Typical Menu but the employees make it feel special! I was encouraged to get the dirty chai and I was elated with it. Creamy and flavorful. The perfect sipping temperature. I'm a huge fan of Coffeebar in general, so when I saw a location I had never known about or been to, I threw it straight into the map and headed over around 1 PM. It took me 2-3 laps around the block to realize this place was tucked in an alleyway. It's a true hidden gem. I almost gave up when I couldn't find it and the map directions didn't make much sense. This location is a small shop with only a little bit of seating indoors and a few tables outdoors. This is primarily the roasters location, so it's a great place to enjoy the freshest of coffee but also a great place to purchase beans. They had a very large selection of beans for purchase. They still offer a decent menu and a few snacks, though much smaller than the other location. My wife enjoyed a matcha and I enjoyed one of the exclusive roastery blends on drip. Both drinks were very good. The quality of the drip coffee was superior. I want to visit again and try a coffee flight. That's something I've always wanted to do. Overall, friendly staff, delicious coffee, and even though it's hard to find, this hidden gem is well worth the stop. Cheers!

They have a black sign with a bird on it which is really the only marker you can spot for knowing you've found it. The inside has simple decor but is bright and clean. I got a standard iced vanilla latte and croissant, both satisfied my breakfast cravings but were not anything extraordinary. With so many great coffee shops in Reno, you've got to find a way to stand out to get people back in the door. Even though I had a good experience here, I'm not sure if I would be rushing back unless I found something worth returning for. Still a nice place to stop if you're in the are!

We were a little bummed because we saw on their listing that they have pastries and were wanting a little snack but they didn't have any available that day. We were both happy with our coffee selections and my latte had a pretty design on it. The barista was pleasant and answered our questions, especially after we let her know we were first timers. If you are looking for cute and cozy, this probably isn't your vibe. It was pretty cold, and the tables and chairs were just basic hard white furniture and the barstools didn't look particularly comfortable either. We probably would have stayed for another cup but both of us were feeling restless and my legs were starting to get numb after sitting for a while. I'd most likely come in and do a to go order if I were to come back. Because the drinks were definitely good. Just not really my jam for a place to sit and visit.

We looked the roastery up and drove over. Tim was such a nice and welcoming guy, and really takes pride in what he does. We bought a bunch of bags and filled up our carry-on and flew home with it. Fast forward to 2 years later, we hare happy Coffee of the Month subscribers and look forward to getting Tim's coffee in the mail. We've gifted the subscription to our friends and family too, and everyone loves it. Perfect for the coffee lover in your life. I look forward to grinding up these beans and enjoying the most delicious French pressed coffee every morning. I feel so lucky we followed our curiosity that one day in Reno.

It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.

They really let their knowledge and personality shine through, making the experience from the second you walk in through the door. I've been here a few times and no matter the employee, they know their stuff (especially the guy who says he's an expert [I believe it!]). Ambience: As anyone else, I value cleanliness in a shop. Their surfaces are all maintained to a nice cleanliness: workers are keeping customer spaces clean, they wipe their counters frequently. The redolence of coffee is wonderful. Food & Drink: Each time I come here, I grab a seasonal drink and their blueberry cream cheese danish. Now, I am a person quite picky with coffee: there needs to be a balance if there are extra flavours present in the drink, and this shop nails it. I ordered their orange cardamom (I forgot the name!) latte, and it is one of the most favorite drinks I've historically tried. I definitely need to grab a bag of their medium roasts next time to take these profiles home.

So sorry, limited pictures as I did not want to take up her time for Yelp, lol. Got a small coffee, it was VERY small. It did NOT even seem like an 8 oz cup?!?! But she filled it to the rim! Plenty of seating. Plenty of mall parking, mid day, in between meal times. And too early to go to Zephyr's wine bar, lol. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 4pm. Service - Counter service. The customer in front of me took forever; she was very confused, it was probably her first time here also... No fault of the employee. The employee was nice, acknowledged me, apologized for the wait, and said bye to us as we were leaving. Price - $4, expensive, but that is the cost for quality. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 2023 and with your other two locations. My other buddy is a regular customer.

Mango gelato tasted like straight mango puree in the best way, absolutely blew me away. We then had to try more. The chai gelato is actually insane, it's straight up like eating a chai latte (which they also have here, and are also fantastic, but best hot). The coffee gelato was a light coffee taste, absolutely fantastic but my least favorite of the bunch. Service was also very fast and kind, just wanted to make sure I pointed that out. They tend to play indie rock and older stuff like dinosaur jr which is exactly my vibe. It's like they made this coffee place for me. My usual go to is the white mocha at most places I go, and they do it the absolute best here. However their seasonal drinks are great too. As of late, I've been getting their Kurogoma latte, which is also fantastic. Absolutely try this place out if you haven't. 5/5 stars.
