Pangolin is such a cute café in Midtown! The complimentary Turkish sweet treat that comes with your drink is the cherry on top and makes the whole experience feel extra special. The café has a crisp, clean vibe that's both welcoming and relaxing. The drinks are delicious, the prices are standard, and that little Turkish treat is what really makes it all worth it. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is charming, and it's a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.
The ambiance is super cute and a cozy cafe to sit and yap at. There is places to sit inside and outside. They offer one free turkish delight with a purchase of any drink. I ordered the oatchata. It was really creamy and had a nice balance of oat milk, vanilla and cinnamon. There were two employees manning both the bar and register. They worked really well together and tag teammed the rush of people waiting to order and to get their drinks.
Tucked away is this cute little shop that has a big coffee and tea menu. They also make their own Turkish delight and a free piece is given with every purchase. I tried the pomegranate pistachio and it was very good with my matcha latte. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

Their Turkish delights are delicious, and there are a variety of flavors to choose from including fruit flavors, such as grapefruit and lemon, sour flavors such as sour raspberry, and nutty flavors such as pistachio and pomegranate pistachio. I like the environment for hanging out with friends, and the outdoor patio is a nice touch.
I was in town only for a day but I always need my matcha fix, so I went in trusty Yelp to find where I would get that. Pangolin Cafe is a very aesthetically designed space with a peaceful and stylish vibe. I had a few questions and the girl working was very friendly and gracious. She recommended the banana cold foam matcha and I went with it. The drink was a very carefully handcrafted treat , and it came with a free Turkish delight as well! I would definitely visit again next time I'm in Reno, thank you Pangolin!
This coffee shop was amazing! I saw it online and had to check it out. The baristas were incredibly kind and recommended their miso brown sugar matcha when I asked for matcha suggestions. I loved how it had both sweet and umami taste to it - it surprisingly worked really well together. My boyfriend ordered the pistachio latte, which was also delicious. I especially liked the crushed pistachios on top; it was a really nice touch. With each drink purchase, we also received two complimentary Turkish delights. We tried the pomegranate and pistachio flavors, and both were yummy. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm visiting Reno.
After hearing about Pangolin for many years, we finally made it on a Sunday morning. (Note: They are closed on Saturdays.) It's a quaint coffee shop with some food menu item. My hubby ordered an Americano and I ordered their special liege waffle with strawberries and cream. This was delightful. It was my dessert after having a pizza lunch. We also received a complimentary piece of kiwi strawberry Turkish delight. It was a fun discovery to finally check out Pangolin Cafe.
Great location, nice close accessible parking, cute atmosphere. Got a recommendation to try the cubano hot latte. Great recommendation of a well balanced coffee that is only slightly sweet. Daughters ordered the strawberry matcha latte with house made syrup and loved it. Nice location with an enjoyable outdoor patio where we were graced with a slight morning breeze. A complimentary tasting of Turkish delight was offered with each purchase of a beverage. Asked for recommendations and got the pistachio which was really good and the tart raspberry. I'd definitely order the pistachio again!! The pistachio complimented the coffee and the raspberry would be awesome with a non coffee drink. read more
We came in on a busy Sunday morning & despite the line, we received our drinks very quickly! I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha & it's so delicious! Not too sweet & super refreshing. My partner got the Cardamom Lemonade and added a shot of espresso. The barista taking our order shared that this was "new, but we can do that!" casting no judgement upon my partner's strange order! He ended up loving his drink! We got the Flavor of the Month for our Turkish Delight sample (Li Hing Mui Peach Mango) and it's been our favorite so far! All of the baristas are lovely, but we have to give Nina a shoutout for being incredible! read more
I've gone here twice within the past month for the Strawberry Matcha and I will be back again very soon because it's just that good. I get mine 1/2 sweet and it's the perfect mix of matcha with their housemade strawberry simple syrup with fresh strawberries. I've only grabbed drinks to-go but the inside is super cute with plenty of seating. I went in the last morning on a weekday and it wasn't too busy but when I went on a Sunday it was packed in the morning but I still only waited ~15 minutes for my drinks. I will be back for the strawberry matcha and hope to try some of their other unique drinks in the future too! read more

Wonderful coffee drinks and Turkish delights! They have a seasonal drink menu. I got the mango sticky rice matcha, great mango flavor to complement the matcha. Do not miss out on their chai, it is the best in town. Turkish delights are out of this world. read more

There is usually a bit of a wait, but it is 100% worth it,the matcha here is incredibly good! A super sweet bonus is that every purchase comes with a free piece of Turkish candy. Highly recommend! read more

Quality/Quantity - Just gave more blood at Quest and wanted to treat myself to a decent coffee and breakfast! Limited menu, but done well. Seasonal specials, etc. Got the Cubano Breve - So good! Not as strong as the Cubano I drank when in Little Havana in Florida. But still good. Pumpkin Pie Waffle - My wife really enjoyed this. I thought it was good also. I like pumpkin, but not as a puree. I also got two confection samples, two Turkish delights; my daughter's favorites. I will bring her next time she visits. But not as good as the ones we buy in SLO, Monterey, etc. Atmosphere - Very small local business. Limited indoor seating, plenty of unused outdoor seating but it was too cold today. See pictures. Very small shared parking lot, but plenty of free street parking. Open 6 days a week from 7am to 5pm, closed Saturdays. Clean shared restrooms. Service - Love the fact that the team here knows all the regulars! So welcoming and friendly. Said bye to everyone as they left, etc. Price - $14 + generous tip, but that is the price for quality! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2019; looking forward to introducing you to more people. read more
Friendly staff and some unique drinks. We had the pistachio latte with a strawberry and cream liege waffle. I was sad to learn that the waffles are not made in house but rather bought and dressed up with different flavors. You can taste the difference from prepackaged versus liege waffles made in house. Also my pistachio latte was delicious but I overheard another group taking back their drinks and complaining that there wasn't enough pistachio flavor in it. Although they did go light on the sugar which may explain everything. Seating was nice and clean. Total bill was $18. Expensive for Reno but I might come back for the drink. read more

I will tell everyone that is the best place to have a strawberry matcha in town! I say that as clear as I can. Though they have a small space, they have cute space to hang out and study, they offer free wifi for anyone like me who wants to study outside the house. Upon coming in, you will greeted by the barista's and sometimes when they are busy They will manage to give a service top-notch. I always think about their strawberry matcha, sometimes when im brave I order what I feel. They have a pistacio latte and some seasonal that out of your comfort. They have a small food menu, I usually grab their belgian waffle. Loved that they always give you a sample of turkish delights and stamp to collect. Such s cute promotiom. I bought some turkish delights to give it to my friends in California, she said "This is the one of the best turkish delights she ever had". But honestly, the sample makes me want to buy a whol bag. If you are looking for a local coffee shop in Reno, this is far by the best place. Btw: They are closed on Saturday's kind a bummer! But understandable that they need to recharge and have break. read more
Another 5 star visit to Pangolin, this time for the Breadgirl popup and the Pumpkin Spice Horchata, as always, totally amazing. Every single coffee I have had here is just spectacular, but I have found a whole new happiness in brining their espresso beans home... Not only do I only exclusively brew Pangolin beans at home, but I've had the opportunity to convert a few other people to them as well and the consensus across everyone is, pure perfection. They are always as fresh as can be, and just have magic taste to them... Pangolin has got my heart, that's for sure, and I won't be stopping my weekly visits anytime soon. Every single one of the staff is incredible, always happy and friendly. I'm still going to keep pushing to a a paid weekend espresso workshop.... I have things I would love to work on for my home espresso skills with the professionals! read more
What a lovely coffee shop to have in Reno! A unique and laidback spot for different types of drinks/food with a sweet snack called a "Turkish delight." The matcha I had was pretty nice and I always get the lemon flavored Turkish delight. The workers are always very nice and informed on the whole menu. Tried the new seasonal matcha this past weekend ... the banana matcha with banana cold foam! Super tasty with plenty of banana flavor and a flavorful matcha! Of course it came with their delicious complimentary Turkish delight, I chose pomegranate pistachio! Hidden gem in midtown and definitely worth the stop! I tried the matcha and the lemonade, and both were super delicious and refreshing. The barista was so kind and welcoming, and I really appreciated her recommendations on the most popular drinks and her personal favorites. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience. The vibe was cozy, the drinks were amazing, and overall it's a must-try spot if you're in the area! read more
One of the best coffee shops in Reno. The iced cubano breve is my favorite but they also have really good speciality lattes. The lines get long on Sunday but it's definitely worth the wait. Pangolin is one of my favorite spots in Midtown Reno -- a total gem with a bright, modern feel and consistently excellent drinks and pastries. One of the things I love most: every drink comes with a piece of house-made Turkish delight -- such a thoughtful (and delicious) touch. Their tea is bold and full of flavor, their pastries are top-tier, and their English toffee is absolutely amazing -- buttery, crisp, and perfectly sweet. I also really appreciate their collaborations with other local businesses; it gives the place a true community vibe. One heads-up: they're closed on Saturdays, which always throws me off, but honestly just makes me appreciate them even more the other six days of the week. Can't recommend Pangolin enough. read more
Stopped in for a quick coffee and was genuinely impressed! I ordered the Cuban breve, and it was rich, smooth, and perfectly sweetened--full of bold flavor without being overpowering. You can tell they put care into every cup. The ambiance was just as memorable. It gave me major Sacramento coffee shop vibes--cozy yet modern, with a creative, laid-back energy that makes you want to stay awhile. I'm always excited to see what seasonal drinks pangolin comes up with but the last couple of times I went in it seems there was a difference between what I got versus what they advertise on their Instagram for marketing. This could be because they've gotten very busy, one day they even had numbers instead of calling out our names. Either way I've been disappointed with a couple of their seasonal drinks recently: like no garnish on a certain drink or a cold hot chocolate. read more

This place has a very clean and inviting aesthetic and is a lovely stops on a given morning. We caught the place on a Monday morning and it was a perfect spot to start a day. They served our drinks with these amazingly flavorful Turkish delights that carried flavor on flavor. Our drinks were spiced & flavored with intent having ordered the Cubano Breve & Cardamom Latte, they did not disappoint. With a perfect amount coffee to accompaniment it offered a subtly pleasing cup of coffee. The staff is also super friendly in explaining anything you may inquiries about. Pangolin Cafe was a treat! The inside was small but cute, many people in the cafe were working on their laptops. I tried the Pistachio Latte with almond milk and it was delicious. The flavor was good both syrup and coffee-bean wise. They also give you a Turkish delight of your choice, I chose pistachio, which was also yummy. Stopped into Pangolin specifically to try out the Pumpkin Spice Horchata, it was a one day special and I knew I needed to try it before it was gone! Of course it was absolutely delicious! I chose to get it iced, my husband and kids chose the hot version. Both were incredible! This paired very nicely with the pecan cinnamon roll I got from the Bread Girl Pop-up out front. Keep brining on the new fun flavors Pangolin, we will for sure be in to try them. Hoping for a Pecan Praline flavor next. read more

i absolutely adore the time i spend at pangolin café! my friend kendra introduced me to this place a few years ago, but i hadn't come in myself until two years ago. it's safe to say that pangolin has become my third place! all of the staff are such sweethearts, and have learned all of my names haha! mar is simply amazing and can make the best drinks in the truckee meadows! my go to drinks are typically a cortado (gibraltar), the iced cubano breve sub oat instead, or a hot pistachio latte when it's cold! they also get uber creative with the seasonal drink menu as well! YOU MUST TRY THE SAND HARBOR OR STRAWBERRY MATCHA OR ELSE. i love the turkish inspiration and how they blended it with an american cafe! they serve turkish delights with every drink, and the pomegranate pistachio is the best one. followed closely by the tart raspberry. this is definitely a great coffee shop to meet up with friends, or to get some school or work completed. would love to see an improved waiting line as it get crowded and confusing when it's busy. i have spent countless hours playing pokémon and getting work done here. occasionally, if you come in on a friday afternoon you may see me taking a nap in one of the blue chairs! pangolin café is a great place for beverages, delights, and vibes! i highly recommend it whether you're a local or just visiting reno! come check it out! read more
