Food was beyond excellent. I was born on the Jersey Shore (gimme all them jokes), raised within an hour if Philly, Visiting relatives in Bucks County and Langhorne until almost high school. The place jr region I've talked home has almost always been centered around food. In and around Philly, Cheese steaks were definitely the thing. Pretzels and wooder ice were up there as well. In any case, I'm not going to say it was the absolute best Cheesesteak I've ever had, be cause that would be insulting Philly in some kinda way... But both my Fiancé and I remarked as to we've not had a better one in all of our 9 years together. That's saying something. I eat what I want and we've had our fair share of cheesesteaks together. She's not from Philly but she's absolutely an accepted Philly Fan. Loves her Iggles, Flyers, and all things foodie Philly related.... Including Taylor Pork Roll. The Capriotti's sandwich in question is the American Wagyu Cheesesteak. We did just meat (extra not double) and cheese, and then doctored it up in the same way we each like our cheesesteaks. It was phenomenal. Besides the sandwich, the customer service was extra special. My rewards weren't working properly, Scott problem solved it quickly and without needing any issue from me, he simply handled it. In this day and age where it's so easy to fall back on technology's incapabilities, sleuth the representative simply saying, that's what it says and there's nothing I can do, even if as a human you are easily able to see a discrepancy. It should be more standard, but sadly, it's not. So I absolutely appreciate him taking charge and doing what he could to find a solution that worked for me, but also followed the company's protocols. He did that. The gal on the grill was awesome as well. I sincerely apologize I can not remember her name, but her enthusiasm and interaction with me over something as simple as a sandwich, was pretty cool. She made it a point to connect with me andd that fact I'm a Philly guy, was sharing his sandwich with my fiance whom is an adopted Philly gal. And to play with the fact this sandwich was a crucial part of our day and plans to watch The eagles playoff game. It should say somerhing that even though the team lost that game, we still hold this experience at a sandwich company as a truly fun and meaningful part of our day. I truly apologize for the lengthy message, but in a time and society where urs far too easy and quick to put one another down, when there's people or even a company that deserves to be called out for a customer's appreciation, I don't mind taking an extra minute of two to recognize that. My husband went in and ordered two sandwiches. Capriotti's used to have a "cheese sub" on the menu, but took it off. It's just a sandwich with no meat. It's really not that difficult.... Just cheese and veggies. My husband ordered me the cheese sub and was extremely clear that it should be a sandwich with bread, mayo, mustard, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and peppers. That's it. The person at the register said he would have to enter it as a turkey sandwich no turkey, and put the order in. I guess he should have checked the sandwich?? Didn't think he had to for such a simple order... We live 30 minutes away from this Capriotti's. We got home, I opened my sandwich. It was a turkey sandwich. Not only was it a turkey sandwich (filled with shredded turkey which is impossible to remove - I tried). It also only had lettuce and cheese and peppers. No tomatoes or onions???? I thought maybe I got the wrong persons sandwich? Nonetheless I could not eat the sandwich. Although weird and annoying, mistakes happen, not the end of the world. So I called the store, spoke with an employee named Pride. She confirmed I got the correct sandwich and that no one knew how to make the sandwich. The turkey sandwich no turkey... I've had some really good success ordering the meatball sandwich here multiple times I usually get a medium with all the toppings usually extra cheese every time the meatballs have been very good big delicious the last time I went there which is a week ago i arrived my sandwich wasn't ready nobody told me anything why it wasn't ready which was weird cuz I showed up after it was supposed to be ready in the place was dead then it takes him about almost 10 minutes to get my sandwich ready and then she said something like oh we ran out of Meatballs so I was like okay not a big deal sandwich felt normal got home the meatballs were probably Frozen cuz they were cold and they weren't very big I had to literally put the sandwich in my oven for about 15 minutes before I even got to temperature so I was asked to review my food so I did then I was contacted by the manager who said he would make it up and contact the staff and then nothing ever happened i wasn't going to write this review if they did it but they didn't and I'm not happy cuz it's been almost $20 on my sandwich and it was cold and I had to heat it up and that's not the kind of experience I want when I go to get a sandwich especially when you had the opportunity to make it up and they didn't read more

We were told that they had to cook more meatballs and it would be a 25 minute wait. There was no indication of a delay in either the text message or tracking system. Hey Capriotti's... If you're selling meatball sandwiches you need to have meatballs ready. Don't tell people they'll be ready at a specific time and then add 25 minutes because you're so inept that you don't have the items you are selling ready. And fix your tracking system to at least warn people that there will be a delay. Very poor management. There are too many other good sandwich shops to waste our time with you. I've been a raving fan of Cap's since they opened in Northern Nevada, but this experience really left me scratching my head. We walked in around 115-120 to a relatively empty restaurant. There was no one at the register and no one in line, with one customer chatting up the three staff members making sandwiches. I wasn't clear on whether we ordered at the sandwich line or the register, so we waited by the register looking at the menu and eventually got in line behind the guy at the counter only to have two other customers walk in and lineup ahead of us at the register. Our mistake, so we got in line and order. I've always enjoyed ordering at Cap's because the staff is so friendly and informative during the process, making sure you understand what is and what isnt on the sandwich soy you order exactly what you want. Today the staff at the register today did not live up to that experience. I ordered a med Italian and asked for half with nothing on it but meat and cheese for my son and asked for the other half to come as described with xtra sweets and hots. The reply was "extra sweet and hot what?". They only have two condiments that fit those descriptions, and I've ordered it that way many times before, so I was surprised at the response but clarified with peppers. "Ooohh. Gotcha." Said the clerk. We complete our order with ticket time 1:34 and it took almost 15 minutes (1:47) to get the sandwich. I unwrap it and find my son's half has the seasonings on it (luckily he didn't mind) and my half had a single piece of tomato with the core in it and a tiny amount of hot pepper relish and 3-4 pieces of sweets stuck on one corner of the sandwich. Def not how I ordered it and not what I expect from Cap's. I got up and told the cashier who also made the sandwich and his reply was "I definitely put them on there." So I snapped a photo. They provided the extra on the side for me to add. This was very disappointing though, especially after so many good experiences with Cap's. But after paying $16 for the sandwich and a bag of chips and tipping 15%, I couldn't help but be a bit sour. I share because Cap's has always cared about their guest experience and the reviews they receive. I don't know why this happened, but a lot of guests were left waiting for a long time today so it sounds like operations. I hope they solve it. I think I'll stick to the other locations though from here on out. They seem more consistent. read more

Came here with a fairly large group for a quick lunch after class. Convenient since we all order individually at the counter and don't have to worry about bothering a waiter to split a bill 15 ways lol. Self seating at their few 4-seat tables. I got the half sub + bowl of soup for $11.49. The American Wagyu cheesesteak sub was deeeeelicious and went well with the tomato soup. Speedy service, casual ambiance. Everyone enjoyed their food. For Mother's Day I wanted to relax and have a Capriottis sandwich (I only have once in a while) I always get the "Wagyu) Slaw Be Jo" sub swiss for provolone. It is my favorite!! I phoned in the order, my sandwich and a Capistranmi for my husband) He went and picked them up. Gets home, his sandwich is correct. Mine was not even close to a "Wagyu Slaw Be Jo" although it was labeled correctly on the sandwich. Neither of us wanted to drive back over so I ate a few bites before tossing it out because Skyler apparently dumped the salt and pepper shaker on it... I was/am very disappointed because for $27 (for 2 sandwiches), I would hope my specialty sandwich would be made correctly. I came here on a whim, because I got a Jamba juice next door, and thought "the bobby" looked interesting. It's a Thanksgiving sandwich, basically. Fresh shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing. I love all those things, and have myself made a sandwich out of them after Thanksgiving. So, I figured I'd give it a go. $11 bucks later, I got a foot long bobby. When I took a bite? Exactly what my imagination Thought it would taste like. A Thanksgiving sandwich. BUT ... A couple things. First, do not expect a flavorful Experience here. Not a lot of herbs and spices. No sage could be detected. No chili flake. No orange zest in the cranberry sauce. No sausage or vegitables in the stuffing. This is a basic, basic Sandwich. And that's not a bad thing for a lot of people. The turkey was fresh, and the cranberry sauce actually had cranberries in it. But for me? It was lacking some punch, some pizzazz. Oh wait, there is another one, which is the Cheesesteak. Over decades and still making a mean sandwich. I ordered my son the cheesesteak and I split a large Bobbie with my daughter. The sandwiches are huge, so if you order a large, plan to save half or more for latter.
