Cheesesteak

Hubby and I finally visited this local gem with our pup Jack - why did we wait so many years? Love the patio! Nicely shaded and cozy. Didn't really notice the road noise but maybe because we expected some being next to Virginia. Super friendly server! Chatted with some regulars and the owner came by and sat with us for quite a while which was extra special. Food was great and large enough portion that we should have shared. Hubby tried the Philly cheese steak and was very impressed! Came with a huge side salad too. Chicken wings were also delicious. Hot was plenty hot but not crazy (not so sure I could do the Nitro).

Waiting for lunch.

Nice little neighborhood bar which serves breakfast and lunch. A full bar with a decent patio with tables in back. It closes at 4:00pm weekdays and can fill up. Mostly high seating except on the patio. Loved the smashed burgers cooked to order. It does have a full bar as well.

DOG FRIENDLY GREAT FOOD GREAT PRICE Burgers were simple fresh and delicious. It was a good sign having a small menu because their food is simple and good. The back patio was so cute, the staff was great 10/10 will come back and im so happy we found this lowkey gem of a place. Best burgers so far I will highly recommend coming here

Irish coffee!! Flavor creamers! Service phenomenal!! Tried the bacon, egg and cheese, with fries. Sandwich bread was over done needed butter or something and fries were good but could have been warmer. Their hours are funky for a bar, they close at 4pm.

French toast, combo and burger, patty, breakfast with over easy eggs and thin, sliced country potatoes.

We had heard from a family friend that this is the best breakfast in Reno and we surprisingly had never been here even though we are native renoites. We decided to try it last Sunday and were blown away with the delicious food & prompt and courteous service on this busy morning. This local gem is across the street from the Peppermill, has a warm and cozy old school environment with brick and wood everywhere in a hexagon shaped quaint building. We were able to get right in, but we've heard that many times there's a good wait. I had the French toast combo with sausage links, and my husband had the burger patty combo with over easy eggs with delicate, thin sliced country potatoes with crispy edges (that I was envious of because I didn't order them) and everything was done to perfection. The Patty and sausage links were very flavorful and everything seemed very fresh. This is not your average chain breakfast spot. They have bar seating with gaming machines as well. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu. We've heard that their Benedicts are also the best in town.

Breakfast Burrito

Came here specifically for breakfast. Ordered the combo omelet, breakfast burrito, and pancakes. All were delicious! Bartender makes a great Bloody Mary and Ramos Fizz. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely will return when in Reno again.

Excellent bacon cheese burger & pot stickers . We arrived about 2pm and were the only patrons. Small local place who's forte is breakfast (service had ended on our visit). Friendly male server (manager?) made the visit fun. Hour's of operation are short (10am to 4 pm most days). Directly across the street from the Peppermill Casino. Video poker machines at the bar Coming back for breakfast.

Beautiful back bar area

This spot has bin on south Virginia st for years now. Decided to stop and see what it was all about. Sure glad we did! The food was delicious, the portions generous. The server was attentive and honest with her answers about the food. This place is so cool looking, with a beautiful back bar and pub style seating all around. The prices were fair , the food really did impress. The took our special request and made it happen. Love when that happens. Made the huevos rancheros way better than we expected

Fish tacos

Stepped away from a conference across the street hoping for something a little more authentic. I found it here at Clary's, and regret I had to leave! Small interior space with a horseshoe shaped bar (and video gaming if that's your thing), prompt and friendly service with some nice local beers on tap. Fish tacos were the special of the day and they were perfect. Look forward to returning some time soon.

Gayle and I had Sunday Brunch here yesterday with our friends Jim and Marti. Clary's is located right across the street from the Peppermill and isn't really obvious unless you know about this place. CONS - None +/- From our outside patio seating perspective, the adjacent road noise was often noticeable. PROS 1. Nice Outdoor Patio with well placed shade umbrellas. Dog friendly! 2. Very friendly, attentive, and interactive wait person (Minerva). Our orders were taken promptly and our selections were out fairly quickly. 3. Good Drinks! I had Lemonade, while Gayle and Marti each had a Bloody Mary, and Jim a glass of Chardonnay. There were also colorful straws and ice water all around. 4. Tasty Food! I went for the Corned Beef Hash (with poached eggs), which was not only delicious, but had the right balance of meet and potatoes. Gayle and Marti split a generous portioned Spicey Chicken Omelet, while Jim wandered over to the Lunch menu with a Clary's Chicken Sandwich (half of which he took home for his next meal). NEXT TIME We'll try inside seating (Bar or Table) for comparison and expand our menu options.

Shrimp cocktail.

Excellent menu variety both breakfasr and lunch. Ice cold brews on tap. Friendly staff. Unique indoor dinning area with outdoor seating availablr. Ordered the Shrip cochtail coupled with a Blue moon and the results were spectacular! Fish & chips were exceptional. Wide selection of hot sauces upon request. Have also had several breakfast itens all prepared precisely as ordered. Trulely a hidden gem located directly across from th Peppermill.

Now that's a burger (the Jackpot burger, I picked pepperjack and ghost pepper cheeses)! Throw in a pound of crispy fried wings, Monday Night Football on the TVs, and you've got yourself a perfect evening! What more can you ask for? The service is another reason I keep coming back. Our server knew exactly what she was doing, and despite how busy the place was, our food came out in about 10 minutes! The bar is usually packed, but I'm always impressed by how well they keep the bar and tables clean and maintained, even with the constant crowd. I've been here at least six times now, and not once have they let me down. Great burgers, crispy wings, attentive service, and a lively sports bar atmosphere. Lucky Beaver continues to deliver, and I'll definitely be back! Open 24/7.

Came across this place on Yelp, saw the great reviews and decided to give it a go. It was a great experience all around. Legends is located in a shopping center next to Whole Foods, Five Below, Harbor Freight; there's plenty of parking and it's easy to find. The restaurant and bar is spacious, they've got tons of tv's showing the different football games. There's video poker at the bar. There's high-tops and booths, plenty of places to sit. Happy Hour is all day Monday, and 3-6pm on all the other days. My husband and I arrived around 5:15 and ordered a round of draft beers (50% off), wings, sliders, and tots. There's Karaoke on Wednesdays so I'm curious about that! perhaps next time! Our server Kristin was friendly and attentive. While she was the only person working the bar and the restaurant during our time, she was efficient and managed well. Food came out promptly and was delicious, the buffalo wings I ordered were hot and crispy, just like I love em, and the loaded tots had melted cheese, sour cream, bacon, super yummy. And yes, the beers were nice and crisp and cold! My son and his gf even joined us as we were wrapping up and ordered a burger and their legendary mac and cheese. Their food came out quick and the portions were big! Overall, I recommend this place for a cold beer, great bar food and a nice place to catch the game. Definitely would come back.

Service was slow and bartender tried to stiff me for an extra $10 on the tab. Ordered two drinks and used my card as I went to pay, she gave me only the credit card receipt with the total of $25. No itemized receipt breaking down the $25. Seemed like a bit much for a beer and rail drink. I Asked for itemized and, lo and behold, the bill dropped to $15. This isn't the first time that this has happened to me. This is a recent practice that many local Reno bartenders are pulling. I'm not too keen. Always ask for an itemized receipt. They definitely ticked me off and lost a star or two for this cheap and classless behavior.

However, I snuck in just before their closing and was able to enjoy a round of drinks with a birthday group. I didn't indulge in food, but many in my party ordered the burger, and everyone loved it. Goodbye, Parlay 6. I wish you luck in your new ventures!

We noted the time, b giving them the benefit of the doubt. Five minutes plus went by with three employees in sight and not a single "hi," menu, or "be right with you." The only person moving with urgency was the server, who finally told us the bartender would be with us shortly. When he finally wandered over, maybe 24, it was "Can I get you anything?" delivered with the enthusiasm of someone realizing mid-sentence that he was, in fact, on the clock. Not rude, just weirdly absent. Apps are $14 to $16, but he pitched the app trio for $24 because you "get almost three times as much." We ordered double wings and cheese curds. It landed as eight wings total, four flats and four drums, plus a tiny portion of curds. For $24. The curds were hard and had that old-oil taste, but acceptable. The burger had good flavor, then got cooked into rubber. The beer was genuinely really good, and Jackie, the 73-year-old local next to us, was the other saving grace. We also came in on a 10-point promo that promised a free item, but were told it "didn't work" and got a card for a free beer next time. We still tipped because everyone has an off day, but this place is a prime hangout space running on low-effort hospitality and premium-ish pricing. It could be great. It just needs to act like it wants customers.
