Crazy to find a coffee shop named after one of my strongest life mottos: drink coffee and do stuff! As someone who's a coffee addict and refuses to function without a good cup of joe in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this hidden gem cafe in south Reno! We decided to stop by after being in the area, and were pleasantly blown away by the spacious seating area (for working or conversing), kind baristas, and incredible roasts of coffee. I obviously had to opt for my go-to order of a lavender latte, which was so fragrant and one of the BEST that I've had. Highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for a quality coffee shop that's not in Midtown, and I know that I'll be back again very soon! read more

I found a new coffee venue that is outstanding. My friend and I went there yesterday after a long walk around the meadow. She recommended the latte so I decided to try the Carmel latte. It was amazing! Rich bold expresso flavor with a hint of caramel. Delicious!! I also ordered the Egg Sandwich with a smear of Avocado and sprouts on an everything bagel. So fresh. One of my ALL TIME favorite coffee shops, and they have a location in South Reno! I don't have pictures of all the drinks, but trust me on my following recommendations: the Pines Latte (both hot and iced) with oat milk, the cappuccino, espresso, cortado, cold brew, and americanos, ALL are wonderful! The sweeter taste of the coffee really just hits, and their coffee is always brewed to perfection, and has helped me through a lot of tough mornings and beating the mid-day slump at work. I also adore the staff, they're always so accommodating and helpful. They also care about each drink they craft! This is such a cute little spot! I had been here before when it was Bibo's and thought it was great then as well. It's a perfect spot for a coffee shop! First, let's start with the coffee. I ordered and iced lavender latte. It was so good! Not perfume-y, just the right amount of lavender taste. The only thing I didn't like is that I was picking little pieces of lavender out of my mouth every once in a while since they garnish the drink with real lavender. Next, the food- I ordered one of the bagel sandwiches with eggs & avocado on an everything bagel. It was okay. Not a lot of flavor. In my opinion, it's just a typical coffee shop. I do like how they remodeled a lot of it and finally fixed that front door. They have some neat and unique lattes on the menu. Can we talk about how cool the name of this coffee shop 'DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF' are you kidding me!? How cool is that! It tickles my past inner twenties for some reason. I don't remember much the last coffee place that was here, only gone once and all I can remember was that it didn't give me the chill vibe that this now new coffee does; filled with more decors and the total ambiance of college/work style. I'm a mom and I can totally just go here to hangout with my kiddos to chill with them and sip. The people who took my order and made my matcha latte, their names are Olivia and Calvin (didn't ask how to spell their names exactly) and they're super friendly and welcoming. I asked if they were the owners and were not so Calvin gave me some background of the owners and told me some stories regarding the raw pictures that are displayed on the walls which I thought were pretty neat. Calvin and Olivia were easy going to talk to and also asked questions regarding my daughter's ballet next door, overall just awesome people to chat with that fit this coffee place's vibe. Hope you catch them if you ever plan on going here. I ordered a matcha latte with vanilla syrup to give it some sweetness to it. I'm a matcha lover, and this matcha latte that I got here had a bold taste, a positive taste. The syrup wasn't overpowering the matcha and I can still taste the hint of bitter to it which I like, so I can tell the matcha powder that they're using is good quality. And Olivia is the one who did the design that's shown on the picture and it's super cute! If you need to study, make business arrangements, etc. this place is the place to sip and chill. We have been to the one in Tahoe and liked it. Appreciate that we have one down here as well. My kiddos loved the pasteries. One had the banana bread and the other had the almond toast. Both could not finish. The seating area is spacious. We would have sat outside, but I didnt want to have the kiddos getting wet. We love going early morning before it gets super crowded. So happy to finally have a Drink Coffee Do Stuff down in the valley! I've been a fan of their Truckee and North Lake location for a while (I was a wedding planner in that region and no longer get up there as often), so seeing the same quality and vibe closer to home is a win. The coffee here is top-notch! Rich, smooth, and never bitter (even on a plain drip). You can tell they care about their beans as the flavor is just on another level. I usually go for one of their Seasonal Specials or the Pine Latte, and both are consistently excellent. The space itself is clean, modern, and has a chill atmosphere that makes it easy to hang out or get some work done. Great spot to meet a friend, take a meeting, or just people-watch for a bit. Also love the branding - it's fun, very local, and gives the place personality. The baristas are also kind and helpful when it comes to making decisions or changing up the regular go-to. That said, the prices are definitely steep. It's not going to be your everyday $5 cup of coffee, but if you're into specialty coffee and quality ingredients, it's worth the splurge every once in a while. The girl at the counter was super friendly, but felt a little rushed as I was barely at the counter and she was asking to take my order. I suppose this is a good thing, but it just made me feel rushed. Maybe just a greeting to start? There were also two other employees that didn't really give friendly vibes...go figure. This time I got the Pines Latte in a here cup. I like it because it's not too sweet. I also got a Blueberry muffin. It was given to me in the package and my first thought was, even Starbucks takes their pastries out of the package before giving it to you. When you walk in, it is very warm and welcoming accented with wood finishes with windows in the front and in the back of the shop. You're immediately greeted by the baristas happy to take your order. Another great addition to the Drink Coffee Do Stuff family! We stopped by the new location with high hopes and weren't disappointed. We grabbed some fruit blenders for the kids, an iced vanilla latte, and an iced black tea. The fruit blenders and iced tea were mediocre at best but the latte is where they always shine. The baristas were nice and the service was good. The fruit blenders did take awhile to come out. I assume they only have one blender in the back. This location does have great indoor and outdoor seating and is located in the beautiful Southcreek shopping center. I came here on opening day right before 10 am. The line wasn't as long, probably because I went pretty early. All coffee drinks were free that day, and I got their Mount Rose latte, which tasted yummy, and the rose flavor wasn't overpowering. I sat in one of their armchairs and it was very comfy. The baristas were super nice when taking my order and calling out my name when my latte was ready. Decor was nice too! One gripe I have with the company though is their use of AI art in their Instagram grid when they announced their Reno location opening. As an aspiring artist, it kind of hurts when a business doesn't use their platform to spotlight artists who can do an even better job than AI. I understand paying artists isn't cheap sometimes, but there are those out there with reasonable rates that can happily make a beautiful banner for your business. I really want to give this local coffee shop a better review, but my experiences haven't been great. I've been here a couple of times, and the baristas have never been very welcoming or friendly. Both times I've sat at the counter and waited for someone to help me, even when the shop wasn't busy. I ordered a simple cappuccino, and it cost over seven dollars, which I honestly find pretty crazy for one shot of espresso and some steamed milk. On top of that, the coffee itself isn't anything special--it tastes like a burnt, mediocre Starbucks. The coffee shop itself has a great location with outdoor seating, and the interior is cozy and calming. Honestly, that's the only reason I'm giving it two stars. We walk in and the two ladies working are not smiling not asking if we need anything else and after our order there is no "would you like anything else" the girl just walks away to get something started and then doesn't say thank you or anything after we complete the order. Really cute place! Needed somewhere to do some remote work for a while, and found this coffee place. Got there around 9am and there was plenty of indoor seating and plenty of free parking in the shared parking lot. There's some outdoor seating at both entrances. Staff were really nice when I asked about their Purple Haze Latte; I ended up getting it and it was really yummy. I like my drinks on the sweeter side, but I was worried the lavender might be overpowering. Made with homemade lavender (it's like lavender tea), the lavender flavor in the latte was very subtle. There's an outlet by each of the tables, and some by the window high seats. Wifi is pretty fast and the password is posted by the bathroom door. Decent place to do some work; moderate noise but the music isn't obnoxious or loud. Would swing by again when I'm in the area! read more
