Went by based yelp reviews. I'm visiting from out of town. Place was interesting and had a few people inside on a Monday afternoon. A few guys playing pool and a few at the bar. Was warmly welcomed by the bartender who helped me with a beer and told me if I wanted food outside at the food trucks. Beer was great...food was very good! Regular burger was outstanding. We were in Reno for St. Patrick's Day, visiting from Orange County CA, and Filthy McNasty's was on our list to visit, along with some other bars. All of them turned out to be pretty good; McNasty's, however, is the only one getting a written review from me. And that's because it was, in this drinker's estimation, the best. The owner was awesome. The staff was friendly and fun. The denizens were charismatic and approachable. The character of the place was spot-on; rough edges and sweetness in perfect balance.
