Love this classic Reno establishment! Great servers, good cocktails, in a cool retro 70s environment.

I love the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill in Las Vegas and this is almost an exact replica! The only differences were no bougainvillea hanging from the ceiling and the velour booths were a dove grey. Great cocktails and very friendly servers. There wasn't an espresso martini on the menu but one of the bartenders heard us talking about them and said, "I can make you one of those!" The fire/water conversation pit is under repair right now, but you have multiple tv screens with 90s music videos. I love this place! We also had the pomegranate cosmopolitan ("Pomepolitan") and both were tasty.

Fireside Lounge is located inside Peppermill Casino. Currently, the decor is tiki-themed. There are super-cozy booths and, of course, a fire-pit that you can sit and lounge around. I've had good to great cocktails. Prices are a bit higher than average but they have some fun drinks. The dim decor elevates the experience and makes it feel like you've been transported to a fancy, exclusive club. And the service is friendly and efficient.

I saw that there was a magical winter wonderland taking place at Fireside, this is my out of town families "spot" and so I was super excited to take this in. Wow, every turn and corner was covered with hanging ornaments and decor and the beautiful murals made it so enchanting. The beauty of being off on a Monday during the holidays and catching up with an old friend, this was the perfect cozy spot. They had a special holiday menu, but the one that stood out to me was the Holiday Spritz, this was truly one of the most flavorful Spritz that I have had, I took my time and enjoyed every sip. It was a Monday afternoon so service was attentive and even though we hung out for a couple of hours they were sweet with us. I really really wanted to go again but I'll keep this in my bookmark for next year in hops the pop up event returns!

Love this groovy bar tucked in the back of the Peppermill. Chocolate martinis are decadent and the service is always excellent!

Got right in fireside! Loved my Lemon drop for pre-birthday celebration! Cocktail waitress came right away when we got seated and our drinks were brought promptly! Great atmosphere love the fire by water!

Great ambiance and staff. Cold day? Sit by the fire, and enjoy a great drink and some soon music on the screens right in front of you. Options of sitting away from from the fire..and the drinks are absolutely well made. Make sure to try the scorpion with some gummy worms in the end. Sweet and sour and very delicious. Huge cup that you get to take home and the best part, you can enjoy that big drink with your +1 or enjoy it by yourself.

This once was a more "secretive" and sexy spot for a cocktail, now it feels a bit like an over shared secret that lost it's ambiance. We love the fire pit, set in a pool of water. It's fun to sit by, and truly makes the bar. It's incredibly hot, so wear layers. I was very happy to be wearing a tank top in January. The cocktails are overpriced, but the cocktail menu is unique and enjoyable if you have a sweet tooth (I don't, but this is a fun spot to bring my sugar loving husband to). Our service was attentive and friendly.

Came in last night after a wonderful dinner. Wanted to have a drink and chill by the music video screens, cozy couches and glow of the fire. It was quiet except for some rambunctious gent at the bar. This is not a cheap place for a drink. I swear they are getting more and more expensive. The mudslide was $18. The locals card helped a bit. Server was chill. She forgot a club soda but brought it soon after the reminder and kindly didn't charge.

I've only been coming here on occasion, but I'd still recommend this place. The specialty drinks are pretty good but a little pricey. They don't serve food here, but most bars don't anyway. I've never had a problem with the service. Empty glasses have never stayed in the tables for very long, and the drinks are brought out pretty quickly depending on how busy it is. The line itself has a unique feature; the indoor fire "pit." It's located at one end of the bar and is gas powered. There are tvs located around the bar that play music videos while the tvs behind the bar play sports. The booths are very large can usually accommodate six people.

Bartender Troy rules the Fireside with his command of Tiki/fun drinks, classic cocktails and knowledge of ingredients. Fish bowls, margaritas, bloody Mary, old fashion and vodka-crans are excellent here! Music videos!!! I am a sucker for music videos and they play a wide range of genres. From classics, Motown, top 40, country and Latino are played. I learn a lot and enjoy placing the faces to the songs. There is a lot of plush seating areas to relax in and a sexy water-fire pit to fall into a mezmorizing gaze. Great for couples and for friends!

If you're looking for your romantic, sexy and fun without the sex... This is the bar for you! Servers are great, atmosphere is great, and you really can't go wrong with the vibe. We have never had a bad experience and we absolutely love it in here.

Been sliding thru here every year and our mans Troy from our city always treats us well. Always a great time and very well made cocktails. Much love from SJ .

My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5
