Some of the most delicious tacos I have ever had in Long Beach and this is a city rife with places get tacos. My friend told me there is always a line to order food here and sure enough, there was when we arrived and it was even longer when we left with our food. But damn these tacos were so tasty. Came here late at night on a recent visit and had at least two or three different Taco varieties and also had something new to me a mulata. Is that right next to the taco stand had a table and chair that is set up. The guys that helped me don't really speak English but they were friendly and helpful nonetheless. The food is always on point and the people who work there are awesome! I'm not even going to mention the price on Tuesdays, I want for you all to be as surprised as I was. But you'll be blown away by what you get and how little you'll spend, trust me! There's only been a couple times where they weren't open on a Tuesday but that has been few and far in between. 5 stars. This is my go-to for my Tuesday Tacos and burritos. I've been here a million times because it's right in front of the ballet studio En Pointe Dance and Fitness I have taken a million ballet classes from. The al pastor is off the charts and their $1 taco Tuesdays are to die for. They have the 3 chopped salsas, 3 types of liquid salsas, and they have these grilled onions and grilled cactus as condiments at times. The beauty of this place is that it sometimes has a little seating area, so you can eat it right there when it's not too cold. When you come on Tuesdays for their dollar tacos, the wait is horrendous, but come later in the night as the crowd generally dies down. The best part about their burritos is that it's super reasonable, $8 without cheese and $10 with; also they let you fill up the burrito with as much chopped/liquid salsa and anything else before they wrap it up. I eat here so often, I'm surprised I don't speak Spanish already. Thank goodness learning the language isn't a prerequisite to stuffing all this food into my tummy. read more

Absolutely CANNOT PASS THIS PLACE WHEN OPEN!!! It's literally impossible!! CASH ONLY My hubby and I always get the carnitas burrito with grilled onions and ask for a grilled jalapeño as well after adding some spicy salsa. The service is A+!! Everyone is so sweet and friendly and as I'm writing this I'm literally feeling my mouth beginning to water!! They have el pastor as well! The carnitas though is simmering in a huge pot and then they take some out, break it apart (super tender) and grill it for a minute. Their tortillas are huge and usually ass cheese to throw on the grill and melt it. They have fresh acqua frescas, salsas, sliced radish and cucumbers. We've tried many places like this and Tacos Uziel is the BEST POP UP place we've found and we crave going at least once a week. There may be a line so be ready, but it moves fast!! Although this my first taco in LA, this place blew my former favorite (Taco El Jalascience, Chicago) out of the water. It tasted super authentic and it was actually light on the wallet. Whatever the beef and cheese between two tortillas toasted on the grill is, I loved it. And the Al pastor tacos were to die for! I loved how you can add your own stuff and get sauces. My only negative are the small cheap napkin's. This place is messy, therefore those cheap diner napkins don't work really well. read more

They're so good, they made us switch from our regular taco stand that we used to go to once a week. Now we only go here. The meat is soooo flavorful. The salsas are all really great too. The red has a sleeper heat that builds over time. And they have great toppings as well. They do always have a line but they're fast! And they're always friendly. Street taco stands are popping up faster than pimples on teenagers, but this stand consistently has a crowd gathering around it. The physical testament of customers can't be wrong. The service was efficient, with a wide selection of meats (including lengua, cabeza, and vegetarian). There were also grilled jalapeno peppers with onion that went really well with the tacos. You fill your own toppings to go and the salsas have serious burn. Parking was easy at the empty mechanic's lot at night or in the adjacent lot for the shopping center. I love tacos and I've driven by this taco spot many times. I finally decided to try it on a non Tuesday. Tuesdays the line is waaayyy too long. I had asada, chicken, chorizo, and al pastor tacos. They were all sooo good. I think my favorite were the carnitas. Everything tastes fresh. We also had a agua de pepino and jamaica agua. I prefer the pepino but that's just me. We ordered a cabeza mulitas, carne asada tacos, and el pastor tacos. All the meat were well prepared. They were fresh, juicy, and tender. There were 3 dressings, and I like the avocado dressing the most because it is not spicy. There were 2 drink options, and I chose the watermelon juice. Definitely the best street tacos in Long Beach! I can see why there is always a long line, but it seems to move fast. It really feels like being in a taqueria back in TJ. For me the standouts were the Asada(smoky as it should be), Chorizo, and Suadero. So glad we have places like this around. read more

TLDR: If you see them, have cash, and can stop: do stop, get food, continue on. You won't regret it. Especially the al pastor. I'm not an expert on Mexican cooking, but this stand is slinging delicious food, getting through their line of customers quickly, and are generous with their portions. On the drinks side, I can only vouch for the horchata (great). I haven't found any better prices for what they're offering, but go elsewhere for greens; you'll find none here. We came across this place on Instagram about 3 months ago and have really wanted to try it. Today we finally had the chance and I am so happy we did! Mexican food has not hit like this in well over a year. Is it just me, or has food in general gone downhill? Anyway I cannot recommend this place enough. I'm very careful when it comes to pop ups. At the very least they have to have a good reputation as well as be busy. We ordered a carnitas taco and a carne asada burrito. The taco was $2.50 and the burrito was $10.00. The burrito by far was the better deal. It was LOADED with tender asada and I added beans and cilantro and onions. Before they wrapped up the burrito they offered to let me put on my salsa which I appreciated. It was super filling and I wouldn't want to eat it by myself. In fact we split it so it was perfect!! All for $10!!! Love it!!! The carnitas taco was amazing!!! Next time I'm going to order a carnitas burrito. But both were outstanding!! The employees were very friendly and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to go back. The only place I'd like to see improvement is the salsa. This place has some of the best Mexican food I've tasted period. They cook the carne asada on a grill and you can smell and taste the difference it makes in the meat. They also have chicken, al pastor, carnitas, and some other meats. I've only had the meat but my wife says the al pastor is legit. The only salsa I get is the green and avocado salsa. They're also bomb. The red is too hot for me. They also have other items on the side like onions and cilantro, limes, grilled onions, etc... Lastly, these guys are great. Check them out. read more
