Maybe more like between 3 to 3.5 stars. Staff was friendly and food wasn't too bad. We got some Carne Asada Tacos and Carne Asada Fries. And one of my cousin asked for a side of rice, but they misheard her and gave her a side of fries. My cousin felt like the carne asada wasn't flavored or seasoned well. And they all thought the sauce on the Carne Asada Fries made it too sweet for their liking; and they felt like it could use more cheese. Not my favorite Mexican food around the area, but I was satisfied enough.

Our go-to taco truck and only a short walk from our place which is a plus ! We always get carne asada fries, chicken, asada and carnitas tacos and burritos. Everything is super yummy and great quality. Currently they have taco Tuesday. $2 tacos!

Mild, medium and hot (front to back). We tried mild and hot. Both were excellent.

If you can appreciate an AUTHENTIC Mexican street taco/street food experience, (NOT just a walk up for truck) 600 Tacos is definitely your spot! They have 2 locations, 1 in North Long Beach on Artesia (you'll probably see this review there) the other is located on Los Coyotes Diagonal near the traffic Circle and close to Cal State-Long Beach. First of all, the food is nothing short of excellent. When you see the owner, grilling carne asada, with lump mesquite charcoal, and you both see flames, and experience the smell of goodness a block away; you know you've found "the spot". I should also mention the al pastor was also being freshly prepared, on a rotating spit. (With a large onion on the bottom) That was just last night. Tonight, the owner was getting chicken (pollo), for his operation. Last night's late night dinner? 6 tacos. 3 al pastor, 3 carne asada. The salsas.. just ridiculous. Especially the orange, habanero salsa. Tonight's take? 2 burritos. 1 carne asada and al pastor. 1 carne asada and El pollo. Cheese, onions and cilantro. That's it! Parking? Plenty of free parking right there. Seating? They've got that too. Staff? They're all on point. Especially Sergio, the owner. Definitely worth the trip.

I went to the taco truck with friends after school, and it was so good. We had an event at the campus that went on late, and we wanted something other than In-N-Out. This taco truck did not let us down. The service was terrific, and we all enjoyed the food and left satisfied. The location was easy to find. It has a nice ambiance.

Very rude team and the food is overpriced for how mediocre it is! Too expensive for the portion given. They never smile.

They're known for their handmade flour tortillas that have an amazing bite to them. They were just awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand award this week for their excellent, affordable food. One thing that I appreciate about their tacos is that their meats have varied textures. The costilla (rib meat) is a crowd pleaser as you get the taste of the grill/charcoal. They have tripe that is crispy with corn nut texture. Cabeza (face meat) has a stewed texture. Unlike most places in LB, there is two hours free parking conveniently located across the street at the Harvey Milk Community Lot. This is easily one of the best options for tacos in Long Beach and, if you haven't had it yet, then you really should! This is the type of place that we need to support!

We ordered caramelos with the poblanos inside, as well as their horchata. Tortillas are some of the best I've had. Super soft and flavorful from the grill. The fillings and salsa were good too, but it was really wet, and the bean ratio especially compared to the meat, was a little off. Always am going to want more meat. Horchata was unique since it was coconut based. Overall solid spot with patient staff. Tacos La Rueda is still better, but will be back when in Long Beach.

My go to is the sampler to get a little of everything. The cochinita pibil is one of my all time favorites and the mole poblano. Absolutely delicious!! The service here is good. We didn't necessarily have a great experience though. They messed up our order and we never got it fixed. We just happened to be there when there was a big party there too and it seemed like staff was a bit flustered. I told the workers about our order and they just forgot. We waited for over 15 min and when I went up to ask again, they realized they had forgotten about us and hadn't made our correct order so we decided to leave it and just go. Regardless of that hiccup, the staff were very friendly and they were apologetic about the situation. I would come back for sure and give it another try. The Boyle heights location has always been on top of it and I've never experienced a bad visit so I wouldn't say this location is bad off of one visit. The space is small and has inside and outside seating. We tried to eat outside but that bigger party took up a lot of the seats out there. They have a beautiful mural inside too and we luckily got a table. Overall, guisados is a must and I'm happy there's a location closer to me now.

Our service was very slow and the drinks took a very long time to come out. We were some of the only people in the restaurant, so I can't blame it on being very busy. My girlfriend ordered a mojito and it tasted more like a margarita than anything. Our appetizer was okay but for the price you pay you don't get much. My burrito was decent, nothing to write home about. But you could definitely get a better one in Long Beach for $5 cheaper. My girlfriend ordered a salmon special which was about $30.
