5/5/26 1st timer here and it did not disappoint. I came shortly after they opened at 6 AM and I was the first customer in that morning. So many choices to choose from I went with the Back 2 Life on an everything bagel and it definitely had everything on it. It has egg, bacon and sausage, hashbrown, and a little bit of hot sauce.. It was delicious. It was a massive bagel, see pic. I was only able to eat half took the other half home. Service was great Stephanie T is the one that helped me check out and was very friendly and informative. Ambience is nice. Plenty of seating everywhere. Definitely will be back to try other stuff. Awesome location for a great bagels and sandwiches. It's tucked into a little corner in the Independence Square on Moana Ln- perfect in and out access. The inside is very clean, the staff super polite and a bit sassy and the service is very quick. I ordered the Back 2Life breakfast sandwich on a garlic and onion bagel. It included an eggs, bacon and sausage on a perfectly toasted bagel. They have many bagel selections that can be bought separately or by the bunch. Fast, friendly, and delicious! I heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out. So glad I did. I ordered the Back 2 Life breakfast bagel and it was soooo good! You get to pick two meats (I chose bacon and sausage) and they were generous with the meat. It was a perfect, filling breakfast bagel. They also prepared it super quickly. Staff was super friendly and patient, loved the gal who was at the cash register (I think her name was Georgia)! I ordered a peach ice tea as well which was refreshing. Hubby and I tried the Proper Philly on a Hoagie and it was crave worthy! We added sweet peppers which is a must. One sandwich was enough for us to share. We were able to grab a table on a busy Saturday afternoon before our order came up but with a steady line at the counter this may not be the case. If you're a morning bagel person, don't skip this place!! Something about this place is magic. This is the first place I ever tried a lox bagel and I have been HOOKED ever since. Only one person on the register, but many staff members making the orders which was nice. I had the cinnamon raisin bagel with butter, I asked for it to be toasted, but it was just heated. It was still good and the bagel portion is big. There are many bagels to choose from and of course bagel sandwiches which looked good. My bagel was $1.95, .50 for butter and an apple juice for $3.50. My breakfast was under $7 bucks. The place is decorated with a cool mural and below the mural is a window to watch them make the bagels which is fun to see. Eat more hole foods! This place was packed on Saturday, but the line moved at a good pace and the bagels were worth the wait! I got the egg, pastrami and cheese bagel on a blueberry bagel. The bagel was savory despite the fruit, also it was toasted to perfection. We also got the proper Philly bagel sandwich, very good! Both hot sandwiches came hot, hooray! Our son got the Italian on sesame. It was so packed it was hard to eat, not actually a problem. The only suggestion I could offer would be to toast this one too even though it's a cold sandwich, it would have elevated it to next level status;) All three were delicious in their own right. First time checking out the Tahoe Bagel on Moana! I was excited to see they serve coffee from Drink Coffee Do Stuff, and both drinks we tried were excellent. The iced blackberry lavender white mocha and almond joy iced latte were flavorful and well done. I ordered the garlic onion bagel with garlic cream cheese and my husband had the Back 2 Life breakfast sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, especially the cream cheese, which was full of flavor. The menu has tons of breakfast and lunch options. Great but inconsistent! This place is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the wait! The coffee is a big strong for me, but their bagels are incredible. I wish they were more consistent. Getting a bagel sandwich on a Thursday means shorter lines and faster service, but you'll sacrifice quality. Coming in a Saturday means a 20 min wait, but a much better product. Tahoe Bagel just opened (1/28/26) their third location, now in Reno at the Independance Square on Moana Ln. Owner Jeffrey Kaplan wanted to bring his "East Coast Bagels" to the Biggest Little City. Always open to a good bagel, we had to give it a try. The restaurant as a subtle but distinct Tahoe vibe, with the open kitchen atmostphere, so the entire operation is on beautiful display, adding to the clean, open and airy atmostphere. My wife ordered the classic Cinnamon Raisin Bagel with Cream Cheese. Since we had originally ordered our order to go, her bagel came with Philly Creme Cheese packages. I suppose these are just easier to travel with. Tahoe Bagel makes their own Cream Cheese, everything from the classics like plain and strawberry to most adventurous flavors like their Verde and Jalepeno. Be sure to ask for the hand crafted cream cheese. More for variety I ordered one of the breakfast bagels. The Sausage Egg Breakfast Bagel was truly legit. The Bagel is lightly toasted, giving it a light snap on the outside, while leaving the inside of the bagel light and rich with flavor. The Sausage and Egg were cooked to perfection. Even though this was technically only their 3 day open (in Reno) the place was hopping (8:30am) with a solid line of guests waiting to order their favorite bagel. Delicious, inviting and high quality, we are so glad that the Tahoe Bagel Co has come to our little town. In a world of "anti-carb" Tahoe Bagel's are a worthy endulgence. read more

Awesome new spot to get a bagel in Reno! Been a couple of times this week. Went first thing one morning and it was quiet and peaceful to get a bagel and coffee. Went on the weekend and it was the most popular place in town so you may have to wait a min or two longer but it is worth it. I will say they don't skimp on the cream cheese so be ready to enjoy that little extra. The bagels are well made and the cream cheese is flavorful. Nice clean bagel shop with a good bagel selection. Decor is fantastic--warm and inviting with a bar, benches, ample seating, good size corner TV, plants on shelves, elegant ceiling. Really liked the interior :). Can get a little crowded (which I guess is a good sign). Did not love the percussive nightclubby audio, which did not go well with a breakfast vibe. As for the food, solid. We'd been looking for a good bagel shop since Lilo / OffCenter shut down, and this might be the place. The bagels taste fresh and handcrafted, if maybe a bit light on flavor (we tried the spinach pesto Asiago, jalapeño cheddar, and sesame). My egg and turkey sandwich was plump and juicy and the black coffee was spot on: rich and roasty, smooth, no bad aftertaste. Texture/chewiness of the bagels was an A+. Really loved the personality of the people on staff--friendly and funny and we appreciated that they checked in on how we were enjoying the food and spotted on their own when we needed more napkins. I'd say pricing is on the high average side, but they really do put a lot of effort into the ambience and the food itself. Definitely worth a visit; this might end up being your go-to bagel spot as well. read more

For this visit I went real basic and got a traditional bagel and cream cheese. The bagel is not overly chewy and has great flavor. The cream cheese was full of flavor, and there was plenty of spread. There are multiple chairs and couches, making it a quiet place for a work session or a coffee date with a friend. I hadn't tried their original location but have tried a few other bagel shops in Reno looking for something close to the quality of a great Jewish Deli in my hometown. I'm thrilled that this egg bagel exceeded my expectations. Toasted perfectly with a nice crunch on the exterior but still soft inside with a generous amount of creamy cheese. They serve it sandwich style and cut in half so it's easy to grab and eat on the go. I also tried their Oatmeal Cookie iced latte which was a new flavor to me - tastes exactly like you would think. One of the best breakfast style bagels I've had in all of Reno! Quick and friendly service from the staff with a cabin style atmosphere that reminds me of some of the restaurants located up in the Tahoe region. I will be back for more, but I am docking a point for inconsistent quantity of ingredients on their bagels. I highly recommend the Proper Philly with Shaved Ribeye on a Hoagie Roll. Second the service was great, food came out quick and hot. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is great overall. I also recommend getting the Raspberry White Mocha, holy crap I don't drink coffee that much but the taste was awesome. Perfect amount of sweetness and a great taste of raspberry. We also tried the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on a Plain Bagel and it was HUGE. Could use a bit more flavor, but it was still good. This place definitely is up there with my favorites in town such as Desert Sun Bagels, My Favorite Muffin, and Stella. Definitely a good place to try. Bagels were cold and not even toasted!!! I came in there the other day and got 2 bagels w cream cheese. got my food and the bagels were room temperature, not even toasted, with cold cream cheese. So I went back they re made it for me and again you couldn't find a single sign of it ever being toasted.. 2nd bagels were lukewarm with cold cream cheese. Only thing positive I can say is that they were all nice, So idk it could not even be their faults and just whoever the heck is showing them how to make these bagels but I could have recreated the finished product by taking a bagel, cutting it in half, slapping fridge cold cream cheese on and nuking the thing for 15 seconds.. unreal read more
