Formerly Silver Lake Ramen at the Veranda service was quick, cashier was very nice. Loved the seats were under the heat lamps as it was freezing that night. Ordered the rice plate with pork belly and spicy chicken. The rice was very overcooked and quite mushy. Which made the fattiness of the pork belly a really bad bite. The dressing on the green salad was really good. The Mac salad was lacking flavor. The Gyoza had a porky flavor that wasn't appealing at all.

Food tasted great here ! Tasty and hot pho but unfortunately I can't say the same about the service. Arriving to the restaurant there was no greeting back just a cold blank stare by cashier. There were no thank yous or you're welcome. It feels like you're ordering from a robot or something. Pho is good just not the customer service.

The pho and fried rice were delicious, but I didn't enjoy the Korean hot dog, which i ordered out of curiosity. Our order takes a little time because it's prepared fresh and served hot. We'll come back and try some different food from the menu. It's a cute little to-go food place.

I have been sitting here waiting for someone for 15 minutes I've seen 5 customers walk away - no one at the window but claim to be open - a sign of some sort would be helpful if away - we really wanted to try this place and drove 45 minutes.

I've only ever had Mrs. Pho brought to me, so I've never gotten to see what the inside looks like. BUT! The pictures on Yelp make it look cute. What I do know, is that they have an amazing vegan pho! It comes with a veggie broth, tofu, & tons of veggies: broccoli, cabbage, carrot, green onion, white onion, jalapeño, lime, bean sprouts, bell pepper, & cilantro. I topped it off with sriracha & it was to die for!

Mrs. Pho is a great little shop they you may not notice at first. Mrs Pho is located in the Veranda shopping center with only outside seating. The location is specifically next to pop bar and the children play structure. It's a great stop for a quick meal or snack while the kids play. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Whole I didn't have any questions, she did help the family before me with some small questions about the options and what they're made out of. My spouse and I ordered the King Pho and the House Pho. Both were excellent and had a nice flavor profile. The star anise was present and added the right amount of balance. The meat from both were very tender and tasty. They were out of basil which was unfortunate but reasonable on an extremely busy day. The only downside was that seating is limited and we had to sit next to the cotton candy machine which was less than enjoyable with an almost constant line of kids/teens/families who would gather on both sides of the table and ask to use our table to hold their stuff while they get cotton candy or record videos of it.

Went here by accident. My daughter was at Dave n busters and I was like not staying here! Walked over to see a few businesses and decided this was it. Strips were flavored and fries the good thick's ones. Egg rolls were yummy. It's a little spot u can eat outside and enjoy while getting fresh air. I'll for sure go back.

First time trying this small pho spot at Veranda. I got the Spicy pho and it's actually not bad at all. I enjoyed it and it was satisfying to me. The chili was pretty spicy that they put in. The service was ok, the lady that took our order didn't seem like she was happy to be there so that minus a star. I'd like to try other food next time to see if my review will increase. The 3 star is for the pho itself.

First of all, parking in the Veranda is always terrible on the weekend because there are so many people. If you can walk, park farther out or good luck trying to find something close by. This restaurant replaced the ramen place that used to be here and I may like this pho place better. I really wanted to try the king pho because I was curious about the big beef rib, but I got the spicy pho instead since it had more meat and I love spicy. Well, I guess my spice tolerance has gotten lower because on top of the broth being literally hot, the spice was pretty up there. My boyfriend also got the spicy pho and he was sweating LOL unfortunately, it was hard for me to actually taste the flavor of the broth because the spice was overpowering. I liked that there was shrimp, fish balls, meatballs, and brisket, but I thought it was all was a bit overcooked. The other thing with this place is you're not gonna get all of the side sauces that you would normally get at any other pho place. They just give you the hoisin sauce and I believe it's sriracha in tiny containers (not sure if it was sriracha but that's what it looked like). My boyfriend's aunt got the spring rolls, which we tasted and I thought was ok. The peanut sauce was a little watery. His dad got the chicken rice bowl, which we thought was actually pretty good. I liked the chicken because it had light breading but enough to be crispy on the outside. The sauce they put on the bowl was good too. Their portion sizing is pretty big so I'd say it's worth it for the price. I'd like to come back to try the classic or king pho. lol

This lady made a face at me when I told her the customer service sucked.

I have a hard time with people who are rude to children and are so cheap they couldn't bare lose out on the cost of giving a child a napkin. The manager was rude and lacked customer service. Not sure why this is in an area where children play if they don't like children. I recommend eating at better locations at the Veranda

Excellent taste! Fresh ingredients. I can't attest to the customer service because my order was sent to me by my sister. I am home sick with Covid. The dish opened up my sinus and made my tastebuds tingle!!! I will order again when I am feeling better so I can truly enjoy. Can't wait to try the other dishes!

I met my friends Sarah and David for dinner here on 11/04/2025. We walked in at 5:30pm and were immediately greeted by the lone female server, who seated us at a table towards to back of the restaurant. The interior was very clean, and lighting was soft and warm. The giant restaurant logos on the walls were prominently displayed. Their menu featured a wide array of appetizers, soups, bibimbaps, cold and hot noodles, meat dishes, etc. We opted against their signature kalbijjim and instead got three entrée combos (L.A. galbi, spicy pork, and bulgogi). Each entrée came with our choice of tofu soup. Half a dozen banchans were brought to us before the arrival of the entrées. The buchu (chives) and baechu (Napa cabbage) kimchi were excellent. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Portion wise, the tofu soups were of decent size, but the meat entrées were kind of stingy (they were served in small round skillets). I had the seafood tofu soup and it was very good. It was loaded clams, shrimp, and squid. We shared the entrées, and they all tasted great. The only gripe I had was a couple pieces of the galbi had very little meat on them. Service we received was great. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The total was somewhere around $130 (with a bottle of soju, a tangerine slushy, and a soda). Overall, we all thought the food was good. Return trip very likely. 4 stars. I've heard of Yi Ji Chang Fen but only tried it today. I've eaten so much dim sum in my lifetime, so my standard for dim sum may be higher. We came around 5PM on a Saturday and there wasn't anyone really there. It could be because dim sum feels more like a morning or lunch thing, or it could just be because we were there for a very early dinner. Between our party, we shared: - Marinated Chicken and Mushroom Rice Roll - Stuffed Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf - Steamed Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce - Black Gold Egg Custard Buns - Chicken Feet with Herbs - Dry Style Beef Chow Fun And one Honey Lemon Tea for me. The honey lemon tea was a comfort for the cold day. Maybe a bit too much honey, but still good for the throat during the dry season. The chow fun came first and surprisingly it was not bad. There was a bit of 'wok hey' there and it stands out as one of the better dishes we had. As for the rice roll - I wanted to try something less conventional and I've never seen chicken in rice rolls, so I thought it would be interesting to try. It was quite disappointing though. Their rice roll was bigger than normal in width so with rice rolls being a struggle to pick up already, the bigger size made it an even bigger struggle. Everything just slipped out of the rice roll and it wasn't evenly wrapped. There were some bunched up layers on the edges. I think the chicken just didn't pair that well either and it was lacking in ingredients. Maybe the more conventional rice rolls would be better. For the two types of chicken feet, I normally like the one in herbal soup. If made well, the chicken feet has a nice flavor to it. For Yi Fen's herbal chicken feet, their portion was pretty good, but flavor was less prominent. I enjoyed the chicken feet in black bean sauce more because the flavor was better. Lastly, for the stuffed sticky rice and black gold egg custard buns, I suspect that these are not made in-house, but rather store-bought. The sticky rice lacked ingredients and the rice was a little harder than if made fresh. And the perfectly shaped black buns with a golden brush stroke on top (which I've seen all over the internet) seemed too elevated-looking compared to everything else. I'm not the biggest fan of molten lava buns, but they came out nicely. I didn't have any, but the molten lava custard was pretty runny. All in all, an okay experience. Service was a bit lacking. I don't recommend the dim sum dishes, but if I happen to want congee, I may give this place another go. Apart from the dim sum and rice rolls, the noodles I glimpsed from other customers looked not bad. I wonder if other locations are better.
