There was so much meat & noodles that I couldn't finish... the broth was a bit darker than i'm use to meaning more fish sauce so if you like saltier pho this place is for you! What I loved: The A1 shrimp cake is home made at this restaurant. Actually made of chopped shrimp and well seasoned. It was flavorful and perfectly crispy. The other Pho restaurant I normally frequent in Concord doesn't serve home made shrimp cake like this. As for the #13, the broth was very flavorful and everything was perfectly cooked. First visit and the food was very tasty!! My daughter and I ordered the cold vermicelli with grilled pork & shrimp, I just had this with grilled pork. The pork was very tender and lots of flavor. We also ordered their vegetarian fried spring rolls, delicious! My granddaughter really enjoyed her Pho & their broth, oh my gosh soooooo good. Their Vietnamese coffee was excellent, great flavor. Food was fairly priced and perfect to eat on a cold, rainy day. I got the Bun Bo Hue, which was more of a Hue inspired Pho than anything. It was still tasty but it did not necessarily fit what I was expecting. The food itself came out fast and hot. The place itself is not the cleanest but I wasn't necessarily uncomfortable. Something i can make out of a ramen/noodle pack. The eggrolls were delicious and thats it. The lady took care of the people that came in after us, got their food before ours and we were waiting for 15 minutes. I tried to make eye contact and when she came over she didnt even apologize. I ordered spring rolls and she gave us something else. I was pissed i couldn't take a picture. If you want cheap, powdered tasting pho, you can come here for $12 a bowl. You can find this pho spot tucked away near the end of the Goodwill shopping center. The owners are really friendly and they keep the interior super clean. This broth is packed full of delicious flavor and then some. I love the fact that it isn't super salty or oily. The noods were perf. Egg noodles are my absolute favorite, and the ones here are firm and chewy. They load up their bowls with TONS of protein! Nice chunks of lean chicken, pork, and fish cake alongside plump-tastic shrimp. Finger-lickin', noodle sippin' GOOD!!! I ordered the large size and it was hearty and filling. For the price, you really can't beat it! Great flavors, great, quality, and nice portions for cheap. Also, let me not forget to give a little shoutout to that Thai iced tea right quick! Yes ma'am! It wasn't heart attack sweet (which is sadly how I actually prefer it), but it was just sweet enough. Could have used a tad bit less ice, but that's just me being picky I guess (it didn't taste watered down at all). They were a tad bit stingy with the garnishments for the pho, but the freshness of the vegetables and quality of the broth made up for that. I was seated right away and my order was taken not to long after I put the menu down to indicate to my server that I knew what I want. Placed my order and food was served within 10 minutes. At first glance, I noticed the broth was quite darker than I usually receive for pho and the taste was off. Next I noticed the large size seemed more like a medium. Normally the large pho bowls are a lot bigger. I usually order medium pho and get super full. I was able to finish the "large" and wasn't stuffed so it seems their sizes are kind of small. Regarding the service, it was somewhat mediocre. First, no one ever came to fill my water. I was choking on the chili oil at one point and still no one came to fill my water (and I was the only person there so it's not that hard to do). Next, the lady was refilling all the hoisin and sriracha sauces which is fine but she came to my table and took my hoisin and sriracha without even saying anything. Just a bit annoying as I'm still dining so why would you take the sauce while I'm still eating without asking me if I still want it or not. Really good seafood pho and veggie spring rolls! I've had both the egg and rice noodles in the seafood pho. Although I like both types of noodles, the rice noodles stick together to the point of being difficult to break up when assembling the soup contents together. I ended up throwing some of the rice noodles away for that reason. I'll just get the egg noodles when I order takeout and get the rice noodles when I dine in (which I hope to do when COVID cases go down). The container the broth is in seems small for all of the different contents of the soup so I end up losing some broth after mixing everything together. Got to go. It was pretty quick. They only give extra large for take out but it's not really what I would consider extra large. More like medium. The noodles were perfect. Not much guts. 3 tiny fish balls size of a tatter taut. 3 thin slices of a unidentified meat, 2 shrimp, 2 slices of fish patty that resembled spam. Unfortunately there was 4 small thin slices of pork. I ordered the wrong soup so I wound up with meat I didn't want but that's my problem. I gave it to the dogs. Gave all the guts to the dogs except the shrimp.I knew what that was. My other issue was the boiling hot liquid in the plastic Togo container. Hmmmmm.... So without a doubt there plastic toxins in the soup. Unfortunately until they come up with the reality that a $9 soup should not be charged $11 because it comes contaminated with plastic toxins, I won't be back. read more

Bun Bo Hue broth was so rich and flavorful, used the right type of vermicelli noodles (the thicker one) and they do give you a good amount of toppings with beef slices and some Vietnamese ham. I think it'd be better if they have some tendons with the noodle. The fish cake was ok, it might've been fried longer than enough so it was a bit dry. I dip them into the Bun Bo Hue broth and it tasted great again, but really want it to be less dry than it was. They solved my cravings for Bun Bo Hue. read more
