I was invited to a birthday party here they do catering. And set up a nice room we had hamburgers, chicken nuggets and really good french fries. it was very very well done the bar as well. Attended the people that work. There are very good and what they do. The patio is perfect for a nice non-windy day so I will go back there to try their breakfast menu and they have really good coffee.

I love the Jesse, the patio is so spacious and is a great spot to soak up some sun with some friends. I also love coming to the Jesse for salsa nights and hope they continue to do those! I actually really like the updated menu to Mediterranean as I always found the tacos to be too expensive. The feta fries are a must really crispy and the zaatar seasoning is great. We got the beef kebab platter the pitas were yummy, tangy red onion, the beef was a little tough though too chewy but the veggies were amazing and everything looked great on the platter altogether. My passionfruit margarita was delicious and well balanced. The drinks still hit and I'm excited about the mediterranean/middle eastern flair. If only they had khachapuri on the menu then my day would really be made!

Dinner on a Friday night did not disappoint. We were surprised to see lots of open seating. We enjoyed dolmas, Chicken sis Kebab and a Mediterranean Pizza along with a glass of wine. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Mediterranean menu. The bar area is visually pleasing. Piped music was at the right decibel and provided a good vibe. There is an outdoor patio with plenty of seating that would be enjoyable during nice weather. There is limited parking in their lot and street parking and bowling stadium parking is near. Happy we gave it a try.

The Jesse is my favorite place in town! The food is amazing, and we tried almost all of the tapas, and every single one is delicious. Everything tastes fresh! It's honestly hard to choose a favorite because they are all so good. And you definitely need to try the basil cocktail, "Aegean Garden" - it is incredibly delicious and one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time! A wonderful place for great food, drinks, and atmosphere, I will definitely be back!

The Jesse is a boutique hotel and bar (with Mediterranean bites), just three blocks off of the main drag (Virginia Street) in downtown Reno. I visited the bar and beautiful outdoor patio (not the hotel) in late August, with the one-and-only Michael T. I believe that the concept was previously Mexican (named Estella), and the rebrand to Mediterranean is new. We visited on a surprisingly quiet, spectacularly beautiful summer Tuesday night. We enjoyed cocktails and a sampling of their newer Mediterranean menu (hummus, falafel, salad, and more!). The drink menu was inspired and the cocktails cooled us down on a warm evening. The bites were made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. We lounged outside on the pretty, enclosed patio. We were shocked that it wasn't busier. If you live in Reno, you should check them out. I'll defintely be back the next time I'm in town. And, helpful to know: they have a private parking lot adjacent to their building, so no need to battle downtown parking. Cheers!

Bar review. Might not be located in the best area of town but The Jesse offers a fine counterpoint to the flashiness of nearby casino bars. - quiet - excellent cocktails and margaritas - small Mediterranean menu

We came to this place on a Sunday evening for my friend bday. I appreciated it being open on a Sunday evening, as many other places weren't. There were only one other couple there, but they had a dj going, which was interesting. He did a fine job, but it made it really loud to try and talk to my friend. Also, this place is modern and beautiful inside. We appreciated the private parking lot, as parking on the street seemed sketchy at best. I felt very entitled sitting lit up in the window eating and listening to music and watching so many homeless people walk by. It always tares up my heart. We were slightly confused becuase we had heard you could order tacos from this place, but that's the place next door that closed. This place only does Greek inspired food. Service was good. We asked for extra pita bread and tzatziki. Their pita bread is so superior to any other I've had. They FRY it. Yes FRY it! My friend is big on Greek food and chose this place. I'm just not big on Greek food in general. The yogurt chicken kabob was charred pretty good but had little flavor. The chick pea meatball things were hard on the outside. It was strange to me. They did give us coupons to come back to free coffee. And their outdoor area is adorable. We will be back just for that for sure.

Cute little place on 4th street by the ballpark. Great variety of cocktails and small plates complete with DJ in a cutely renovated old hotel building. Definitely worth checking out!

Went here with the girls to enjoy the outdoor seating. It's big and very cute with couches and string lights. The passionfruit margarita was really tasty. Our server was nice and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our order. The food was perfect for sharing a few different things. We got the buffalo wings with we're pretty standard. The Za'atar fries were bomb! We also shared the SIS Kebap beef plate. The meat was cooked to perfection and really good. I want to come back and try the smash burger. That was our server's favorite dish. Great spot and the inside is gorgeous.

The Jesse hosted a party 20 professionals visiting Reno, and provided great food, fare and fun. The chef and staff were perfect, and super accommodating and easy to coordinate. We didn't get to see a lot while we were in town but if you have time, this place is worth the visit.

3/7/2025: The Jesse Hotel, Reno NV--Double Queen Suite.

3/7/2025: The Jesse Hotel, Reno NV--Renault Double Queen Suite. 1. Downside: Historical Building doesn't have an elevator for ADA Guests; no hotel accommodations located on first floor/street level. 2. Restaurant Bar: Millenials' local hangout; bar is packed! 3. Cuisine: TAPAS--$8.00 to $12.00 for petite servings. A. Wait time: Fifteen minutes for First-Born Daughter receiving her three Tapas. B. Ten minutes later, I was wondering where is the steak and potatoes and when will it be served???? Never arrived . . . WTH~Male Waitstaff never annotated the steak and potatoes on the Restaurant Bill! C. First-Born Daughter had to hail another Male Waitstaff ordering the steak and potatoes, i.e., waited another ten minutes receiving the steak and potatoes: Egregiously disappointed not receiving the steak and potatoes tostada when First-Born Daughter received her three Tapas, the steak and potatoes' portion was shocking minuscule for a "tostada," and the steak and potatoes' presentation was obviously lacking--the steak and potatoes was plopped in the center on a black oval plate, less than a dollop of green chile verde salsa and two slivers of onion adjacent to the steak and potatoes! D. Chocolate Pie was served in a mini-flan ceramic dish; serving was just a miniscule as the steak and potatoes Tapas, I took a mini-spoonful, turned my nose up--ANNI MOGO, shoved the mini-flan ceramic dish to my First-Born Daughter who ate a couple of bites which she didn't finish: Strangely odd, the pie ingredients had chili mixed into the chocolate . . . Weird flavor which tasted rudely off-putting . . . AUGH~My lips were burning from eating the chocolate pie . . . WTH!!!! 4. Pear Cactus Margaritas: GET BOMBED FAST and slither underneath the table! Stay the night in the hotel upstairs, i.e., the inability driving is serious--DO NOT DRIVE! 5. Nice hotel accommodations; however, sirens woke me up several times during the night, i.e., I did not enjoy a peaceful sleep. 6. Jesse Hotel: Reminiscent to the Mount View Hotel, Calistoga CA sans swimming pool and spa. Building has ADA parking and a dozen parking spaces. 7. Coffee Bar ROCKS~Coffee Owner owns three coffee shops in Reno, Nevada.

Menu and cocktail for the celebration

We love this spot! Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Our most recent visit was for my birthday dinner. Arranging the night with management was easy and seamless! They were able to accommodate to our requests and even created a printed out menu for the dinner. A cocktail was even created and named after me to celebrate the night!

It was a short wait of about 15 minutes before they were able to give us our room info. We booked a larger room with a king bed so our son could have a bit more room to roam. Room was clean, bed was comfy. AC was easy to control. It did have a microwave and mini fridge. Emphasis on the mini for the fridge. Pool was semi heated. The outside temp was in the 60s so the water felt about room temp. Whirlpool was nice and warm. The fitness center has the basic weights and cardio machines. Laundry facilities only had 1 washer and dryer. We had dinner at the bistro located in the lobby area. Basic foods of salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Didn't know they had a kids menu until we had placed our order and one of the workers (the one who didn't assist us) asked the family behind us if they wanted a kids menu. The bistro is only open during certain hours (breakfast and diner mainly. Grab and go snacks and some travel items available at the "market" next to reception. This place is so cool and not cool at the same time…read more.. Here's the bad stuff... 1. Super construction going on and the parking lots are a mess, you don't know to go right or left and I got lost finding entrances even after 3 days.really dirty too. 2. The dirt doesn't stop there. Our first room we were given was so smokey I mean burning eyes smokey. There was a box fan sitting outside the room so I think they tried to air it out but it was like someone burned a cigar in there and just closed the door. 3. After going thru a room swap we were given another room. Fine but there was a dirty rag left in the bathroom counter with hairs all over it. Not a huge deal but still, come on right? 4. The late check out. Went to the front desk night before to make sure late check out was ok since we were at an event that morning. No problem they said you got until 4 with an additional fee. Great right? Nope since our room was a room that was attached to a suite they needed us out before that. Just come on again! 5. The service is just rude everywhere. I mean everyone you encounter! The Rim restaurant guy host in a suit..., I'm convinced was high as a kite. Don't believe me, go there and talk to him, holy! The security desk, rude and unhelpful. Anyone you call on the phone from the room, rude. I'm not expecting Disney customer service, but come on man! Someone teach these guys some customer service skills. So the good.... The resort is really cool. Bowling video games, nice casino, everything to spend a fun weekend. We may even come back just to do the pool and stuff to do there. To wrap it up... Lower your expectations. Your not going to get the cleanest room. Most certainly you will be treated rudely. It's a place that could be so epic but falls short due to just taking short cuts in the customer service, organization and just plain care about your whole experience factor. P.S. you will receive at least 5 text messages telling you about how great their spa is.

I can't speak to the rooms on the lower price range, but what I got, was absolutely amazing…read more I was here on Cinco de Mayo, but because it was a Tuesday, the rates were very reasonable. I have "status", so I was offered an upgrade to a spa suite, for a very reasonable price. The price range, of course depends on what day of the week it is, as well if there are any events going on, but even at full price, that spa suite is well worth the splurge. I was checked in by Claudia, and she was very friendly and helpful. My room was in the tower that is connected to the main casino. I was on the fifth floor. The view during the daytime wasn't much, but at night time and sunrise, it was very pretty. I walked into the room, and I couldn't believe it! I had actually gotten a two room suite it was a beautiful suite. The living room had 2 very comfortable couches. One of them had a hide-a- bed in it, or you could just sleep across the couch. it had a mini bar that had a Keurig on it, there were two TVs, with a good picture and lots of channels, as well as the movies for rent, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, and there were also two bathrooms. The bathroom attached to the living room does not have a tub or shower. There was also a huge closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave. The bed was a bit firm for my personal taste, but I still got an OK nights sleep. I do realize that everybody's taste is different. I had to laugh when I saw the Jacuzzi tub. It was heart shaped. That tells me that this "spa suite" doubles as the honeymoon/romantic getaway suite. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing! It filled up quick, and it was so absolutely relaxing. My body was just melting away. I sat in that thing for almost a half hour, and when I got out, I went to sleep very quick. My only regret, is that I didn't have a special someone to share it with. (for those of you who have met me, I apologize for putting that image into your brain. Please, I beg of you, let it go... LET IT GO...... :) Circus Circus is a nice property, like the El Dorado and Silver Legacy, it is a Caesars property. The casino is nice, they have a midway with lots of fun games for the kids, and also live circus acts. There is plenty to do. You can walk between all three properties without ever going outside, and there is plenty of gaming, bars with different themes, and lots of restaurants throughout all three properties ...The food court is just OK. I didn't care for the habit burger place, but I thought that the pizza place was amazing. (see separate reviews.) Just a great stay. Thanks!

In that time, unrelated, we also had housekeeping knocking within 20 minutes of us paying for early entry, asking if items were left behind. When we called to ask for help and even if our room was clean (because why would items be left behind if the room was clean?), the lady at guest services was surly and rude. We were told we would have to pack up and come move rooms and would be charged a difference in fee. When asked how they can make it right, she told me, "I can either send engineering to fix the tub or you can pay to move rooms." Super unprofessional.
