    Kids Mini Pancakes

On a Saturday afternoon, our family ventured to Sweet Maple for brunch. Closing at 2:30 and us arriving a little after 12:30p, we knew we would not be seated. The staff was very accommodating, extremely friendly and patient while we navigated with our little one. A coloring page and crayons were provided for our daughter with a kids menu attached. For her, we ordered mini pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. It was accompanied by fruit and a drink. She enjoyed her meal as hardly any remained - a big deal for her. My husband had the Savory Soufflegg Skillet ($26) with ciabatta bread and potato melody. The savory version consisted of shrimp, bacon and scallions. He devoured his meal, enjoyed every bite. For me, it was the Bay Bottom Omelette ($34) - a Dungeness crab omelette with fresh garlic, scallion, spinach and feta. The dish came with ciabatta bread and potato melody. There were whole, large pieces of crab overflowing my omelette. Sweet Maple did not skimp on the "bay" portion of that omelette. When we return, I'm ordering it again. To drink, he ordered a glass of the Chateau Bonnet, Bordeaux Blanc ($13) and I had Bottomless Italian Roast Coffee ($5). I appreciated their attentiveness, ensuring my coffee mug remained filled as long as I desired. We were provided space to enjoy while being well cared for to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return. The environment, establishment and people were all so welcoming and beautiful. It is a feel good spot to enjoy solo or with others. There was the option of indoor and outdoor seating, we chose indoors for the little person.

Great brunch spot in Walnut Creek. We were seated fast probably waited 15 minutes. You can put yourself on waitlist through yelp. Outdoor seating was great, looks like they are also dog friendly which is super nice. My husband ordered Short ribs pot its a bit on a sweeter side, he also ordered Truffle dirty coffee (we loved this) . I ordered Chicken Croffle with ube latte,I liked the latte I just wish I can taste the espresso a bit more. Fourstar because our coffee/latte came after our meal in fact we had to ask and follow up on it. Our server also did not really come back to check on us,we had to ask for water from other gentleman that was working. He was very nice though, It could be that it was busy. I will be willing to try and come back and try other things on the menu.

Came back as we were meeting friends half way and they mentioned they wanted to eat here. It had been a while so we thought we would give it another shot. The food is good. Drinks are good but the service in my opinion has not changed. If you want to come here and enjoy drinks and chat prob best not to. We were asked to pretty much leave because people were waiting.... I get it it's a busy day on Sunday but I was never told there was a time limit on your visit. We still had drinks and wanted to try others but after we were told that they had an hour wait for people and they were looking for tables so after that we did not want to stay. It is very popular and the food was good. Bacon is very good highly recommend.they seem to have people I know it's busy but you have to care about service. I had one napkin the whole time and one of our friends never got one. I know we should have asked but couldn't find out waitress. Overall foods good I can see why people come here but the service needs to be there for me and just can't seem to get that here.

We came here at around 8:30am on a Sunday for breakfast. Parking wasn't too bad at that time since it was so early but I can see it being very difficult later on especially with the farmers market nearby on Sundays. Since we were there so early we were able to get seated right away without reservations. Walking in my first impression is this restaurant is beautiful! It's professionally decorated/designed. We ordered the ube latte, matcha latte, marnier French toast, coconut moffle, and millionaires bacon. Service was great! Everything came out very quickly! The ube latte actually had a very strong ube taste and not just the brilliant purple color. And you could tell it was freshly prepared since it was still a tiny bit warm despite being an iced drink. The matcha came with cute latte art and was filled to the brim. The matcha was a good strength without crossing into overly earthy. The French toast had a very smoky flavor that reminded me of the smoke when a birthday candle is blown out. I don't know how they did that. It was a very unique flavor. The moffle was a very balanced and tasty dish. The Brie went well with the raspberries. The waffle had a nice chewy texture from the mochi. I didn't get a lot of coconut flavor but I still enjoyed it a lot! The millionaires bacon hit all the right notes for me. You have the saltiness, a kick of spiciness, some sweetness, etc. The only negative for me was the front door/entrance should stay closed more. There were some flies that distracted from the lovely experience. But that may not be completely possible given how popular they are there are probably a lot of people coming in and out at any given time. We left stuffed but without leftovers. It is a little pricier for breakfast. I think after tip it was around $100. So it was $50 per person. This is one of the best brunches I've had in a long time! I can't wait to come back and try their other items.

This spot has been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint! I made a reservation a few weeks in advance (highly recommend if you don't want to wait). We got there and didn't realize how scarce parking would be - took us a few rounds but we finally got a metered spot. Note, they will not seat you until your entire party is there. We opted to sit in the patio area as the restaurant was packed and a bit loud. We had a table that was perfectly shaded and great for us all to catch up without having to strain our voice. For gluten free options, our server recommended one of the omelets or scrambles. I ended up ordering the Frisco scramble with a side of fruit (not potatoes as they weren't gluten free) and a matcha latte. The matcha latte came out quick and was not too sweet which I appreciated. The scramble was absolutely delicious and the fruit tasted so fresh! We all enjoyed each of our meals. I would definitely come back to try other dishes! I would definitely

The food, drink, service, and ambiance at Sweet Maple in Walnut Creek were excellent. This is a great breakfast and brunch restaurant with five locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's popular and deservedly so. We visited the Walnut Creek location for a Saturday brunch at 10:15 AM. When we arrived, it was already packed with people waiting outside. You can book a reservation for this location with Yelp. The staff is fairly strict about an entire party being present before they can be seated. Our family brought a party of eight. Here's what I got to try on my side of the table: DRINKS Barista's Favorites * Oat Uji Organic Matcha ($9) - 1st harvest matcha grade, oat milk Mimosas & Spicy Friends * Millionaire's Mary ($16) - vodka, spicy housemade Bloody Mary mix, tajin rim, Millionaire's Bacon FOOD Small Bites * Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle ($16) - croissant waffle, burrata, blueberry marinated in Earl Grey and basil EVOO, housemade blueberry marmalade * Korean Fried Chicken ($16) - boneless crispy fried chicken chunks, hot and sweet gochujang sauce served on the side Millionaire's Bacon * Millionaire's Bacon ($15) - original; thick, free-range bacon, baked with brown sugar, cayenne, red and black pepper Benedict & Friends * Blackstone ($26) - poached eggs on ciabatta, served with potato medley; Millionaire's Bacon, asparagus, cherry tomato, Meyer lemon hollandaise, chive Kitchen Specials * Tornado Galbi Omurice ($26) - twisted scrambled egg over fried rice and vegetables, braised short rib, demi-glace scallion, pickled onion, chive, cherry pepper Maple Plates * Marnier French Toast ($18) - extra fluffy thick milk bread, bruleed on top, Grand Marnier cream batter; served with Maldon salt, pure maple syrup * Coconut Moffle with Brie ($21) - coconut mochi waffle, brie, housemade raspberry marmalade, raspberry, truffle honey dressing Everything was outstanding and high-quality all around. The ingredients were fresh and everything was plated and/or presented beautifully. This place is a well-oiled machine. If you've never had Sweet Maple's award-winning Millionaire's Bacon before, it's a must-try. And if you like Bloody Marys like me, their Millionaire's Mary is worth getting too. Just note it is legit spicy (and thick). Among the items listed above, my favorites were the Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle, the Korean Fried Chicken (they do it well), and the Coconut Moffle with Brie. However, your mileage may vary, so don't let that stop you from trying the other dishes (because I also loved the Blackstone Eggs Benedict and the Omurice). They just know how to make good food. Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and attentive, including the hostess, manager, and servers. I'd describe the atmosphere as "California contemporary." The restaurant space is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. As far as parking, we did metered parking on the street in front of nearby Caffe La Scala (N Main St).

French toast...not my favorite bit good nonetheless.

The food was really good!! The service was excellent which only added to the enjoyment of our celebration and I would come back to this place with other friends and my wife as well. I'll definitely be back for the millionaires bacon!!

Finically got to try this place on a weekday. It's not busy for a weekday lunch. We ordered the soufflé egg with bacon and sausage. Also the rib pot. Overall food is tasty and the soufflé egg is very soft. The rib pot is like a fusion type Korean bibimbap. The portion is huge. They are a bit pricy tho. Service was great. However, they need to do something with the flies in the restaurant.

Til' this day, Sweet Maple is still one of my Top 3 favorite brunch spots. It is easily one of the places to recommend to people for a good brunch spot. The only sacrifice is the wait times lol. FOOD: 9/10 SERVICE: 9/10 AMBIANCE: 10/10 FOOD: 9/10 I can always count on Sweet Maple for good quality brunch. Yes, it is slightly expensive, but you truly get what you pay for with taste, quality, and hearty portions. Their food is very flavorful and aesthetically cute. Their cafe drinks and alcoholic drinks are good as well. I will say my sister tried their Iced Matcha latte, and for some reason, it was very thick, almost like protein milk or thick oat milk? I found the quality of the matcha to be good, but the milk itself was very interesting... SERVICE: 9/10 Staff are always nice, no matter which location I go to. They are pretty quick too, despite the busy times, and also, check up now and then. AMBIANCE: 10/10 Every Sweet Maple location I have been to is honestly very nice, clean, and one of those "Instagrammable" places.

This one is located in Walnut Creek. There is metered street parking outside of the restaurant however, there is also a parking garage nearby which is walking distance to here. So, it was my first time having brunch here. We came 30 mins after they opened and they're already getting busy. But we didn't have to wait. We were seated right away. The food was amazing! I really loved the Tornado Galbi Omurice. But actually I loved everything we ordered. Me and my friends ordered a few things and shared everything. We also ordered the Marnier French Toast, which had a sort of brûlée topping it was crispy and sweet, I loved it. And we had the Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Millionaire's Candy (bacon). OMG that bacon had the right amount or sweetness. Salty and crispness. It went very well with everything we ordered. For drinks I had the Ube Latte and the other girls had Coconut Chai latte. I'm glad I ordered a latte versus a regular coffee. Now, the ambiance; it looks very classy but not intimidating. I love the light fixtures. No complaints on customer service. Our server was really nice and move quickly. I can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu.

If bacon had a hall of fame, Sweet Maple would definitely be in it. I can see why this place is so popular. The bacon was hands down the star of the meal. crispy, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I've had. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was great from start to finish. I also loved the atmosphere. The restaurant feels bright, open, and airy, making it a really enjoyable place to sit and enjoy a meal. It has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Great food, great service, and amazing bacon. I'll definitely be back.

We came for Mother's day and the service did not disappoint. Smiling faces, attentive, and the food was good. We both had the chicken and waffles and mimosas. Thanks for a great experience.

I worked from the barstools for about an hour and a half. After the breakfast rush had passed, I noticed plenty of open tables along the wall. Since I had thrown out my back this week and desperately needed more support, I moved to one of them. The sign said the table was reserved for up to two hours for customers who ordered food. Great--I had ordered food and had only been sitting there for about an hour. Nope. The same barista who took my order approached me to explain that the table was reserved for customers who ordered food. When I reminded her that I had, she asked what I ordered--as if she hadn't personally rung me up. She then told me I needed to return to the backless barstool. I challenged this because it made absolutely no sense. There were plenty of open tables, I was a paying customer and I was within the posted two-hour limit. She simply repeated that it was the policy. To be clear, the problem isn't that the policy was poorly communicated. The policy should not exist in the first place. Kicking a paying customer out of an empty chair and directing them back to a barstool is a horrible business model that lacks basic respect and hospitality. I left angry, embarrassed and regretting the money I spent here. I will absolutely not be returning.

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars.
