    Cran slam
    Amy M.

Ordered off website about an hour before I was wanting to pick up. Was ready when I got there. If you are wanting it on time make sure you place it and give them time to make these delicious morsels. I built my own seafood salad sandwich on honey mustard Swiss bread and was not disappointed in any way. I also got a cran slam to bring home with me since I just can't pass up the chance to get one. Place was busy but nice and clean.

They're back and better than ever! I finally revisited after taking a break when new ownership happened. I was pleasantly suprised! The sandwiches have remained phenomenal, but the entire space has made a come back. The drink selection is great again! I love being able to buy Liquid Death sodas, Yerba Mate's, and Celsius while I pick up a delicious sando. The employees do a great job of being efficient and helpful!

Probably one of the best hidden gem sandwich spots in town. You wouldnt think a gas station would have such a must try food spot, but you really should try it if you haven't before. I ordered the Turkey Slam on a Swiss/Onion roll and it was the best part of my day. Still thinking about that sandwich and currently planning on another trip to buy it again lol The prices are great and the food is even better. You order via a digital pad, which is super easy and they have tables inside and out. They also have cookies the size of your face for $3.99. 10/10 recommend!

Deli towne is a well known local spot for the thickest sandwiches you could think of! I love doing a create your own. The deli is located inside the gas station, I always use the self check out for the deli and build my own sandwich then head to the main register after grabbing extra goodies like chips, drinks and candies. It is always clean and can be very busy but always worth the wait.

Stopped by for lunch for the first time. We ordered online for pick-up, which was super convenient. My wife had the Italian, and I built my perfect sandwich with turkey, roast beef, cream cheese, and all the toppings on jalapeno cheese bread. It was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the premade macaroni salad. My wife enjoyed it, though it wasn't to my taste. We took our sandwiches to the Wilbur D. May Arboretum for a nice picnic. Overall, I would recommend this place and definitely plan to return.

The guy making our sandwiches was very friendly and the sandwiches came out so good! However when we went up to the cashier to pay for my cookie, her name was Jennifer I believe, and she was the rudest person I've encountered in a very long time. She seemed as though she hated her job or life and felt the need to reflect it upon us in such a short interaction. It must be mentioned that her coworker standing beside her noticed how she behaved with us and she made up for it with kindness and wished us a goodnight. She was very sweet. If it wasn't for her this would have been a five star visit!

I've been lucky enough to try Cuban sandwiches from Miami to Tampa, and let me tell you, Deli Towne in Reno makes the BEST Cuban sandwich I've ever had. I know, I know - Reno? You wouldn't expect to find Cuban culinary magic in the Biggest Little City, but trust me on this one. From the first bite, I was transported. The bread was perfectly pressed, with just the right amount of crunch. The pork was juicy and flavorful, the ham was savory, and the Swiss cheese was melted to gooey perfection. The pickles added the perfect tang, and the mustard brought it all together. This wasn't just a sandwich; it was a symphony of flavor and texture. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high-quality, and you could tell that the sandwich was made with love. If you're in Reno and craving a Cuban sandwich, look no further than Deli Towne. You won't be disappointed!

I really wanted a panini, but decided to opt for more veggies. I got the sweet passion chicken salad becuase I like sweet things, and becuase salads out are always better than salads you make at home. I'd give it a 7/10. It was colorful and sweet and had lots of toppings. It left something to be desired though. (I had subbed blue cheese for feta). Service was fine and fairly quick for how busy it was. I've heard about this place from a few people. I just wasn't super impressed.

The sandwiches were much larger than expected, and were still nice and warm. Opened the bag to find each sandwich was wrapped and clearly labeled. The herb flavors were present in the Cuban, the pickles were mighty tasty offsetting the fat, and the vinegar in mustard tied it all together and the warm fresh crusty bread... OHHHHH MYYYYY!!! Greatttttt sandwhich! Jalapeno cheese bread with trip tip was MF FIRE !! I'd never imagine blue cheese and trip tip with jalapeno and spinach. Wowwwww it worked.. let's talk quality... quality aromatic blue cheese with a nice punch to it.. it almost melted into the bread!! While…read morewaiting for our order to be made, I was watching them making sandwiches and burritos diligently , grilling burritos on the panini griller. They had a lot of orders that they were trying to get out, but this one person accidentally put possibly mayo on a sandwich, turned around with the piece of bread in his hand, which I couldn't see what he did with it, but it was kind of wiped off, so I don't know if he scraped it on something, but he did not use a knife in my view to take it off then he took a towel to it, wiped it off and then put it on the grill for 10 seconds and then he put the correct spread on it. Now... What if that person was grossed out by mayo or allergic to something in the mayo. It would've been just as easy to get a fresh roll. That kind of grossed me out. I'm glad it wasn't ours. I have to wonder what that towel was used on. It wasn't a fresh towel. It was crumbled up. That has not sat well with me since I saw that. I think the rating on them (if I was an inspector ) would have been affected. Normally we love that place!

I added a slice of Swiss cheese to accompany my meat but in hindsight, I regret it as it took away from the overall taste of the sandwich. They clearly melted the Swiss somehow on the corned beef. Perhaps it was just from the hot sliced meat, microwaved (I doubt) or steamed? However, I was a bit disappointed as my sandwich came out fairly cold and by the feel of the bread I feel like it was ready well before it was brought out and sat a bit waiting for my mouth as the top bread was dry/crusty and the bottom slice was still steamy warm. I would have liked a hotter sandwich. For my side I chose the fries. Fresh and hot they would have been the bomb, however, like the sando, they were mediocre as they were past their prime. My dining partner had the grill pastrami (same price) with added Swiss cheese slice as well. The amount of meat on his sandwich looked 1/2 the weight/volume of mine. (I was glad with my choice.) Overall, I'll probably return for my craving of a good "Chicago Jewish deli" corned beef sandwich but will ask to be sure it's hot next time and I will also ask for freshly fried potatoes, or maybe I will try the potato salad or cole slaw. 3.5 stars out of 5.
