The fresh-squeezed orange juice was delicious, and the Million Dollar Bacon was perfect for sharing and balanced the meal really well. The potatoes were crispy but still light and very tasty. S E R V I C E We arrived without joining the waitlist at brunch time so we were worried about having a long wait because we had an activity scheduled 2 hours later and there was already a couple of folks standing outside. The moment I touched the iPad to join the waitlist, a waitress asked how many people in our party to which my BFF and I responded, "two" and we were whisked away and seated promptly! Fantastic! During our meal, several waiters checked in on us and made sure we had ordered or if we wanted anything else! Detailed and friendly service. I also thoroughly enjoyed their namesake omelette; it was a big portion too. What stole the show was the earl grey croffle!! A light crunchy yet soft croissant waffle with burrata(!!) blueberries marinated in Earl grey(!!) & basil extra virgin olive oil and their housemade blueberry marmalade was such a strange combination to imagine but a beautiful taste experience. A M B I A N C E The decor and open dining area with its glass windows make the area feel airy and inviting. It's a very aesthetic vibe inside. There is chatter and laughter but nothing excessive, except the second time when we were seated by a table with unruly children, though that is no fault of the establishment, just the parents. Sweet Maple is one of my favorite places to get brunch, and it's one of my go-to's in the Walnut Creek area! I love their crispy potatoes, and their souffleggs are so good and fluffy. The eggs have a nice savory umami flavor, and it tastes really flavorful on its own, even if you don't get a bite with any of the mix ins. Their Millionare's bacon is also really good, and as someone who doesn't normally like bacon, this is one I actually enjoy. It's sticky, crispy, and thick cut. Their crispy brussels sprouts are really unique, and they have little fried rice cakes that provide a fun, chewy texture. Although a little pricey, the short rib pot with tender beef, a slightly spicy kimchi sauce, and fresh mushrooms and tomatoes is another standout. The ambiance is really cute with a large skylight and natural lighting, and it's a great place to get brunch with friends and family. For her, we ordered mini pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. It was accompanied by fruit and a drink. She enjoyed her meal as hardly any remained - a big deal for her. My husband had the Savory Soufflegg Skillet ($26) with ciabatta bread and potato melody. The savory version consisted of shrimp, bacon and scallions. He devoured his meal, enjoyed every bite. For me, it was the Bay Bottom Omelette ($34) - a Dungeness crab omelette with fresh garlic, scallion, spinach and feta. The dish came with ciabatta bread and potato melody. There were whole, large pieces of crab overflowing my omelette. Sweet Maple did not skimp on the "bay" portion of that omelette. When we return, I'm ordering it again. To drink, he ordered a glass of the Chateau Bonnet, Bordeaux Blanc ($13) and I had Bottomless Italian Roast Coffee ($5). I appreciated their attentiveness, ensuring my coffee mug remained filled as long as I desired. We were provided space to enjoy while being well cared for to ensure we had everything we needed. We came here at around 8:30am on a Sunday for breakfast. Parking wasn't too bad at that time since it was so early but I can see it being very difficult later on especially with the farmers market nearby on Sundays. Since we were there so early we were able to get seated right away without reservations. Walking in my first impression is this restaurant is beautiful! It's professionally decorated/designed. We ordered the ube latte, matcha latte, marnier French toast, coconut moffle, and millionaires bacon. Service was great! Everything came out very quickly! The ube latte actually had a very strong ube taste and not just the brilliant purple color. And you could tell it was freshly prepared since it was still a tiny bit warm despite being an iced drink. The matcha came with cute latte art and was filled to the brim. The matcha was a good strength without crossing into overly earthy. The French toast had a very smoky flavor that reminded me of the smoke when a birthday candle is blown out. I don't know how they did that. It was a very unique flavor. The moffle was a very balanced and tasty dish. The Brie went well with the raspberries. The waffle had a nice chewy texture from the mochi. I didn't get a lot of coconut flavor but I still enjoyed it a lot! The millionaires bacon hit all the right notes for me. You have the saltiness, a kick of spiciness, some sweetness, etc. The only negative for me was the front door/entrance should stay closed more. There were some flies that distracted from the lovely experience. But that may not be completely possible given how popular they are there are probably a lot of people coming in and out at any given time. We left stuffed but without leftovers. It is a little pricier for breakfast. I think after tip it was around $100. So it was $50 per person. This is one of the best brunches I've had in a long time! This spot has been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint! I made a reservation a few weeks in advance (highly recommend if you don't want to wait). We got there and didn't realize how scarce parking would be - took us a few rounds but we finally got a metered spot. Note, they will not seat you until your entire party is there. We opted to sit in the patio area as the restaurant was packed and a bit loud. We had a table that was perfectly shaded and great for us all to catch up without having to strain our voice. For gluten free options, our server recommended one of the omelets or scrambles. This one is located in Walnut Creek. There is metered street parking outside of the restaurant however, there is also a parking garage nearby which is walking distance to here. So, it was my first time having brunch here. We came 30 mins after they opened and they're already getting busy. But we didn't have to wait. We were seated right away. The food was amazing! I really loved the Tornado Galbi Omurice. But actually I loved everything we ordered. Me and my friends ordered a few things and shared everything. The restaurant is beautiful. Outside makes you feel like you're on a vacation.... And inside makes you feel like you've just arrived at your destination of a hotel lobby on vacation. So far, everyone has been amazing and I've been three times almost in a row with different people every time. Funny I visited a sweet maple at a different location. Didn't like it and was skeptical on going to this one so I put it off for a few years until recently and I'm so happy I showed up. I really think they have one of the best cappuccino's. The best kimchi. And the best brussels sprouts I've ever had. But of course call me bias that's my personal opinion. My family now looks forward to trying it again for lunchtime. I've had the Ramen, the stone pot, brussels sprouts.... Drinks chicken, and Croffle and a few others. They have a patio also. The servers are really engaging and it appeared that it didn't matter who took your order everyone would check in on you. A well deserved 5 star rating. I took my friend here for a birthday brunch and we had the best time, the best food/drinks and the best service. We got the bottomless mimosas and I loved the curocao one the best. I could only have 2.5 because I had to drive. But they were strong! And we had to go somewhere else by foot so I could sober up. I am not a fan of bacon but I tried a bite of the million dollar bacon and it WAS very good. By the waitress' recommendation I got the moconut waffles and when it arrived, I thought oh boy that won't fill me up and it looked so plain. Once I took the first bite I was in heaven. I ate slowly to savor every amazing bite and I was very full when I finished. My friend will order this the next time she's here too. She got the omelette which sounded good and was good enough, but it was overcooked in our opinion (for me, the Korean steamed egg is so much wetter and less cooked). The waitress took time to talk to us and we learned the owners are Korean. No wonder there are so many Korean inspired dishes. I will definitely be back and bring my family. They will love it. And I want to meet the owners. Lol. P.S. the nearest parking lot is Growers and sad to say they charged me twice, once for the right amount of $16.99 and another charge of $8.99. I disputed this with my credit card but what an annoying waste of my time. And plus I might not have noticed if I weren't looking at my bill for something else. We came on a Saturday around noon- there was a little wait- maybe 15 minutes. We opted to sit outside and I wish I took a picture but both the interior and patio were so pretty! Plenty of parking surrounding also. They also have a mist every 10ish minutes if it's hot which was refreshing. Sadly- I forgot to take photos- which is actually a plus because what we got was so yummy. Recommend- the Bacon flight. This was my first time every trying the millionaire's bacon and this flight was such an experience for my tastebuds. If you've watched Ratatoullie I felt like Remi 100%. We shared the short ribs pot - 3.5/5. It was good but not necessarily standout. We were also yapping a lot and so our food got cold because we ate this last so take that into consideration. We came here for my birthday brunch and truly enjoyed our experience. The servers were very nice, attentive, and welcoming, which made the visit even more special. The food was good overall, but the highlight for me was definitely the French fries -- honestly some of the best I've had in years! They were perfectly fried, well salted, and super crunchy. First of all, the ambiance is amazing! It's so well decorated and gram worthy! We had a reservation on a Monday for brunch. We were seated quickly. Right away, we noticed that the service was very slow. The wait staff was doing the best they can - we later found out that couple of people called in sick. My friend ordered the Tiffany Blue mimosa $13 with curaçao and brut. It was very blue - good but nothing unique or exciting. I had coffee which was great! We ordered millionaire's bacon. 2 strip for $15. Very good - I have a friend who makes this for parties and their version is great too! I had the florentine eggs Benedict $22. They do egg Bennies on ciabatta bread. Lots of sautéed spinach and lemony hollandaise sauce. Shaved Grana Padano and fresh chives on top. Very good but I prefer English muffin egg Bennies. Served with roasted potatoes. My friend had fried chicken croffle $26. Fried chicken stacked on croissant waffle with a side of fresh fruit. The food was presented beautifully and the taste was great, not outstanding. Again, very good for pictures! read more

The reservation system didn't seem to be working but the que went faster than advertised. Servers were quick and professional even when facing guests with challenging children. The place was clean and modern without getting too loud. Table placement was tight but not impinging on others. It is reasonably well layed out The food is really the star of the show. The chicken waffles was really exceptional. The fried chicken certainly gives Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc a run for the money. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The millionaire bacon is certainly as good as advertised. I had the Tornado Galbi Omurice and it was tender and delicious. I was amazed at the portion accuracy. We were both full and didn't need carry out boxes. I also wanted to mention the iced tea was brewed, not instant, and was really good as well. Sweet Maple was a great breakfast restaurant overall and I'd be interested in trying more dishes they offer. We had the 2 egg breakfasts to try their famous Millionaire Bacon as seen on TV. For drinks we had the classic Mimosa and their Espresso Martini and they came out pretty quick and so did the food. Service was good, we came when it wasn't very busy so I guess we got lucky to get seated right away. Parking is the main difficulty in the area. Outside on the patio is was quiet and relaxing. Ratings: Parking 1/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Drinks 5/5 Millionaire Bacon 3/5 Potato Medley 4/5 Eggs 5/5 Toast 5/5 Personally wouldn't order the Millionaire Bacon again, it was very much like an asian sweet chili pork belly type of bacon style.. the flavor was good but it was served barley warm. Not sure if that's how they serve it normally but I'd just prefer it to come out hot like the rest of the plate. Next time I'd get regular bacon cause the quality of the bacon is definitely 5 out of 5. Mostly the temperature preference for me brings it down a notch. Drinks here are great amazing though!
