There was an absurd amount of time stalled waiting for a worker to take my order in the drive-thru with ZERO cars in front of me. I was there long enough to download the app and place my order via the app while waiting there. The app would not process an Apple Pay payment even though I use it nearly everywhere else without issue. The sandwhich is a mess with mustard all over it. It was handed to me and the window was shut before I could ask for napkins. The degenerate working the window at 1:30 on 4/27 needs an attitude adjustment. 4/7/11 I had been craving Jimmy John's for a while now and didn't disappoint. As I walked in was greeted right away and the young man took my order. The service was excellent , because i was so hungry I forgot to add certain items to my sandwich but wasn't an issue and they took care of immediately. Terrible service!!! I had a disappointing experience at this Jimmy John's we are in the area and this is the closest sandwich place. I went to drive-thru and spoke with Allise. She asked how she could assist me but then left me waiting without any follow-up for quite a while. When she finally took my order, there was no apology for the delay. As I was paying, she prompted me to indicate a tip on the screen. I declined and said I didn't want to give any. Her response was, "press x then." After more waiting, I received my sandwiches, and when I thanked her, I got "uhuh" in return--still no acknowledgment of the long wait. Oops we did it again, probably for the last time of the year sadly. What did we do? We had some delicious sandwiches outside in the beautiful NV fall weather at this location of Jimmy John's. I'm not sure why it only has a three star rating honestly. In my opinion, it's the most consistent Jimmy John's in the area. I'm super impressed by the Covid protocols here. We've been twice in the last month and the whole staff has been masked up, gloves on the food line, they've got the tables spaced out, and the place feels incredibly clean. Walking in this time I thought I would change my order. I go between the ham/turkey combo and the Italian Nightclub, very rarely getting the hunter's club with the roast beef. On this last visit I thought it was an Italian Nightclub, but for whatever reason the ham/turkey/provolone called to me AGAIN! Topped with extra cherry peppers, mayo, and some onions! I have not been to this location for probably over a year, and thought I would give it another try. But no, it's the same thing: they cannot get the order right and I don't understand why the last time I was there I ordered a BLT with extra lettuce and tomato and I asked them to cut it in half, which I was rudely told that it comes that way automatically. But when I opened up the sandwich lo and behold, it was not cut in half which is an issue because I'm sharing it with someone else and it ends up making a huge mess. Today I ordered a BLT with extra lettuce and tomato and they explained to me that I couldn't have a slim. It had to be regular size but then they forgot the extra lettuce and tomato. What the heck?!! I love coming here. Freakishly Fast, is certainly an understatement. Its as if they have very precise fortune tellers accurately predicting what you want before you ever step foot inside the store. My combo of choice the #10 Hunter's club. I can eat it right when it comes out or let it sit in my car as I run to the market before I get home and the quality and consistency of said sandwich will remain the same throughout. I couldn't tell you how they do it, they have the science and supernatural down when it comes to the art of making sandwiches that taste delicious. It's a little tricky trying to get into a Jimmy Johns because some locations only stay open for very few hours. This location is only open on certain days and for only very limited times. I live around the corner and the one downtown is always available but thats a hike for me. So I'd only wish this place would stay open longer and be more consistent. The other Jimmy Johns by me closes at 6pm. That's like dinner time but whenever I get lucky enough to get into one of these sandwich places that is open it's a treat. read more

On Saturday 3/23 we encountered a very disappointing trip to This location. Whenever my wife or I use Saint Mary's prompt care (Galena) we always stop at this JJ's. I can't recall any issues with the previous visits, however, this went incredibly wrong. I ordered myself a #10 Hunter's Club unwich (lettuce wrap) and a #4 Turkey Tom for Mrs. E. Since she was recovering from the flu, I took her complaints with a grain of salt. She did claim the bread to be hard and there were no tomatoes. I opened my unwich to find as much roast beef as she had turkey. Not at all a double portion. Both sandwiches tasted very strange like the wrong spices were used and both ended up in the trash. Working at the hospital in north Reno there were many times that JJ would deliver....up to 1am. Always had a great meal. Never any surprises. There should be no difference in quality between the two sandwich shops. I will try this location again because we may have caught them on an off day! read more

Friendly, fast, fine. Jimmy John's used to be wayyyyyy better back in the day. We used to eat at JJ's in Alabama after the game was over and the bars closed down. Ordered a sandwich over the phone and was more than very disappointed on how I was talked to over the phone. Which is even more disappointing because I love the food and the service is usually really good. Employees name was Sean, talked to me like a I was a piece of garbage over the phone, the rudest experience I've ever encountered with customer service. When the order was picked up I instantly knew which employee it was by how rude Sean was again in the store. The bathrooms were spotless, and the vibe was trendy and overall comforting. However, the girl who took our orders could've been a bit friendlier; she seemed rather irritable and fed up. I ordered a TOTALLY TUNA (#3) with half the amount of tuna because I'm not big on mayonnaise. It was delicious! Everything was extremely fresh, flavorful, and clearly high-quality. Their French bread was very light and tasty too. I'd definitely order this again, as it beats many tuna sandwiches even from local shops! My friend ordered the GORMET VEGGIE CLUB (#13), and if you're a cheese-loving vegetarian, this sandwich will blow you away. Everything was bursting with flavor and freshness. The 9-grain bread it was served on blew our minds; it reminded us of those addicting loaves that come out of bread makers, and it was very flavorful with deep nutty tones. My only complaint is that they don't offer any good vegan options. Although the veggie sandwich is delicious, that's only because they stuff it with mayo and cheese.
