Came in at 3:00 pm, opening time. The owner or manager was still setting up chairs outside. Let me come inside and wait. Really nice divey type of bar. (And I say that as a good thing) There's a pool table and a large seating area. The front door area has a covered seating area which would be great for warmer months. The bar itself is huge and they stick just about every different liquor you could imagine. I'm looking forward to coming back again and spending more time.

We love the hideout ! Small, chill, vibey and simple. Came here Tuesday night for a date to play pool and have a drink. Bartender was awesome! I didn't get his name but he was really kind. They have beers on tap, lots of drink specials and sometimes food trucks are there parked outside. This is a great place to watch sports

Great place to hangout, especially for Dodger games. Rob and Tanner are super friendly bartenders. Very spirited and lively crowd at the Hideout.

Cute bar off the beaten path. Clean with good seating options. Bartender friendly and greeted on arrival. Margaritas were delicious, not sweet at all.

Quickly became one of my favorite bars in Reno! It's tucked away a bit off of Wells, and to me that's part of the appeal. The bartenders are great and they serve everything from drafts to cocktails to Underbergs. My only complaint is they don't really seem to rotate their drafts much. Sundays during Football season are busy with a fun, high energy. There is a pool table inside which I love. They have a small outdoor area with a cute window that connects you to the bar! As well as a cornhole set. It's just a fun, down-to-earth kinda place.

Drinks are all made with freshly squeezed ingredients. Bartender is absolutely friendly and amazing! Fun and friendly atmosphere!

Service When you walk into the bar, you're already greeted by the bartender, no matter the amount of people inside the bar. Quick service when you walk up to the bar and very nice/helpful! When you want to try a beer from the tap, he's always happy to do so! Excellent! Atmosphere The bar atmosphere is pretty chill and the best part about Hideout is the pool table and outdoor lounge area. Always playing classic rock music, which is awesome from my point of view. Definitely a great place to relax and have fun!

The perfect bar doesn't exi-- oh wait, it does, and it's been embarrassing every other bar in town ever since. The cocktails are next-level. The local beer selection is basically a public service. The "cheeky" shots are tiny, dangerous, and -- if you ask me -- 100% a wink to "txiki" in Basque which honestly makes me love them more. Rob's the kind of bartender who makes you wonder why you ever wasted your time drinking anywhere else.

More love for the Hideout! Popped in while walking home from work to have a margarita on a super hot Friday afternoon. It's such a laid back space! The bartenders are happy to chat or leave you be based on your own energy. Everyone there is just trying to be easy and I love that energy!!!

Was looking for a place to grab a drink when my friend said "hey have you heard of the hideout?". She'd heard about it from several people recently so we decided to check it out. While the outside isn't much to look at, the inside was very warm and inviting. Parking is minimal since there is construction across the street, but I got lucky :) Right away I could see there was a board on the far wall listing some drink specials. My friend and I opted for the $8 old fashioned. It did not disappoint! There were a few groups there as well, but plenty of seating still available. There is also a pool table for those so inclined to play :) Love this!! Will definitely be back for more!

Such a fun tucked away bar!! The atmosphere was great and alive, with plenty of seating, pools tables, and the basketball games on. The bartender did a great job - the gimlet was SO good - I'm such a sucker for a drink in a coup glass. And there was a super cute outdoor patio- definitely want to come back during warmer weather and check out the outside!

    Beautiful mahogany bar!!

Nice place to grab a beer and shoot some pool. Kinda smallish but cozy, nice outdoor seating area under the pergola. I did a lot of the woodworking in the bar so I wanted to check it out . Bartender was friendly, pleasant overall experience.

A former local spot with a whole new vibe and life breathed into it. This bar used to be a local favorite for a whole different genre and now it's had a facelift which puts its towards closer to a craft bar. They don't have a beverage gun here to sling out your favorite mixers. All of the mixers are pretty fresh coming from individual bottles. The bar is nice with seating for about a dozen people with the interior being inviting and cozy. They're just getting their new roots established but I think this place is gonna do some great things. They constantly have movies playing on the TVs (on mute with no subtitles). But it still adds some entertainment value to watch if you wanna just grab a beverage and zone out for a minute. The only major gripe is there is no jukebox and apparently the music is very heavily controlled which I think is kind of a weird move. The music isn't bad but it's certainly not a bar where you can go with a group of friends hoping to hear your favorite jams or set your own vibe if you're the only ones there.

It's supposed to be like the old school fireplace lounges the Peppermill restaurants used to have. I don't think there's any Peppermill restaurants around anymore, just this casino. My friend told me all locals get 20% off at any of the restaurants, so that's kinds cool. Inside this lounge, it's really on the dark side and there's lots of soft puffy couches and love seats. If you wanted a dark booth to make out in, this is the place! There's nice seating around the gas fireplace if you want, but those seats go fast on busy nights. I thought the music was kinda loud, but that might just be me. I don't think there's much food served in here, just fancy drinks before the making out starts! They have there monster big bowl drinks to share like a Scorpion, I think full of rum and other stuff. That thing's gonna be a headache in the morning! A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! Others in my group enjoyed working their way through the many light, dark, and sour beers on tap. 1864 offers a classic, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to get a cocktail. What a major local gem in Reno. It only took one visit for…read moreme to become a fan of this coffee shop/bar in Midtown. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. The decor, the entertainment, the products all struck a chord with me. On one side - a super cute pour over/loose leaf tea shop with some records for sale. On the other - a cute bar and lounge area equipped with a vinyl player (Bring one in on a Monday for them to play). You have some house pants, checkered floors, and cool vinyl covers all over the walls that make for some great & hip atmosphere and vibes. Their restrooms, though small, and clean and cool. Their pour overs are so flavorful, strong, and made with beans grounded on your visit. I love that they're flavored and sweetened in a way that allows the coffee to shine. If you're into sweeter drinks, ask for a bit more sweetner or add in a brown raw sugar packet yourself from the straw station. I hear their chocolate pour over is a hit. Matchas - prepared in a similar fashion. Slightly sweetned with subtle flavorings. I tried their carrot cake matcha today and really enjoyed the housemade syrup they used to flavor it with. I also love that they offer loose leaf teas. Their chai was nice, fragrant and great with a little sweetner and milk. Shelby over at the bar area was sooo patient with explaining their menu and suggested a isla bonita pineapple shrub drink for a non alcoholic option. Similar to their other drinks on the coffee side, it was tamed in sugar yet still fun and flavorful. I really enjoyed the tang from the apple cider and the spice from the tajin chili powder as a contrasting flavor. Double check their website for bar and coffee shop hours as they differ from one another. And follow them on Instagram for updates on seasonal specials & themed gatherings. A lot of cool local DJs spin here for special events and parties during the holidays. Tip: sit next to the pour over station next to the menu. It's so entertaining, especially with Sydney working the station (thanks so much for the chat and entertainment. Honestly one of the friendliest baristas I've ever met in Reno). Both bars are set up in a way that allows for meeting others and socializing. Check it out. It's a good time. Notes *Catch live jazz music on Wednesdays here for free. *free street & neighborhood parking *bagels & cream cheese available at the coffee shop *they have fun with their seasonal drink specials. I dig it.

She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!
