Wanted to give this spot a try. Got there and the place is so busy and not much handicap parking so I had to park far and lucky my friend was meeting me there and helped push me to the location but then the ramp for wheelchairs is only on the side where the 1 handicap parking space was so we had to go all the way around which is so inconvenient it's like they don't like disabled people to visit this spot because I would have left if I didn't have a helping hand. I really like bulgogi from a food truck I go to so I thought about trying this out. Bulgogi here was not good like it turned me off. If they find a better recipe to cook their bulgogi they might get retuning customers. The lady taking our order was nice but I feel that their food needs work. On my way back from Martinez, I decided to stop by for a to-go lunch and was not disappointed! Although there was a short line of about 4-5 customers, it moved fairly quickly! Menu: In terms of the menu, it's pretty small with only about 6 different options, but if a rice bowl with some meat is what you're craving, then this is perfect for you! I was tempted to try the K-cup as it seemed like some sort of fried chicken tossed in sauce but ended up getting the combo cup with bulgogi and BBQ Chicken. They also let you choose which type of rice you would like (white or brown) and pulled out a menu of the other items that come in the bowl to ask if I had any allergies or didn't want anything in the bowl. Food: Once I got the bowl itself, I made myself 3 sauce cups (teriyaki, mayo, and their house soy sauce) and headed home! The bowl came with corn, radish, japchae, and brown rice in addition to the meat. Overall, it was pretty good, but I have to say, it's nothing that you couldn't make by yourself at home. B Cup: This was super yummy and the portion was very generous. I came here after the gym and still had leftovers to eat later! I love that there is sooo many components packed into one bowl! The bed of glass noodles and rice was topped by bulgogi, corn, and lettuce (love the crunch it added)! Everything goes perfectly together and the bulgogi is yummy and flavorful. Was craving some wings for dinner and my daughter wanted ko cups so we swung by before catching a movie. I also decided to get the fries with the bulgolgi at the last minute bc I didn't think the wings would fill me up. I was wrong cause the portions are bigger than I thought, which is a always a plus for me! The menu selection was very easy, kinda like fast food Korean. We all order #1 (which was the beef over rice). It was delicious! Everyone loved it! Ko Cups is pretty good. You have to be patient to figure out the right combination of flavors you'd enjoy. It's quick, filling, and it's local Korean food. You must be creative! I order the combo with spicy pork and bulgogi. (I might try only spicy pork next time around..) I think officially I like it with egg, extra japchae, extra daikon, and no corn. + spicy gochuchong sauce on the side (which isn't even spicy? So annoying). The spicy pork is necessary to get flavor throughout the dish, as the rice and japchae have no seasoning. The japchae is cooked perfectly though and is delicious. I could probably do without the rice though. The bulgogi is good but not alone... it's dry and has a weird jerky flavoring to it. The eggs was also cooked perfectly Amazing service every single time. I have seen men touch their chest when ordering food and say that they are a B-Cup or C-Cup when ordering a B-Cup or C-Cup food. Very friendly staff who addressed me by name. What we got; K cup with the sweet and spicy + savory fried chicken. Jap chae noodles, corn, lettuce and pickled radish - the fried chicken is super crunchy, some pieces were juicy and a few others were dry. The sweet and spicy sauce has a tangy flavor to it. Spicy but not too bad (I'd say it's comparable to ~Thai mild), just enough to make your nose run and clear your nostrils. The savory chicken is just the fried chicken without the sauce. When I say fried chicken, they're like nuggets/large popcorn chicken-ish. Just my preference, i wish the pieces were cut smaller vs being big ol chunks. Combo cup with bbq chicken + bulgolgi, rice, jap chae noodles, lettuce, corn and fried egg - i didn't try the bbq chicken so I can't speak to that. The hubby didn't say anything about it so it was probably good as he'd for sure say something if it wasn't to his liking. The bulgolgi was good and almost had a Smokey-ish flavor to it.
