I ordered a half size and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion size. There was a good amount of meat included on the sandwich as well. My husband got the Rich Boy sandwich on the jalapeno bread and loved it. The included cookie is a nice touch! The location is pretty easy to find, although not easy to park. My husband dropped me off to run inside as there weren't any available parking spots nearby. It also took me a sec to realize the storefront is in the back of the building from California Street. Both indoor and outdoor seating was available. We did online ordering which was a very smooth process. The app allows you to customize pretty much anything that you would like to on the sandwich which was great. It was very user friendly. The order was ready to go by the estimated time. The price is high - two sandwiches (1 whole and 1 half) were over $30. No chips or drink added. read more

I chose Rubicon Deli for a catering event at work and everyone loved it! I guess they are new to doing catering but it seemed to go smoothly and all the sandwiches were a hit. I love their sandwich box that has a "sandwich key" showing a photo and description of each included sandwich type, plus each sandwich had a label of which one is corresponded to on the key. So organized! The sandwiches themselves are massive, filled to the brim with fresh ingredients. We got 6 different sandwich types, so there was definitely something for everyone. All the people in attendance were impressed by both the size and quantity! I got the spicy tuna and it was a unique take on a traditional tuna salad sandwich with a nice kick. The bread was paired nicely with the Crandie, so many flavors in this sandwich, it was so good! Something about the balsamic mayo and cranberry mustard together on a sandwich, amazing! All sandwich's come with a mini chocolate chip cookie (not GF). The shop is located behind a two-story bar on California Ave. If you're not familiar with the area, you may miss it. Another gluten free win! Sorry I've been talking so much about that in my most recent reviews but I've finally found what has been making me feel so sick all the time! My sandwich was really good, but there was a bit of cross contamination I'm guessing from cutting another sandwich then cutting mine so that was a bit disappointing as it was some type of sauce a bit of a spice which kinda tainted it but I could tell my sandwich was really good if I ignored that. I liked the bread a lot and am super pleased they offer GF. I got mine toasted and the only other suggestion is spreading the meat out evenly instead of a bunch in the middle and not as much on the sides! Parking can be strange on the street but worth a little walk. Great lunch spot, they were very busy at noon with call ins as well as in person orders. I'll be back! read more

I met a friend for lunch here the other day. Neither of us had been here before. It was a hot day but they have tables outside with umbrellas which shaded us from the sun so it was pleasant. It can be easy to miss, as it was for my friend, because it is located on the side of the building that houses Lo-Bar Social. And there is no parking so she had to circle the block a few times while I was lucky to get street parking out front. We both ended up ordering "whole" sandwiches knowing we could bring home leftovers. Incidentally, they have a wrapping station inside for customers complete with paper and tape so many people end up taking part of their sandwiches home. It's easy to see why when you get one here -- they are HUGE! I ended up having the delicious Spicy Tuna, which comes with pepper jack cheese, avocado, tomato, onions, pickles, pepperoncini, lettuce, mayo, and the spicy kick of habanero mustard. I loved it! My friend had the Rubicon Special. Staff were nice. I hope to bring my husband here sometime soon. read more

This is a great place to drop in for a casual lunch or order to go and take with you. I was impressed by the quality and taste of everything I had. It was a windy and chilly day so a cup of warm broccoli cheddar was the perfect cure! The cowboy salad was served with dressing on the side and the chicken was Chipotle chicken was incredible! This was all served with a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. It was the perfect treat! My husband ordered the Dapper Dipper, a French dip. He was able to choose his bread before hand, and went with Dutch crunch. This sandwich was huge and could easily be shared with 2 people. It came sliced in four pieces, au jus on the side, and a chocolate shop cookie. A delicious meal and I am excited to come back and try more. read more
