Got chips & a large salsa because I love it so much. Yum! Service is always friendly and fast. Today wasn't too busy inside as I picked up my food. Saw a family and one man eating at the tables. I've never ate inside, I usually pick up. The seating isn't very big and the walkway is very narrow. I always have to be careful that I don't hit someone's head who's seated with my elbows lol. It's been a few years since I've been here, but I used to go for the GM burger combo--solid, affordable, no complaints. Came back and decided to try the tacos this time, especially with the Tuesday/Friday specials. Starting with the carnitas: extremely dry--borderline pork jerky. I even got a large unshredded chunk that was just as dry. No slow-braised richness, no real seasoning or depth; I swear I lost all my saliva trying to get through it. The shredded beef was a step up--tender enough, and the crispy shell did some heavy lifting--but still leaned dry overall. The fries were easily the highlight: well-fried, properly seasoned, and a reminder that even something as simple as frozen fries can be done right. I appreciate that. The salsas though... oh my days. Biggest issue here. Both were very light in taste and texture. The roasted chili leaned primarily on lime, with none of that roasted depth or aroma you'd expect--just flat. Maybe I'm spoiled by Hole Mole's roasted green salsa, but this just didn't hit. And the green salsa was honestly bizarre. Smooth, almost gelatin-like, to the point it literally kept the shape of the sauce lid. It felt like an over-emulsified sauce starting to break, and honestly just tasted like lime--no heat, no depth, nothing tying it together. I've never had salsa behave like that. The space itself is small and narrow, basically right on the corner--just something to keep in mind if you're dining in. Be careful sitting down, I smashed my knee into one of the table base posts and yeah... I lost that fight immediately. I love this place. And lately, I love their special burrito and coffee special. You have to be there to order it. It is not available on the app at the advertised price. You could order the burrito thru the app but the price is higher. Why? I guess it is because they want people to come into the restaurant. Either way, it is a good tasking burrito. Visit at this place for lunch and it has always been one of my go to fast casual Mexican restaurants. Our order consisted of the fajitas, combination plate and two crispy tacos, one shredded beef, and one chicken. The restaurant has plenty of tables, but because it is a small building the tables are close to one another so having a conversation is not easy. They do offer outdoor patio seating , but you have to contend with the traffic from the street as cars will be noisy. My crispy tacos were tasty as always, however, I did encounter a bit of fat in the shredded beef taco. My guest ordered the fajitas, combination plate, and was not pleased with the beans as They seem to come out of a can, the tortillas were cold and not homemade, the chicken wasn't seasoned very well, but the steak and the shrimp were. I went to try this place had a Thursday special on burritos. I got a pastor burrito. I asked for cheese and sour cream which cost another $2 which was not in the burrito. Also asked for it to be toasted and they did not do that as well! The burrito had no flavor of pastor and tasted mostly of rice but a decent size but since they messed it up it's not worth eating here again and explains why the place has no customers at all in the restaurant. The cashier will just say yes and that's about it! Shocker another crappy Mexican restaurant. I came here for lunch on their Taco Friday specials. They have various tacos available for purchase at $2 per taco (minimum, some are more expensive based on your meat). I ordered two fried fish tacos. The breading wasn't very thick and the fish was more like sliced fish filet. I really wasn't expecting something truly mouth watering/amazing for the discounted price, but the tacos were actually not too bad. Two was pretty filling for me, but I would expect that if you're an average height/weight person, you would probably need to order four or five to start feeling a bit full. Service was quick, even the tacos were fast. This place does seem pretty popular, even on a work day for lunch, but they pumped out those tacos within five minutes after ordering. I was in there last night and ordered a combination platter one cheese enchilada, and two tacos with rice and beans andside in my combo plate. I took a picture of my tacos. They're burnt.I was so starving, I ate one of them. Why can't we get the blueberry margaritas anymore? That was the main reason we all in the neighborhood love to go there. This review is my opinion I write about my experience it's all about the food the taste the restaurant and staff it's never personal - as always I suggest you try the food for your self and form your own opinion. I called the restaurant asking for my order to be wrapped tamperproof he said that they would and they did not tamproof my bag it was tied loosely and all the contents were flipped from how they were carried. Here's what I chose. Cheese Enchilada With Green Sauce. $4.75 They offer red & green sauce but green is the only choice available on the app this enchilada was small didn't have much cheese or sauce and the cheese wasn't melted inside -- to be fair I warmed it up the sauce was seasoned well and flavorful but for that price it needs to be bigger have more sauce and cheese and packaged better for delivery. Hard Ground Beef Taco $4.85 The taco shell was still crispy but the lettuce was wilted and the cheese melted the tomatoes were good the meat was seasoned well and eaten with green and red salsa that taco was pretty good I would really love to try this again with crisp lettuce and shredded cheese as intended. Chicken Tamale $4.55 I ordered mine with green sauce and mine had less than a 1/2 teaspoon of sauce which tasted great the masa was tender and tasted very good however the chicken filling was mid there wasn't much chicken inside and it didn't taste very good I suggest they add more sauce on top and more shredded chicken inside and I would try them again. Guacamole $1.85 Flavorful creamy and very tasty. Pico De Gallo $1.85 Standard pico fresh tasty and very good. Salsa 4 Free salsa's with order. Red Green Smokey & Mild Salsa they all were flavorful and made the food taste so much better. FYI I took a picture of all the food that I ordered on a standard plate and as you can see these are very small portions for a grand total including fees tip and delivery online $29.83 I suggest any future patrons visit this restaurant in person to avoid these fees. Really wanted to love this place so much but I've learned that dry meat is their norm and that's just not the work of THE LORD for me! I came in to give it another shot. Called the order in: + chicken burrito wet inside (thought it would help the chicken not be so DRY) The cheese was like sprinkled inside... not melted. + tortilla chips came with it. It was so very little and mostly crumbs like they ran out of chips and that was the last of it. Just tragic. Spoke to a guy about my last experience with the dry chicken. Said he would talk with the cook. They put green sauce inside and the meat was STILL dry. At this point I'm wondering like is the protein cooked days before and just reheated!?? I got 5 crispy beef shredded tacos and my wife had chicken quesadilla, Mexican tacos. This restaurant maintains the quality and price consistantly. I go there after 1:30 after lunch time. We really enjoyed our fave Taco time. Thanks for the Taco day. Their salsas are fresh, flavorful. We both like mild, hot salsa, jalapeño pickles, and carrot pickles. For the first time, we had chicken quesadilla and surprised about chunky chicken, premium taste w sour cream, guacamole, chips, salsa are served. I love lime margarita all the time. I left w stomach filled and we got the leftover chicken quesadilla, lots of salsas. This place is wonderful, authentic Mexican ambiance. Taco Friday again! I was so tired after finishing the aqua aerobic class and my 20 lap swim. My hubby and I decided to eat Tacos for Friday lunch. The guacamole was so good, served w chips, salsas and sour cream. I met my coworker by accident, she ordered chicken soup. It looked so delicious. I will try it next time. 12/13 they closed at 7pm and did not turn off their online ordering and it did not say anywhere on their website they were closing early. i showed up to pick up my order and the employees inside avoided eye contact with me as I went to open their door (it was locked). I tried to call and they wouldn't answer. The very least they couldve done was come to the door and SPEAK TO ME like im a human being. I wouldve been understanding, but they chose to ignore me and my calls. Luckily i did get refund, but that doesnt negate the fact that they had terrible customer service. Never going back read more

While in search for a taco Tuesday spot I stumbled upon Great Mex Grill. Looked at the menu and saw that they had many options for two dollar tacos on Tuesday. Perfect... ordered five crispy shell in about four soft tacos and I got to say this things are pretty good. My favorites were the shredded beef crispy tacos by far but the other ones are good also. They have a little patio on the side, and an even bigger one outback by the alley, which has about eight or nine tables, and it was empty so it was kind of chill to sit there and grab my tacos, all of them were pretty good and I'm glad to see that they still have the two dollar price point because a lot of places have up the price on taco Tuesday which makes it not that affordable. I will definitely come back again and try out some other food because the menu is pretty extensive and they have a lot of good looking stuff on there. read more

Only issue I had was with the hot salsa it is white people spicy (not much spice at all). The chips are really fresh. Stopped by to grab a quick bite since this place was near where we were heading to, really been wanting a burrito and/or fish tacos. I don't remember if there's a parking lot, but there's street parking so you shouldn't have an issue with parking. The location itself is on the smaller side - we got there around 6:30ish mid-week and the restaurant was completely packed. Seems like a cool spot to sit and have dinner if there are open tables. Menu is pretty big, but there should be something there for everyone. We ended up getting a few tacos (they're pretty big), a California burrito, and a Breaded Fried Fish burrito. I think their Breaded Fried Fish burrito has parmesan in it? It's definitely different from every other fish burrito I've had, but it was pretty good. The California burrito was comparable to other places. They have three different kinds of salsa. We got all three - pico de gallo was my favorite. Their spiciest one was spicy, but the taste wasn't there for me. Definitely ask for more salsas if you're a big sauce person. read more

Came here with two buddies and two girl buddies. I say that because they are my friends but they are girls and my two buddies are guys. One of the girl buddies loves this place and really was all she talked about and when we got there she kept talking about it. I asked her, "what should I get" and she said, "crunchy chicken tacos", and I said "how many" and she said "I got two" and then I said to the cashier "I would like 4 tacos" and then Davis said "get 4" so then I said to the cashier "actually can I have 4." Ok let's talk about the hard shell chicken tacos that a lot of reviews talk about. I was curious! So I came to try them. In all honesty, it was about the roasted salsa. NOT the chicken taco itself. Some have said the chicken is bland. I 100% AGREE. If it weren't for the salsa, it would be tasteless. I also got the shredded beef crispy taco and though it was less bland, it wasn't BIG flavor either. So you needed the salsa to bring the food up a notch. I bought some tamales too. 6 for $15. Good price but let's see how they taste! Fast forward to dinner....the tamales were REALLY GOOD! Better than I had expected bc the shoutouts for the crispy chicken tacos were loud. But the chicken and jalapeño with cheese tamales were right up my flavor alley. Recommend the tamales. Pass on the crispy chicken tacos. Food quality missed the mark. I had an order to go. Cheese enchilada was lukewarm the cheese wasn't even melted inside or out. Flat shell tostada - both the beans and the asada I had added were lukewarm as well and the meat was flavorless. Chicken burrito was ok but boy have they shrunk in size and gotten expensive too. If you're going to increase your prices then you better make sure you keep the quality you once had. I have been going here since day one and I must say based on the meals we had last night won't be returning anytime soon read more
