Really delicious tacos! The service was really nice and answered all of our questions. I will say there is very limited seating, they only have a small outdoor seating area so it's definitely more of a place to get takeout from. The tacos were a little pricey for the size of them but they were very tasty!

Love this tacos spot! I always passes by this place since it's in my neighborhood. Decided to visit for lunch by myself. Glad I went during non busy hours because I was able to meet the owner and got served quickly. He kindly explained to me what's in their tacos and which one was his favorite. Super friendly made me comfortable while eating. My personal preference lean towards the Bistek en Salsa Roja consisting of steak, tomatoes, and red peppers. The other one I ordered is the steak Picado. Small tacos for $4.50, but they are packed with meats. I got full from one taco. Very good and didn't disappoint me. Menu options offered pork, chicken, chorizo, and even vegan. The hibiscus flower tea is so refreshing! Took the rest home and added some lemonade. They had outside seatings. Super cute! Was a bit windy so I just sat inside. Definitely enjoyed my experience and can't wait to go back.

Continuing on to finding "thee" breakfast burrito (you can see my last review), this one was much tastier than the last place. The bacon in this burrito was good. My main complaint was the size. I'm not sure the picture does it justice but it was quite small. When I took it out of the bag I was pretty surprised (and disappointed) at how puny it looked. The guy helping me was nice and I'm not ruling out going back to try something else but for $10.50 I won't get the burrito again as the price didn't match the size. I would say it was worth $6ish.

Guisado opened up a new location by my house a while ago and i finally got to try it again. The food was extremely fresh and lived up the legacy of the original location. The restaurant is a smaller little building but has a nice outdoor patio and a few indoor seating options. The cashier was a great help in us deciding what types of meats to go with, and our food was brought fairly quick given the rush. Our total was about 50$ for just 7 small street tacos and drinks but it was definitely worth it and would go again!

WOW! I have heard of this spot for a while but finally had a chance to come try it out. First off, cozy yet upbeat spot for tacos and burritos. I'd comfortably come here for a business lunch even, if you want something light and casual for the vibe. I ordered the strawberry horchata and it was so very difficult not to chug the entire thing! It's that delicious! Sweet, fresh, creamy and sweet. I even bought the horchata mix to take home because I can't wait to add it to my morning coffees and cocktails. I ordered for food the sampler and customized it (6 mini tacos): 1. Chicharron 2. Mole 3. Cochinita pibil 4. Chuleta 5. Tinga de pollo 6. Calabacitas My personal favorite were Chicharron and chuleta, but they were all amazing and full of flavor! My friend ordered vegan tacos and she said her favorite was the vegan peppers! 10/10 , new favorite taco spot. Can't wait to try the chile relleno taco next! As far as customer service: so friendly, welcoming and attentive! Felt right at home.

Guisados is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. The tacos might not be the fanciest to look at, but they're packed with flavor and always hit the spot. They remind me of the meals I grew up with, which makes them even more comforting, and they're always ready quickly. The prices are a little higher than your average taco spot, but the freshly made tortillas and rich, homestyle flavors make it worth it every time. I usually order delivery, but on the occasions I've gone in, the staff has been friendly and efficient. Their outdoor patio is also a nice surprise, it feels like a little oasis tucked next to a busy street.

I've been a fan of Guisados since they opened their original location on the border of Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles in 2010. Since that time, they've expanded to ten locations from Burbank to Beverly Hills to Long Beach. This location in Long Beach is off Redondo and Anaheim. Guisados are slow braised stews and meats. They have a fresh spin on tacos and it's nice to be able to eat the juicy meats in their corn tortillas. For first time visitors, I highly recommend trying the "OG Sampler", which allows you to have 6 bite-sized tacos of their best sellers. You get two beef (steak picado, bistek en salsa roja), two pork (chicarron, cochinita pibil), and two chicken (mole, tinga de pollo). It's the best way to understand what this place is about. They do have several vegetarian friendly options and, if you're vegetarian, then they have a sampler that you can enjoy as well. Occasionally, I'll order their full-sized tacos. My favorites are their cochinita pibil and their tinga de pollo as they're juicy with a little bit of a kick; however, I do enjoy their shrimp fajita taco as well. Prior to their expansion, their east LA/boyle heights location was a five-star experience in 2010. With their expansions, the challenge has always been with being able to transcribe the experience to every location. While the vibe has changed a little, I'm appreciative of the fact that they still have pretty good, stewed meat tacos. I'm glad that I can enjoy this in Long Beach, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants something different than a carne asada taco.

I'm not that guy, but today I'm that guy. This is their breakfast burrito. This is the saddest burrito I've had in my 47 years of existence. I tried this place when they opened here in LB and wasn't impressed. Tried it one more time and this is what I got. ...fool me twice, shame on me!

Juicy, flavorful, and great portions! Whether you sit inside or enjoy the peaceful garden space, you'll find yourself right at home and even more thrills once your food arrives. For years I went to the location near Dodger's Stadium and was pleasantly surprised to learn of the Long Beach location. Enjoy take out, catering, or dining in; the tacos will not disappoint. The staff is helpful and will elaborate on options available. They take pride in the work and it shows with the flavorful tacos made. I love the steak and mole ones the best so far. Can't decide? Enjoy their taco samplers! There's both veggie and meat options

Tacos, Ceviche Tostada, and Horchata Cold Brew were delicious as always. The big let down was the burrito. Lacking a lot of flavor, and definitely smaller than you'd expect when you see the name burrito. Other than that, the restaurant is nice, cool location in Long Beach. Service is great as well, they brought our order to our table and checked in on the food before we left. I do recommend coming here but stay away from the burrito, there's a lot more flavorful items on the menu

The Guisados in Long Beach is definitely a vibe. First off there's parking in front of the restaurant and if they ever ran out- you can park at the grocery/ parking right next to it. How awesome that you can see your chefs cook your fave tacos, the merch is also defined on point. This spot has plenty of seating compared to the OG Guisados for sure. Some tables and some outside seating. We definitely loved the sampler- you get 6 mini tacos of the beef, chicken, pork and veggie flavors for less than $12. We caved and got regular sized tacos after of our faves! Chiccharon, Tinga de pollo, Beef Picado. The chorizo quesadilla was also a hit with my kids and for sure they'll ask for next time. The tostada ceviche is refreshing and good. It is actually one of my faves to get at Guisados. The agua frescas- I always love the Horchata here. I have tried the cold brew but this time chose the pumpkin horchata and I'm glad we did. The service- consistently amazing.

Breakfast Tacos at its best! Love the Guisados concept and I'm glad i dont have to drive to L.A. for it. Each tacos has a different taste profile. Service staff are wonderful.

Food - 9/10 We got the sampler platter, a couple individual tacos, the ceviche tostada, and a couple aguas frescas. The sampler was great to try many tacos without much commitment, highly recommend. The pescado taco was good, fish was fresh and the rest of the flavors were balanced. Our favorite was the cochinita pibil, it was so good we got another individual taco. The citrus flavor on it is just perfect. Price - 8.5/10 At a glance, I thought $4+ per taco was excessive but let me assure you the cost is totally justified not only in quality but in flavor. The sampler platter for $12 is a good deal as well. Overall, eating for this cheap in SoCal is rare. Ambiance/Service - 9/10 The service was great. Amicable people. The ambiance was nice too, their patio is cute and cozy. Overall highly recommend whether you are a local or visitor.

First of all one of their workers with the mastche and tattoos is so cute which is always a plus for the ambiance. It didn't take long to get our food. About 5 minutes and they brought it out to where we sat since we dined in. First of all! You need to get an aguas fresca. We got the medium for the orange mango and the Jamaica. They are so natural. I'm a huge fan of artificial flavor so this was a huge shock, but it pairs so well with their food. My only regret isn't getting the large. For the food we got the burrito 2.0 asada and the chivichanga chicken. The burrito was great but very heavy on the beans. Make sure you get extra green salsa. It's their best and a perfect balance of salty with a hint of sweet. The red salsa gets spicy. If you can't handle hot Cheetos don't eat it. Now the chivichanga thing was perfect. It's so tiny but the fact it's about $5 was perfect. I have never had something so well priced and portioned before. The way I can describe it if you ever wanted to taste high class Taco Bell that will make you want four more then you need to try it. And I mean this in the best way possible. It's so cheesy and savory and yummy!!! Truly just from these two dishes we will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Our next dishes is to try the tacos!

We ordered caramelos with the poblanos inside, as well as their horchata. Tortillas are some of the best I've had. Super soft and flavorful from the grill. The fillings and salsa were good too, but it was really wet, and the bean ratio especially compared to the meat, was a little off. Always am going to want more meat. Horchata was unique since it was coconut based. Overall solid spot with patient staff. Tacos La Rueda is still better, but will be back when in Long Beach.
