    2-Egg Traditional Breakfast Platters
    Kev H.

Food: the food was really good. We really liked their hash brown. Both of us got the 2-egg traditional breakfast platters - one with breakfast sausages, and another one with bacon. Both were delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked to our specification (over easy). My breakfast sausages were nicely charred on the outside, but still juicy and plump on the inside. The hash brown was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Each platter also came with toasts, and they provided a plentiful amount of jam/preserves on the table. I really also liked the fact that the eggs and potato were not overly seasoned, which is super great for people with salt sensitivity. Salt and pepper were made available on each table. Price: very reasonable. Each breakfast platter ranged from $10 - $15, as of February 2024. Service: the waitress who manned our table was really friendly, sweet, and nice. And the service was really quick. Ambience: the inside of the restaurant was a bit on the small side, but it was cozy. It was also nice and clean. The restaurant itself could probably contain 10 to 15 people total. But they do have more outdoor tables and seating.

Ham , Bacon , Or Sausage , And 2 Eggs

I got a standard breakfast of sausage, 2 eggs, hash brown, and sourdough bread. It was a big portion and we'll made. Hash brown were crispy and the sausage was juicy! This mom and pop shop is a humble traditional diner. There is so much love and care in the food.

Love this place . Haven't tried too many things but I am loving the breakfast sandwich. The stuff is reasonably priced . I just wished they toasted the bread instead of the bread being soft. The menu is straight forward . They will have you in and out in no time!

Food when arrived was cold, small portions for the price you pay. Service is friendly but for the money you pay go somewhere else.

On all 3 occasions I've gone to this establishment, they have either run out of certain types of bread or certain deli meats. So then when I call ahead of time, nobody answers the phone...ever. and because they're always out of something, I always have to change my initial order. And then when they say, why didn't you call? I let them know that I did, but nobody ever answers. This leaves me credibly frustrated, and for that reason, I give them a 3. I do enjoy the Italian sub, the Reuben and the classic peppered, Turkey sandwich. They are also very fairly priced. As a whole experience, I give them a 3. I'm hoping when they move to Pleasant Hill. It'll be a little bit better.

I came to visit this place after having lunch next door, and decided to buy a couple of bottles of…read morebarbecue spices and a half rack of ribs to go. One of the ladies at the counter was kind enough to explain subtle taste differences between the spice bottles, there are actual dry rub spices and there are bottles of barbecue sauce in different sublime flavors. There is a very long front counter at the meat/deli with different side dishes which traditionally accompany the barbecued meats, such as a counter with cooked meats to order to eat, a counter of deli meats and cheeses, plus a counter of raw meats to purchase to take meat home in order to do your own barbecuing or baking at home. Various shoppers were buying food to eat there, the place has several small tables along the interior walls to sit down and eat, other people bought meat to go, either the already barbecued meat, or raw meat or deli meat to go. I tried out the tequila lime half rack of ribs, which I brought home for dinner. It was tasty, nicely barbecued and seasoned, and does go perfectly with whatever sides you choose to buy. There are plenty of choices if you feel like buying barbecue or deli, especially when you don't feel like prepping the grill outside for your barbecued meals. This is also a place you can cater for a large party, there's a catering menu where you can pre-order your meats, whatever you'd want to serve when you're planning to entertain your guests or tail gate. I would come here again if I'm in the area, having barbecue without cooking is a very good choice, especially if you're too lazy to fire up the barbecue pit at home. There is plenty of parking at the lot available locate in the front of the store. Do try Kinder's if you're wanting to take a break from driving the long 680 freeway in the SF East Bay, it's a little off the beaten track for just a few miles, but if you live in the East Bay, it's a drive completely worth it in order to avoid cooking barbecue yourself!

Massive portion too; I was full for hours. What really stood out was the excellent customer service. The whole team was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The shop itself is super clean and tidy, with good seating, nice music playing, and spotless, well-stocked bathrooms, little details that make a big difference.
