slice of the combo pizza
Marck N.

We had an enjoyable lunch here this holiday weekend. We ordered the large combo pizza to share with our party. My son loved the pizza. It had lots of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onion, and green peppers that he enjoyed eating. The black olives also added a good saltiness to it, that he didn't eat it but I enjoyed. It wasn't busy when we went for lunch on the holiday. They had their tv's playing the world cup matches, which was great to watch. Next to the Bart station, it was a easy place to meet our friend for lunch. Definitely a place to come back to for good pizza next to the Bart.

To be honest, didn't know what to expect. Was craving pizza tried this place. It's located at a cute area next to BART station. Once we entered, you order at the counter and sit anywhere you like. Ordered the burrata pizza and Caesar salad. The pizza came out pretty quickly and it was so good. I will definitely come back.

Pepperoni Roman style

Really enjoyed my experience here! The pizza was great: we tried regular thin crust cheese (my favorite) and Roman pepperoni (also excellent: airy and yet crispy crust). We also got wings which were also excellent - very hot and crispy. Definitely deluxe! The service is great - they are warm and attentive and food came out on time. My mom is elderly and lives nearby...she comes here often and they always treat her so well. Highly recommended!

I had the combo Roman style delivered on dd. It's very good pizza/high quality meats and veggies. Ample cheese and great sauce. And they put a good crisp on the undercarriage which is unusual in my experience in this genre. I'm looking forward to visiting in person.

Sim the owner has a true gem on hand. Its right near the Bart station and has a really comfy local hangout vibe.We visited this place on suggestion from our hotel.Wow. Really good wings never had a lemon pepper that actually tasted like fresh lemon. Also the pizza from crust to pepperoni was delicious.Really good crust and pepperoni cups.Sim the owner was really a great host and is very proud of his establishment.

Wow, just wow! I've been to a lot of pizza joints. Mind you, I have 3 kids. This place is hands down 5, if I could.. more stars! The service is amazing, got served from the owner himself, great guy all around ! You could really tell he put his heart into this place. The bar area is great; lots of space for even a big crowd, and I love the set up of the tvs! I had the firecracker pizza, lemon pepper wings, Caesar salad, and a few ipa beers. Holy guacamole... I am not even sure how to put into words that pizza. But please just give it a try for yourself. Those lemon pepper wings, which mind you, were wet! Just wow! Definitely found a new favorite spot.

Wow! This place just opened up and is a must! I went with a large group and we were easily accommodated. The owners and staff were super friendly and inviting! Not only is the inside comfortable and adorable but they have outside seating that is pet friendly! They have a large selection of beers- on tap and in cans along with wines and ciders. We started with the chicken wings- the mango habanero was sooo good but The pizza here is what it's all about. The dough was You gotta try the bacon, fig pizza! Highly recommend this little spot, right by the bar station so easy to get to. I'll definitely be back!

Food was so damn good! Service was phenomenal owner was super friendly and outgoing, ambiance was solid too nice setting overall, owner was also punjabi so me and my family enjoyed that and he was taking to us about menu expansion/additions that sounded great! This spot will be my family's to go spot now for some bomb pizza.

Burrata Love Affair & Smokehouse Meatza pizza's ~ delicious!!

As a 30+ year Bay Area resident, we all have our favorites, but if you're willing to shake it up and try something new, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. First time popping in to try their Roman style pizza and so glad we did. Bellied up to the bar to start with a draft stout for me and a hazy for my bf, with a lovely view of their green faux living wall. We thoroughly enjoyed their Smokehouse Meatza pizza and the Burrata Love Affair as well. The small size was bigger than we thought it'd be, which is great. They have a couple beers on tap and several other selections in the fridge. If you like the pizza & good beer combo this place is solid. Friendly and fast service too. All around a fabulous experience and we will be back.

Quiet area and solid pizza! No slices/lunch special on the weekends. Craft beer in the fridge and few options on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Second time here.. headed to a show in S.F. GET THE LEMON PEPPER WINGS! AMAZING! Pizza too! Everything was great. We definitely will be back soon!

Second visit here, and it's a great spot for a relaxed afternoon with the family…read more Headlands is right near the Pleasant Hill BART station, so it's an easy walk if you're coming by train. If you're driving, there's a parking lot shared with the neighboring office buildings, and this is the one downer: it isn't free. The lot runs on Metropolis Parking, so you'll need to create an account since it's automated and tracks your license plate. Scan the QR code at the register to validate one free hour. Otherwise it's $2.50 an hour plus a $1.50 service fee. We stayed 1 hour and 44 minutes and paid $4 after the complementary hour, so it's not terrible, just a hassle to set up. The ambiance is my favorite part. It's entirely outdoors, but there's plenty of shade. We went on a Sunday with football on, and once the Niners game started they put it on all the TVs and turned the game audio on too. The space is split into three distinct areas: an adults-only deck that's slightly elevated, a family and kids section along the outer fence, and a main middle area open to everyone. It's family and dog friendly, and both times we've visited there have been lots of kids, so keep that in mind if you want a more adult environment. Since it's strictly outdoors, a rainy or cold day could be a tough time to visit, but when the weather is nice it's a great place to grab a beer, a bite, and some sports. Ordering is flexible. You can order at the main counter, or scan the unique QR code at your table, order from your phone, and they'll bring everything right to you. My wife and I each had a different hazy IPA and both were good, and the overall beer selection is nice. On the food side, the burgers are above average but not spectacular. The fries were the better side: crispy and well seasoned with a spice blend. The Oreo and brownie cheesecake was a hit, and my wife and son devoured it. Prices are reasonable for the area, and the food and beer both hold up for what you pay. Overall, it's a fun, laid-back spot for families, dog owners, and sports fans, with a great setup. Just plan for the parking process.

The ambiance was awesome too, especially the great conversation with the bartender. Just a very chill, homey vibe. I'd definitely frequent here more often if I lived closer. A few pieces of constructive feedback: * The Butter Chicken Tacos were a bit underseasoned and needed a little more acidity * A spirits menu would be a nice complement, or even flight options * More rum options Will definitely try to come back. Fantastic drink. My friend tasted mine and ordered the same. The selection is the draw here. Whiskey lines the entire back wall, the rarer bottles sit behind wire-mesh locked cabinets, and there is a deep bench of tequila, beer on tap, and wine to round things out. One look at the shelves tells you they have the base for any drink you want. We split the Margherita flatbread, pesto, fresh mozzarella, and blistered cherry tomatoes, and it hit the spot as a drinking snack. The menu goes deeper than expected for a bar, with sliders, naan tacos, and charcuterie if you show up hungry. Service was good considering the staff-to-crowd ratio. Sevan stayed attentive the whole time and clearly knows his stuff. The vibe is chill and conversation-friendly, not too loud for the size of the room, with a bank of TVs toward the back if you want to catch a game. Logistics are easy. The bar sits a short walk from Pleasant Hill BART and parking in the area was no trouble. I've been a few times before and this visit confirmed why I keep coming back. For a high quality cocktail in the East Bay, this is the spot.

It's a great spot for a group or a celebration. My only issue is that the food is inconsistent. I usually order the spicy jambalaya with champagne or a cocktail. More often than not, the shrimp seem undercooked, and the dim lighting makes it hard to tell. During my visit last night, the shrimp still looked gray and didn't appear fully cooked. The temperature of the dish was also all over the place some bites were hot, others were lukewarm, and some were room temperature. I'm not sure if it was an off night or a change in the kitchen, but this isn't the first time I've been disappointed with the food. I enjoy the atmosphere and service, but I'd really like to see more consistency coming out of the kitchen. The food should be just as good as the vibe.

This past weekend I got a chance to try it with my boyfriend, who's already had it once before. We decided to go in around 8pm on a Saturday. We attempted to call beforehand to check in with how busy the restaurant was as we were both starving and wanted food asap! We weren't able to get past their automated answer choices, so we decided to take a risk and go in. Upon arrival, it was a joy to see that there was not many people eating as well as no waitlist to be seated. We got seated immediately by what seems to be the restaurant manager. He was nice and made us feel welcome. Our server for the night whom I forgot the name of, was sweet and responsive to our needs as well! We were pleasantly surprised by how empty the restaurant was. We both ordered burgers, which my bf had recommended to me based on the one other time he came. Our food came out so quickly, I would say just around 10 minutes! I got their "Eureka! American" with cheddar cheese rather than swiss. Oh my gosh, it was one of the best burgers I've had! It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My bf got the Bacon Jalapeño Jam Burger which he liked, but said the bread was almost too sweet for his liking. It's also worth noting that their bathrooms were super clean and taken care of, which is usually not the case at these type of restaurants. I can't wait to come back and try their truffle fries next! I definitely wish I tried them that night but it just gives me an excuse to come back!
