Love this little gem of a dive bar. Been here several times. Hamms draft $3 All day every, everyday. $7 Four roses shot and PBR/HighLife/LoneStar/Montucky/Rainer. Great bartenders. Pool table, inside and outside seating. Must see.

The bartender was helpful and friendly. The crowd is super chill and the music is good. Cold beer and cheap shots. What more could you want in a bar?

Kids were away doing some sports functions. I ran into an old friend at the chapel and he talked me into coming over here. Actually quite a few people at the chapel showed up here. It's a nice bar, the music was good. Definitely lots of people roaming around and great for social time. It's been years since I've just been to a bar to talk and drink. It was definitely a lot of fun. People were buying drinks for everyone, shots, shots... And yes more shots. I actually had to sneak out after the third or fourth drink was bought for me as I don't think my wife would enjoy me happen to leave my vehicle, getting an Uber, because I was drunk... I ended up making it home by 3 AM. I know I'm not in college, but it felt just like the good old college days lol

A good bar. 40 Mile Saloon is one of the cheapest. In my opinion that's what counts the most. Good drinks. The recommendations are rum or whiskey. It's a pretty unassuming bar. It's located in the southern area of Midtown. There's not as much happening around here and therefore this bar is a lot quieter. Has only drinks. That's okay. You can find a few nearby places to eat before coming here to quench your thirst. Because it's a saloon, why not get something Western inspired. The best options are something with rum or whiskey. A typical cocktail is about $5 with the house liquor. That's cheaper than many of these fancy places. Best place to get cheap drinks. It has many different kinds of beer, domestic and import. The best drinks are the hard stuff though.

If you're looking for a cozy dive bar, look no further! Stopped in for an afternoon cocktail and was not disappointed. Good drinks, friendly staff, and a bar full of patrons laughing and conversing. And to top it off the prices and daily drink specials were pretty great!! It was nice to catch some ice hockey on the TV as well. Will definitely be visiting this place again.

Pool table and patio in a dive-esque ambiance All the character ,but with clean bathrooms and fantastic cocktails for $10! Also, great selection of beers. Sal, the bartender is awesomely personable and knows how to barkeep.

Sometimes we come in for the pool, sometimes we come for a quick gamble and drink. Usually a great environment and great selection of drinks.

40 mile is a great spot to go have a drink! I'm a beer guy and am always surprised by their rotating cans they offer. Outdoor seating is always a nice option when the weather is nice and where I prefer to sit! Service is consisted and always easy to grab a drink. Regular bar prices but beer/shot deal is always nice!

And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. Small, yes, but in that casual, intimate, easy-going way that has a lot of charm. Lots of hard-wood finishes, barstools, and TVs to catch what's on. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers!
