First time stopping by in quite a while. It is World Cup season, and I had hoped that Ole Bridge still had some of the magic I remember. And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. Small, yes, but in that casual, intimate, easy-going way that has a lot of charm. Lots of hard-wood finishes, barstools, and TVs to catch what's on. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers! read more

Ole Bridge has become a staple of the Riverwalk bar scene. Sadly this is my first review on Yelp, but I've been coming here for well over 10 years. Great outdoor patio area with some picnic tables, and they always have a good selection of beers on draft. No shuffle board any longer but there is a foosball table now. The bartender is always quick to serve and because they don't serve food the service overall is quick and easy. Definitely recommend stopping by for a drink if you are in the area! read more

I like this place! Ole Bridge has been around for quite some time and after a small handful of visits here I can say that it's a pretty fun spot. They have indoor and outdoor seating here as well as a fairly new foosball table. They also have single golf arcade cabinet if you're into that. I enjoy the selection of canned and bottled beverages here, including some NA options. They also make great cocktails and have plenty of choices for liquor. The vibe here is great with fun and eclectic decor. Most recently, a whole bagpipe group showed up and played a spontaneous show! We came here Saturday afternoon after dinner, and it was so much fun. This bar is simple and has everything you need for a good time. Drink specials, beers on tap, canned beverages, darts, foosball, etc. The bartender there is always so nice anytime I see her. They have such awesome outdoor seating in the summertime with picnic benches overlooking the river. read more

My favorite place to go while in Reno Wild strawberry is my favorite drink and it's always made to perfection no matter who the bartender is. The only downside is there is only one bartender so if it gets busy you gotta wait just a little to get a refill. One of the coolest places to hang out by the river. I come to visit Ole Bridge each time I come to Reno. The drinks are fiiiiire and all of the staff is so freaking friendly. It's like they're all your friends. Warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at hike while sipping on your favorite beverage. Better yet, have them whip you whip something new. When the weather allows, I like to sit outside and watch the world go by - and down the Truckee River. Good outdoor seating in Reno. Stopped in for a beer or two around 9/10pm and it was one of the only places still open. It was slightly crowded and you can see all of the beers on tap via a TV screen menu. There was only one bar tender but he was on it and got to everyone pretty quickly. Only negative were the beer prices, overpriced and $8/$9 but that seems to be the norm at a couple places around here. I'm not cheap but I'm not down to pay barrell aged stout prices for a pilsner. read more

Ole Bridge Pub sits in between Campo and Reef Sushi and Sake. All three have a wonderful view of the river. The weather this evening (6/5/18), was beautiful. As the sun set it was cool but not chilly at all. The ambiance was great with the overhanging lights and casual atmosphere. We enjoyed a round of drinks which consisted of Texas Tea and a Greyhound. With the river, beautiful atmosphere, and good company, Ole Bridge is a wonderful bar/pub to stop by during the summer. read more

This pub is located along side of the river and it was a perfect stop on our tour around Reno. It's really cute, a place where locals and tourists can hangout out. They have some really unique, local beers and some creative cocktails as well. There's something for everyone here! I really want to try the chai martini on the menu but I guess they haven't been serving that for a while now, so I ordered the blueberry tickle instead. It was really good, your typical sugary, alcoholic drink. The beers here are great, my friends loved the ones they ordered. The Moscow Mule is really good! It was probably my favorite drink out of all the ones we ordered. read more

I was gonna start this review by writing "I stumbled upon this cool place..." but it turned out I stumbled a bit AFTER I found the Ole Bridge Pub. Looking for a cold one while wandering the Truckee River Trail, I spotted OBP and thought I'd give it a try. I liked the dark paneling, dim lighting and feel of the place immediately - seemed like it had been there for years (not sure how long, but it's in a newish building, so probably not all that old.) Loved the beer selection on tap...some really unusual selections. In fact, I had some Lagunitas that I'd never heard of and can't even think of the name, but it was good, real GOOD! The bartender who was working on Friday was really good at multitasking and handling a decent volume of patrons, the gal on Sunday struggled a bit (I waited and waited a few times...longer than I'd like.) In general, bartenders were better-than-average. On Sunday, I sat outside at the picnic tables - not a great experience. Why you ask? Well, I couldn't figure out what the putrid kitchen smell was until I looked up and saw the sushi restaurant kitchen exhaust fan blasting down on Ole Bridge's outdoor seating area. Ughh...I was getting covered in tempura grease exhaust! Also, the pony-tailed d-bag sitting next to me at the picnic table was working his scammer magic on a beat-down Melissa Gilbert look-alike, getting her drunk and talking big game. I found it quite annoying and finally had to pick up and leave. Despite the scumbag dirtball at the picnic table and the jet-engine tempura grease blast, I liked the Ole Bridge Pub. It's a good bar to visit when you're at a loss of places to visit. My girlfriend and I were out on a hot mid-summer night and not a bar in sight had commotion except the good Ole Bridge. Not feeling like beer or other libations, we decided on Ferrari Carano Fumé Blanc by the bottle. $30! What?! Mind you I work at a wine bar and can purchase this bottle for $7. I cringed but sucked it up. Service was a little off-putting and environment is can be cold. All in all, the only times I have visited Ole Bridge is after a night of bar hopping or not knowing where else to go. It's A-OK in my book. read more

I just wasn't a fan of the bartender and the way she treated us (not locals) versus her other patrons. She was also weird about the music and kept changing it mid song and then bragging about her music choices. She also blatantly ignored a woman who came in and tried to ask her a question. No idea what the question was, since eventually the woman just left. Maybe it's more fun when it's busy, but I think you can tell a lot about an establishment by how the employees act when it's slow. A good bar to catch up with friends. Ole Bridge (not Old Bridge as I thought it was when I first heard about it) has a great location and a nice array of cocktail choices. I've been here twice and both times I sat in their outdoor seating, which is my suggestion to anyone visiting, as long as it is warm enough. The inside is fairly small and can get crowded easily if you go on a poppin' night. Drinks: B+ The drinks are fairly priced, especially because they tend to make them strong (that can be good or bad). For cocktails, I've tried the Wild Strawberry and a White Russian. Both were good. The Wild Strawberry was really good. I strongly recommend it to anyone that likes fruity, sweet drinks. Also, because of this pub, I tried Rekorderling Cider for the first time, which is one of the better ones I've had. I also don't see this brand as an option at bars that often so it's nice Ole Bridge carries it. (Note- I don't go out to bars that often so I apologize if my previous sentence is inaccurate.) Atmosphere:B+ As for the atmosphere, the bartenders are nice and the music blends fine in the background, though it is loud, even if you're outside. I love that they have a water jug readily available so you don't have to wait for it by asking the bartenders to get you one. The bathrooms are single stall, which is nice. I'm not super happy with my experience at Ole Bridge today. I paid for a ticket for the mimosa crawl and Ole Bridge was on the email serving "$6 mimosas". Imagine my surprise when I asked the bartender how much and she says "we are charging $6.50". And I said we are part of the crawl and it says $6 on the website". Bartender replies "we are charging $6.50". I say, "Ok, what's my bill" she says $6.50x4". Now, I can do the math but this is her job. She walks away and comes back for $26. My MAIN problem is as a business don't participate in an event and then not charge the advertised price. And on top of that be extremely rude to me. I am local and love this bar. But I am not impressed with what happened! read more

I write this as someone who visits Reno for one-nighters to unwind and do something different coming up from SF. If you are up in Reno and want a classy/chill place to have some beers then this is your spot. It's right by all the Downtown Casinos, and it is nestled on the Truckee River. (Check out my picture of the gorgeous Truckee River and their Patio Area.) It's a good space to come and stop in when your looking for a spot to try - good views of the TV's if you're there for sports. I came about a half hour before the kickoff of the Big Game. I stayed through the Halftime Show because they had a good range of local beers and some cool, low-key local folks hanging out. They have an interesting, if somewhat limited Tap selection, but they also have an extensive range of bottles. This is a solid spot in Reno if you want to try some new stuff. The bartender was willing to provide some tips and let me sample things before ordering. Beers were in the $6-8 range for Taps, but they have a $2-off Happy Hour, and it was Happy Hour for the game. Overall: Good Service. Good Prices. The Cocktail Menu also looks legit. They have no food. But!, they DO have a Shotski, which was my first time seeing that since living in Colorado. read more

I always have a wonderful time at ole bridge. Especially when Jen is working but today not only was it uncomfortable it was just so upsetting. We are regulars at the pub and I've been going on Sundays for recently and there's a new bartender that I've been interacting with. She seemed nice nothing to crazy but today she straight up went all hail hitler racist on us. Who says "You and your kind. Mexican and Puerto Ricans" excuse me?
