I came in for Crush's Yelp event with my son as our first time in. My first impression was it's such a cute space! I knew we would be back. I met the lovely owners Aj and Megan than and my son has been raving about their protein donuts and spider man refreshers to anyone who would listen. Today after the gym and running a few errands with my kiddos we stopped by for my mid-day protein fix and my kids ordered their flavor of the day protein donuts (Raspberry cheesecake) and refreshers cucumber lime and a Spider-Man refresher. I couldn't decide between 3 flavors, so I know what I'll be trying the next time few times I'm in, but I had a fruity pebbles shake today. Their prices are better than other protein bars in town and they have combo options that will save you a few bucks. Do sign up for their rewards with a phone number. Yum! Perfect protein smoothie for post workout. I really like the nutritional value that the smoothies contain. I ordered the salted caramel and also a snickerdoodle. Wow!! So many positives to say about this business. I came for the first time after a workout and asked for advice on what to order. Protein shake it is! The protein shake was amazing and I love all the nutrients it has. I'm not a sweets person and I was advised to go with the Java latte. It was so tasty! I also had a protein ball and mini donut (all healthy and so good!). The owners were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain how everything works, the ingredients in the shakes/teas as well as the protein snacks. They also have a punch card rewards system that I would advise being a part of. It only takes your phone number. Everything was very clean and the place itself had a casual cozy vibe. The sweetest little shop ever. Staff is so friendly and the store was so cute. I thi k there is also a little pet there. Maybe a dog, not sure. They gave great recommendations and also was weary if I was breastfeeding so that the caffeine intake would be within the limits. Also the seasonal toasted marshmallow is super yummy and does not have that odd after taste you get from a meal replacement drink. It is a good morning and because of this random adventure to Crush, it's even better! Check them out. CRUSH is so good! I come every Saturday after my workout and they're so patient when I'm figuring out what to order every time. They're drinks are so healthy and nutritious and I love that the owner is there every time I'm there so when I bring someone new in with me, they tell them about why their drinks are the best. Every drink has at least 17g of protein and I believe somewhere around 25 vitamins and minerals. Their wide variety of protein shake flavors makes everything so much better! read more

I usually don't like protein shakes because they can taste chalky but there was none of that in our drinks. I was on my way out of town and I stopped to get my Crush Yelp event item. I got the big stick. It taste healthy and has enough sweetness but not overly sweet. AJ gave me some free samples of their cookies protein based which is always great have peanut butter in them, which is yummy also And a little snack of some sort just like a baby cupcake. I ordered a peanut butter chocolate smoothie. We also got a child's rainbow tea and hubs got some tea as well I forgot the name, too focused on my protein smoothie. It was really good and is advertised as a meal replacement. My family liked it as well and their drinks. We will come back to try the protein treats as well as more smoothies! I am not sure if they offer different sizes for the teas that would be my only suggestion cause sometimes I just want the "kid size" of a drink! So glad this is in south Reno! Not quite what I was looking for. I came in craving a refreshing, fruit-based protein smoothie, but this spot didn't quite hit the mark for me. I tried the Strawberry Banana and Banana Bread flavors based on the staff's recommendations, who kindly assured me they weren't too sweet. Unfortunately, they tasted overly sugary and artificial -- I couldn't really detect any real fruit flavor, and I left feeling like I'd had more of a dessert than a smoothie. I also sampled a friend's Java Chip, which tasted more like a faux chocolate shake than anything nutritious. That said, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, so I'm adding a star for the great customer service. If you're in the mood for a sweet treat or a dessert-style shake, this place might be for you. But if you're looking for a healthier, more refreshing smoothie option, I'd look elsewhere. read more

11/27/2023- Finishing up my round of errands today, and took a slight detour.. Nicely located (2.7 miles away from me).. Opened up a month ago, and i think they "crushed" it..lol.. Very refreshing to see a healthy option, nestled between fast food chains.. Friendly customer service and knowledgeable. I went with the dragoon fruit cold tea, and a cafe latte shake.. Taste: dragon fruit tea was very tasty.. The cafe shake- nicely blended and could taste the blended flavors..- it did have a tad tase of a protein shake.. but that's okay. Learned about this place recently and am already back for more! The first time I came, I had the Peachy Peach tea and loved it. I didn't have caffeine yet that day and this tea made me feel energized for the rest of the day. I love that is low carb and does not rely on juice to make it full of flavor; they've found a way to give their teas sweetness and strong flavor while still being healthy. Today I tried the french vanilla shake and my husband got the peanut butter cup shake, both were excellent! I'm so impressed with how flavorful they are while still being low calorie and low carb. The flavor strength is just right, you don't get the protein powder taste but you also don't get an overwhelming amount of flavor which can also a turn off in some protein drinks. I'm a type 1 diabetic and wear a continuous glucose monitor, so I can confirm that the shake does not spike your glucose levels. In fact, you could barely even tell I ate anything from my trend graph! Such a rarity for something that is considered a meal replacement drink. The shake kept me feeling full all afternoon and served its purpose of replacing my lunch meal for the day. They have so many flavors to choose from and I'm sure all of them are great. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more soon! read more
