I've been here twice. Both time there was a line but it was moving fast, I absolutely love the ambience and the outdoor seating area. I got lavender skies drink - hot- and it was yummy. The staff were also very friendly. Today I got the same drink, and accidentally spilled it outside. This place is absolutely bustling around the time I went so I couldn't really get good photos of the inside. I have to say that the inside is very cute and chic though. If you want to sit inside though, do come early because there are limited tables and then a bench to sit on inside. I have to say that the staff were very nice and helpful. There aren't a whole lot of pastry/food options that I have seen there but there are a couple of interesting selections like a crème brûlée style pastry, a cookie, etc. The limited selection looks good though! The drinks are the main reason to come. :) I was debating on the triple berry matcha and the thank you berry matcha which is just essentially normal strawberry matcha. I decided to get the normal matcha and it was YUM! I downed that drink so fast and I wish I had more. I don't know if they do alternate milks since the original had oat milk in it, so you would have to ask. I'm not particularly picky with my milks and even opt for whole milk typically but the oat milk for the strawberry matcha worked well. Also, the seating outside is incredible so I do foresee myself coming back. One other thing-- make sure you get validation because the parking structure would be expensive without it! I've heard of KIT from lots of UCI students and so I wanted to give it a try. I exceeded all my expectations! The ambiance and vibes are so cute. The service is also so kind! You can tell that the staff definitely works hard to make connections and conversations with their customers. I got the Thank You Berry Matcha which was chefs kiss! I love sweet drinks and this was perfect. I just got into matcha so it wasn't too strong either which I liked It was the perfect sweetness for me! I also got the Cilantro Fried Rice which was so good! It had bacon in it and the rice had some crisp to it. You can get parking validated for 1 hr I believe! I love kit coffee! My team orders from here often and we all enjoy the drinks they have to offer. Place is cute and kind of small but there is plenty of seating outside. My favorite is the thank you berry matcha which is a strawberry matcha which is yummy with the right amount of matcha and sweetness. The arugula salad is also good and the banana bread. Overall, it tasted refreshing, it would be great on a hot day. Lavender-forward flavor with the matcha quietly sitting in the background. It was slightly on the sweeter side, but I think it needed the added sweetness to balance the lavender and matcha marriage. A little bit of sugar goes a long way. CAPPUCCINO Got excited to try their Coava Coffee here, but I was disappointed. It was a dark roast that did not appeal to my tastes. It was dark with no personality. I've decided that instead of dumping the whole thing, I poured it into my lavender-forward Lavender Fields and I barely noticed it! That's how strong the iced matcha-lavender was! CUSTOMER SERVICE Typical barista-customer service. Everyone did the minimal. It was okay. SEATS Small indoor space with very few tables and bench seats, but there are large outdoor tables and sofas which is a much better option. PARKING / ASK FOR PARKING VALIDATION No street parking, unless you want to walk a whole block or two, as this whole area is office space and have a parking garage only. KIT Coffee does give 90 minute parking validation, so please ask for it before you leave. Based on the drinks I've had, not sure I would return. Nothing stood out. read more

I was really hoping this shop would have parking since I know many coffee shops in Irvine are in corporate buildings that require you to pay for parking. Unfortunately this was one of those locations, which is one reason I don't see myself coming back. I can definitely see this being a great spot for people who work there and want a quick coffee break though. The coffee shop itself had a really nice earthy vibe to it with lots of merch and plants as decor. I also liked the one bench inside where you could wait for your drink, and there's lots of seating outdoor too. Love it! Super fun coffee menu with lots of interesting flavor combos. The drinks are on the sweeter side, so beware if you order a fun flavor. There are also a good amount of food options (the cilantro fried rice is especially good). They have a nice amount of outdoor seating that makes it great for catching up with a friend. It's located in a business center, so the vibe is a little more corporate than cozy, but still pleasant. First time trying KIT! My friend brought the drink to me, so there's not much I can comment on about the interior or the service, however, I did love my drink! I'm a huge matcha fan and was not expecting a ton , I will say. However, their matcha strawberry blew me away! The color of the matcha was a very nice dark green. Upon first sip, there was an extremely tasty hint of strawberry paired with the creaminess, smooth matcha. The flavors came together so well and it's definitely one of the better strawberry matchas I've had. Matcha was not gritty whatsoever, you could taste the quality of the powder they use. I also really like that their strawberry jam is in the milk and not separate on its own at the bottom like most places. The strawberry was also not too overpowering or sweet, I found that the drink was the perfect sweetness for me. This was a nice subtle and well put together beverage. KIT Coffee is an aesthetic and charming coffee shop with some uniquely crafted drinks. This spot is located in a more industrial and business like area. For parking, there is garage parking where you can get your parking validated for free after you make a purchase. Inside, they have a nice modern setup with a welcoming and warm ambiance. For seating, they have about 3-4 tables inside and about 7-8 tables for seating outside with a nice water fountain view. As for their menu, they have a great selection of different espresso, coffee, signature, seasonal, and organic tea drinks. In addition, they also have a selection of pastries and hot foods that you can get as well. Wifey and I pulled up for our matcha run today and got the Lavender Fields (Matcha + Blueberry Lavender Milk) and the Horchata Matcha. Both drinks had unique flavor profiles with the right amount of aromatics and sweetness. Overall, we enjoyed the vibes and the drinks they have here. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. KIT coffee is such a special find for quality matcha! I am picky when it comes to matcha, but it truly passes the color test and quality of matcha used! It is tucked away surrounding businesses, but also good to note that they do validate the parking for the structure behind! We went around 3pm and the lines were out the door! Nonetheless the ordering and receiving my drink was fast and friendly. The cafe itself is small and probably not the best for studying, but good to hangout outside! I opted to get the strawberry matcha. I liked how they used strawberry jam mixed in the milk instead of just jam seperately. The drink itself was sweet and the matcha itself was strong! 10:52 am, random Thursday in January.... They are packed and the line is wrapping around the little store. Kit Coffee is my life raft in the storm that is corporate work life. The store is located inside a business complex. I usually order just a hot latte with whole milk when I need a caffeine fix. Smooth and satisfying and gives me enough caffeine to tackle the rest of the afternoon. They offer pastries and an extensive food menu, which I have not tried. Croffles offered after 1pm. The staff here is super friendly and the strawberry matcha was creamy and delicious! There's a large fountain outside so it's nice to drink your coffee or matcha next to it to enjoy the relaxing sounds. It's in a large business complex so you have to park in a structure, but they do validate for 1.5 hours. read more

My daughter and I had breakfast here yesterday morning. We arrived around 10:30. We parked in the structure adjacent to Kit. They validate parking up to an hour and a half which is nice. There was a short line but quickly became quite long. The staff was nice and the place is cute. There's very limited seating inside. We did manage to get a seat inside. There's a fair amount of seating outdoors. We both had burritos. Mine was soyrizo which was large. I liked the green sauce. The red was a bit too spicy for me. I also had a pastime jasmine iced tea. I should give this place one star because it has ruined other cafes for me. I never had matcha before their Horchata Matcha and TBH don't think I like matcha outside of that drink. Does it taste like horchata? No. But it's yummy. I'm not a coffee drinker either but after having my second (and last!) baby I needed more caffeine. So I tried the strawberry wilds latte. I can barely taste any coffee. It is so sweet and delicious. I'm addicted. I work in the complex and almost feel embarrassed how often I go here. Unfortunately I don't live nearby and I've been trying all the cafes near me and have yet to find any drinks like they have here. It's very upsetting. Their toasts and burritos are great too. It's super cute inside and they had a decent amount of seating. As far as what we ordered, the bacon breakfast burrito was really good. Great coffee shop with also great food! I was a little confused about where to park as Google Maps takes you right in front of it where there's no parking whatsoever because you're in a business area, but there is a parking structure behind it and they validate. Cute interior, nice ambiance. I got a matcha latte and the lox avocado toast. Both were delicious! A solidly good matcha. The lox avo toast was standout though, it was super delicious. Came to Pro Photo and was looking for a local coffee shop and found the perfect one that was conveniently close by. I asked for a flat white with honey and they made it perfectly. The foam was silky and the milk was lightly and perfectly sweetened. My husband's boysenberry iced latte had lots of flavor without being overly sweet. Highly recommend this latte, too. The cornbread tasted literally like cornbread and the peach cobbler literally tasted like a peach cobbler. However, we did notice that the matcha was squeezed out from a bottle, but that didn't deter us from disliking it. KIT Coffee is everything you could want in a lobby coffee shop in a business complex. It is relatively quick, relatively inexpensive, has ample seating, and has nice staff. The coffee itself was good, though my pumpkin spice latte's mash (what they use to get the pumpkin taste) had an almost grainy feel. The standard latte was fine and my wife enjoyed it but it was not particularly special or memorable like some of the other Irvine coffee shops. All said, KIT is worth a stop if you work in the complex, but perhaps not if you are traveling from elsewhere. read more

Such a great coffee shop!! My strawberry milk latte was a perfect way to start my day ! It was perfectly sweet and creamy with a nice shot of espresso! No bitterness or burnt taste! My avo toast was fresh, yet still very filling and savory! The goat's cheese on top was fresh and creamy! The breakfast burrito with chorizo was so good and filling! That red salsa was amazing on there! It was so packed when we arrived, which made us a bit weary of how long it would take to get our coffee. However, they were got the line down fairly quick. I was so excited to try this place but honestly there are a few reasons why I would not come back. - The location is not ideal. It's in the middle of a business plaza, and you need to pay for parking. - I got a chai latte, and it was so bad. I couldn't take more than a few sips, and ended up throwing it away. If you are a fan of floral coffees, the lavender sky is amazing!! It is espresso with blueberry lavender milk, and it is so yummy! Some floral drinks taste like soap, but this drink was so good that I gasped when I took my first sip. The blueberry lavender milk was not too overpowering, and I was still able to taste the espresso. The inside of the shop is super cute, and there is a lot of seating outside. There is a little walk from the parking structure to the shop, but it's beautiful to see the waterfall on the way in (make sure to get your parking ticket validated). First time coming to this cute coffee shop and it was super fun! The KIT is an acronym for Keep in Touch and I really like it. Large parking structure available but luckily this KIT place validates! When you walk out from parking, you are greeted by an open courtyard and a pretty water structure. I really like the outdoor as well as the indoor ambiance! I ordered their bacon breakfast burrito and it was delish! I also got their strawberry alarm clock iced coffe. Quite interesting as it was made with 2 shots of expresso, strawberry puree, and oat milk. Who knew oat milk tasted so good! Theres also a lot of cards, stickers, and branded t-shirts for sale.
