My Jamaican Jerk Turkey Sandwich From Firehouse Sub
    Mychael H.

Firehouse sub place is hella good sandwich place. I like their Steak & Cheese sandwich. One of the best sandwich I had ever eaten. I also I hope they build more firehouse subs in the Bay Area California like San Francisco Oakland and San Jose California soon and The Steak & Cheese sandwich should called Philly cheesesteak. Do firefighters get a discount on firehouse subs. It's part of their reputation?

Veggie plus turkey (not a cold sub)

This is my first visit to a Firehouse Subs. It's not like a Subway style sandwich shop where you can walk along and request more of something. You need to know what to order so you get what you want. I like lots of veggies so I ordered the veggie plus turkey which is $2.50 extra. The issue I have today is that I'm in a hurry and it would take me less time to just watch and tell them what I want rather than have to figure out what's on each sandwich and what I can add. So I probably did not order well because I was in a hurry. I did not realize that my veggie sandwich would not be a cold sub. So I was surprised that the cheese was melting off the sides. I'm very disappointed that they advertise CARAMELIZED onions but the onions are barely sautéed rings that were closer to crispy raw than caramelized. The mushrooms were nice but not many. I guess there wasn't mustard either. I probably needed salt. I think I just was feeling like a cold sub and wasn't expecting it to be warm. I miss the vinegar etc. I requested LOTS of banana peppers and there were very few. I'm only removing one star for the NOT caramelized onions. But if you are not looking for a cold sub and you don't want salty or vinegary flavors or crispy lettuce I can see how people would like these warm subs. If I wanted a meatball sub I would give this place a try again. It's very pleasant inside. It's cute. If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

    The Thanksgiving Turkey Sub
    Diane P.

I recently had knee surgery and my husband drove me thru the drive-thru to place my order after PT. I decided to have the Thanksgiving Turkey Sub, I ordered a large so we could split it. In my photo, I posted is half of a large sandwich. We chose the White garlic bread didn't really taste the garlic. They told us when we ordered there was a shortage of cranberry sauce, so there was a pinch on the sandwich. It was real turkey and not that press stuff. The sandwich was heated and it was tasty, it really needed the cranberry to make it Thanksgiving. Cost $18.99 for a large specialty sandwich was it worth it? I think I'd try sometime else next time. I highly recommend eating it all and not saving half for the next day. The staff at the drive thru were helpful and nice. The location is easy access. Firehouse is right by my house. We don't normally go there because we have our favorites, but I wanted to try something different.

Firehouse Subs is a fantastic sub shop in Sparks. A local joint where the Food is Excellent, Service was Five Star and ambiance was all about the Fireman, Fire Hoses, And a cool photo of the Sparks Fire Department. A nice wide open restaurant with lots of great Fireman Decor all over. Firehouse Subs has a signature sandwich: The Hook & Ladder.Turkey & Ham, lettuce, tomatoes and deli mustard. I chose Honey mustard. The bread was fresh and the signature drink was Cherry Limeade with real limes you can squeeze into the drink. A pickle slice on the side with Fritos lays corn chips. My choice of chips. Prices were fair. Not over priced! A Five Star lunch experience. A thank you to Manager John and a Big Thank you to Catering Coordinator Megan Hudson for Five Star Outstanding Customer Service. You explained the many sub choices, and how each Sub is served hot. Also a portion of the meal goes back to the local firehouse. I kept your catering menu too! It was truly impressive service. You really love your job and it shows. I also noticed how your staff kept the restaurant clean in between customers. Fantastic! Really great service. All of the Firehouse Sub Team worked together to make every customer's food hot and served fast and also welcomed them into the restaurant. This was a very great dining experience at Firehouse Subs in Sparks in the Iron Horse Shipping Center off Prater. Check them out. This was my first time here! Thanks Carl for introducing Firehouse Subs to me today! I will be back again soon, with my family. Julie A

Tried there new French Dip. It was delicious, but they forgot the au jus that was supposed to be on the side.... So that was a little disappointing. Other than that, my sandwich was ordered online and ready for pick up on time.

Spicy cajun chicken sandwich; it's their Thursday lunch special of the day for $8.99 for a medium size.

Lunch date with my son after a long day of running errands. Hot sandwiches and soup are always good for the soul on a cooler day. Service was good, we didn't wait long for food at all. Their uncharges for a little more turkey isn't justified in my opinion. Your subs are on the pricier side. I wouldn't mind the price so much if there was more meat. The meatball sub was more sauce than meatballs. My son liked it with a little sauce on the side. The chicken dumpling soup was salty, but adding a little water helped.

They even told me this price would be a "steal"
    Thomas B.

Prices are already sky high. I found an amazing deal online for basically half off two combos. The app said mobile ordering wasn't available. I went inside to ask and they told me they only had one oven working and shut down mobile ordering so they didn't get too busy. Pretty convenient, considering today is the last day for this awesome deal. I'm predicting they'll have it running again tomorrow, when the half price deal is gone. Shady business practice to avoid lower profit

Drive up at FireHouse subs. Driving through the expect a tip. What do you think? Tip jar just in the area you can see it.
    Mike M.

Takes forever for sandwich to get made. However when it does come and you been waiting about 15 minutes it is really good. Just felt one uncomfortable being pressured to tip and the wait is horrendous !

Greetings my little festerlings!…read more When Jersey Mike's was first introduced into my area, years back, I wasn't really too excited. Figured it to be another fad restaurant that would slowly fade away (like 5 guys should..yuk!). Not really a big sandwich person most of the tme. But I still remember my first time walking into one. It was my first visit where I knew I had it all wrong! I ate there a bunch of times after, because I worked in the same strip mall. Next to Hello Deli which is located in Vista California, and Quiznos, Jersey Mike's is the best sub shop out there! So first I'll say, I haven't had Jersey Mike's in a couple of years at least, and I was delighted to realize that my points have never expired! Matter of fact, after my purchase today, I already have an upcoming reward. So let's get to the review of this particular location by Scheels. I came in on a Sunday around 2 O'Clock or so, and they were pretty busy. Most of the tables taken by eager patrons. Two girls behind the counter and one guy behind the flat top. After using the restroom to wash my hands because I've been working with chemicals (which was clean for the most part) I got in line to make my order. I only had one girl in front of me and then two more customers behind me. I don't understand everyone's angst with the amount of time that it takes. I mean they have to slice the meat and cheese, it's not like walking into 7-Eleven and grabbing one of those rat sandwiches from the bunker fridge. So yeah it took a little bit of time, But I'm not in a hurry, not like I have an appointment with the president or something today. The first girl got my order started. I ordered a giant number 13 with roast beef. She started on two customers sandwiches that were in line behind me. Yes, efficient for them, and no I didn't mind. Now I've been told I have sort of an intimidating presence. The next girl who finished assembling my sandwich was either slightly disorganized, new or maybe nervous. I had to ask her a few times for the same things on my sandwich, and it seemed like she was trying to rush me through because she got immediately to the juice and was about to button my sandwich up when I had to ask her for mayonnaise and relish. But she pulled it through and got it done, got my sandwich, took it home and ate half, and willl probably eat the other half today. I think my total time in line was maybe 10 minutes? Anyhow, the sandwich was great, I got a freebie coming up, and it was nice to have a Jersey Mike's sub after all these years. I'm sure I'll be back again sometime! ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Normally I just want pickle and mustard but I ordered it with the slaw and dressing and added pickle and mustard. It was very good but next time I'll stick with my normal extra pickle and mustard and ask for the slaw on the side because I do not want to miss out on the slaw. It's delicious!
