It was low enough key for us yet still fun, it was packed and we first sat on a corner edge by the fire the only seats open and it was overwhelmingly HOT by the fire even though the ambiance is lovely. We got super lucky when a couple of ladies left before the countdown so we moved to a table. It was still decorated like Christmas inside and it was super cute. We all LOVED our drinks mine was like a boozy (honestly was there even booze in it lol) milkshake and I tried my friends, one was a special holiday drink "sugar plum fairy" which was sweeter and yummy and other friend got a baileys based martini also very yummy. I can't remember exact names but see pics haha. Really made me wanna come back for that milkshake drink sooner than the once a year or every two years I prob make it in here. For the Older crowd.

A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! Others in my group enjoyed working their way through the many light, dark, and sour beers on tap. 1864 offers a classic, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to get a cocktail. The prices are reasonable, too. Definitely worth the visit.

Took a break from checking out other neighborhood shops to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail with friends. Plenty of various comfy seating areas and about six spots at the bar. I tried the Float On, a boozy adult root beer float using local gelato from Bibo. It's a coffee shop, so my friend sipped the 9 to 5, their version of an espresso martini. The Soul Sipper, a beautiful orange colored cocktail was similar to an Aperol Spritzer. Located on the corner of Wells and Vassar, there's a little more street parking available.

I got an old fashioned that was perfectly made and my wife had a Paloma that you could tell was made with fresh juice. The drinks were also reasonably priced for how good they were. If I ever find myself in that part of town I will not hesitate to stop by!

Both are hosted by the husband and wife, duo of Chase and. Kayleigh. I saw the "nocturnal" show, and I loved it. . Chase is the MC, and he also does illusions from slieight of hand, to illusions such as cutting a woman from the audience in half without a box, and a great straitjacket, escape, ala, Harry Houdini. The jokes are fast and furious, and definitely adult oriented, there is a lot of interaction with the audience, and bringing audience members on stage. There's never a dull moment. The dancers are beautiful, and yes, a little provocative, but definitely not dirty. The show never slows down. It's a 90 minute show with a 15 minute intermission, and it's entertaining from the beginning until the end. The price for the show is very reasonable, but they get you with both the cocktails, and the snack bar for the theater. I bought a small thing of popcorn, and a 20 ounce soda, and I was out 16 bucks. That's a bit ridiculous. Other than that, the show was amazing. Thank you for a fantastic evening....

This is my favorite watering hole for a few reasons. First, it happens to be close to where I live…read morebecause second, they drinks are free flowing and I can walk home if I must. Third, I just like playing nickel video poker in a relaxed environment and when it's at the bar, even better. Drinks come faster that way. Speaking of drinks, they have the well stuff for the rookies who just order a rum and coke or gin and tonic. But for those in the know, all you have to do is ask for the good stuff and they will pour it for you, and they do have the good stuff. Full disclosure, they are a whiskey bar first and foremost, so they have more of that than anything else, but just to name a few others, they do have DonQ rum and Don Julio tequila so unless you are a high maintenance drinker, you can find what you are looking for. It is also worth noting that they bill themselves as a craft cocktail bar, which means they can and will make you a very nice mixed drink, speaking of the high maintenance among us. There are pool tables and leagues are a regular thing here as well as a nice little William Hill sportsbook in the corner. It closes early though, so keep that in mind. There are no less than a dozen beers on tap at any given time as well as several bottle and can options. Plenty of TV's above the bar and Direct TV, so they get almost anything you are looking for. The bar slots seem to be pretty loose most of the time and although I rarely play video Keno, I have seen many people cash out hundreds of dollars on a fairly regular basis playing it. Now for the bad...It is a truck stop bar and that in itself is not a bad thing, but sometimes, well...Truckers can be a lot to take in. Also, you will come home smelling like smoke. Otherwise, stop by if you are in the 'hood and take a look for yourself. Good place to pregame. If nothing else, check out the gun collection throughout the casino and bar, it is worth the trip alone.

Rather that earlier in the evening this is a place where some Reno originals come to hang out, and in the later hours you'll find a younger, after hours industry crowd coming in to enjoy their after shifters. I was there earlier in the night, and as I sat down I was greeted by a friendly older gentleman who was happy to share his story along with the history of the bar. He'd started coming here as a near scratch golfer when Masters was apparently the place to be after hitting the links. He shared with me how he'd really like to see it go back to that, but for now it's a quiet bar that's trying to find it's place again. Surprisingly there's a really decent beer selection (mostly bottled), and though I wouldn't expect any craft cocktails, based on the GIANT glasses of wine being poured for the older patron next to me, I'm sure you can count on a stiff drink at this place. This is one of the bars that originated NBT (New Bar Tuesday), and I'm really glad I made the decision to check it out.
