The best quesabirria I know in Long Beach. Very tasty, especially when combined with consommé, guacamole, and sour cream. Their cabeza tacos/burritos, asada fries/nachos, and torta cubana are fine too. They have always been great with accommodating my custom requests when I order delivery too. Personally, I think Tacos Panchito has savory birria and cabeza, so these meat options go well in their classic dishes like tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas...Their asada and grilled chicken are good too but can be a bit on the dry side, so better to have those in fusion dishes like fries, nachos, or something with plenty of sauces. Their salsas are great - especially the yellow habanero. I like their yellow salsa a lot, but can't take too much heat so typically I mix 2 green:1 yellow for my plates from them. Note: I am not a friend or relative, or in any way related personally to this restaurant. I am just a regular customer. Yes, Tacos Panchitos only offers delivery and looks like a warehouse, but their foods are better than some nicer & pricier Mexican traditional restaurants I know. You just need to explore their large menu to find out what fit your taste. read more

Just really bland Mexican food I got a wet burrito and it had no flavor. Also ordered a Jamaica and it tasted like it was a diet version of it. My wife ordered a flan. Had the texture of cream of wheat. Disappointed read more

I really tried to give this place multiple chances, but at this point I'm done. Every time I order delivery, something is missing, wrong, or completely different from what I paid for. It's frustrating when you spend money expecting a simple, accurate order and it shows up incorrect again and again. I've contacted the restaurant before and nothing ever changes. No attention to detail, no consistency, and no effort to fix ongoing mistakes. read more

They have gone downhill! The owner offered me "whatever I want" when I sent him a video of my order, but when I tried to order he claims I had an issue with a previous order so the offer didn't stand anymore. I can have a free drink. So... it's my fault that my order was wrong and poorly made and I had the nerve to complain. I hope they go out of business! If a customer has an issue with an order more than once and send you pics and a video and you AGREE that it's unacceptable, that's not a reflection of the customer it's YOUR restaurant and YOUR employees that are the problem. Got birria torta, nachos, and family meal. I think eveything was good except the family meal. Asada was dry. Birria torta was already soften when it came here but man the meat was so good. I was craving carne asada fries today and I came across this place on grubhub and they offered a coupon. When I got to the location to pick up my order during the time frame, it wasn't ready yet and I think I had to wait around 10-15 minutes. My only complaint is I would recommend them being more transparent with when the food will be ready. But it was worth the wait cause the carne asada fries were bomb and it came with a lot for a good price. One order of carne asada fries can be shared with 2-3 people. Overall, this is my favorite place to get carne asada fries and I can't wait to come back to try other things from the menu. read more

So, I recently placed an order with Tacos Panchito while visiting the LBC. You can imagine my horror (after placing a $40 order) to discover I placed an order with Tacos Panchito in Corona...NOT Long Beach! Mortified, I got on the phone with the Corona location to try to cancel the order, in hopes of both not wasting food and getting a refund. While I waited to speak with a manager, my BF jumped on his phone to place an order with the LBC location. As for the Corona order, I eventually spoke with Rami, who was super nice and helped me without any issues. (I was so relieved! I'm not made of money.) Rami also went out of his way to help us navigate how to pick up our order from their Long Beach "Cloud Kitchen," which was a first-time experience for us, so we were super grateful. Rami dazzled yet again when he text me about an hour later to ask how our food was! Let me tell you, that level of customer service is never a requirement for me, but BOY do I SUPER appreciate it. As for the food from LBC, SO BOMB! And I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. I like as "traditional" as I can get, even when I eat texmex/taqueria style Mexican food. My BF and I had a little Mexican Picnic at our hotel and were happy, happy campers. We got the family meal for 2 and a quesadilla. Damn that quesadilla was fire! read more

So disappointed. Drove out of my way for their wet burrito. Specifically requested less rice on my burrito. Still got a burrito of predominantly rice. When I brought it to the counter asking for more beans in order to make the ratio of rice to well everything else the front desk person went to the kitchen but they said no they would not fix it. I was very clear that I was not happy with and did not like the burrito. I was not assisted in any way. Went down the street to the Mexican food truck. Credit card orders minimum $5 for stupid beans. Ugh. Initially thought I discovered my new favorite place. Instead so disappointed. I've never had a restaurant not fix my order and I don't cook so eat out the majority of the time. read more

Update: I'm kind of disappointed with my recent orders. I thought they were a spoof, so I didn't address them. This is the third ir fourth order of asada plate I get. The first one was amazing. The second one was very tasty also, but the meat was served differently. It was cut into strips and the second time it was a single piece of asada steak. This third time? Just chopped meat like taco meat with more fat than before. The taste is okay, also good, but I don't appreciate the ground beef texture. And what happened to the home made tortillas? This was the main reason I kept ordering from you guys? Please stay consistent. I won't be ordering again soon. If I do, I'll call to ask what the order will look like this time. WOW! Let me start by saying that I'm a good cook and I am very picky when eating out. Tacos Panchito nailed it! They know customer service and they know their seasonings. I was having a difficult time ordering using the Door Dash app. I sent a message to the business using Yelp and didn't expect an answer. I started to prepare an order with a different restaurant when the owner responded to my message and wanted to make things right. He fixed the Door Dash menu and I ordered. I don't live near this restaurant. I live on the other side of LB and expected the order to take a little longer, but it didn't because they started it right away. I opened the bag and to my surprise, the food was not in styrofoam packaging! Great! The food is still very hot and the presentation is good. Nothing is sloppy. Taste is the most important. I rank it above customer service lol, but anyway. Bomb. Asada, perfect. Juicy and flavorful and not salty or fatty. Salsa? I ordered the extra spicy and it's delicious. No after-taste and homemade. I'm used to making spicier foods, so it was edible and perfect. Didn't burn my tongue, but don't take it from me because I have a high tolerance. Their horchata tastes homemade and if it isn't, they fooled me because I make it at home and it tastes the same. Like another reviewer said, try it! They have few reviews, but they're new. I know we get into the habit from ordering from the same so-so places just because it's familiar. But it's worth it to venture out and find a gem like this place once in a while. This won't be my last order! Especially not during quarantine. I'll be ordering out a lot and when I'm craving Mexican, which is always, I'll order from Tacos Panchito! You should too! Delicious! I ordered the carnitas wet burrito and guacamole and chips. I think it's important to give our local places a try in these trying times do don't let the minimal reviews sway you. Give them a chance! I ordered on postmates and got $3 off $15. Sweet deal! Just FYI, the wet burrito came with green sauce even tho the picture was red. I would suggest having the option to choose when adding the item. Luckily I like green and red sauce. read more

After my order was already 1 hour late, the store cancelled my order without an explanation. My Dasher told me that they made my order and was about to get it. But another 30 minutes went by and the Dasher was still waiting for the order. And then I received a cancelation notice. It had nothing with them about to close because this place wasn't going to close for another 6 hours. All that I ordered was a veggie burrito and two chicken tacos. How they messed that up is beyond me. If the owner can provide me with a valid explanation for this, I will be happy to remove the review. read more

Ordered delivery & so impressed with portion size! I personally think with how large their servings are, it's definitely worth what you pay for. The only down side for me was the wait to get my food. Since I got it delivered, the driver communicated to me that the food was taking longer than expected. It took about 30+ mins for the driver to get my food, plus delivery time. All in all, I had to wait an hour & I didn't think it would take that long considering I ordered late at night. I tried the cheese enchilada which comes with rice & beans, as well as the Carne Asada Supreme fries. The cheese enchilada was great! It comes with 3 and I found it was just the rice amount of rice & beans. For the Asada fries, they definitely weren't stingy when it comes to the meat. Every bite you got a taste of everything that was included. One serving of fries is good to share with 2-3 people! I personally thought there was nothing special about the fries (in terms of taste) compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

Decided to try this place yesterday evening because it has good reviews and it's close by my house but my wet burrito was not wet. Which was annoying. Overall it had good flavor but the tortilla was soggy and it just fell apart when I added lime and salsa. I also ordered rice and beans for my family but the beans were overly salty. All in all, I had heart burn all night and couldn't sleep. I wasn't even going to write a review but here I am the next morning at work with the runs, stomach cramps and no appetite. Definitely will never be ordering from here again. My bf ordered 3 tacos de asada and he had heartburn all night as well. read more

A delicious surprise! The chorizo tacos were so tasty and just the right kind of greasy! The onions and carrots were fresh and omg that habanero salsa is SPICY but it is a must!!! The nachos were so good too! You get the option of choosing the kind of cheese you want on the nachos, this option is so helpful when you want a taco feel for your nachos. Tacos Panchito is not a dine-in restaurant, it is located in an industrial building with not much signage. Panchitos is a solid 3 overall. The food is decent and it comes very nicely packaged. I'm not particularly impressed by the asada, though the spice in the red spicy salsa is great. However, I am giving it a 4 because the birria and consome are both excellent. I'd reorder many times just for those. I strongly recommend you order things with birria. read more

this was my first time trying tacos panchito. we ordered lunch for the ladies in our office at del rey md. on behalf of all of us here, we would like to say thank you for an excellent, tasty, and fresh authentic lunch. everyone was thrilled with their selection. the shrimp ceviche, california burrito, shrimp tacos, surf and turf tacos, chicken tacos, caldo de pollo, asada burrito, carne asada tacos, the rice and beans, all of the drinks, and the churro cheesecake. if your looking for a fresh new taste in food, this is the place. we will be ordering again and be repeat happy customers here. this is food you slowly eat and savor every bite and the way it tastes! thank you soooo much!!! the churro cheesecake and surf and turf tacos were my favorite!!! it was absolutely perfect! read more

I've ordered from Tacos Panchito 3 times now and have been extremely impressed each time. I used to dream of Los Compadres but Tacos Panchito has taken my dreams to a new level. Prices are super reasonable. Portions are much more than you would expect. I'm seriously going to get fat eating here because everything is so good you want to finish it. This is what I've tried so far: Shrimp Ceviche - made with whole shrimp that let you see how fresh they really are - you might consider cutting them before serving to make it more chip friendly. Carnitas Nachos - the portion is large enough for 3-4 people as a dinner. Loaded with perfectly cooked shredded carnitas. I am super picky about protein sources and there was not a single piece of fatty meat in there. Albondigas Soup - comes with all the fixings - a nice surprise. The hot red salsa is delicious if you like spicy. Guacamole - delicious and FRESH - I'd swear it was made when I ordered it. Although I will say their chips are nothing special. Carnitas Wet Burrito - huge and nice presentation considering it's take out. Now let me explain a little about their location. It is located at 1388 Daisy Ave. There is no store front. Pick-up and delivery only. It is a shared space with about 30 different brands that have individual kitchens inside. So if you are like me and my husband - and nearly always disagree on what you want to eat - it is a dream come true - as he orders what he wants and I order Tacos Panchito. read more

I had the grilled shrimp tacos and they had no flavor what-so-ever. I had to squeeze all the limes given with the order of tacos to give them a bit of taste but that only helped a little bit, so I drenched them with the rest of the green chile, which did not have any flavor either. I was really disappointed with my food. Anyway, the pozole and the mulitas were decent and the only reason why this review has 3 stars. I'm not sure I would give this place a second chance, but if I do, I'm definitely not ordering the grilled shrimp tacos again. read more

This place is AMAZING! My husband & I were in LB for the weekend and looking for some place to eat that delivered. We were looking at the menu and had some questions, so I called the restaurant. So we ordered our food and was waiting for delivery. My BF was full on craving tacos one night - I'd heard about this place through a LB Food Scene group on FB and decided to give them a try - I ordered the Family Feast - and wow is it correctly named!! You get to choose your protein (there are a LOT of options - we got the asada) and then corn or flour tortillas (we went with corn to get that "street taco" feel) and with that you get all the sides (beans/rice) and fixin's for a solid 4-5 people - since it was just the BF and I, we got to enjoy this delicious treat 2 times off the same order. Not only did it arrive when I'd requested BUT I got a follow up email asking how I liked it - I dig this place and will definitely be ordering again! read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time a few days ago. This place will definitely hit the taco craving spot. My husband and I got the 1/2 pound of asada to share, while he got asada fries and I tried a chorizo mulita. Everything was yummy but I have two things that made me take a star off 1) you pay $1.00 extra for a tiny salsa. (Maybe throw in 2 for that....just a suggestion) and 2) although the asada was good, it could have had a little more flavor. I will say the salsas are sooo good. Seriously some of the best I have had. The habenero was my favorite and my husband liked the spicy red. The green was good too but we like some spice. So although the asada wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped, the salsa made yfor it. Everything else was perfect (even the special requests). We will be eating here again and trying other meats. Update 2: We ordered again and was not disappointed. We ordered a 1/2 pound of carnitas and chorizo and I got a buche mulita. Everything was delicious! I also requested the spicier salsas instead of the mild and received them no problem. There is tons of meat leftover and we will be using it and their salsas for chiliquiles tomorrow for breakfast. Update 3: So we tried the al pastor in a mulita , the tinga tostada and the ceviche. Loved the al pastor someone mentioned it was too fatty in another review but usually a fattier cut is used when making al pastor, so I dont mind because it gives it flavor. I really loved it. I am very picky about my al pastor (only like it at one other spot) and this is probably my favorite. My husband and I liked the tinga tostada but we probably wont order it again because its not as big as we hoped. The ceviche was very good...it almost had a Mexican shrimp cocktail feel. Very refreshing. Cant wait to update when we try the other meats. One thing my hubby does miss is having spicy carrots, radishes and cucumber to munch on. We will have to make sure we have some on hand next time. Update 4: Ordered the birria and suadero (I hope thats what its called) in our mulitas. We loved those too...very good flavoring. In addition, we got some pickled carrots we were not expecting. Love this place! read more

I work at a nearby hospital and make late night orders for my department every so often. I've made orders from other taco spots in the area, but my new favorite has got to be this spot. The meat isn't dry, but also not too oily, and I really like that we can order meat by the pound so it makes it easier to order for larger parties.
