I'm excited to see Sharetea introducing new items on their menu, including a take on the classic Halo-Halo. It didn't take me long to give it a try. I also noticed that their prices seem to have dropped a bit--at one point, drinks were creeping up into the $9 range, which felt very steep. As for the Halo-Halo drink itself, I really like the concept. It's a taro-coconut milk tea loaded with toppings like boba, egg pudding, lychee jelly, and maybe a few others I forget. The drink was surprisingly not too sweet--which isn't a bad thing--but I personally would've preferred a sweeter flavor profile to better match the traditional Halo-Halo flavor. Still, the overall taste was nice and mellow. They also offer an "ice blended" version of the Halo-Halo, which I imagine might be closer to the real deal. This is my go-to for boba whenever I'm in the Concord area since there aren't a lot of boba spots here. This location is consistent with other Sharetea locations. The drinks and tea quality are not super special compared to other premium boba spots, but your cravings will be satisfied. My favorite drink at Sharetea in general is the mango green milk tea with boba. I always get 30% sweetness and less ice. The boba here has a good chewy consistency. It has also come out fresh and warm even when ordering about one hour from closing on the weekend. You can also pay to split your drink into two smaller cups which is a nice option! read more

Yeah I'm sorry but our drinks were watered down and not good at all. We got here about 30 minutes prior to the posted closing time to get a hot drink after dinner. My wife tried to order a drink that was labeled "Hot Available". However they said "we can't do that one hot". Makes no sense why they had a hot option when they can't even/don't want to do it. At least provide us with a reason why you can't do it. It didn't take long to get our drinks, but when we did they weren't even hot. I grabbed my cup and thought "this isn't even hot". It's like they mixed hot tea with cold milk and became luke warm. On top of that, my wife said her tongue felt tingly after drinking her drink. Can't speak to why, but we've been to other sharetea spots and this is the first time that's happened. I'm starting to think that maybe it's just this location. I'll say the boba was good at least. I think this is a place to bring kids for a treat, not tea or tapioca for boba fans. The tapioca tasted off, like the pre-cooked 5-minute kind. I got the green milk tea, supposedly jasmine. The service here is really fast, but the flavor of this drink was overly sweet considering I got 50% sweet. I took 2 sips and ended up throwing the rest away because the quality just isn't there. I'm not sure what the fascination is with this place. The pearls have zero taste. I've tried giving this place multiple tries and sometimes my drink has ice that fills 3/4 of the cup with the drink. There was only one worker and the machine wasn't on for the employee to be notified that an online order was made. Employee turned it on after I told the emp that I had placed an online order. Employee didn't say anything else, but went back to the sink and started cleaning or etc. Perhaps, the employee was preparing the boba, but I'm not sure. I always enjoy Sharetea and glad there is a location in downtown Concord. They have a parking lot so no need to find street parking. I usually older a Roasted Milk tea with grass jelly. 30% sweet is not super sweet at all. Have also enjoyed their fruit teas but I usually get 0% sweet because 30% tends to be too sweet with all the syrups. Their coffee crema is also yummy. My usual is the Okinawa milk tea or Jasmine milk tea. However, I was feeling adventurous and wanted to try something new, so I tried the Ginger milk tea. OMG it's my new favorite! There is only a hint of ginger flavor and a small amount of ginger pieces throughout the drink, which is the perfect amount, as ginger can easily overpower anything it's added to. Came here in the evening and was looking to satisfy my boba craving, but was very disappointed. I got the hot classic pearl milk tea, and I got a hard piece of boba upon my first sip. The boba was not very soft nor QQ. When I was waiting for my drink, I saw the guy scooping boba into a cup, and the boba was clumpy. Yikes. This is an update: still our go to place. It tastes amazing every time! Regular sweetness, less ice, and happiness! Their boba is always on point in texture snd they do not skimp on it. We have been ordering the mango milk tea with lychee jelly (my daughter's fav) and I usually get the mango green tea with lychee jelly or passion fruit mango green tea with lychee jelly. So addicting and so satisfying we always stop if we are in the area. Love that they have a loyalty reward system which makes it even better! I love coming to this place because it's so convenient. There is plenty of parking even though it's in todos santos, and they make their drinks so fast! Was looking for boba tonight and well...I found it. I guess. First off, location wise, it's pretty accessible with plenty of parking around where it's at. That said...covid protocols are in place...but it's pretty badly enforced? Like they have one small sign at the front door saying 6 people only. But it's easily missed. So when a bunch of girls entered all in one go, I thought that you could go in. By the time the girls were thinking they were in line (there were a total of 5 of them, but the two smaller groups were distanced), a guy working at the store kicked us all out saying it was only 6 people allowed. I have no qualms with that. But when there's only one sign on the front door and it's dark outside, bit hard to see. Once I was able to get to the cashier to order, another issue is the music is so loud that you're basically having to yell your order what with face masks being worn...so perhaps a good idea to turn it down just a bit? As far as my order goes, I ordered a taro fresh milk...in which...this has me confused. First off, most fresh taro milk or taro fresh milk is straight up liquid and taro with a heavy taste of taro. This one however...has ice blended in? What? Why? When I got my order, I tried it after I left and while it is sweet, it basically tastes like sweet milk with sweetened boba. There was just about no taste of boba aside from the fact taro pieces were inside the drink. So...how??? Real taro and the rest of the drink is so sweetened that you can't even taste taro? On top of that, there was so much ice blended in, it's not even fresh milk but rather like a taro smoothie...I've had taro drinks from various boba places and even quickly has a stronger taro taste and that's artificial. So if you're looking for a taro milk drink, definitely head towards i-Tea. Infinite times better. Sad to say, I was pretty disappointed with the drink. Definitely not what I had in mind when I think of taro milk. Perhaps other flavored drinks are better? I can't account for that since this was my first time. I don't know why (maybe I've been a bit spoiled from boba tea places), I've tended to be really disappointed with my drinks at Sharetea lately. My visits in the past couple of months, and even years, have solidified Sharetea as a "just okay" place to get boba or tea -- to get a quick-fix, one with a friend, or when the craving hits -- yet it's not the best and I'm never fully satisfied with what I get. I tend to go for more flavored teas these days -- a nice honey lemon green tea or, for a treat, any variation of a green milk tea with boba. I've realized they tend to douse all their drinks with tons of sugar. Even as I got a half-sweet kiwi lemon tea, it tasted full sweetness that I ended up bringing it home and mixing in my own homemade iced green tea in it... and it watered it down to refill the cup twice! It's definitely sweet and sugary and caters to kids and anyone craving it, but don't expect high quality teas. I knew there was a Sharetea location nearby, but I didn't realize how close it was! The office is nearby, literally across the street, so a group of us decided to go grab boba as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. Upon entry, there were quite a few customers already inside, ordering and waiting for their drinks/orders. The staff that assisted were friendly and helped answer any questions I had. I ended up getting the Thai Iced Tea with boba without making any adjustment, but it was offered - I figured I could try it their way the first time before making any changes. Honestly, it was really good! And their boba is fantastic! You can tell it is freshly made. I would probably ask for easy ice next time since the boba tends to harden with colder drinks. The wait to get our drinks wasn't too long, probably less than 5 minutes, and there were 5-6 other people in the store before us. I was told you can also place your order ahead of time on their website or Clover if you anticipate the store being busy or you're on a time crunch. Sharetea is one of my favorite boba spots in downtown Concord. I like how you can order your brewed tea and milk tea "hot". They also offer fresh milk drinks which are non caffeinated. My usual order is the Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea. It is made with brown sugar. I get mine with regular sweetness and less ice. It tastes slightly sweet, with hints of strong tea taste. Another one of my favorites is the Mango and Passionfruit Green Tea with lychee added. It is sweet and refreshing. Their toppings cost an additional 50 cents: Egg Pudding-The egg pudding is soft and melts in your mouth! They are generous with the amount of egg pudding since I still have more remaining when I'm almost finished with my drink. Boba- While waiting for my drink, I have seen them in the process of making boba. So I appreciate that it's being made-to-order, and knowing that my drink will have fresh tapioca pearls. Just a shorter update since my previous one. Been back a little less than a handful of times since the last review. While it's been mostly more consistent now, with the occasional experience that has been subpar, one thing that I can say for sure in regards to the service; the owner cares about the business. It's nice to know that the owner of this Sharetea does make a clear effort in making sure to provide the best experience they are able to provide to their customers, and not afraid to recognize places that needs improvement, and taking in feedback as well. Certainly will continue to come back to this location as it is one of the first big named boba places to have arrived in our little WC/Concord/PH tri-area on this side of the Bay. Even after all these years, it really hasn't changed much, and I say that in a good way. Consistency is difficult to maintain after so many years, and considering how things have been going in this past year, it's still good to know that this business is still intent on ensuring that the quality is there, or do what they can to get there. Tried a mango/passion fruit today for the first time. Certainly an interesting combination that I didn't really think would pair all that well together, but it did work in the end. The dude and I came to Sharetea when we were in town for a Jo Koy comedy show in San Francisco at the Chase Center a day after Valentines Day 2020. So we we were craving boba so Sharetea got pretty good reviews and they had a Taro drink. When we arrived we were greeted by staff and a new staff member was in training who took our order. Which I always support new workers as it takes longer which is fine as I know how it feels to be a new employee and being trained! Which they all were doing such a great job and great customer service. I found out...I'm not sure if this is just a Concord, Ca or a California thing as I learned that they tax those who are dining in and not those for take out! Which I never heard of before which the dude and I were surprised. Any who we opted "to go" as it was just drinks and our next stop was visiting the dudes family. Any who I customized my order to add ice cream as I feel it has an extra creamy texture to it. I opted for almond milk which to me is a healthier alternative to 100% dairy milk. The dudes drink was pretty good which was the Taro blended with ice cream. I opted to get Matcha Green tea blended with almond milk and ice cream which was pretty good.
