I heard from a friend that this place is really good and we all met to catch up. When entering, they have the register and tables to the side. The tables are big enough for large groups. People say their bagels are amazing so we had to try. We ordered the following: - Breakfast Sando: The bagel was chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The egg was fluffy. This used to be the old Pola Poke I believe and luckily they do still have poke! They've just expanded and included some breakfast items and salads. We had the bagel and schmear as well as the breakfast sandi. For sandwiches, these were very filling! We ate these around 1pm and we were still full around 7pm! They were pretty good too, very thick and had ample amount of sauce. I would give this place more of a 3.5 because the breakfast stuff is served until a certain time. Looking for a bite for breakfast and remembered that I had been wanting to visit Lillo in NW Reno. Love the interior of this restaurant-spacious, bright, clean and very welcoming. They also have a very nice patio space. We had the mochi waffle and bagel and lox. Salmon was fresh and bagel was prepared well. I love capers and was so glad they added a generous portion. The mochi waffle was delicious-light and sweet. You could just eat it by itself it was that good, but why would you want to when you have delicious ube whipped cream and ripe berries? My friends and I were out on an early morning hike that was a bit too cold, and we were in need of great brunch and coffee. Happy that we chose to come here. Ordered an avocado toast, mochi waffle and Vacation poke (great name!), and it was all delicious. Coffee served in big mugs were fresh, strong and great. Just wow - where has this place been all my life?!? We were absolutely blown away by the selection and are going to have to go back to try all the things we missed! We came in around 10:30 on a Saturday and the staff were all friendly and attentive. It wasn't too busy at all. The restaurant is clean and while the parking lot can be tight with other businesses open, there was plenty of parking. We had the mochi waffle which was delicious though I would not recommend to anyone who doesn't like the taste of powdered sugar. The lox bagel did have a poke twist with strong dill flavoring but it was the best bagel and lox I've had! We came back the next weekend to have it again + the breakfast sandwich. If I didn't know it was self seating and that you would have to order at the front I would have just sat there because no one says anything. I ordered my food and asked for water. The cashier said ok but never gave me water. Turns out that is self serve I had to figure that out myself as well. We were one of two tables so they weren't busy. Came here from school pickup with my son. Cute little place, lots of sunlight and foliage inside. I tried the avocado toast bagel with a side of bacon. The avocado toast was packed with avocado but the bagel itself being chewy and it being open faced made it really messy and difficult to eat. I needed loads of napkins. The flavor is good, I enjoyed the pickled onions. The breakfast sandwich my son ordered is your typical breakfast sando that they added kale to. Bagels for breakfast are not my thing but I have to say the bagel flavor choices here are just fantastic. We had the Zatar bagel and I would love to come back for their Miso-Charred Scallion Schmear. We also shared their Shakshuka which was spiced appropriately and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Their patio seating area was a great place for our romantic breakfast date but sitting inside would also be very comfortable is it is nice in there as well. I am so glad to see another cafe in the area! I used to stop here many years ago when it was a cafe of a different name, Lillo's is better! My husband and I had a beautiful breakfast together on their patio. We split the Shakshuka and and a Zatar Bagel and Lox both of which were just lovely. Neither of us are much for standard breakfast fair so this was just so refreshing! Topped off with a latte and hot tea this was a lovely morning. Everyone there was also so kind and helpful. So good! I came in because I heard they just recently opened up and had to stop in to try it! The first thing I noticed were the freshly made bagels! I love avocado toast and they had it on the menu so I had to order it! The garlic bagel was so good and the toppings were so delicious, it was perfect! I plan to go back to try their other items! Run to this place immediately! It's been a few days, but I am still obsessing over the items we tried. Also the service was phenomenal! Everything looked and sounded so good but we couldn't decide. The friendly staff walked us through everything since it was our first time and let us know what their favorite things were. To start I chose the Za'atar bagel with Miso- Scallion Smear. The flavors together were unbelievably good! Nothing like I've ever had before that's for sure. The complimentary strawberry water was also very nice and refreshing. Something I'll definitely be making for myself at home along with a few mint leaves. They have a cute outdoor patio area that provides plenty of shade and they are dog friendly! First visit here. Nice place. Order at the counter although I did not see anything that said that. If you come in and sit down which I did as did others, no one says anything to you. This would be a more enthusiastic review if it was a regular table service restaurant. Personal preference. A very small menu and I don't think it matches the web site menu which mentions a grinder salad which I did not see on their menu. Too bad - it looks good. I had the Arlington salad: "iceberg, romaine, bacon, Swiss cheese, cherry tomatoes, toasted almonds, bread crumbs, and lemon-garlic vinaigrette". I did not see or taste any cheese. Although the web site menu says bread crumbs, I think they meant croutons, which is fine because they are easier to eat around. The croutons tasted a bit scorched, although that might be influenced by whatever bread they started with. I also added chicken. Overall interesting & good flavors. We both ordered iced tea but their vat of tea is warm and instantly melted the ice. You can eat inside or outside. There is easy parking at the front door and even a few trees for shade! read more

I've been eyeing this place so one morning my husband picked up bagels for us which were really good and I highly recommend but go early as the flavors run out. Recently after reviewing their menu I also learned about their other items and have been wanting to go back. We tried their elote bowl and I loved it, the chicken was nice and tender but I would request less rice as the majority of the bowl was filled was rice. Tried 3 bagels, loved the Za'atar with the jalapeño cream cheese and would definitely get it again but maybe toasted next time. The matcha was good and is offered sweetened and unsweetened which I appreciate. The cardamom snickerdoodle didn't have much spice to it but the texture was soft and chewy so I wasn't disappointed. I am more of an everything bagel person and salt was all they had - maybe get here earlier if you don't like salt bagels? The salmon was delicious. The flavor balanced. Absolutely amazing!!! Came here on the recommendation of a friend who called it "the hot new place" and since I live under a rock, I went fully in! And she was right on. It was excellent. It was the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. I had mine on the za'atar bagel, my friend had hers on the everything bagel and the other ordered the avocado toast. Everyone was happy. Our coffees were also all delicious. We also had the pleasure of talking to the owner and being served by her and another staff member and both were so kind and welcoming. We got to talk about the business, the bagels and their social media. We felt very welcomed! Such a cute little brunch spot in town! My sister and I went here for brunch on a snowy day. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by the cashier and she introduced us to the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and I would say on the smaller end. There were customers consistently coming in and out throughout the morning. We ended up ordering the mochi waffle, breakfast sandi, and elote bowl. The breakfast sandi was both of our personal favorite - it was delicious and we would get in again! The sauce on the bagel was amazing. The elote bowl was delicious as well; you can tell they use fresh ingredients in their dishes. Lastly the mochi waffle was one we personally wouldn't get again. The waffle is served with ube whipped cream but the ube flavor wasn't prominent, it just tasted like whipped cream. Additionally, the mochi waffle was a bit tough to eat. We also got the Strawberry Basil Rita which was refreshing. I personally wouldn't get it again. The biggest takeaway from this establishment was how great their customer service is. We have been back a few times now, trying new stuff every chance we get. We have yet to find anything we don't love. Today we had the avocado toast, breakfast sandi, and bagel and lox. It was a win, win, and WIN! For starters, the bagels are delicious. And that was the base of each of these items. The avocado toast (plain bagel - yes, we are boring) was a fresh change up from the usual. The bagel is reason #1. Beyond that, there are the fresh cherry tomatoes QUARTERED, so they're not sliding all over and out of the grip of your teeth. You can add bacon & and egg, to up the fill value, which we did last week, and do not regret! They add cilantro lime crema (OMG - I could drink it!) and their DELICIOUS pickled onions. The breakfast sandi was equally as delicious, with the addition of cooked kale (appreciate that!) and chipotle mayo - also delicious!! Last but not least - the bagel and lox. Listen - I NEVER order this because I do not enjoy smoked anything, especially not fish. But they use their house cured gravlax (salt cured salmon). They put it on a bagel of your choosing, add a generous schmear of your choosing as well, then gravlax, then nice sized capers and those infamous picked onions. Damn it if I'm not a changed woman! This item was not my order, but I took the obligatory 'no thank you' bite, and I'm so glad I did. I will 100% order that for myself. We also enjoyed a chai latte and vanilla latte, while we waited for the to go order. Both delicious. Don't skip this place. It's spectacular. read more

So glad we tried this new reopening and rebranding of this previous poke spot. I love their outdoor patio and it remains one of my favorite outdoor spots to enjoy a peaceful lunch on a sunny day. Been meaning to try this spot for a while now. Took my wife and my parents this morning. Super friendly staff. Lattes and Mochas were very good. Wife is vegan and ordered the avocado toast. We didn't realize it came with a crème sauce. Staff when realized made a fresh bagel without any issue. Excellent service. I ate the order with the crème sauce. Wife ate the vegan version. TO BE CLEAR: I am writing this review becasue I want this business to SUCCEED. However, these things need improvement. the young lady at the register where you order needs to LISTEN with both ears when customers place an order. My wife ordered a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. When she was done placing the order, the young lady asked, "what kind of bagel do you want? Do you want that toasted? Anything to drink?" Guess what? When our order arrived, the bagel was not toasted and there was no coffee. Upon inquiring, the coffee was never added to our order. So, the untoasted bagel went back to the kitchen to be thrown away (I assume) and a toasted bagel prepared. As for the coffee, the server brought a cup of black coffee but no sweetners, cream or utensils. The coffee did not tasted freshly made. we sat on the patio to dine and one large table was completely covered in berries from a tree above. The patio looks like it hasn't been swept or cleaned in weeks, or longer. A sign on the main front door asks you to use the other (patio) entrance, redirecting you to the area just mentioned, an unswept poorly maintained dining area. We assumed redirecting traffic to the patio door is to eliminate people lining up and out the front door. Why not situate the register elsewhere where queuing will not be a problem? when my order arrived, it was not a breakfast sandwich but a bagel with lox. You are given a number to put on the tablewhen you go sit down. What purpose do they serve if the waitstaff ignore them? My breakfast sandwich did finally arrive and IT WAS DELICIOUS. TO THE OWNERS: I want to keep coming here but you need to look around, clean up the patio area, train your staff better and and have them focus on customer service. I've seen many small businesses fail for things like we experienced this morning. Get it together so you will not suffer a siimilar fate. p.s. I'll be back again because the food is good but my loyalty will eventually fade if the service and cleanliness side of things doesn't get better. read more
