LOVE this place! I like the buche, Al pastor, tripa, and cabeza. The al pastor is probably my fav(nice and LAYERED pieces of Al pastor‍) with a nice crunch but a clear sweetness and flavor. The tripa is S Tier in my head too(really crunchy) and the cabeza was solid but not outstanding along with the buche(good texture but lacked in flavor). Salsas are decent as well but al pastor is definitely a no brained if you're coming here. Parking usually in the lot (not sure if it's the same since it changed last time) but still not bad and worth it for sure. Service is no frills and expect a line.

From what I understand, this stand is a long time stalwart of the Long Beach taco community. I was in the area or at least passing through and I really wanted to try their al pastor tacos. I also like this place because it has a DIY toppings and salsa bar with fresh produce. I thought that al pastor tacos here were very tasty. When you get the tacos before putting on all the toppings, you can see all the seasoned ridges and layers when they slice the meat really thin. I also got a strawberry horchata or aqua fresca to wash everything down. They give you a really large cup and I couldn't finish everything but I thought that too was tasty. The service here is quick and friendly. I can see why people like coming here. The five years pretty lively because there seems to be always a line depending on what time of day or night you are here.

I loved coming here during my time in LB, and I HAD to stop by again being in the area last night. They operate late at night for those that have the late night munchies. They are a street vendor but this is basically where they are always set up, no physical store. Their food is soo good for their price too, $10 for a burrito that's bigger and more filled than a burrito from a Mexican franchise. I got an Al Pastor Burrito everything on it with no frijole, be careful tho because the sauce and grease will seep through the aluminum foil they wrap it in. The service is pretty good too, they take your order right then and there and start making it. Payment is either Cash or Zelle and that'll be at the end before you recieve your order. They also have a toppings/sauce table where you can get as much as you want, it's just the traditional toppings like cilantro, onion, lime, green/red sauce etc.

The best tacos in the traffic circle area! Even when they have a line around the corner, it's still quick and efficient service! The prices are well worth it also... it's common to see tacos for 5-7 dollars around this area, but I can get 4 Al pastor tacos and a Fresca for 20 bucks at this place! Sadly, the neighboring car shop and the plaza next to the pop up have restricted parking and will tow if you park there but please don't let that deter you from eating at this lovely spot. There is parking on the street available (see photo). Please be respectful if parking in the neighborhood adjacent from the corner, a lot of residents rely if street parking! :) Please give this place a try and you won't regret it! Salsa is bomb also!!!

If I lived closer to here I'd come here damn near every weekend. The flavor is there! Decent prices with $2.50 a taco. Taco Dinner came with 3 tacos, rice and beans. The asada was amazing. Such good flavor and tender meat -- one of my favorites I've had in LBC. Out of the pastor and asada, I'd only get asada next time. Salsas: can't go wrong with any. The red one was super spicy tho! Parking -- easy to find in the lot behind them. In a popular strip mall off of PCH. Service -- fast, nice and have everything you need for a good taco stand including aguas frescas. Can pay via Zelle.

The best tacos in the town, no question about this. I play in a basketball league in Seal Beach and my friend asked for tacos in the town. This place appeared and it was the best decision. Now, it's a new tradition for me to go to this place after the league game. The people are warm and easy to order from. It got that tacos atmosphere that you're looking for. Nothing beat this.

The wait is not very long.

We were in the mood for tacos and there was so many options but I am glad we decided to give this place a try. The service couldn't have been any better especially for how busy they were while we were there. We ordered tacos de carne asada and al pastor and they were so delicious! We also ordered a carne asada quesadilla. The food was definitely delicious, some of the best tacos I've had. I also liked how they had the toppings/salsa set up so we can get as much as we'd like. If I'm in the area, I will definitely be back! Thank you again!

Al pastor and suadero stat! Looking for badass tacos in LBC, here you go. You can see that spit of pastor spinning and it makes your mouth water. Plus they got some mean aguas frescas too. Dont forget to pack your toppings and salsa. Quick service and fresh ingredients. Great place to be for taco Tuesday. Line can get a bit long but it goes relatively fast. Best corner taco spot.

Love the pastor cooked over an open flame but please don't sleep on the asada here. My go to dishes: pastor burrito con todo, papas con pastor and asada quesadilla. All for $10-$12 bucks. Side of salsa verde-chefs kiss. Best Mexican food in the 90815 area code and it's not even close.

Came over on taco Tuesday (they do not have a deal). I was debating if I should get a mulita, but I should stick with taco Tuesday's tradition. Price was reasonable for tacos ($2.5 each). We got 3 el pastor tacos, 2 cabaza tacos, and pina juice. Meat was tender, juice, fresh, and hot. Pina was refreshing, and not as sweet. Staff were friendly, and services were prompt. The guy who prep my el pastor tacos has good skills as you can see from my video. I enjoyed watching him prepping my food. They are located in a corner of 2 busy streets. There was a line when I got there at around 7pm, but the line moved pretty quickly. I will come back again and try their mulitas. There is a small parking next to the taco stand that is belong to an auto body shop that customers can park.

Everything was so dry especially the al pastor. Will not come back. Flies was on the asada in the back where the guy was grilling them.

Ask the Community - Tacos Lionydas

    Where are you today?

They're always located near an Auto Mechanics Shop on Clark and Atherton in Long Beach!

    Are they licensed? Health department

    yes

Do they have whole beans for burritos? Or are they refried?

Theyre refried from what i remember

What forms of payment do they accept?

    Cash only at the time

    Do they serve fish tacos?

No fish tacos. The following is what they have listed on their poster board: pastor, asada, cebeza, lengua, pollo and chorizo.

Do they offer pickup? If so, is there a phone number?

Technically, yes there is pick-up option. But you have to wait in line to order and receive it. There is no phone number that I know of plus this isn't that type of place.

Our service was very slow and the drinks took a very long time to come out. We were some of the only people in the restaurant, so I can't blame it on being very busy. My girlfriend ordered a mojito and it tasted more like a margarita than anything. Our appetizer was okay but for the price you pay you don't get much. My burrito was decent, nothing to write home about. But you could definitely get a better one in Long Beach for $5 cheaper. My girlfriend ordered a salmon special which was about $30. I've never had a more overcooked piece of fish in my life. When the server asked how our food was I informed her the food was extremely overcooked. She didn't seem to care and there was no offer to find some kind of solution. I wasn't expecting a comped dish or anything special, but a little acknowledgement would have been appreciated. I wouldn't reccomend this place but if you're going to the club there and want food I guess this could be a decent option.

It is made with masa and deep fried with cheese, jalapeño and chicken inside. It was quite greasy (yes, I know it was deep fried, but it was extra greasy, greasier than other fried foods I've had).
