My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and the chicken and waffles, while I got the huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs. We both really loved our food! The biscuits and gravy were absolutely delicious, and I loved my huevos rancheros. The red sauce was especially delicious and really brought the dish together. Our only gripe was with the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but the pieces were pretty large, which made it difficult to get a cohesive bite with the waffle. The fact that the chicken wasn't boneless made it a little harder to eat together as well. Smaller, boneless pieces of chicken would make the dish much easier to enjoy. I love their salmon Benedict! So yummy. I also love their country potatoes when they make them crispy. However this time I asked for crispy potatoes and ordered this for pickup -and it didn't turn out well. When I picked the order up the potatoes were definitely not even slightly crispy. They took them back to the kitchen. Then minutes later returned saying they had remade them and this time with crispy potatoes. Great. All is well. No. I should have looked at them but instead took them at their word. Once home I opened the box and it appeared they had simply microwaved the whole meal. Salmon and eggs were now way overcooked. Cute little bistro with friendly, attentive staff and yummy food! My son has lived in the nearby apartment complex for two years, but we have never eaten here. I stopped in for lunch and to wait for my son to get off work. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I ordered the California burger with a side salad and was amazed at the huge portions. The burger was fantastic! The salad was also very good. On top of the wonderful food, the staff were so kind. I was hauling a large suitcase around with me and the temperature outside rose to over 100°. They let me stay and sip iced tea for two hours before they closed at 3 PM. I asked my own waitress again and she apologized for it never coming out (I thought that's why a waitress brings out your food, so they can also see if something is wrong with it before it reaches your table)-she brings me out a bowl of sour cream So I took the bowl And went to a third waitress and asked is this Chantilly cream and she says no that's sour cream So I asked for it again and another bowl of sour cream comes out Third waitress talks to owner who comes out to me and I show her on google what Chantilly cream really is and ask her to talk to her chefs about revising the menu bcuz it's misleading offering Chantilly Apparently the cream is mixed with something called Melba? A raspberry sauce...so I guess customers have not noticed the difference in the past or something...as a result, by itself, I DID notice... Anywho, no my waitresses fault, actually the fault of the chef/cook in the back. But owner shouldd know what that is before putting it on menu for people to order. Chicken Apple Sausage from the classic breakfast eggs which comes with three farm eggs any style, country potatoes and your choice of sourdough, wheat or rye toast. I was little disappointed with my dish, I asked for scrambled eggs it didn't look like it & the portion size of egg didn't feel like it was made of 3 eggs... But the chicken apple sausage was very good it had the kick of jalapeño which I enjoyed it very much. My husband very happily shared his 1 poached egg with me seeing my egg portion. Came here on President's Day morning and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table of 4. Service was great when we first sat down - drinks served immediately, orders were taken as soon as we were ready, etc. However, when we got our food, our server kind of disappeared and was hard to track down for more water and another soda. Food was typical for an American breakfast restaurant. I will say the portion sizes were HUGE! I'm not used to 3 eggs for an eggs Benedict, but size did not take away from flavor and I was definitely full after. My friend got the Crab Benedict and mentioned that she liked that they used real crab. There's a full bar inside, but I never saw a drink menu. Price was insane for the crepes, very overpriced at $24. Almost the most expensive thing on the menu, double the price of the pancakes, and didn't even get that much. Aside from the price and serving size, the crepes were pretty good but not any better than one from nearby creperies. The second was a bit burnt from the hot plate, but no big deal. We split the corned beef hash Benedict. It had a great texture, definitely homemade. Well crisped. They even split the plate for us and added an extra egg so we both had 2 (instead of the 3 it usually comes with). They charge $2 for the split plate. I think you get a bit of extra potatoes too. Potatoes also were HOT, well seasoned, good texture (soft in the inside, crispy on the outside). We also got the chicken apple cheese jalapeño sausage which was good. I thought it was a nice level of spice, it was a bit too spicy for my friend though who considers herself kind of a wimp when it comes to spicy. They're really quick too. At first I was worried because it wasn't packed around 9:30 on a Saturday, but I think that was the reason. It was a bit pricey. Came to $50 with tax and 20% tip which was with splitting. Stopped by for breakfast. This is a typical diner feel, where you grab your menu and seat yourself. A gracious waitress approached me after a couple minutes, there were only 3 tables occupied. I sat down and within 10 minutes there were 11 tables occupied with parties anywhere from 2-5 people. Downside is that there was only one server, so she was busy. Later as they got busier someone came from the back with a teenage girl to help run food and clean tables. Good move. It took the waitress a while to circle back with me so I had to wave at her. Nevertheless she was gracious, responsive and very kind. I saw her apologize to a table letting them know the table next to them was "first" and while that's not an ideal scenario, she did it kindly that those in the receiving end were grateful for feeling acknowledged. Food came about 15 mins later, which wasn't bad. I felt I waited longer to place the order than I did to get the food. The dish was fresh, high quality and very tasty. I ordered the chilaquiles and I added the chorizo per her recommendation. This was a good choice. I don't regret it. It's a large dish so I don't think I'll finish it but that's my problem not theirs. Coffee refill came quick, some tables got neglected but I think everyone understood she was busy. One patron stood up to the counter to close his bill. Anyway, would I come back? Yes, and I'll bring my family so I can see what other dishes would look like. Heavenly bistro is kind of a hole in the wall type of place nestled in a strip mall with some non-food shops like a nail place. I arrived around 930a on a Friday morning and there were around 15 people total inside, a lot of empty tables. It filled up a little more around 1015. However, parking was hard. Lots of groups of friends were dining there-- several groups of young men, and as I entered a group of young women left. Inside the restaurant is interesting. Pop music plays at a medium volume. It's clean but not sparkling clean. The tables are a little sticky. The chairs are a little worse for wear; one wood chair at my table was taped in several places with masking tape. They are storing their excess bread in the dining area, as well as cups, coffee, water, and silverware. It's well organized. The menu is large, and the average price per item is at least $17. I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk for $4, so they didn't give me whipped cream and instead did a dusting of cinnamon which I thought was a nice little thing to do instead. It was creamy and milk-chocolatey. It arrived steaming hot. I also ordered the california omelette for $18 and asked them to replace the toast with fruit (since I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten/bread/wheat). I also asked for the sour cream on the side. So far I have modified everything in my order and the waitress is UNFAZED and happy to help. I appreciated that a lot. The omelette took less than ten minutes to come out. The omelette was stuffed full of chicken, spinach, and cheese, with a salsa on top that has a mild kick. It had three slices of avocado. One thing to note is that though they list this as an egg-white-only omelette, it did appear to also have yolk. That doesn't really matter to me but it might matter to others. Everything was just SEASONED. Like everything had flavor. If you're sensitive to spice I'd let them know because there's a very subtle kick to everything. All the fruit they gave me was ripe. In terms of the potatoes, I'm not usually a potato person (controversial I know). But these potatoes were good. They're crispy and really well seasoned, garlicky and stuff. They have a large assortment of jams (orange marmalade, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry). They have a good assortment of hot sauces-- Tabasco, tapatio, and a local californian brand called the pepper plant. The prices are definitely justified in the portions. I was full after eating about half. When I went to pay I realized-- nightmare-- I forgot my entire wallet. I asked if they had Apple Pay and they did, thank goodness. They were gracious and really nice. Was not the best food in the world but the service was nice and the food came fast. Would come back! read more

As always the food and service doesn't disappoint! I went there with my brothers which one of them visits the restaurant frequently. I don't live in Walnut Creek but if I did, I will go more often. I don't have pictures of the food because I was on a very intense conversation with my brothers but their steak and eggs looked amazing and they said it was delicious. Our server, we almost wanted to ask her to sit with us because she was just a sweetheart :) they went out of their way to please my brother and make him a Vietnamese coffee that by the way it was yummy. Found this place leaving the spa business a few doors down. It was raining, but a small crowd outside waiting for tables. I went inside and sat at the bar. Lovely bartender helped me decide a meal. Menu slightly extensive so hard to decide. I ordered the seafood cobb salad. It came topped with lump crab, grilled prawns, bleu cheese crumbles, avocado, onions, eggs.. fantastic for $23! I topped it off with a Cadillac margarita, an espresso martini shot from others, and a shot from the bartender, cheering on new year 2025! And.. caught the NFL game on the bars TV. At this visit, we signed in at the front door and the waitress told us that the wait was only 15 minutes, so we had the kids wait inside the car while we were waiting to hear our name called. We also ordered a Dungeness crab Benedict with country potatoes. and we ordered a kids pasta, linguine Alfredo, and a bloody Mary. The kids loved the linguine alfredo. As for the Benedicts and the corned beef hash, they all were okay, but all of them lacked flavor. For the corned beef, the meat was tender, it just didn't really taste like anything. It kind of tasted more like the mushrooms that were sprinkled throughout the dishes. You have to be patient if you come on a weekend. Once you are sitting, the experience is usually good. The Eggs Benedicts are delicious! An egg benedict dish here is usually my go to dish for breakfast. I've also had their egg croissant which is pretty good and breakfast burritos. The country potatoes that come with the breakfast dishes are really good. We've also had pancakes which are nothing special but the French toast is a must have here. The matcha latte and chai tea latte are delicious as well! You can't grow wrong with those two. For lunch, they have a good chicken bbq sandwich and a good burger.
