    Pesto Gorgonzola Pasta

The portions are huge and perfect for sharing with friends or family. The servers were very accommodating and checked on us often while even suggesting a few things from the menu that we might like. The pesto Gorgonzola was so delicious! It was creamy and savory with the perfect amount of flavor. Definitely a great spot to eat if you are looking to enjoy a big meal with the people you love. Very affordable too!

    Chicken cacciatore was delish!

So glad we ate there last night, 2 February 2025. It had been 25+ years since we'd been there since no longer live in the east bay and their San Mateo branch closed many years ago. Reviews both on Yelp and Google were very mixed with either love it or hate it. Very glad I went with my gut feelings. Minestrone as starter was good; not great. The mains of chicken cacciatore for me and pasta Bolognese for my wife were both excellent! My wife liked my cacciatore better than her Bolognese but I thought they both rocked. I didn't catch our male server's name but he was also great and attentive without being too visible. Super glad we ate at Pasta Primavera after soooo many years.

    Dinner Rolls !

Out to dinner with my sister. There was only one waiter. The restaurant filled up fast with still only one waiter. Unfortunately, we were quickly served our appetizer and dinner order with no dinner rolls and butter. Our drinks were never refreshed and parmesan cheese was only given upon request. It was very difficult to get the waiter attention but I was finally able to order a dinner meal to go. When the order to go came, I checked the bag No Dinner Roll. I requested the dinner roll and also requested the 2 rolls that were not receive with our eat-in meals. The waiter seemed annoyed but took the "to go" bag and returned it quickly. I assumed the dinner rolls were received and we paid a left. The following picture shows the rolls I received in the "to go" bag. Disgusting !

Has some of my favorite local Italian food. They redid the interior some years back and it looks very classy inside. It can get a little loud in the dining room which is why I'll usually just order pick up but we went there last Friday night to dine in and had a wonderful date. The butternut squash ravioli is one of the most amazing dishes I've ever had, been ordering it since I was a kid.

    After Dinner Delight

I went here for the first time to avoid heavy traffic and I'm so happy I stopped by. I sat at the bar and ordered the house salad which was delicious and had the right amount of dressing (I usually ask for it on the side, but didn't this time). The Sauvignon Blanc was local, from Napa and really refreshing. I followed up with the Margherita Pizza. I only ate half but it was cooked perfectly! I was too full for an actual dessert so I settled for an "after dinner delight" it's similar to a Grasshopper (drink) and it was so delicious. I haven't had one of those in years. The bartender was so kind and packaged my remaining food and a tiramisu as well! I enjoyed my experience so much and can't wait to return! Great service and yummy dishes!

The beer was ok and got there halfway through our meal, which was disappointing. The seasoning for the fries was super bland to me. The pretzel was pretty good too. Service: 3/5. The person when we entered was super friendly. The rest of the service was just super slow and seemed disorganized. You order through QR code at your table. Our drinks got delivered about halfway through our meal, which was disappointing since we were mostly there for the beer. Atmosphere: 3.5/5. The actual brewery can be a fun spot, however I felt seating was uncomfortable and tables were small for our beverages and food. We liked the play area for the kids since we had our kids with us, but wish there were more toys that were updated and not broken. Parking is a bit of a hassle. The place was packed at 4pm on a weekday. Kid friendly: 4/5. It is a brewery... so I wasn't expecting it to be so kid friendly, but it really caters to parents wanting to go out with their kids. The kids area is perfect to keep kids somewhat contained and away from adults that do not want kids to interrupt them. Most of the toys are really rugged and somewhat broken, but appreciate that it is there. This was our first time, so now that we know what to expect I would love to give this place another shot!

I wanted to come here while I was pregnant because they have a HUGE selection of non-alcoholic drinks & cocktails. But we ended up checking it out after & appreciate their low alcohol options as well. For drinks, we started with a ESPRESSO MARTINI-LO (cold brew, vermouth di torino, px sherry, salt, maple, dark chocolate shavings) & a DIRTY BIRD (manzanilla sherry, veso olive vermouth, black lemon, parsley oil). Both were unique & very delicious! We ordered the small mezze plate that comes with 2 different dips of your choice. We opted for the whipped feta (with honey & fermented chili oil) & the charred eggplant (with roasted garlic, greek yogurt, sesame, & herbs). The concept is great, mocktails and low-alcoholic cocktails and lots of N/A wines and beers with a full vegetarian fusion menu. It just doesn't quite deliver. I had the bean patty burger and it wasn't flavorful. I ended up stealing my husband's ghost pepper harissa sauce and slathering it on. The butternut squash soup was not bad. He had the impossible kefte which he said was pretty good. The mocktails were okay. I had the pica pica and it could've used more spice and flavor. Tasted like a very refreshing cucumber and soda water rather than a mocktail. My husband was disappointed with his mock old fashioned. Beautifully presented but really not much there without the bourbon/whiskey. He wants to try the low alcohol version next time. This place might consider leaning more into the flavors of the Indian side of their fusion idea. And one tip on the service -- they could hold back a little. They were overly eager and kept interrupting our conversations and pushing more food on us. Might give them a few months and try again to see if they've improved.
