Great service, cold beer, nice people, football on the TV. Great place to have a good hangout with your friends.

Had a great time this afternoon. Rain was coming and was looking for a place to hang out until the rain stopped. Comfortable local bar. Friendly staff. Enjoyed my time gambling and drinking.

This venerable business has been here since the late 1940's and is largely unchanged. Once called Lucky Pete's, this bar has been owned by Rodeo supporter , organizer and legend Mike Lucke. In the late 1970's this bar drew a rough crowd, from iron workers fisticuffs to hard edged blue bollar bores, the 1980's brought more of a white powder crowd and an influx of influential Reno businessmen. Today, it is a classic locals bars with patrons who have been coming here for 30 plus years. Its friendly. fun, sports centric and two old pool tables that have seen some of the best shooters in town. Terrific place!

    Yay day drinking

I enjoy the people, the bartenders, the ambience, the music, the atmosphere, the enclosed patio, the Sunday dinners & I made lifelong friends... Enjoy going here very much ... I feel safe, I feel welcome, I feel appreciated... This is definitely one of my favorite bars in reno/sparks.

It's a true dive bar in the best possible way -- cheap drinks, free pool, good people, hot girls, hot guys, and absolutely zero pretentiousness. The fact that it's open 24/7 is a huge bonus, and being able to smoke inside just adds to that classic dive-bar atmosphere. You never really know what kind of night you're going to have here, but you know it's going to be entertaining. One of my favorite things is Family Day on Sundays. They provide FREE food for everyone, which is something you just don't see anymore. It really gives the place a sense of community that makes it stand out. If you're looking for a fancy cocktail lounge, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want a real bar with character, good vibes, pool, interesting people, and a place where you can walk in at literally any hour -- this is it. Been coming for years and I'll keep coming back.

Since it was early most places were pretty dead until we got here. We had been across the street when my mom noticed this place and wanted to give it a try. It was the first fully crowded bar we had come upon. We shuffled our way through the crowd and decided on a table in the very back. As we were making our way toward the table, a bartender made eye contact with me and let me know she'd be right over to take our order. I thought that was pretty amazing since normally you have to try and order at an already overcrowded bar. A few moments later there she was to take orders. Two of us got wine and the other two got lemon drops which I know is out of place for an Irish pub but we ended up absolutely loving our choices. My mom also asked for a straw for our water and she returned and handed it to her in a napkin which gained major points because I cannot stand when I'm handed a straw with bare hands. They were also playing live music which really the crowd engaged. Definitely a fun spot! Things to note: there is a very small private parking lot.

Nice whiskey selection, but I have a show to watch at GSR later today and did not want to fall asleep, lol. Atmosphere - Small local pub. Friendly and welcoming. Small stage with live bands, see picture or website. Small parking lot, don't even bother, plenty of street parking. Open 5 days a week from 4pm to close. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Service - 6 stars. They welcomed our team. Approved us bringing in food (from Pizza Plus) for our event. The waitress and the bar service were perfect. Came and got our drink orders often. Price - HH $5 beers. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2007. Our team has been regular customers since??? So I guess we will be coming here more often.

The service is excellent and the whole place has a warm, family-owned feel that makes you feel welcome right away. It's cozy with indoor and bar seating, plus a great patio for outdoor dining. The food is fantastic, great portions. Their brunch menu is available weekends from 8am-1pm and weekdays from 10am-11:30am. It's definitely worth going on the weekend, just be prepared for busy mornings. We went around 11:30am and were seated right away. If you're a Benedict fan, this is your place. Their French Benedict, served on French toast, is unique and so good. The omelets are delicious, and the housemade corned beef hash is a must-try. Steak and eggs, amazing! The home-fries could be a little more crispier, but still hits the spot. They also serve really great burgers that are huge, along with some of the best French fries around. The bacon cheeseburger is delicious. And don't skip the Bloody Maria, they're excellent! Highly recommend this spot. Every visit has been a great experience.

A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey!
