The best papaya salad of this area . We had papaya salad from other restaurants salted and less papaya.

Tucked in Park and Shop is this wonderful Vietnamese place that has all kinds of tasty treats! the restaurant is comfortable and clean and has chill music playing. Their BBQ Bahn Mi sandwich was delicious and was served on a great baguette. If you're looking for a flavorful sandwich this is you spot! The Pho is also very tasty with fresh garnishes and comforting broth. They also have great smoothies and boba. High recommend of you are in the area and want some Vietnamese food.

Really good Banh mi sandwiches for a reasonable price. Really light, airy and great flavors! Loved the pho and even after splitting a small one we had leftovers! Definitely a heart lunch spot. The service was also really good but not too much. Perfect comfort food on a chilly winter day.

This place is a little hidden. The sandwich had a sl good crunch a d lots of meat. The Eggrolls were perfectly cooks and was great with the lettuce and fish sauce. The spring rolls was good. Can't go wrong with spring rolls. Definitely would come back and try the pho to compare to Kevin's Noodle House which is around the ciorner

Cozy spot with ample choices for Vietnamese food. We tried the crab Rangoon, Vietnamese ice coffee, bun Bo hue, & a large pho dac biet w/egg noodle. Everything came out within 15 min of ordering which was great! Not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm either and staff were very friendly. We felt that our noodles in both dishes were cooked a bit too soft for our preference & the flavor of the bun Bo hue broth was on the lighter side and not spicy. Great portion sizes!

It's a decent banh mi that does the job! Around the concord area, there isn't many options and was craving for a banh mi. I was greeted by someone at the front who was super nice. Didn't take any pics of the interior but it looked like a good place to eat dine-inn. I ordered the grilled chicken banh mi and I noticed that there wasn't enough chicken or sauce for my liking but over decent banh mi.

Small Vietnamese restaurant with good food and awesome Service! The ambiance are OK average but overall good food service and right price for the food!

I was truly impressed with the customer service that Tam gave me. He went above and beyond--offering to package each banh mi sandwich in its own bag, helping me label what was in each one, and even offering to carry everything out to my car. I've honestly never experienced such thoughtful service. He was incredibly polite and kind. The sandwiches themselves were fantastic, especially for the price. Everyone I shared them with loved them--and that says a lot, because they're very picky when it comes to banh mi. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

It's been a while since I've tried this place since it is a little far from home but it still has the best Bun Rieu around (48. Tomato Noodle Soup with Tofu, Pork Patty and Mince Shrimp)! It is so fresh and has all the toppings for this complex but refreshingly delicious dish. I'll definitely be coming back more often for this :D

A decent Vietnamese restaurant with a variety of different dishes. It is hidden in the back/corner, so it's easy to miss, since most of the stores and other restaurants are facing the other way and this restaurant's main entrance is on the side building. We ordered cream cheese wontons and two rice plates. One grilled chicken rice plate and one pork chop rice plate combo. The combo includes one egg roll and fried egg. The rice plates come with a side of soup broth, which was really good. Everything came out to about $35-$37, which was a really good price for everything that we ordered! Also, considering how big the portions were as well! Bathrooms were out of toilet paper, napkin dispenser was out (had to request more napkins, but servers were very prompt). There was a fly that was buzzing around our table, which made it annoying and difficult to eat our meal. However, food was enjoyable and we would come back again if we're craving viet food!

we love coming here for banh mi! now i finally tried the Vietnamese crepe (#69) and wow!!! my new favorite. the menu has 2 options: shrimp and pork or vegetarian tofu. i asked if i can do shrimp and tofu, no pork and they were able to do it. this thing is huge!! and comes with a ton of fresh veggies to wrap it. the banh mi's are always great! fresh bread and tasty meat. will be back for more! also the staff is so friendly and attentive. food comes out quick. lots of seating inside.

Compared to other Viet places in this area- the food here is 5 STARS. (It would be fair to compare it to the Viet food in San Jose) Food here is authentic and probably one of the best Viet places in this area. The star dish here is banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe) with crispy pork belly and shrimp. It was good and very close to homemade, maybe even better than homemade since the batter is extra crispy and can't seem to ever get it that crispy at home. It comes with a large plate of lettuce and fresh herbs to wrap the crepe and dip into fish sauce. I highly recommend this dish here- either as a shared app or entree. Another noteworthy mention is the bun rieu (tomato and crab soup). It's decent. The broth is very flavorful, but definitely ask for more shrimp paste and sate sauce on the side if you want the authentic flavors.

The grilled pork sandwich (banh mi thi nuong - $8) was juicy with fresh and finely chopped daikon vegetables.

Ordered takeout from here earlier this week. Food arrived on time and was good. My favorite was the grilled pork sandwich (banh mi thi nuong - $8) - juicy with fresh and finely chopped daikon vegetables, but the ham, pate, headcheese and pork patty (banh mi thit nguoi -$8) was a close second - it reminded me of an Italian BLT, except with delicious daikon veggies. Will be back for more.

Ask the Community - Saigon Bistro

I just drove by and sign said Oda Sushi but still had pics of Bahn Mis in window. Is Saigon Bistro still open?

Yes, they are now a sushi/pho place!

Does anyone know how Saigon Bistro prepares the tofu in the vegetarian Banh mi? It's the best and I can't figure out how to make it!

Not sure how they make it specifically, but look up vietanamese restaurant style lemongrass tofu. That should give you an idea. Also, figure they probably add more seasoning than you would at home.… Read more

I walked in and ordered, they told me it would be about 15 minutes since they had three orders in front of mine. I went and sat in my car for about 8-10 minutes and went back in, my order was ready. So you'll walk up and order there. If you are eating there, they'll give you a number and you seat yourself, and they'll bring the food to your table. Water is self-service at the front. So we ordered two dishes to try - the noodle soup (pork) and the drunken noodles (chicken, mild). I thought both delicious were excellent, there was a lot of flavors and very delicious. I enjoyed everything. I felt like the restaurant feels like a good size but at the same time, it is a little small because the table are tables of 2-4 so it may be more cumbersome for a larger party. I imagine it can still work for a larger party by pushing tables together and using the stool/bench seating too. I didn't have any issue finding a spot to dine in for weekday lunch. I had to use the bathroom here, they are all-gender single stall restroom - surprisingly very clean. I was thrown off by the sinks which are located outside of the restroom instead of inside. Overall, it was a good experience and I definitely plan to re-visit when I am in this area!
