shouldn't be clumped together and soft as mashed potato.

This is one of those fast food Korean spots that provide good service with yummy meats and rice! They have an array of sauces for your tasting pleasure. Not much seating inside but why not take it outside to sit by the water fountains?! It's so beautiful out there.

Such an awesome concept! Delicious Korean barbecue in a hefty little bowl aka "cup". I dig it! I was hanging out in the Veranda one day and decided to grab something quick for dinner. I realized that I hadn't yet tried Ko Cups and decided to give it a whirl. First off, I love the fast casual vibe! Many of the Korean bbq spots around these parts are larger sit down restaurants that are primarily meant for larger parties to dine in at. While there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, it makes it difficult for solo diners to enjoy a casual and lest costly meal. With Ko Cups, you get the same Korean barbecue taste but without the pricey cost and sit down experience. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff. Told them that it was my first time there and they explained the ordering process. You choose a cup of your choice and customize the sides to your liking or keep them as is. I ordered the B-cup which contains grilled beef ribeye bulgogi with rice, corn, lettuce, and japchae noodles. There are various sauces on a counter in the back that you can choose from to top off your bowl. I topped mine off with mild gochujang mayo and sesame mayo. It was so damn flavorful! The bulgogi was tender and sweet. The combination of everything went so well together. It's like a mini Korean bento squeezed together in a bowl. I truly enjoyed it. For the price, you really get a lot of food in that bowl! The bowl will run you about $10 which is an absolute steal for dinner these days. Plus, you can enjoy your meal while relaxing in the outdoor space in the Veranda. I can't believe that I didn't try this place sooner. This will without a doubt be a regular grub spot for me when I'm hanging out in the Veranda now.

In a nutshell; ok food to just chill while hanging out in the nice plaza. The bulgogi cup I got was fairly decent. Good amount of bulgogi, egg was ok, good amount of rice. The fries are bit of a disappointment though, I paid for bbq chicken add-on and it was very dry. The fries itself are ok, wasn't too greasey but thought it'd be better. Wasn't difficult to get a seat, plenty of chairs and tables around. Nice plaza to just relax and eat at. Overall ok place to just stop by if you're looking for some easy asian/korean food.

I don't normally like to eat out for Korean food unless it's all you can eat. It's simply more economical and enjoyable. I still ate here with my family regardless though because it looked interesting and it's local. In the end, Ko Cups did nothing to change my mindset about eating out for Korean food but that doesn't mean it was bad. It was just fine. I got a B Cup with a fried egg. The bulgogi was flavorful, as most bulgogi I've eaten. Having half rice and half japchae was also nice. The unfortunate thing was that the fried egg was overhard. I prefer my eggs to be fried while retaining the runny yolk. I'll probably have to tell them that if I eat here again. My cousin and sister shared their order of fries with me. The fries were not very good. They were soggy, not at all crispy, and I'd even go so far as to say they were undercooked. Most unfortunate and incredibly disappointing. I liked that they had what I'm assuming is an all you can drizzle sauce cart thing that customers can use for their orders to their heart's content. I liked the gochumayo. If doing so weren't unsanitary and a total prick move on my part, I would've drank it out of the bottle. Overall, Ko Cups is okay. It's far from the best non-AYCE Korean food in Concord. I'd prefer Plus 82 in Sun Valley Mall over this, which is also significantly easier to park at. In a pinch though, this suffices. But parking at the Veranda is a total pain so it's unlikely that I would actively seek this out again anytime soon unless I was already shopping in the area.

Bibimbap is life I always come here and like to add their meats to my bibimbaps :P'!! Service always good and the store is cute

Cute little spot we passed by and decided to try. We ordered the fries topped with bulgogi and egg, and it was pretty good! My favorite part is how they have their sauces available for self-serve, so you can grab as much as you like.

Come see Ko or Dennis and they'll take care of you. I've been coming here for years and these guys are the best and the food taste great!

I met my friends Sarah and David for dinner here on 11/04/2025. We walked in at 5:30pm and were immediately greeted by the lone female server, who seated us at a table towards to back of the restaurant. The interior was very clean, and lighting was soft and warm. The giant restaurant logos on the walls were prominently displayed. Their menu featured a wide array of appetizers, soups, bibimbaps, cold and hot noodles, meat dishes, etc. We opted against their signature kalbijjim and instead got three entrée combos (L.A. galbi, spicy pork, and bulgogi). Each entrée came with our choice of tofu soup. Half a dozen banchans were brought to us before the arrival of the entrées. The buchu (chives) and baechu (Napa cabbage) kimchi were excellent. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Portion wise, the tofu soups were of decent size, but the meat entrées were kind of stingy (they were served in small round skillets). I had the seafood tofu soup and it was very good. It was loaded clams, shrimp, and squid. We shared the entrées, and they all tasted great. The only gripe I had was a couple pieces of the galbi had very little meat on them. Service we received was great. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The total was somewhere around $130 (with a bottle of soju, a tangerine slushy, and a soda). Overall, we all thought the food was good. Return trip very likely. 4 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - Ample parking on site. - Yelp waitlist deployed at this restaurant.

Gen was the first K-bbq spot I ever tried, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Over…read morethe years, though, so many K-bbq restaurants have opened up that unfortunately Gen kind of slipped off my radar. But this week, something came over me, and I decided to give it another shot. Lunch was about $22 per person as of June 2026. I remember going to the Concord location years ago and feeling like the portions were pretty small, even though you could order it as many times as you wanted. This time around though, our experience was completely different. Every order came out piled high like a mountain of meat. Everything was fresh, the marinades were on point. On top of that, our server was so friendly and attentive. Honestly, if I could give this place six or seven stars out of five, I would!!! Honey Soy Beef Belly: Absolutely amazing. The beef was sliced thin with the perfect ratio of meat to fat. The sweet and savory marinade complemented the richness of the beef belly oh so perfectly. I also loved the generous amount of green onions they sprinkled on top, which made this dish even more inviting. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. Beef Belly: This is basically the unseasoned version of the Honey Soy Beef Belly, so the quality of the meat was just as good. The nice thing is that you can customize each bite with the seasonings at the table, whether it's Green Tea Salt, Sesame Oil, or Sweet Soy Sauce. Simple but delicious. Bulgogi: Bulgogi has never been my favorite since I usually prefer savory over sweet, but this was still very good. The beef was tender, the marinade was flavorful, and everything was well balanced. That said, I'd still pick the Beef Belly dishes over this one. Chadol: This beef brisket used to be my go to order at Gen. Somewhere along the way, though, they switched to a leaner cut of meat. So now it wasn't quite as tender as I remembered. Still though, the meat was fresh and tasty. Honestly, it really comes down to your personal preference and whether you enjoy a leaner cut or a fattier cut. Pork Belly: Thick slices of unseasoned Pork Belly that you grill yourself and cut into smaller pieces then dip in Sesame Oil and Salt? Yes please! These were incredibly satisfying. Once cooked, the pork was even still tender and juicy. Easily my favorite pork option. Spicy Marinated Squid This dish had that classic Korean spicy sauce that balances sweet, savory, and spicy flavors super duper well. The squid stayed tender after grilling, it was amazing. I'd definitely order this again. Hotteok: A Korean style pancake filled with Brown Sugar and Peanuts. It's definitely a heavier dessert after a bbq meal than what I usually prefer, but it was still really good. The outside was pleasantly chewy (mochi like texture), while the filling was warm, sweet, and gooey. Kimchi Fried Rice: Don't sleep on this one because their Kimchi Fried Rice was fantastic. It had the perfect balance of tang and savory flavors, and it paired well with all the bbq meats. Super yummy.

I was disappointed with the service during my first visit. I waited about 35 minutes for my food,…read morewhich was much longer than expected. The japchae was very tough and lacked flavor. I also requested an additional side dish, but it never arrived. Even my drinks were served late. While the prices are reasonable, the quality of service needs significant improvement. The music was way too loud, almost like a night club - where you have to practically raise your voice to talk. It's great for guys, where their voice projects, but it's more difficult for anyone that has a bit higher. There are no tongs (but they will give you extra chopsticks). Also, the individual induction units are right on the table, instead of inset. This causes the potential of hot soup base spilling as a more likely experience for clumsy people. For the thing I love about this place? First... value for money. $29.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot? This is amazing in this age where an entree is like $25-30. Appetizers are ordered 2 at a time, and meats are 6 at a time. Meats only come one on a thin tray, which holds about 4-6 slices. So you'll be ordering other helpings, since there are I believe 5 beef selections, and a pork and chicken selection (7) total. The middle of the restaurant is a large bar where you get everything that isn't a meat. The selection of vegetables, and noodles are pretty vast, and almost always refilled. The seafood area has shrimp, clams, tilapia, and mussels. Sauces area also on the sides which makes it pretty much an on-going motion. It's not the high-end of hot pot by any means, but the ambience that they're projecting works for the area that it's in and how they compete with the rest of the restaurants in the area. But for the money? I'd go here. We did sit in a side-middle area where it wasn't a booth. However, they made sure to separate out the seating so that if you were a group of 3, they situated in opposite ends to create space. That attentiveness of spacing actually created a better atmosphere which was a small thing, but a smart thing. Love that they actually celebrate birthdays with banging of pots, and wishing well. It's something that is fun for groups and definitely nice if you happen to be celebrating a birthday! Definitely will come back.
