Inside of Gusto Mio w/ one of my best friends :)

Came here for the first time on 4/9/26 for a casual girl dinner with my high school best friends! I got the Toscana and omg it was so delish! Very huge portion of the sandwiches, I was full from eating one half! Still happy I had the other half to save for the next day for lunch hehe. Somewhat small place but decent amount of seating to sit down and eat. The servers were very nice as well and were helpful when asked questions! Definitely coming back again! :)

Good pizza, fast and friendly service, bought rosemary focaccia to take home. Margarita pizza is on the same focaccia bread, sauce is very good.

Gusto Mia is a small sandwich shop with a charming wall of Italian shelf-stable groceries. We ordered 2 sandwiches: - Toscana (stracciatella, arugula, prosciutto, truffle honey on toasted focaccia) -- This one was the better one. The stracciatella (that soft interior of burrata) is my favorite, but fair warning: it's messy and the honey gets everywhere. I'll probably get extra prosciutto next - Picante (spicy salami, mozz, spread, arugula, jalapeño honey + added prosciutto) -- Despite the name, not spicy at all. We weren't fans of this one, would definitely try a different sandwich next time. A few things: They had flatbreads sitting out that looked like they'd been there a while...a little cold and unappetizing on display. Hopefully they get heated up before serving. And their sandwiches are quite bland. They're fresh and simple- not super saucy and savory. Add spreads and sauces if that's what you're looking for- or create your own. Overall- yes, they're pricey. But if you're craving a proper Italian sandwich done right, this hits the spot. Come hungry and grab napkins!

We ordered lunch for the office & chose this place for Christmas lunch & the whole office LOVED it! The pizza was so big, my coworkers thought it was going to be a slice but it was a whole serving that you could share with a couple people. I got the lasagna and it was the best lasagna I EVER had! I still think about it. I wish they were able to be bought frozen I would definitely buy it monthly lmaooo! The service & staff were so sweet and accommodating so definitely have to dine in one of these days!

Returned and tried two more (different) sandwiches than last visit: Trevi - a more rustic sandwich + has simpler flavors compared to other sandwiches. It's also the most moist out of the 4 sandwiches I've tried due to the porchetta. Toscana - quite sweet with the burrata truffle honey, but pairs well with the prosciutto. Takes away some of the saltiness compared to the other sandwich I had last time.

We didn't like our pizza, hope you had a better experience

Gusto means "enjoyment or vigor in doing something" like eating pizza for example, unfortunately this pizza was anything but enjoyable. We ordered the Personal pizza since it would be cheaper to order than individual slices. Pepperoni and sausage on foccasia was such a let down. Think non tasty foccasia and runny bland sauce and meh toppings. We just felt like it was something you'd find at an abandoned strip mall. I'll give it 3 stars for the restaurant being clean and the service being prompt but we didn't like their pizza which is what they're known for.

It's great to have a quick and casual place to get a really good sanwich, plus some quick tiramisu dessert options. 5/5: Pastrami focaccia sando $18: It is a full-on pastrami focaccia sandwich, plus it has chunks of eggplant, which are unecessary, but tasty nonetheless.

Love the sandwiches and pizzas offered here. The foccacia is light and airy which toasts up so well. My favorite so far has been the Fungo Pizza and the Pastrami. I'd love to try them all!

Transported back to Italy with how delicious this place was! Came for dinner around 6 and it was empty, but seems they were getting lots of food delivery orders. Service was quick and the inside was clean. I had some questions about the menu and the lady working was very helpful. I decided on the Modena because I love anything with mortadella, my fiancé a build your own turkey sandwich with mozzarella, and we split a piece of sausage pizza. They hit it out of the park. Ingredients were fresh, flavors complemented each other and the focaccia was outstanding. The sausage pizza had just the right amount of sweetness with the peppers, it's really fantastic. We'll be back when we're in WC to try more of their menu!

We recently came back from Italy and we had sandwiches just like the ones at gusto mio! Such a cozy and unique spot! We came on a Saturday like 2pm, it wasn't too crowded and we got out sandwiches pretty quick! Parking is a bit hard to find in the area. We got the pistachio cream sandwich and it tasted like the one we got in Italy. It was the perfect blend of cheese and meat. We also got gustosa which had truffle cream, prosciutto, arugula and stracietella cream, this whole combo was amazing. I honestly liked it more than the pistachio. The pizzas looked great but we didn't have a chance to try them. These sandwiches may look small but the focaccia is super crispy and fluffy and will fill you up. Total for 2 w/tax & tip: $39

Grabbed a meal here before catching a flick at the movie theater nearby. It was a fairly small space with several tables inside as well as seating against the window. Staff was friendly and patient as I made my selections, and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. Got a focaccia sandwich, the "make your own" option with pesto, mozzarella, mushrooms, salame, and pastrami (paid extra for an additional meat). They gave me a choice of either melted or fresh mozzarella, and I'm glad I opted for melted cheese. All of the toppings and ingredients came together perfectly in the decent-sized sandwich, juicy italian meats with the oils blending in with the tender mushrooms and soft and chewy bread. Even the pesto sauce added a nice flavor. I also ordered a slice of the pizza special in the display case, to save for later, cuz I couldn't miss out on trying Gusto Mio's unique pizzas that come on my favorite kind of bread, fluffy herbed focaccia! The pizza came with pork, onions, jalapenos, and mozzarella, and no sauce. It was interesting, not my fave but not bad. Those jalapenos were super spicy, my tongue was on fire! Might be the spiciest I ever had, probably cuz I ate the pith of the jalapeno. It seems to me that the sandwiches are better than the pizza here, though I do like that they offer unique flavor combinations and sell by the slice. I didn't even know a "focacceria" was a thing... well now I know that's exactly what Gusto Mio is. And it's absolutely addictive.

It was 43 degrees outside. The minute I walked in , I felt like I was transported to Italy. The ambiance, the decor, the vibes and the staff I believe were speaking Italian. Everything looked delicious. The pizzas, the desserts , and the sandwiches. The most delicious homemade focaccia sandwiches ever. We ordered: Margherita pizza slice , my favorite! Gustosa- 24 Month Prosciutto, Stracciatello, Arugula, Truffle Cream ( absolutely delicious and creamy) California- Turkey Stracciatella, Tomato, Avocado ( big portion and delicious ) We will be back to try the rest of the menu!

I was in the area and looking for a quick lunch option before an appointment. I found Gusto Mio online and decided to give it a shot! While the pizzas looked great, I was in the mood for a sandwich and saw they had something akin to La Paradiso at All'Antico Vinaio and wanted to give it a try. The sandwich ("Pistacchio", $17) was great! All of the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. It's a pretty small shop - I think they have a few tables and a counter near the window. If you're in downtown WC, especially near the Lesher Center, you should absolutely check this place out. I can't wait to go back and give some of their pizzas a try, though it'll be hard not to order the Pistacchio sando again!

I see you have a gluten free option. Is it a focaccia pizza also? And is a small size considered a personal size pizza?

The small size is huge. Enough for 2 ppl to share. It's 4 large rectangles that can easily be split into 8.

I suppose there r no gluten free options for those of us cursed with celiac 😭?

Hello michelle, we do have a vegan gluten free pizza available .

Don't get me wrong, the Genova's in the big (little) Dub Cee does what it can to keep up and turns out some pretty decent sandwiches. It has all the trademark imported knickknacks (biscotti, multicolored taffy in well-worn bins, boxed panettone, etc.) as well as traditional staples like wine, fresh pasta and the famed Genova's brand boxed frozen ravioli for you to take home and spoil your family with in a variety of flavors like artichoke, mushroom and even pumpkin. But it lacks soul. It lacks spirit. It doesn't have any of the flavor that the Genova's in Oakland had and each sandwich churned out is indicative of that. It's just not that good. And for a sandwich you have to wait a mighty long time for, it better be good. Real good. So, I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have a Genova's left to go to and that's okay. Sometimes it's better to have loved and lost (a sandwich) than never to have loved at all.

Fortunately, the food inside lives up to the '80's music. This place is a little Eastern-European treasure chest. As much as I enjoyed the food, my interaction with the woman working there this time was not great. When I arrived, she was unpacking a box. She saw me but did not greet me or ask if I was ready to order. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes before she finally asked. It would have been nice to be acknowledged right away. I ordered two different fillings, and when she was packing them, I asked if she could please label them so I would know which one was which. She responded by saying, "I wasn't going to make you guess." I did not find that very friendly. In fact, I thought it was borderline rude. I still really enjoyed the food, but that interaction took away from the overall experience a little bit. I wish the customer service had been a bit warmer.
