We tried Sweet Maple, a cute little restaurant nestled next to Skipolini's in WC. We were greeted and seated right away. Hubs ordered eggs and millionaire bacon and I had the savory omelette which had pieces of bacon and shrimp with a side of fruit. I thought my dish was good, the bread was surprisingly delicious, the crunch it had and the butter. My fruit salad was good too. Hubs said his was good but the bacon was very rich so he couldn't even finish his 2 pieces. The thickest bacon we have ever had. Good flavor but it was very rich so only a few bites were had. Overall experience was okay, nothing stood out for me to make me want more. The service was lacking. Our server never checked on us after our food arrived and we actually had to sit there for a long while and flagged her down for the check. Overall an okay experience but not amazing and prices were on the higher side. read more

Came in with some friends for brunch. The male host was very nice and got us seated pretty quickly even though they were very busy. Lots of people inside and outside eating. I and my friend had the chicken croffle. It was very good. We both enjoyed it My cocktail was the WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE which I think is their signature cocktail. It was ok. The candied bacon on it was nice but it done think I would get it again. My friend had the sweet maple espresso martini i tried that and it was very good. I will have that next time I come. Had a quick brunch while in the area the other day, sadly had to rush out of there since we were running late to an appt, and unfortunately I had left my card at home (because we left to Walnut Creek so early) , and I feel terrible about not being able to tip the waiter. I literally only had enough to pay for the bill, thanks to my sister's bday gift card to me and just some little funds on my Venmo debit! So whoever waited me that day, I'm VERY SORRY! We absolutely loved sweet maple! We have tried the other location in Campbell but only tried their sweet food options. We were hoping that this location did not disappoint and it was a great experience! This time we decided to try something on the savory side and initially it was just okay. But whatever that homemade sriracha or hot sauce is was a 10/10! I would come back just to add that one whatever I ordered lol. They need to bottle it and sell it if it's homemade. The coffee was also really good and not too heavy on the caffeine which is my preference. Everything was delicious here, my girlfriends and I came in on a Monday morning with no reservations and were seated almost immediately. The inside is really nice, and they also have a small out door seating area. The matcha latte was really good, the perfect amount of milk to matcha and the matcha was good quality. The truffle dirty coffee was interesting, strong coffee. I love both coffee and truffle but I wouldn't pair them together. The original millionaires bacon was really good nice thick cut of bacon perfectly candied. The petite pancake stack was perfect for someone like me. I normally can not stomach pancakes but this was perfect. The pancakes were a cute size, buttered, with a blueberry sauce and whipped cream. The omurice was good the galbi was nice and tender and the flavor was good. The egg was cooked perfectly, I will say the sauce and the rice were lacking some flavor but overall this dish was good. I've been wanting to try this place for so long, and my mom and I finally got to! The minute we walked into the door we were greeted with a smile by the host and immediately seated (no reservation). The ambience was such a modern and happy vibe, everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their food and time here. For our drinks, I ordered a matcha latte and my mom ordered an ube latte. When I say this is the BEST matcha latte ever, I mean that this was the BEST MATCHA LATTE EVER! I will be getting that every single time I get it and loved the design they added to it as well. My mom LOVED her ube latte, and when I tried some I could see why she loved it so much. It was the perfect hint of ube but not overpowering. We ordered the Tornado Galbi Omurice, France Egg Soufflé, and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. The Tornado was defiantly the show stopper and had super savory flavor with the perfect amount of sauce that it came with. We ate every single bite. The soufflé was so fluffy and fresh, and the sausage and bacon was such a good touch with it as well. The Brussels were so good and had little rice balls that came mixed in with it. The flakey-ness of the Brussels were perfect and were finished by just the two of us. Defiantly something we're going to be getting again. Let's start with the good. This place has been TOUGH to get into since it's opening but we figured the morning after halloween we had a good chance, and we were able to get in at 9am. The food was GOOD, though the prices were extremely high. i.e. 2 eggs any style with potatoes $17. Swap potatoes for fruit you are now at $21. c'mon... I ordered the scramble with asparaugus and "millionaire bacon" which sells by itself for $17 for 2 strips? The scramble was good with the exception that the dish was smothered in parmesan cheese to the extent that it murdered any flavor of the dish. Having scraped off 3 tablespoons of shredded parmesan, the remaining 2 egg scramble was good. But @ $70, for a scramble with fruit instead of potatoes, a yogurt parfait and a cup of coffee, I felt abused. It's good but priced for perfection, so if money is no object, enjoy. read more

This place is AMAZING. I loved it so much that I have been there twice in eight days, and as I write this review, I'm thinking of going there today. I want to start off with the moment I walked in. This place looks stunning. It's clean and well-kept, and everyone is friendly. Best of all, I didn't feel out of place. The second time I went, I took my sister-in-law and niece. Everyone was awesome. They found a table in the back, which was perfect. Niece could be a toddler without us having to worry about anyone around us. My niece loved the breakfast. She kept eating the purple potatoes, and she probably had a whole meal all by herself. As for me, what made me come back was ; When I had my first meal, everything on the table was different, but it went well together. Their menu seems purposeful. All the flavors blended together to form a meal, versus you having different items for breakfast. My ube latte had the right amount of sweetness and balanced my meal. The bacon was icing on the cake. It's funny because my sister-in-law experienced the same thing the second time I went. As she was having her coffee, she noticed it was a little stronger than she was accustomed to. Yet once she had a bite of the bacon and took another sip, she noticed it changed the profile of the coffee, and it now went well together. She took another bite and another sip and was in awe. Beautiful decor, soothing music. The menu is extensive for brunch lovers. The only shortcoming is that they are not a ton of vegetarian options. Came here on a Monday for brunch with my coworkers. I was able to get a reservation the day before. To my surprise, it was actually really busy for a Monday brunch. Given that we had reservations, I'm glad we got seated right away. My coworkers and I ordered the following: Farm Fresh Egg Plate w/ Millionaire's bacon, Tornado Galbi Omurice, Blueberry Cloud French Toast and the Mexicali Burger. We also ordered a matcha and Ube latte. The food came over fairly quickly and we all enjoyed our meals. The blueberry French toast was different as it was deep fried with a blueberry cream cheese filling. I wish there was more filling as the French toast is pretty dense. But nonetheless, still very delicious. Other than the food, I would say the only downside was even with reservations, they initially offered us a table right next to the entrance where all the guests waiting would crowd right next to the table. I had asked for a different table, so they offered us a patio table. I chose the patio table thinking it would be best away from the crowd but unfortunately it was the table right next to the area they would buss all the serve-ware. I've tried Sweet Maple in SF, so I was excited to try out this new location because it's closer to me! It did not disappoint. Like the SF location, there was a wait (a really long wait LOL but it was expected), but unlike SF, there is a Yelp waitlist. The food was really good and the service was great! The braised short rib went really well with the sizzling stonepot. For the omurice, I thought everything was great, except for the rice which I found to be quite lacking. The raspberry lemonade definitely tasted fresh and was a nice sweet drink to go with everything. Overall, I really enjoy Sweet Maple. Their brunch offerings are definitely what you'd expect out of an aesthetic brunch, but it's also good food. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 stars is how pricey their food is for what you get, but I think you're also paying for the experience as well. read more

I've been to the San Francisco location and was so excited to see one open here! We decided to go on Easter Sunday and were a little worried about long lines. Luckily, we joined the waitlist through Yelp while heading to the gym, which worked out perfectly since the estimated wait was about an hour. At the time, we didn't realize you can check in online when you're closer to the front of the line - super convenient. We showed up when we were about 15th in line, so we took a stroll through the farmers market just down the block. We got seated not too long after; the wait felt totally manageable. Once inside, the space was beautiful. We sat outside, and all the staff were really kind and welcoming. Now for the food: we ordered an orange juice and a matcha latte to start - both were good! We've been trying to get in there and have brunch as friends for quite some time and it just never worked out but today was the day. Got in. Got an immediate table. The menu looked amazing. I wound up having the florentine eggs Benedict and my friend had their spinach scramble....staff were friendly and efficient. There's no one person on any table so service is immediate and excellent. I also wound up having fresh orange juice which is outstanding. There is just not enough nice things for me to say about this place..... Sweet Maple's opening in WC was very much anticipated. Other than wait times, I've never had a bad experience at any of the restaurants within this group / places that serve Millionaire's Bacon. So glad I was able to try Sweet Maple during a lunch break on a Tuesday! We were lucky to have found a meter spot nearby Sweet Maple. Put in $ for an hour and headed in. On our way there, I put us on the virtual waiting list on Yelp. Mentioned this to them when we walked in, and we were seated. We got the menus and had plenty of time to read it through. Someone took our drink orders and we tried- Ube Latte- so pretty and purple! Unfortunately it wasn't caffeinated, but it was good. One of the better Ube lattes I've tried. Didn't feel $9 worth tho. Espresso Tonic- so fancy! It had espresso, tonic, elderflower, and rose. Tasted tart, fruity, and a bit floral. One of the more unique espresso tonics I've tried. Our food order was later taken, and thankfully the food arrived very quickly. Yay for not having to go put more money in the meter! We tried - Pimped Up Ramyun - elevated soupless ramen, with egg and millionaires bacon! The seasoning and their bacon makes this dish work, along with the interesting presentation. The table next to us took a photo of it as well. Tornado Galbi Omurice - it was so difficult choosing what I wanted to try, but ultimately went with the omurice because I haven't tried the tornado style egg before. So cool looking! The rice underneath didn't have fixings in it, so the flavors just came from the seasonings, the sauce, meat, and pickled onions, etc. They can do a crispy tofu version instead of the braised short ribs. It was good, but I expected a bit better in terms of the rice and flavor, considering a $26 dish. The space doesn't seem to suppress noise very well, as it was rather noisy in the center (where we were seated), but luckily we didn't have much to say. The interior was modern and clean looking. They do indoor and outdoor seating. I would come back to try other stuff. Their cocktails sound amazing, and I'd love to try other cafe drinks. Their small plates with burrata (earl grey blueberry croffle) and dish with Brie (coconut moffle) sound so good as well. I was interested in their egg soufflés, and thought I'd try next time, but the person at the table next to us mentioned it was rather bland (no wonder they recommend ordering the $2 jam). We've been here 3x now & can recommend: the chicken croffle, millionaire bacon, and any of their scrambles. Ambiance was great- sat outside with the birds of paradise plant wall and a heater. We got there and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. This is so hard to review as there is no half stars. Ordered the short rib fried rice but there were barely any short ribs and felt the ratio was way off. A sprinkle of short ribs with that much rice and egg is not worth almost 30 dollars....a bit disappointed in that. Flavor is good and the sauce seems like a lot but not overpowering. Eggs cooked perfect in my dish, good texture and good flavor to the rice. My boyfriend got the Blackstone Benedict and the potatoes and bacon were good but the eggs were so undercooked the moment he cut it in half the whole uncooked yolk came out and the uncooked egg whites were separated. The food has good flavor but clearly things were rushed and not taken the time to cook on the Benedict. The drinks were great the guava drink was smooth and refreshing. Very unique flavors to this drink which I loved. The Tiffany blue mimosa was a great twist on regular mimosa. The mango mimosa was ok nothing special and with the different flavors they offer I would try the fresh juice over the mango one. The service was ok our drinks were empty for a while before someone came over and we were able to order a second drink. After our food came no one asked if we needed anything else. Once we ordered our second drink they brought us the check....we felt rushed and like we should be done which in my opinion is a way to push people out. It was a bit busy as I expected on a Sunday but it wasn't too loud. It is a bit of smaller place but they have seating in and outdoors. Very impressed with the menu, and quality of food here at Sweet Maple. I'm from the Bay Area, but I live in LA now and every time I come back home to visit I am so frustrated because I think all the food and restaurants are either awful or just mediocre. I came for a visit couple weeks ago for my dad's birthday and we were so blown away that there was a normal, delicious brunch spot like sweet maple. Not only is the interior and decor really nice and elevated, the menu is great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Also can't forget the service - we had wonderful service from everyone who worked there. Some people might look at the prices and think it's a little too overpriced, but let me tell you - not only is it worth it for the quality, but also their portions are huge! I truly feel that one dish is perfect for two people. There were four of us and we ordered three items and the bacon flight and we had at least a third of the food left over because the portions were so big. I will probably be back every time I come into town I would recommend all the items we ordered, which were the Francis Soufflegg Skillet, Sizzling Stonepot, and chicken Sandwich. The fries that came with the sandwich were delicious, and the potatoes that came with the soufflegg skillet were some of the best I've had (also dipping them in a couple of their house made aïoli were perfection). read more

We had an ube latte and a matcha latte with almond milk, then settled into our food - the chicken croffle, the omurice galbi, and the Benedict Gladstone. The mixed potatoes with the Benedict were next level good. Eggs and Hollandaise sauce were great. The millionaire's bacon was tasty, but was a little tough to cut. The ciabatta bread as a base for the Benedict was also a little hard to cut. Taste was good, but the tough cutting (even with the extra knife) took a little away from the dish.
