Tried sandwiches here today. Ordered a turkey n cheeses, an Italian, and a small turkey with cheese. Customer service was friendly and great. Sandwiches, however, were soggy on the bread. Sandwiches were full of meats, veggies, and cheeses, but the soggy bread ruined the experience. Restaurant was clean, as were their restrooms and fully stocked. This is my first visit to a Firehouse Subs. It's not like a Subway style sandwich shop where you can walk along and request more of something. You need to know what to order so you get what you want. I like lots of veggies so I ordered the veggie plus turkey which is $2.50 extra. The issue I have today is that I'm in a hurry and it would take me less time to just watch and tell them what I want rather than have to figure out what's on each sandwich and what I can add. So I probably did not order well because I was in a hurry. I did not realize that my veggie sandwich would not be a cold sub. So I was surprised that the cheese was melting off the sides. I'm very disappointed that they advertise CARAMELIZED onions but the onions are barely sautéed rings that were closer to crispy raw than caramelized. The mushrooms were nice but not many. I guess there wasn't mustard either. I probably needed salt. I think I just was feeling like a cold sub and wasn't expecting it to be warm. I miss the vinegar etc. I requested LOTS of banana peppers and there were very few. I'm only removing one star for the NOT caramelized onions. But if you are not looking for a cold sub and you don't want salty or vinegary flavors or crispy lettuce I can see how people would like these warm subs. I recently had knee surgery and my husband drove me thru the drive-thru to place my order after PT. I decided to have the Thanksgiving Turkey Sub, I ordered a large so we could split it. In my photo, I posted is half of a large sandwich. We chose the White garlic bread didn't really taste the garlic. They told us when we ordered there was a shortage of cranberry sauce, so there was a pinch on the sandwich. It was real turkey and not that press stuff. The sandwich was heated and it was tasty, it really needed the cranberry to make it Thanksgiving. Cost $18.99 for a large specialty sandwich was it worth it? I think I'd try sometime else next time. I highly recommend eating it all and not saving half for the next day. The staff at the drive thru were helpful and nice. The location is easy access. Firehouse is right by my house. We don't normally go there because we have our favorites, but I wanted to try something different. read more

A local joint where the Food is Excellent, Service was Five Star and ambiance was all about the Fireman, Fire Hoses, And a cool photo of the Sparks Fire Department. A nice wide open restaurant with lots of great Fireman Decor all over. Firehouse Subs has a signature sandwich: The Hook & Ladder.Turkey & Ham, lettuce, tomatoes and deli mustard. I chose Honey mustard. The bread was fresh and the signature drink was Cherry Limeade with real limes you can squeeze into the drink. A pickle slice on the side with Fritos lays corn chips. My choice of chips. Prices were fair. Not over priced! A Five Star lunch experience. A thank you to Manager John and a Big Thank you to Catering Coordinator Megan Hudson for Five Star Outstanding Customer Service. You explained the many sub choices, and how each Sub is served hot. Also a portion of the meal goes back to the local firehouse. I kept your catering menu too! It was truly impressive service. You really love your job and it shows. I also noticed how your staff kept the restaurant clean in between customers. Fantastic! Really great service. All of the Firehouse Sub Team worked together to make every customer's food hot and served fast and also welcomed them into the restaurant. Today's Veterans Day forecast for Veterans: a complimentary Veterans Day sandwich and a Thank you, for your Service from Firehouse Subs. Went in here to get my usual complimentary Veterans Day sandwich and Thank you, for your Service as I have these past seven years. There were four employees there, one a manager. NONE could be bothered to greet us. As is my custom, I was wearing my Veterans hat, as was my husband and I had both our Veterans id out. I was told there was NO complimentary Veterans Day sandwich!?! There was NOT even a Thank you, for your Service. Four employees and NOT a one could EVEN be bothered to say, Thank you, for your Service?!? I was shocked from this huge dose of DISRESPECT TO WE VETERANS AND LACK OF SUPPORT FOR WE VETERANS. I left thinking about what I recently heard at a Veterans event I was at 7 November 2025 in Sparks, Nevada. "The most expensive thing everyone owns is your Freedom and Freedom isn't free. Firehouse Subs is definitely a step up from Subway -- cleaner interior, better ingredients, and overall a nicer experience. I got the roast beef, which was good quality and tasted fresh. The bread is decent, though it does feel a bit on the cheap side, and I personally wish they used red onions instead of white for more flavor. The only real frustration was the soda machine. It wasn't working, and when I tried to get a Diet Coke it came out tasting like basically "poop water." I asked an employee about it and he was super helpful -- he went to the back and filled one for me that actually tasted like Diet Coke. I appreciated that, but they really should've warned me before I wasted time trying multiple soda options. I also kind of wish the ordering was like subway. Overall though, it's a solid place for a quick sub, and way better quality than the usual fast-sub spots. That said it is a bit pricey but what isn't anymore? read more

The food is great it gets 5 stars, not only do you get good food but you get entertainment!!! This is why the one star: One male employee wears the waist of his pants BELOW the bottom of his butt. Tacky at best, even 2 years olds can pull their pants up. So we got a birds-eye view of his underpants!! Terrible customer service. You spend like 15 dollars for a sandwich not including it being a combo meal and have to do with teenagers that just provide horrible customer service. They got my order wrong and had to basically spend 10 mins arguing with the shift lead until I told her to contact the manager. Rediclous. Prices are already sky high. I found an amazing deal online for basically half off two combos. The app said mobile ordering wasn't available. I pulled up at the drive through first but no one came on the speaker so I pulled around and went in. I loved the sandwiches before. This time my bread was not toasted even though I mentioned it twice to make sure it was done, and I didn't get the pickle or even a napkin. I took it to go so I didn't even look until I was home. The kid who took my order was very pleasant at least. But they wouldn't take cash at 8:20pm even though they don't close until 9pm because they already counted their drawers. Firehouse subs give you bang for the buck. A large sandwich is easily enough for 2 people. If you are a fan of meatball subs, this is the place. They are delicious, loaded with a good balance of marinera and meatballs that are seasoned just right. For a little added kick order it with pepperoni. There is one lady that offers a cup for ice water while you wait for a to-go order, which is great touch. Service and consistency have been good. I have tried the Steak & Cheese (Philly), Beef & Cheddar Brisket, Spicy Chicken, and the NY Steamer. Most were pretty good but I tend to gravitate back to the meatball. Had a very pleasant experience at firehouse subs today. I originally had ordered through the drive-thru , and realized I did not have my wallet and had a large bill in my vehicle to pay for my lunch. Although they do not accept large , Brie, personally pulled out her wallet to break down the bill so that I could pay for the order. Shortly after getting to the window, my toddler had to be rushed to the restroom (potty training era), and I had to quickly leave and park the vehicle and run inside. Both Brie and Andrew, made sure that my order was ready to go once I got out of the restroom. Once we left, Andrew quickly realized I forgot two of the drinks and ran after me so that I would not forget them. He was also in the middle of taking orders through his headset for the drive-thru while handing me my forgotten drinks. I get inside, there is one very sweet elderly couple at the register and it's taking quite a while. I can see my sandwich sitting on the little rack behind the cashier and 4 or 5 other employees off to my left not offering to grab my paid order and hand it to me. Absolute laziness out of the staff tonight. Attempted to get food 20 minutes before they closed, the whole staff acted like I was invisible. Completely ignored me when I went through the driveway and one of the employees tried to hide while I was at the window. I then walked up to the store and they turned the lights off. I also notice that every time I visit this restaurant, the drive through person is doing all of the work, while several employees are sitting in the back of the restaurant. I think that's why the turnover rate is so high. I never see the same employee working in the drive through. I don't think there would ever be a review that was bad for service, if everyone worked together. Employees should not be sitting around while one employee is working. Their Firehouse Hero is a damn good sando and sitting here writing this review, I am craving another one. The shop is firehouse themed and this particular location is really clean, like sparkly clean. I felt like I could probably slide across the floor if I wanted. There weren't many customers when I went in and I got my order pretty fast. They also seem to be staffed well for a fast food place and the staff is friendly and helpful. A cool bonus is they sell their old 5 gallon pickle buckets for like $3, which if you didn't know, every reasonable adult should have at least one. read more

Been wanting to come here for quite some time. My son came here with a few of his school buddies and said that the sub sandwiches were really really good. I went with the hero sub. It had roast beef ham and turkey on it. The sauce they used was a little on the Sweetside, almost like they used miracle whip instead of mayonnaise. It was quite tasty. The only thing I could say is for $13, wish it had more meat on it. $13 for sandwiches quite a bit. It tasted really good for sure. The service was definitely friendly. And I do like them having a drive-through for convenience. I would have to say it's probably one of the best subs around, just a little pricey. I've been wanting to try Firehouse Subs and wished I tried it sooner...the sandwich was excellent. I had the medium size Hook and Ladder and asked for the mustard and mayonnaise on the side. The turkey and ham was perfectly thinly sliced and had a great flavor to it. I don't usually like ham since it tends to be salty but this ham had a sweet taste to it which I've never experienced before with ham. There are plenty of tables to dine-in and it was very clean. Packages of mustard and mayonnaise was available so I could use just the amount I needed. My reason for the 4 stars is the price. $10 for a sandwich is more than I would like to spend. read more
