Beet Carpaccio
Savanna N.

This place really is Reno's best kept secret. Mainly because it's members only (except for Reno food week). Everything was soooooooo tasty! That beet carpaccio is genius and different and oh so delicious! Esther was our server and she was great but the helpers were very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and I'm sad I didn't get the girls name that was helping us. She deserves to be a server because she was a rockstar! I loved that this place sources from local farms and the lions mane mushrooms in the chicken dish were amazing and I very much so want that recipe! Very cute on the inside, it's in a clubhouse that looks like a pretty castle, but had a super modern twist on it. Wish I could come back here for more!

I must have lost my mind this summer. I went here for my birthday and didn't even review it? Strange.... Anyway..I went with a few good friends during Reno Food and Drink Week. This was a total splurge night. The last really big meal I would have for a number of months. It's been a little long so I really can't go into the details like I normally do. But I do remember a few of the things that I enjoyed. I really enjoyed the Wild Game Tasting. The chicken Liver Pate was a great surprise to see on the menu. I had never had Sturgeon, so I really had to try that and see if it is as good as I had heard. For dessert I had to get some of the donuts and the warm cookies and milk! All of the food was excellent and I left bursting at the seams with the deliciousness. I really wish I could afford a membership here because the experience was totally on point. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere with good service and excellent food.

Strawberry shortcake

Love returning back to Nineteen 57 for food and drink week! It is such an elegant and beautiful setting for an evening. I loved our delicious appetizers- the empanadas came with the most delicious refreshing chimichurri sauce and the shrimp and pork dumplings were savory bites of heaven! I enjoyed my lightly crisp-skinned snapper with perfectly sautéed veggies and tomatoes that popped garnishing the dish. I think the only let down was the strawberry shortcake dessert- why cheapen it with funnel cake which is so gross and not an elevated interpretation at all. I would have been so happy had they simply served the flavorful, creamy ice cream alone by itself with some of the strawberries!

The food was very good. The bread flight was delicious with the specialty butter, regular bread and butter will never be something I want after having this elevated bread. The beet carpaccio with the added ingredients, goat cheese, and toasted hazelnuts were perfectly paired and yummy. The asparagus soup was good. The shrimp and pork dumplings were good, but the dipping sauce was extremely good. I wanted to drink it as it was so good. The main courses, the red snapper, wagyu, and chicken were very good, cooked perfectly and all the flavors were super yummy. Nothing band about any of it. The service was good and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. If it was open to the public, I would definitely be back. We went during food week and that is open to the public. I look forward to next year.

A incredibly delicious dinner in the dining room at the Club at Rancharrah. We started off Beef Tartare and a family Caesar salad. The family ordered lamb shank, Carbonara, Wagyu steak, sablefish and I had short rib pasta. Everybody was VERY happy with the delicious dishes, unique and varied menu and beautiful holiday decor! Our server was attentive and customized drinks and expanded dessert to accommodate our group of five; Julia was a delight! Overall, we had a 5 star experience at this restaurant (our only minor criticism was a pretty basic wine list, but we found acceptable wines by the glass!) If you have the chance to experience, you must go- you won't be sorry!

Orders: Rancharrah Wood Fired Burger | Cobb Salad | Spicy Basil Smash [without the spice!] | The Pearadox | Cinnamon Mule Incredible restaurant featuring one of the best, juiciest burgers in town and a totally abundant, gorgeously assembled Cobb Salad! Beautiful interiors both inside the bar area and the actual dining room where you can see the stunning from-scratch kitchen at work, as well as attend cooking classes. Worth noting that this restaurant is available to Rancharrah members only... so sorry for any heartbreak this may cause. Such a beautiful club! Loved our server Shane!

The menu for Reno's food week was great! $48 for the entire meal entrée appetizer included tip! Great value!

Such an amazing experience tonight! It was our 32nd year anniversary so I thought it was worth the splurge. Got lucky enough to find out from one of my clients that this week was Reno food week so people could get in without actually being members of the club. Hubs and I decided to go see what it was like how the other half lived! Ha ha. They had a special menu for us peons that was amazing. We had wontons shrimp and pork. That were delicious, Hubby had Wagyu steak with a delicious gravy on it and I had the snapper that was absolutely delicious with crispy edges! The dessert was OK funnel cake is not my favorite and I would've loved it if they would've had a choice between chocolate and strawberry, but they did not. But then again we are not paying for the membership so we were the Riff Raff they tolerate for this week!

The artichoke appetizer was delicious and so were the chips.

We were invited by our friends (who are Rancharrah resident members) as guests to Nineteen 57 and we had the most wonderful dining experience. It's a private restaurant that's not open to non-members. It's is an absolutely beautiful restaurant inside the Rancharrah mansion. It's beautifully appointed and welcoming. For dinner everyone ordered different dishes: the steak tartare appetizer, an artichoke appetizer, Caesar salad, wagyu skirt steak, chorizo pizza, carrot gnocchi, linguine and clams. And I ordered the heritage chicken entree. I loved my roasted and grilled chicken with its delicious chicken jus and roasted potatoes. The flavors were excellent and the preparation was delightful. Everyone loved their food! The steak tartare was the best I've ever tasted! Our server Kyle was excellent, attentive professional and very knowledgeable. It was a gorgeous Reno night and dining on the patio was the best. Can't wait to be invited again someday, to try more items on the menu!

For non residents, Food and Drink Week or a an invite from a member are the only options for dining here. It's the private restaurant inside The Club at Rancharrah. So for Food and Drink Week (and his birthday) fellow Yelper Robert S made reservations for us. I was a little early, so I thought I would grab a drink in the bar. On a Thirsty Thursday around 5 pm it is quite loud in there. I asked the bartender if there was a special cocktail for Food and Drink. She didn't know what it was but offered to make anything I wanted. But there no no where to sit and it was just too loud. I went back to the lobby area. The restaurant seating is divided into three area and a patio. We sat next to the open kitchen and watched the pizza oven use throughout the evening. The guys started with cocktails and I chose a Malbec. We were a bit all over the place for ordering- the girls from the Food and Drink pre fixe menu, the guys from the regular menu. Chicken liver pâté had great flavor and very light and smooth, almost a mousse. The Wild Game Tasting was very good. Venison and boar sausages, and elk bratwurst, all delicious. The warm mushroom salad was very large and looked devine. The empanadas had a light flaky crust and were piping hot. The strawberry salad was a very interesting dish. Perfect for the warm weather, but eaten with a spoon, it was more like a large chunk soup. Delicious. Everyone commented on how incredibly tender the wagyu skirt steak was. The smoked California sturgeon was accompanied by amazing morel mushrooms. The wood grilled Colorado lamb t bone was a lot of food. I took and entire chop on for lunch. Great flavor and I chose medium rare. The creamy lemon farrotto was my favorite side. Texturally and flavorful, it was perfection. The pacific rockfish and gnocchi had a great presentation- the preserved lemon broth was poured over the plate at the table. Then there was dessert, we almost tried everything. The strawberry shortcake was dense with bright fresh berries. The donuts and chocolate, probably not my favorite. We dipped the holes in the chocolate. I thought it could have been a little thicker. And finally the iced milk and cookies. Three different fresh baked cookies and iced milk that was shaken and poured at the table. Which then asked the question- why does James Bond order shaken martinis ? It was nice not to be rushed, we took three hours for dinner. They seemed well staffed and service was good. I look forward to them being on the 2024 Food and Drink Week list.I

Enjoyed the beet salad, steak, house salad, oysters, pasta and a sandwich! Not all for me... family dinner. Server Alex is great and Josh checked in consistently to make sure the meal was superb. Not a lot of tables in the club so creates a more intimate setting.

It really does not taste anything like an "old fashioned" but it's very good and my usual go-to. Ambiance is cool. Has a very Edgar Alan Poe vibe mixed with an alchemist/speakeasy. My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

We all LOVED our drinks mine was like a boozy (honestly was there even booze in it lol) milkshake and I tried my friends, one was a special holiday drink "sugar plum fairy" which was sweeter and yummy and other friend got a baileys based martini also very yummy. It's supposed to be like the old school fireplace lounges the Peppermill restaurants used to have. I don't think there's any Peppermill restaurants around anymore, just this casino. My friend told me all locals get 20% off at any of the restaurants, so that's kinds cool. Inside this lounge, it's really on the dark side and there's lots of soft puffy couches and love seats. If you wanted a dark booth to make out in, this is the place! There's nice seating around the gas fireplace if you want, but those seats go fast on busy nights. I thought the music was kinda loud, but that might just be me. I don't think there's much food served in here, just fancy drinks before the making out starts! They have there monster big bowl drinks to share like a Scorpion, I think full of rum and other stuff. That thing's gonna be a headache in the morning! It was fun staying for a round of drinks, we got one of the darker booths ... you know for making out! Check it out, if you can find the lounge!
