S E R V I C E We arrived without joining the waitlist at brunch time so we were worried about having a long wait because we had an activity scheduled 2 hours later and there was already a couple of folks standing outside. The moment I touched the iPad to join the waitlist, a waitress asked how many people in our party to which my BFF and I responded, "two" and we were whisked away and seated promptly! Fantastic! During our meal, several waiters checked in on us and made sure we had ordered or if we wanted anything else! Detailed and friendly service. The second time I visited we got on the waitlist half an hour before arriving and were seated within 15 minutes of arriving. The only thing is since there is a long waitlist on Sundays, long conversations aren't very possible without various staff frequently intervening to ask if you want boxes to go... even if you're still chewing. I do understand it's to keep groups cycling through so that everyone can enjoy a meal here. F O O D My friend wanted to try various appetizers so she ordered the Korean fried chicken, crispy brussel sprouts, and earl grey croffle. I ordered the sweet maple omelette. The Korean fried chicken was great, with its wonderful crunch and flavorful hint of spice. The brussel sprouts were indeed delicately crispy as described and tasty; I couldn't stop eating them! I also thoroughly enjoyed their namesake omelette; it was a big portion too. What stole the show was the earl grey croffle!! A light crunchy yet soft croissant waffle with burrata(!!) blueberries marinated in Earl grey(!!) & basil extra virgin olive oil and their housemade blueberry marmalade was such a strange combination to imagine but a beautiful taste experience. I would have never considered adding burrata cheese with basil evoo and earl grey blueberries to a croffle but I am grateful to the skilled chef who did at this restaurant! I can't wait to come back just for this very delicious appetizer/dessert. D R I N K S My BFF ordered a coffee and I ordered the hot coconut cream latte. The coconut cream latte was dreamy and sweet. I have also tried the iced Ube latte on another visit and it was good but not as good as the coconut cream latte. It needed a touch of something else to balance the sweetness of the Ube, not sure what really. I am intrigued by the floral tonic espresso so I'll try that on my next visit! A M B I A N C E The decor and open dining area with its glass windows make the area feel airy and inviting. It's a very aesthetic vibe inside. There is chatter and laughter but nothing excessive, except the second time when we were seated by a table with unruly children, though that is no fault of the establishment, just the parents. This for sure a great place for a brunch with the girlies or a date post farmers market. Just make sure to get on the waitlist via Yelp to plan your visit ahead of time! This place is always busy, as it should be!! P A R K I N G Parking was slightly difficult to find since the farmers market was also going on at this time when we visited on a Sunday late morning but we were able to find paid street parking within 5 minutes. I would recommend planning for some extra time to find parking if you're coming on a Sunday (due to the farmers market). The second time I went on a Sunday around 11 am it took me 10 minutes to find parking and I got lucky since it was someone leaving the farmers market. Also please note that the farmers market closes the streets that Google Maps will try to take you through to get here.
Sweet Maple is one of my favorite places to get brunch, and it's one of my go-to's in the Walnut Creek area! I love their crispy potatoes, and their souffleggs are so good and fluffy. The eggs have a nice savory umami flavor, and it tastes really flavorful on its own, even if you don't get a bite with any of the mix ins. Their Millionare's bacon is also really good, and as someone who doesn't normally like bacon, this is one I actually enjoy. It's sticky, crispy, and thick cut. Their crispy brussels sprouts are really unique, and they have little fried rice cakes that provide a fun, chewy texture. Although a little pricey, the short rib pot with tender beef, a slightly spicy kimchi sauce, and fresh mushrooms and tomatoes is another standout. The ambiance is really cute with a large skylight and natural lighting, and it's a great place to get brunch with friends and family. Service is always on point, and you should come here if you enjoy food that not only looks cute and aesthetic but also tastes really good!
A friend offered to take me out for a birthday brunch and asked if I had any suggestions. I told her as long as they have breakfast brussel sprouts I'm in this was my second time going to Sweet Maple in WC. In my opinion this place is the premier breakfast/brunch location in all of Walnut Creek. Maybe it's because the brussel sprouts or maybe it's the million dollar bacon but it's definitely my favorite. I went all out and got the French toast and an espresso martini, (breakfast of champions!). Both were really good. Love this place
The food wasn't bad, just a little overpriced in my opinion. The highlight for me was definitely the flavored bacon! I absolutely loved it! The place has a really cute ambiance and a nice vibe. I came with a few friends to celebrate a birthday, and we enjoyed ourselves. Overall, it's a cute little spot, and I would definitely go back again!
Love the ambience! very nice atmosphere and interior design and seating. servers were quite professional and punctual. We waited for an hour with our reservation, granted we came on a Sunday. I got the short rib omurice plate. It was very delicious and consistency of the egg and the Wagyu short rib was tender fluffy . taste and flavor was good. A little more salt would've been a little more ideal although I Highly recommend.
This was our first time at Sweet Maple. The restaurant's modern design is clean and nice (tables are very close though). The food was AMAZING! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Our items arrived quickly and the server was great - sharing pictures and explaining the dishes that others were eating nearby. We had an overall great experience and we'll certainly visit again. *Plus* Walnut Creek street parking is so affordable, if you can find any.
On a Saturday afternoon, our family ventured to Sweet Maple for brunch. Closing at 2:30 and us arriving a little after 12:30p, we knew we would not be seated. The staff was very accommodating, extremely friendly and patient while we navigated with our little one. A coloring page and crayons were provided for our daughter with a kids menu attached. For her, we ordered mini pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. It was accompanied by fruit and a drink. She enjoyed her meal as hardly any remained - a big deal for her. My husband had the Savory Soufflegg Skillet ($26) with ciabatta bread and potato melody. The savory version consisted of shrimp, bacon and scallions. He devoured his meal, enjoyed every bite. For me, it was the Bay Bottom Omelette ($34) - a Dungeness crab omelette with fresh garlic, scallion, spinach and feta. The dish came with ciabatta bread and potato melody. There were whole, large pieces of crab overflowing my omelette. Sweet Maple did not skimp on the "bay" portion of that omelette. When we return, I'm ordering it again. To drink, he ordered a glass of the Chateau Bonnet, Bordeaux Blanc ($13) and I had Bottomless Italian Roast Coffee ($5). I appreciated their attentiveness, ensuring my coffee mug remained filled as long as I desired. We were provided space to enjoy while being well cared for to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely return. The environment, establishment and people were all so welcoming and beautiful. It is a feel good spot to enjoy solo or with others. There was the option of indoor and outdoor seating, we chose indoors for the little person.
Great brunch spot in Walnut Creek. We were seated fast probably waited 15 minutes. You can put yourself on waitlist through yelp. Outdoor seating was great, looks like they are also dog friendly which is super nice. My husband ordered Short ribs pot its a bit on a sweeter side, he also ordered Truffle dirty coffee (we loved this) . I ordered Chicken Croffle with ube latte,I liked the latte I just wish I can taste the espresso a bit more. Fourstar because our coffee/latte came after our meal in fact we had to ask and follow up on it. Our server also did not really come back to check on us,we had to ask for water from other gentleman that was working. He was very nice though, It could be that it was busy. I will be willing to try and come back and try other things on the menu.
Sweet Maple was delicious!! The service was good but we didn't have an assigned server but it was fine. The food was tasty and came out quick, the restaurant was clean and nice we really liked the experience for our first time trying it! The bacon was amazing!
We came here at around 8:30am on a Sunday for breakfast. Parking wasn't too bad at that time since it was so early but I can see it being very difficult later on especially with the farmers market nearby on Sundays. Since we were there so early we were able to get seated right away without reservations. Walking in my first impression is this restaurant is beautiful! It's professionally decorated/designed. We ordered the ube latte, matcha latte, marnier French toast, coconut moffle, and millionaires bacon. Service was great! Everything came out very quickly! The ube latte actually had a very strong ube taste and not just the brilliant purple color. And you could tell it was freshly prepared since it was still a tiny bit warm despite being an iced drink. The matcha came with cute latte art and was filled to the brim. The matcha was a good strength without crossing into overly earthy. The French toast had a very smoky flavor that reminded me of the smoke when a birthday candle is blown out. I don't know how they did that. It was a very unique flavor. The moffle was a very balanced and tasty dish. The Brie went well with the raspberries. The waffle had a nice chewy texture from the mochi. I didn't get a lot of coconut flavor but I still enjoyed it a lot! The millionaires bacon hit all the right notes for me. You have the saltiness, a kick of spiciness, some sweetness, etc. The only negative for me was the front door/entrance should stay closed more. There were some flies that distracted from the lovely experience. But that may not be completely possible given how popular they are there are probably a lot of people coming in and out at any given time. We left stuffed but without leftovers. It is a little pricier for breakfast. I think after tip it was around $100. So it was $50 per person. This is one of the best brunches I've had in a long time! I can't wait to come back and try their other items.
This spot has been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint! I made a reservation a few weeks in advance (highly recommend if you don't want to wait). We got there and didn't realize how scarce parking would be - took us a few rounds but we finally got a metered spot. Note, they will not seat you until your entire party is there. We opted to sit in the patio area as the restaurant was packed and a bit loud. We had a table that was perfectly shaded and great for us all to catch up without having to strain our voice. For gluten free options, our server recommended one of the omelets or scrambles. I ended up ordering the Frisco scramble with a side of fruit (not potatoes as they weren't gluten free) and a matcha latte. The matcha latte came out quick and was not too sweet which I appreciated. The scramble was absolutely delicious and the fruit tasted so fresh! We all enjoyed each of our meals. I would definitely come back to try other dishes! I would definitely
The establishment itself feels exciting with noise of conversation it feels like a place I could sit and have a coffee with my friends and chat about life. The food was very delicious. A bit on the pricy side but I guess you get what you pay for because I got a meal that I'd eat again if I went here. I recommend going earlier than expected because wait times do vary.
The food, drink, service, and ambiance at Sweet Maple in Walnut Creek were excellent. This is a great breakfast and brunch restaurant with five locations in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's popular and deservedly so. We visited the Walnut Creek location for a Saturday brunch at 10:15 AM. When we arrived, it was already packed with people waiting outside. You can book a reservation for this location with Yelp. The staff is fairly strict about an entire party being present before they can be seated. Our family brought a party of eight. Here's what I got to try on my side of the table: DRINKS Barista's Favorites * Oat Uji Organic Matcha ($9) - 1st harvest matcha grade, oat milk Mimosas & Spicy Friends * Millionaire's Mary ($16) - vodka, spicy housemade Bloody Mary mix, tajin rim, Millionaire's Bacon FOOD Small Bites * Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle ($16) - croissant waffle, burrata, blueberry marinated in Earl Grey and basil EVOO, housemade blueberry marmalade * Korean Fried Chicken ($16) - boneless crispy fried chicken chunks, hot and sweet gochujang sauce served on the side Millionaire's Bacon * Millionaire's Bacon ($15) - original; thick, free-range bacon, baked with brown sugar, cayenne, red and black pepper Benedict & Friends * Blackstone ($26) - poached eggs on ciabatta, served with potato medley; Millionaire's Bacon, asparagus, cherry tomato, Meyer lemon hollandaise, chive Kitchen Specials * Tornado Galbi Omurice ($26) - twisted scrambled egg over fried rice and vegetables, braised short rib, demi-glace scallion, pickled onion, chive, cherry pepper Maple Plates * Marnier French Toast ($18) - extra fluffy thick milk bread, bruleed on top, Grand Marnier cream batter; served with Maldon salt, pure maple syrup * Coconut Moffle with Brie ($21) - coconut mochi waffle, brie, housemade raspberry marmalade, raspberry, truffle honey dressing Everything was outstanding and high-quality all around. The ingredients were fresh and everything was plated and/or presented beautifully. This place is a well-oiled machine. If you've never had Sweet Maple's award-winning Millionaire's Bacon before, it's a must-try. And if you like Bloody Marys like me, their Millionaire's Mary is worth getting too. Just note it is legit spicy (and thick). Among the items listed above, my favorites were the Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle, the Korean Fried Chicken (they do it well), and the Coconut Moffle with Brie. However, your mileage may vary, so don't let that stop you from trying the other dishes (because I also loved the Blackstone Eggs Benedict and the Omurice). They just know how to make good food. Service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and attentive, including the hostess, manager, and servers. I'd describe the atmosphere as "California contemporary." The restaurant space is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. As far as parking, we did metered parking on the street in front of nearby Caffe La Scala (N Main St).

I liked the kiosk Yelp check-in and the wait was 15 minutes Saturday about 12:30. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the meal with just right number of check-ins. Two of us had ube lattes with a shot of espresso added. Great presentation and tasty but not sure I'll reorder for $11. We all shared an order of the millionaire's bacon which was amazing. I won't try to describe how good it was, I'll just say I'm going to order it all future visits. All three of us enjoyed our entrees, which were not inexpensive but well prepared and large portions. I had the egg soufflé with chicken sausage and bacon which was a dish I could not replicate at home. Our other orders of the crab Benedict and crab sandwich got thumbs ups. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Sweet Maple and look forward to returning. read more

Your review is so thoughtful, thank you for your visit and for taking…
The food is excellent and the plate presentation is beautiful and artistic! I had the sizzling plate which was a nice scramble of chicken and apple sausage, vegetables, and an egg over rice. The flavor was unique and delicious! Hubby had the sweet maple scramble, which included millionaire's bacon which he really likes. The place is very popular and there is often a waitlist. The service was very friendly and nice except for the fact that when the bill came, it was exceptionally high. I saw that they automatically added a 20% tip when it was only the two of us who only ordered one dish each, not a lot! When I questioned the server she said yes that's the tip. I saw nowhere that said there is a mandatory tip. Luckily our original server came over to us and brought us a new bill which was a lot lower and this time with no built-in tip added on. She said the one who brought the bill to us had not totaled out somebody else's table and we would've ended up paying for another person's table! That was a careless mistake and that's why I took off a star. Otherwise, it's a great place to eat and I would come back, but check your bill before you pay it! read more

Delicious food. Had a vegetarian Soufflegg Skillet. Gardena Skillet -Sauteed mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers with cherry tomatoes. It was incredible and so fluffy. Sweet Maple was a great breakfast restaurant overall and I'd be interested in trying more dishes they offer. We had the 2 egg breakfasts to try their famous Millionaire Bacon as seen on TV. For drinks we had the classic Mimosa and their Espresso Martini and they came out pretty quick and so did the food. Service was good, we came when it wasn't very busy so I guess we got lucky to get seated right away. Parking is the main difficulty in the area. Outside on the patio is was quiet and relaxing. Ratings: Parking 1/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Drinks 5/5 Millionaire Bacon 3/5 Potato Medley 4/5 Eggs 5/5 Toast 5/5 Personally wouldn't order the Millionaire Bacon again, it was very much like an asian sweet chili pork belly type of bacon style.. the flavor was good but it was served barley warm. Not sure if that's how they serve it normally but I'd just prefer it to come out hot like the rest of the plate. Next time I'd get regular bacon cause the quality of the bacon is definitely 5 out of 5. Mostly the temperature preference for me brings it down a notch. Drinks here are great amazing though! Would definitely visit again. read more

I thought the food was good (sweet maple scramble and blackstone Benedict, would not say obsessed, but I would come again. A bit pricey. The coconut latte is not enough espresso for my taste - I added two shots on the side, and that made it much better. The cinnamon shaken espresso was very good. read more

Keilani, thank you for your visit and it's nice to know you enjoyed…
This is an aesthetic, creative brunch place! There are many unique dishes that come with beautiful presentations. We got several to share including: -Tornado galbi omurice: everything tasted basically as expected--galbi was more shredded beef, egg and rice were pretty standard. -Coconut moffle with brie: I couldn't really taste much coconut. The mochi aspect (or chewiness I would have expected) of the mochi waffle wasn't really there. The brie was interesting, but I didn't feel added much to the dish. I liked that they gave several slices, but I don't think this dish needed that much. The raspberry marmalade was a bit on the slightly tart side. I think a little but more sweetness could make the dish better. -Crispy brussel sprouts: Probably my favorite fish even though it was more predictable. The brussel sprouts was perfectly crispy. I liked that I got to try some of the millionaires bacon without committing to a whole order. The rice cake morsels added a nice chewy texture, and I wished there were more than 3 pieces. -Truffle dirty coffee: you can definitely taste the truffle in there. It's on the rich and oily side. For the presentation, I was hoping they would be more coffee/liquid (cup was a good amount larger than the amount of fluid in there, so it looked a bit odd). Although it is served chilled and cold, it was more on the lukewarm side, probably from the espresso warming up the dairy. Service was friendly. There is street parking. Overall, it's a cute place with interesting dishes. read more

I honestly didn't realize this was the place where Millionaire's Bacon originated, but I've had it before in SF and was really excited to see Sweet Maple open in downtown Walnut Creek. Fair warning: it gets very busy. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation or joining the waitlist ahead of time so you're not stuck waiting outside too long. Parking isn't amazing, but it's downtown--there are parking structures nearby, so it's manageable. Inside, the space is super cute with high ceilings and a modern, airy vibe. I also really appreciate their menu--it has all the classic brunch staples, but with subtle Asian-inspired twists that make things feel a little more interesting. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of sweet bacon (which Millionaire's Bacon definitely is), but if that's your thing, they even offer a bacon flight, which is fun. I went with the crab Benedict, which was delicious, and my husband ordered the beef short rib omurice, which was also really good. Portions aren't huge, but honestly, I didn't mind that at all. It felt like a perfect, satisfying brunch without being overly heavy or leaving with leftovers. Overall, a really cute and solid brunch spot in Walnut Creek--definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

Excellent!! Did know what to expect and my bestie and I came for brunch. So so happy we chose this place. Service is top tier!! The inside is a bit snug with the tables but as long as the patrons are friendly, it's a non issue. Do not skip on the millionaire bacon! Place an order to share (or not). I had the chicken croffle. It was absolute heaven. I would order that over and over again!! I love the crispness of the chicken and the nice touch of candiied walnuts and fruits. Make reservations! I can tell they get packed quickly. Parking can be a pain- street parking only! But there js a nearby garage. read more

Made a reservation for Friday brunch after thanksgiving, and was able to be seated a little earlier than our time as there were open seats (around 10am). Inside is nicely decorated and bright, with windows on one side to bring in some natural light. Service was attentive and nice. The food was good but there was room for improvement! Brussels sprouts - tasty, umami, and sweet. I liked the rice cake additions. Not sure I tasted any truffle, but that's ok. Tornado Galbi omurice - short rib was soft, but the portion size was slightly small. I liked the pickled onions. The overall dish wasn't overly salty as well. Hearty and good! Chicken Croffle - only had a piece of chicken from this, but it was nicely crisped. The chicken was on the thinner side and not the juiciest. Still pretty good though. Marnier French Toast - disappointing as I had high hopes. It is definitely thick but ours was a bit dry inside. The maldon salt on top didn't really mesh well in my opinion. I would not get this again. read more

Went to brunch with the girls this weekend and we had planned on going to either The Royale or Crumbs, but we heard that it may be very busy because those two restaurants just opened up recently. I had wanted to go to Sweet Maple for some time now, so I suggested it to the group. Because it was a Saturday, I expected it to be a wait. We joined the waitlist at the kiosk and there the estimated wait time was between 11-26 minutes, not so bad. Our party was called in about 5 minutes; super fast! It was very busy inside and outside (they have outdoor seating). All the tables were taken! I decided to get the Blackstone Benedict because I wanted to enjoy the Millionaire's Bacon with my meal lol. The portion was perfect and I was able to finish a majority of my plate (besides some potatoes). It wasn't too heavy and actually felt lighter than some benedict I've had. The lemon hollandaise was a bit too citrusy for me though. It seems that the girls also enjoyed their meals as well. We had the Korean fried chicken bites as an appetizer to share and that was a favorite amongst the group. We would definitely come back! read more

The savory breakfast was fresh, flavorful, and filling, and the toast was perfectly buttery. The customer service was good (greeting, checking in on me, refills w/o asking). This place is soooo clean and cute. The decor is nice (not too much). The mimosas were really good crispy & fresh (I did not care for Tiffany Blue mimosa). The croissant waffle 10/10. The fried chicken is Korean style. It didn't taste bad. The fries & sauce taste like dill (I like dill). The burger was good (my best friend said) My best friend loved her drink she order a couple of this bad boys. I've been to the San Francisco Sweet Maple a few years ago and loved it, but I have to say the Walnut Creek location might be my favorite! Definitely recommend joining the Yelp waitlist before you arrive; our wait was about 40 minutes. Check-in was smooth, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. You can choose between indoor or patio seating, but since the patio is pretty small, you'll probably get an indoor table faster. My boyfriend and I had Kiki as our server, and she was amazing! Super friendly and full of great recommendations for both food and drinks. We ended up ordering the Marnier French Toast with bacon, chicken mango sausage, and the potato medley. Everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious! We also got iced and hot vanilla lattes, both of which were really good. Can't wait to come back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend Sweet Maple for a weekend brunch. read more

Lucked out & got a reservation for 2 @Sweet Maple in Walnut Creek. If you are a fan of the Kitchen Story Restaurants, you will like Sweet Maple. They are associated with Kitchen Story. The food did not disappoint. We ordered the Tornado Omurice w/braised short rib meat (My Favorite), my niece had the Crab sandwich with fries, made w/real crab which she enjoyed. Grand Marnier French Toast and side order of Candy Bacon & Korean Chicken. The Expresso Martini was yummy & my niece had the Ube Latte. Out of all dishes we tried the French toast was alright. It was a very thick french toast. The edges were dry, but the middle was moist & had that custard taste, it was not bad but nothing special. Our res was for Sun 9:45 AM, we arrived 5 mins early & was seated right away, but there was no line outside. Not a big place, but they do have table inside & tables outside on their nice patio. The decor was chic modern & comfortable. The staff were attentive & polite. The food came out quickly. I will be coming back again to try their Soufflé egg dish & their Blueberry Cloud French Toast. When we left there a line outside waiting. I recommend you try and make reservations. read more

Incredible. I love the SF location, so I was so excited to hear a location opened closer in Walnut Creek. Service: wonderful!! We seemed to have two servers, but no complaints! Both were attentive and kind. Also hot tip - we came in on a Saturday morning, expecting a wait. I looked on Yelp and joined the waitlist. By the time we arrived, we were seated. Ambiance: Think minimalist chic. The overall vibe was calming, and the location was just the best. It's tucked away, but close enough to walk to Broadway Plaza. Food: AMAZINGGGG. We ordered the the Millionaires Bacon and Petit Pancakes to start. Super yummy and filling. Then I ordered the short ribs pot (highly recommend!!) my friend ordered the sizzling stone pot, one disclaimer, the portions for the entrees were really big. Honestly we could've ordered one entree and it would have been more than enough. So good!! I look forward to coming back!! read more

Came here today with my family was highly recommended by my sister in law so decided to stop by. I was disappointed in the service!! Read till the end. No wait time today so we got sat down as soon as we arrived. We all had the ube latte which I didn't like It tasted like milk no flavor. And No coffee at all. Every place I've been to with ube latte it comes with coffee and this did not. So 0/10 for that drink. I ordered chick sandwich it was good had great flavor 8/10 My sister ordered noodles and they were great as well, the flavor was good 7/10 I would have to admit they are a little pricey for what it is. Petite pancakes had no fluf and were dry so 2/10 Where this placed lacked and made me feel a little discriminated was when I asked for an extra plate because I was going to share half my sandwich with my mom and she was going to give me a few of the mini pancakes they came over to us with paper plates. I've NEVER EVER been to a restaurant and had someone bring me paper plates. Spent $200 here to be given paper plates :/ was charged a 20% tip fee wich I almost felt like wasn't deserved. People next to our table asked for an extra plate because they were sharing too and they got the regular glass plate. So I'm not sure why we were given paper plates. Maybe because we were speaking Spanish? I'd hate to think that but I can't find another reason why? It even looked bad and almost embarrassing to have paper plates on our table. read more

Ok so here we go to Walnut Creek with our dogs and we have no idea where to go for lunch. I was looking around and around and finally found sweet maple. I put yelp reservations down but by the time we found parking in horrible downtown.... We arrived and had 5 minutes to sit, order our food, and our drinks all at the same time. Interesting fact, there are two gates for outside seating, but rather than taking us out that way, we walked through the whole restaurant with two large fluffy dogs. Thought that was weird but hey everyone loves our dogs! Walking through the restaurant, it's modern and really nice, the chairs to the tables look super comf You can see from the photo everything arrived at the same time. All four drinks and our food came out first. That was strange, cause the drink is suppose to come out first so you can enjoy it. Anyways, the patio is great. Everyone had their dogs out and about. It was enjoyable. The negative I have to say, is when we got our food, the ratio of ingredient in the sandwiches were very small. So basically it was a lot of bread. The French fries were delicious. But the "million$" bacon wasn't really worth it. I'll come back if I get their on time. So I can enjoy my drinks and food. The other thing which was welded is my food came out first and the. My partner's food came second. So basically they really don't know timing. read more

This is a more upscale breakfast/brunch spot. Their food is delicious and they have surprising fusions. They are known for their Millionaire's Bacon. If you love bacon, you should try their bacon flight and experience the full range of sweet, savory, and spicy options. The Coconut Moffle with Brie is a nice salty and sweet option. I wouldn't have thought of putting brie on a waffle but they go well together here along with the chewiness of the mochi waffle and raspberries. The Savory Soufflegg Skillet also hit the spot. The eggs were fluffy and the shrimp, bacon, and scallions were nicely mixed in there. The potatoes and the bread were also great sides. The bread was perfectly toasted and crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. They also have outdoor seating but beware this place can get pretty crowded on the weekends. read more

My friend recommended this place, and my girlfriend and I are so glad we came for brunch! The location is a little tricky to find, but there's parking available. Inside, you're greeted with a warm welcome and beautiful lighting--great for photos. I ordered a simple egg plate with toast and bacon, and it was so good (some of the best toast and bacon I've had!). I skipped the million-dollar bacon this time, but it's on my list for next time. The orange juice was fresh-squeezed and refreshing. My girlfriend had the seafood omelet and loved it. We also thought it was really sweet that dogs on the patio were immediately given a bowl of water! I thought this was sweet for the pups! The only regret was not having room for the mini pancakes--but that just means we'll be back. Great food, dog-friendly patio, and attentive service made this a five-star experience. read more

We didn't know that Sweet Maple was a chain until we walked in and remembered the decor. We ordered the Blueberry French Toast, Burrata Salad, and Coconut Waffle. My nephew didn't like Blueberry Cloud French Toast because there spur cream filling was a little too salty for him. My partner thought that the waffle was too sweet and too small for the price. My burrata salad was really good because I asked for the dressing and avocado on the side. The toast was delicious to smearvthe burrata and avocado on. I would order the burrata salad again! read more

As a regular at their SF location, I finally had the opportunity to try Sweet Maple's new location in Walnut Creek! At all locations, you can expect them to open at either 8am or 8:30am and close at either 2:30pm or 3pm. With Walnut Creek's location, their hours are 8:00am-2:30pm daily! Easy to remember, right? [+1 star] Online Waiting List. At the time of writing this, Walnut Creek is the ONLY location that has a waitlist that you can join ahead from. Note: you must be within 40 miles of the location to be able to place your name down. Otherwise the system won't let you move forward. This is a fantastic perk. You might think that the radius is generous (and it is - a lot places have a radius set for 10 miles, or even 5 miles). You know there absolutely will be lines here, so why not see how the wait is online and then put a name down when you're at home getting ready! If you do put a name down in advance and can no longer make it, just make sure to take it down so others can be shown a more accurate wait time. [+1 star] Short and accurate wait time. I did put a name down ahead of time for a party of 4. So I'm sure that influenced the short wait time. I was surprised at the accuracy of the online wait time. We actually received the text message a couple minutes earlier than the estimated wait time. Always a nice surprise when that happens! Pro tip: I say it's always better to assume wait times will be longer so that you're not disappointed when the estimate runs over! Easier said than done (I know, lol) when you're eyeing everyone's millionaire's bacon and other delicious food walk by. We checked in with the hostess and she made sure our whole party was there before she sat us (we were). [+0.5 star] Patient and friendly staff. Two of my friends have never been to any Sweet Maple (believe it or not). They had lots of questions and our waiter was patient and answered all of their questions with a smile. [+0.5 star] Attentive staff. With tables packed pretty much all day, the kitchen has gotten their groove down. All of the food came out very quickly. Within a few short minutes of each other, we all had our food. Being seated outside, generally it takes staff a little longer to refill water and to come around to check in on us. That was not the case here! Water was constantly being refilled. Suffice it to say that I think we were well cared for during our meal! [+1 star] Great tasting food. If you're eating cleaner or have dietary restrictions, there's something for everyone here. I ordered the millionaire's bacon (of course) and the spinach scramble to share. I upgraded from potatoes to fresh fruit for an extra $4 and requested that the scramble be made with egg whites (also extra $4). Scrambles come with ciabatta and we were happy to stick with that. But they also have an option to change it to gluten free bread for an additional $2. With all of the extra substitutions, you'd think I wouldn't be full. Even though the scramble was made with egg whites which usually means less volume for the overall scramble, I thought the portion size was very generous. Fruit was incredibly fresh and also very sweet. Ciabatta was nicely toasted. Now for the millionaires bacon flight - you've heard it all and I'm going say it again. Popular for a reason, they're sweet and salty and you have to order this (even if you're a regular!) It never gets tiring. You get 4 slices of thick cut bacon with various flavors (original, citron, rosemary, and cinnamon). My group's ranking for flavors from most to least favorite is as follows: original, citron, cinnamon, and rosemary! Order the flight and try for yourself to see if you agree with our ranking! [+1 star] Spacious and modern ambiance. Once you walk in the main entrance, you'll be met with a bright, chic and modern dining space. Gone are the dark wooden chairs and tables that put their first SF location on the map. The Walnut Creek location has a white ceiling affixed with bright light fixtures and a skylight to add even more brightness. Chairs are a luxurious leather half moon chair with and are a neutral taupe color. That's for the inside! We were seated at their outside patio where we were met with rattan chairs with seat cushions and black tables with white marbling. What we liked was that the sliding door that separates the inside and outside of the restaurant can slide completely open. This allows more air for the people on the inside and allows the people outside to feel like they're part of the people dining inside! read more

Hi, Kenneth. Thank you for joining us and it's nice to know you…
I have been wanting to try Sweet Maple since it opened earlier this year. I finally had a chance to do so yesterday (8/9/2025) with a friend. She arrived before I did and put our name on the waitlist. To our surprise, we only waited ~10 mins. I tried to come here with another friend in the spring but we bailed when we saw that the wait was over an hour on a Sunday afternoon at 1 pm (they close at 2:30 pm). Very happy to have a short wait this time. For our drinks, I had the iced ube latte and my friend had the cinnamon espresso. I could taste the ube and liked that it was made with oat milk. However, I do not think that drink is worth $9. For our entrees, I had the Oscar Benedict and she had the eggs with millionaire's bacon. Loved the colorful potatoes, fresh crab, and ciabatta bread. Though the wasabi hollandaise had a little kick, it was not as spicy as I would have expected. Server was friendly, patient with my questions, and brought our food out quickly. The restaurant was a bit noisy. My portion of the bill (including tax/tip) was ~$54, which was a bit pricey. However, I'm glad I tried it with my friend as it was our last time seeing each other as I'm moving out of state this coming week. As for whether I'd go back when visiting the bay or recommending Sweet Maple to local friends who haven't tried it, I would say the food is great but pricey and I wouldn't wait if the wait is more than a half hour. Were I to return, I'd probably sit outside given that inside was noisy. read more

First time trying this place and I already can't wait to go back. The Millionaires Bacon is as good as the hype but also so were all the other dishes. Service is great. Once you order, the food is out pronto. I highly recommend the Cinnamon Shaken Espresso especially if you want to feel a bit fancy. They serve it in a wine glass over ice, topped with a smoking cinnamon stick. I also appreciate comfortable chairs at restaurant tables and they did not disappoint. The place is light and bright with a clean crisp vibe. read more

We came here for a birthday breakfast before going to the movies. All the staff was so sweet and really attentive. It's a small little restaurant, but the interior design is absolutely wonderful. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it. I really enjoyed the menu selections and the Asian inspired flavors, sometimes it feels like it's hard to find good Asian fusion. The portions that they give you are so reasonable for the price in my opinion. The potatoes were perfect texture and really stood out to me. They had the perfect balance of crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside. I got scrambled eggs too, and I was relived that they weren't wet and runny. It's more of a personal preference, but that's a plus in my book. Their birthday celebration is really cute too. read more

Sweet Maple is easily one of the best breakfast spots in Walnut Creek. The Millionaire's Bacon alone is worth the trip--sweet, smoky, and perfectly crispy. I also tried their morning cocktails, and the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" shots (they come as a pair) were such a fun touch to brunch. The vibe is lively but still relaxed enough to actually enjoy your meal. If you're a brunch person, this place needs to be on your list. I'll definitely be coming back to work my way through the rest of their menu! read more

Marlon, we truly appreciate your wonderful comments and look forward…
Got the Blackstone, an eggs Benedict with one piece of their Millionaire bacon. It was yummy but I couldn't taste the lemon in their hollandaise. I was expecting it to be stronger but it was still really good. I really liked their mixed potatoes. I wouldn't mind getting this dish again but I'd maybe try something else first. The ube latte was on the milkier side than Ube. I like a strong Ube flavor. It did get stronger after the first few sips but it still wasn't strong enough. I would skip this in the future. I had a sip of the matcha latte and that had a very strong flavor, maybe a little too strong, and it felt chalky. My friend liked it though. I would pass on this as well. Their outdoor dining has plenty of shade and was bearable during a heat wave. Service was really great and friendly. Shout out to Nay! read more
