Best Tacos in out side of Mexico! Everything is good here. But Suggest the tacos. The tacos test best with everything on it. Take out some of the ingredients, it not the same. Location for this restaurant is good. Parking lot was big and not many people were there. I got tacos and burritos. Tacos had a lot of meat but flavor was lacking in salt. I grew up on King Taco. I lived on Roseview Ave as a kid just houses away from the original King Taco #1. I don't know if the quality changes from location to location but the LB spot is terrible. The quality and taste of their food is nothing like what I remember. I've tried other locations like Bellflower, Pasadena, the spot on Olympic and those locations are better than this specific store in Long Beach. Save your money and hit up the pop up taco stand on Clark and Atherton in LB. read more

I have been to a lot of king taco locations. This one in Long Beach is ok, but not the best. The tacos are a little bit on the greasy side. Also, they tend to run out of the tamales every time I go in. The meats I usually get are carne asada, al pastor, colorado, verde, and chicken. I love king taco! I especially like the green sauce! Sometimes there is a bit of a wait at this location but they move fast. I usually get the carne asada burrito and a carnitas sope. With extra green sauce of course. Warning, they do charge you for extra green sauce which I think it's silly. This place is pretty consistent with food. Once in a while the meat taste funny but for the most part the food is always good. They seem to clean on a regular base. read more

RIP King Taco, LBC, you're dead to me!! Nice looking from the outside but..... I ordered the new Tinga meat on a Sope and a burrito. It's true they charge you for items on the side. I paid $2,00 for Jack Cheese on the side for my burrito because otherwise there would have been a lb of it in there and a couple tea spoons of meat since I didn't want rice in it. I also ordered a Sope. When I opened the box I really wasn't sure what it was. It seriously looked like someone ordered it, didn't like it, then it ended up in my order. I couldn't eat, $4.65 down the drain. So I only ate the burrito. Sadly, I have been on the hot seat all night and my stomach has been cramping. If I don't get any better soon it's off to URGENT CARE! I'm so disappointed with this location. I hadn't been there in a couple of years but it was once one of my favorites. It's obvious though that they need to do some SERIOUS SANITIZING. Be prepared for the long lines even though it's not Taco Tuesday. My wifey took me her because she wanted legit tacos so we drove all the way to Long Beach for it. She is Mexican, so she definitely knows if the tacos are authentic or not. We ordered the carnitas tacos and carne asada and one chicken tamale. It was really good. The carnitas is not shredded, by the way and come in chunks. The green sauce is spicy, but not overwhelming. It's not an avacado sauce, but salsa verde. The chicken tamale comes with the sauce. If you don't want it spicy, just ask for no sauce on it. Get a large drink. The price is not much different. My wifey ordered a Hibiscus drink. It was good. Helps balances out the spicy sauce. Service is super slow. Every time I come here there is a long line and only 1 cashier. And to make things worse the cashier is super slow and does other things...worsening the wait time. Whoever is in charge of staffing either needs basic training on how to analyze and prepare for customer traffic spikes, or needs to be replaced by someone competent enough to do the job. My friend introduced this place to me years ago and I can't stop coming back. There's always usually a line, but it's worth the wait. Tacos are savory and juicy, packed with flavor. The red hot sauce is the cherry on top. The sopes are just as amazing. I get one with every meal. Long overdue post. No other tacos compare for me and I didn't realize this until I moved outside of Long Beach. King Taco is always on my to go list now when in the area. Hands down the BEST taco I've ever had, and I've had a lot of tacos in my life! Their carne asada has never been fatty or chewy and consistently flavorful. I always get a large cup of their red sauce to go as well, it's so spicy and to die for! They also have one of the best bean and cheese burritos I've ever had as well. Located on there own lot. Parking is plentiful. Staff was very polite and courteous. I ordered 6 tacos. 2 carne asada, 2 Al pastor, and 2 chicken. All of these tacos come with cilantro, onions and fresh salsa on top. The tacos are reasonably priced. Carne asada was cooked perfectly as well as the Al pastor and the chicken. The food is great. Their sauces is what makes this place stand out. But lately this place has given me reason not to come here anymore. The first is the time it takes to get your order. It's one thing to have long lines. But from the time you paid for your order and by the time they call your number and finally get your order is a different story. No matter how long the line is, that whole process takes a minimum of 30 mins which is ridiculously long. So you are there from start to finish maybe 45 mins. And to make matters worst they are cheap when it comes to asking for more sauce and they have the nerve to charge an extra $1 for each additional sauce. Well that was the final straw especially when it comes with a little attitude when you asked for more. Fix your speed of service and your policy for extra sauce then maybe I will consider coming back. read more

This locations needs a lot of corporate management and training. There's so much downtime between orders because the cook doesn't cook food as the orders come in. The cook cooks one order at a time, with wide open spaces on the griddle. The cook heats tortillas, then cooks the meat, then cooks the sopes - in that chronological order, not all at once. After the cook finishes, assembly staff calls out the order number, waits for customers to show up to the window, then starts to assemble the order in front of the customer. It literally would have been faster for me to drive out to E.LA or Boyle Heights locations to get my food. It took 65 minutes to get my togo order - food for 2 people (not a family). And there were only 3 customers ahead of me. read more

I like the all meat asada burrito with green and or red sauce. Red sauce is so fire here and spicy. They support Long Beach Grand Prix which is nice... i like being a guy here because the ladies making your burritos are generous most of the time.
