Pangolin is such a cute café in Midtown! The complimentary Turkish sweet treat that comes with your drink is the cherry on top and makes the whole experience feel extra special. The café has a crisp, clean vibe that's both welcoming and relaxing. The drinks are delicious, the prices are standard, and that little Turkish treat is what really makes it all worth it. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is charming, and it's a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Oatchata (oatmilk w cinnamon and vanilla)

The ambiance is super cute and a cozy cafe to sit and yap at. There is places to sit inside and outside. They offer one free turkish delight with a purchase of any drink. I ordered the oatchata. It was really creamy and had a nice balance of oat milk, vanilla and cinnamon. There were two employees manning both the bar and register. They worked really well together and tag teammed the rush of people waiting to order and to get their drinks.

Tucked away is this cute little shop that has a big coffee and tea menu. They also make their own Turkish delight and a free piece is given with every purchase. I tried the pomegranate pistachio and it was very good with my matcha latte. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

Wonderful coffee drinks and Turkish delights! They have a seasonal drink menu. I got the mango sticky rice matcha, great mango flavor to complement the matcha. Do not miss out on their chai, it is the best in town. Turkish delights are out of this world.

The Pangolin Cafe made the perfect coffee stop! It is a small, busy shop so if you plan on sitting inside get there early. The coffee was good quality and the pastry was delicious. They even give out free Turkish delights with your order.

One of my favorite local spots! The staff is always so nice and make the bests drinks. Anything matcha here is a win. And the Turkish delight that comes with every order is simply delightful!!! Calm clean interior, perfect for studying or hanging out.

Pistachio latte with complimentary sour raspberry Turkish delights

Really nice vibes. I love that a Turkish delight accompanies every coffee order. Their Turkish delights are delicious, and there are a variety of flavors to choose from including fruit flavors, such as grapefruit and lemon, sour flavors such as sour raspberry, and nutty flavors such as pistachio and pomegranate pistachio. I like the environment for hanging out with friends, and the outdoor patio is a nice touch.

I was in town only for a day but I always need my matcha fix, so I went in trusty Yelp to find where I would get that. Pangolin Cafe is a very aesthetically designed space with a peaceful and stylish vibe. I had a few questions and the girl working was very friendly and gracious. She recommended the banana cold foam matcha and I went with it. The drink was a very carefully handcrafted treat , and it came with a free Turkish delight as well! I would definitely visit again next time I'm in Reno, thank you Pangolin!

There is usually a bit of a wait, but it is 100% worth it,the matcha here is incredibly good! A super sweet bonus is that every purchase comes with a free piece of Turkish candy. Highly recommend!

This coffee shop was amazing! I saw it online and had to check it out. The baristas were incredibly kind and recommended their miso brown sugar matcha when I asked for matcha suggestions. I loved how it had both sweet and umami taste to it - it surprisingly worked really well together. My boyfriend ordered the pistachio latte, which was also delicious. I especially liked the crushed pistachios on top; it was a really nice touch. With each drink purchase, we also received two complimentary Turkish delights. We tried the pomegranate and pistachio flavors, and both were yummy. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm visiting Reno.

Turkish delights. Yummy!

After hearing about Pangolin for many years, we finally made it on a Sunday morning. (Note: They are closed on Saturdays.) It's a quaint coffee shop with some food menu item. My hubby ordered an Americano and I ordered their special liege waffle with strawberries and cream. This was delightful. It was my dessert after having a pizza lunch. We also received a complimentary piece of kiwi strawberry Turkish delight. It was a fun discovery to finally check out Pangolin Cafe.

However The presentation was good, the restaurant was clean, and the employees super friendly. I got the breakfast crepe and my wife got the Montecristo. While searching, we noticed that most nearby places had bad reviews, which already felt discouraging. Still, we were hungry and decided to give this place a try. There was one employee wearing a cute Christmas hair accessory, it looked a bit cartoonish and was kind of funny. Unfortunately, that was probably the highlight. The food and the overall style of the place were disappointing. Plastic plates and utensils, a breakfast burrito that fell apart because it wasn't wrapped properly (I didn't take a photo, but trust me, it did), and a large savory breakfast pancake with something resembling béchamel... or a very poor imitation of it. To make things worse, the table we were seated at was dirty, and my husband actually had to clean it himself. To be fair, the coffee, the salsa verde that came with my husband's burrito, and the crepe on its own were pretty good. But as a whole, the meal just wasn't enjoyable or well-executed. I understand this is meant to be a very casual, fast-service concept, but even with that in mind, the execution and cleanliness were disappointing. So, I wouldn't recommend spending money here, even if everything else is closed.

What an absolute banger of a find. It's next to impossible to find a good southern biscuit this far…read morewest, but Pine State has it figured out. I tried the McIsley (fried chicken, dill pickles, ground mustard, honey) and nearly passed out from pure bliss. The biscuit is golden brown on the outside while warm and pillowy within. You'll need a fork and knife, but the menagerie of sweet and savory building blocks will come together any which way you deconstruct it. My wife tried The Chatfield (fried chicken, cheddar, bacon, apple butter) and was equally content. The Oregon Marionberry jam was a tart yet sweet customized side, and I much enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese to round off the plate. The breading is evenly blasted with seasoning and the tomatoes themselves are plump but not the least bit soggy. Without a doubt though, the service was unmatched. They handled a line going out the front door with class, getting us tables before we even ordered to remove the burden of seat searching and our food getting cold. They checked on the dining area promptly though they didn't have to. The staff's hospitality matches the southern inspo of the food! We sat outside and enjoyed the slight breeze as the heavenly baked aromas of the kitchen wafted outside. Overall, an 11/10 experience. Love biscuits? Run, don't walk!

The only downside is their weird seating rules. I was in a party of 2 and they would not ring us up until a table for 2 opened up as I did not want to sit at the bar. For context there were multiple areas for parties of 4 and I found that a little annoying. I think what they should have done was sit us at a party of 4 table and move us if there was a party of 4 waiting and only a table for 2 available.

Ended up with a piroshki and a latte, both were absolutely amazing!!! As I was eating there, David entered and started setting up for their paint night. I'm not sure if that's the norm or not since it was our first time. Secondly.. it took forever to order. The two young ladies were stocking the fridge behind the counter.. said hi and then continued to stock the fridge. Finally another woman from the back came to the front to help us. Such a cute place and feels like a hidden gem! Would love to take a paint class.

I will start by saying my sandwich and beer were tasty and good. They will boast all local ingredients, but 30 bucks for a cheese steak on ciabatta bread is steep. The burger my wife had was the same price and nothing special to note exept she ordered no tomato and it came with tomato. Both of our fries were soggy and cold. A draft beer for 16 dollars is also more than expected. Our bartender was professional and chatty. He did pull a nice bottle of tequila down for us to admire, and told us about some other fancy top shelf stuff they had. I appreciate they were even open. Service was great, everyone looked taken care of. The place looked clean; and the food looked great everywhere, ours just flopped. All of the other patrons there were probably late 50s and up at 2pm on Memorial day. This is one of the most expensive underwhelming lunches I've had ever had in Reno. I am sure if we had said something they would have given us new fries, but that isnt the point. You have a price set well above average so I expect that it will be executed suprbly.
