Been coming here for years and each time I venture through, it never disappoints. Being able to try different types of beer is what makes this place special! I especially like how they sometimes switch out beers and bring in new flavors from different parts of the country. The service is always great and it's fun to talk to the bartenders. They're always friendly and love to give a recommendation, or two, on what to try. The bar atmosphere is always relaxing, especially if you want to just go grab a beer. Additionally, I love how they allow well behaved dogs in the bar, which makes it perfect for me because it's hard to leave my dog home alone. I highly recommend it and it's definitely worth a stop if you love beer. Cheers!

Pinon is a go-to spot for sure! They have 30+ taps, mostly beer, but they typically have a couple of ciders and a wine on tap. In addition, they have an extensive bottle/can selection. They don't serve any liquor, but you can pop in next door for a shot or a mixed drink if desired. They also don't serve food, but they encourage byof! A couple options are really close and convenient (tacos, pizza, wings. The beertenders are cool and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is inviting, and the midtown location is great!

I already loved Pinon before, but now I love them even more! My dog and I share a birthday, so of course I wanted to have a get together with some friends at a dog friendly place. Pinon seemed like the perfect spot! We called ahead the week prior to make sure they didn't have any events (like trivia) scheduled for the Monday night that we were planning to come. They told us to come on in and asked for our names, then said they'd see us on Monday. Fast forward to Monday, my husband got a phone call from one of the employees asking if we were still planning to come. We appreciated the check-in! We were surprised to show up and see two of their large high top tables reserved with our names on them! Such a kind gesture. They told us we could bring food as long as we were there drinking beer, so it was a fun cake + beer party! We had about 20 people and 4 dogs (including a Great Dane). Places say they are dog friendly then sometimes frown upon bigger dogs. All our dogs are well-behaved, so they were loved by the staff as well as the other customers at Pinon! It was nice feeling like they were so welcomed there. My friend also brought her baby and he was welcome there too! We brought some bundtini cupcakes, pupcakes for the dogs, and drank plenty of beer. Leara was AMAZING and such a thoughtful person to be taking care of us that night!! She brought over water bowls for the dogs, told us how impressed she was at their good behavior, checked on us often, took a big group picture of all of us (including a great selfie), and even wished me a happy birthday by doing an Underberg shot together! She was super fun, very considerate, and made us feel right at home. We felt like Pinon went above and beyond for our event despite not having an official event fee for something like this. We made sure to show our appreciation by purchasing lots of beer, cleaning up after ourselves, and tipping well! I will never forget this great birthday celebration and owe a big thanks to the Pinon staff for being the best hosts!

Stopped at Noble Pie for wings and fries (always great) and decided to eat in at Pinion and have some drinks. The bartender was friendly and very helpful; she had on a smile the whole time and made the experience very welcoming. Lovely to be able to purchase food from next door and enjoy drinks in their establishment. Will be back for sure!

Solid place with outside heating and tons of beer selections both can and craft. Can bring in other food besides the pizza next door. Our favorite is the taco truck behind Death and Taxes in the alley. Good place to meet lots of people. A matrix themed 30th birthday even rolled in!

Good vibes, good beer selection. Lots of dogs to pet too! Apparently I need 85 characters to post a review so here's some more characters for ya.

This is a great place to stop while shopping in Midtown. They have a nice selection of beers on tap and a huge selection of bottled beverages. Noble is next door and shares a patio space so there are a lot of seating options. They have flights available which are a great way to try new beers.

First time checking this bar out. It has a really nice interior and nice outdoor seating as well. There were feb people sitting back at the bar too which was nice to see. The bartender was sweet and friendly, she even let me have a taster of a new Hazy before I got a taster as part of a flight. They have a really large and diverse selection of beer, apparently good beers too, because I enjoyed all four 5oz tasters and even loved a couple of them! It's right next door to Noble Pie, so you can even go by and grab a pie and bring it back like my cousin did. I will definitely hit this place up again.

The best selection of craft beers ... we never leave empty handed. We enjoy the Midtown vibe and we always order pizza from Noble pie next door to pair with our beers!

I stopped in for the first time for a friend's birthday. This was the first stop on a short bar crawl. I wasn't drinking on this occasion but I did check out the menu and took a look around while socializing. The building itself is large but the bar is small. It was taking quite awhile to get drinks. It was a Saturday afternoon but it seemed like there was just one bartender. I jumped in line at one point to order an NA option and it just took too long so I went to sit with my group sans drink. The main reason for the 3-stars is the quality of the place itself. This place is large and good for big groups but it's also really run down. Many of the bar games are out of date or not working properly. The furniture could use a refresh and overall things just look a bit dingy. Maybe that's what they are going for here? And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt.
