i've been here w groups of friends. Food from beer to wings to nachos to calamari are great. Entrees from cobb salad , chili to italian food to burgers/sliders. I want to try the kabobs . I tried cioppino & pot. roast. There's also "young sailors " menu Break fast 9-noon Sat& Sun great service & friendly atmosphere read more

We ate at the FTP three times. Each time we were more than disappointed. The first time the food was cold, I thought it must have been because of the place being so busy. So, we returned a week later and the food was not only cold, tasteless and thrown on our plate, I wasn't about to put up with it. I asked for the manager. After a discussion with the manager, not to mention the long wait we left hungry. The manager did not offer us any solution and just walked away. The third time I tried a different location, only because it was close and I had a long day. I ordered a chicken sandwich, how can you get a chicken sandwich wrong? Well they seem to have the right idea how to make a meal taste like dog poop! Never again, Never! read more

I was impressed with this one over at McCarran and Miraloma. Service was great. It was kind of early so we asked them to lower the music and they did so very nicely. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time I went for the bourbon burger. It was really great, but thenI had to ask for a separate plate because the sauce was making the bread soggy. The sauce was actually amazing. I ended up dipping my onion rings in it instead of the ranch. read more

I love the Flowing Tide Pubs: plenty of choices, many big screen TVs. Appetizer Buffalo wings & fries: very good, the fries were excellent. Pretty big for an appetizer. Ordered pan roast, got pot roast. I said, it looks great, but I ordered the pan roast. Laura said, yes, this is it. A bit of a language/accent barrier. She took it back, and I got pan roast later. The pan roast is okay. My standard in the Truckee Meadows is John Ascuaga's (or just the Nugget Casino now). I'm looking for creamy, buttery, and plenty of seafood. 2 of 3 - didn't taste the butter, it was more sweet than savory. The garlic toast was yum. No Coke Zero, it's a Pepsi joint, but only Diet Pepsi and not Pepsi Zero. read more

Flowing tide is always a great choice. Good food good service everyone I've taken here enjoys the meal

Good drinks great service and great food their fish and chips are the bomb and are reasonably priced with a fun atmosphere

This is only an update to my original review. I stopped in a while back when I was in a rush and asked if I could get one piece of fish and a tarter sauce because I didn't have time to eat much. The waitress was AWESOME and got me a piping hot piece of fish, super fast. That's been a few weeks ago and I'm in the same situation today. When I walked in I felt so lucky that the same waitress saw me and asked if I wanted my one piece of fish. I find that astounding that she could possibly remember me. IT IS SOOOO NICE to be remembered. The fish came super fast again and IS DELICIOUS as always My FAVORITE WAITRESS is named EVA! If you get her you are LUCKY!!! Service really matters! read more

Visiting family in Reno, we decided to go out for dinner. Since we're from out of town, we let them pick the place. They said this is one of their favorite spots here in Reno. This restaurant is close to their home & very nice. The interior reminded me of seafaring ships with large rope banisters, port holes, wooden flooring & so on. We found a table right away & our waitress came quickly. Sorry, but I didn't get her name. She was very friendly & quite jovial. A great example for any employee to follow. The menu was quite extensive, offering fare from pasta dishes to pot roast to sandwiches. I went with the cheesesteak with beer battered fries which were delicious. A crispy texture with a soft inner potato flavor. To be honest the fries could've been hotter. The Mrs had their special, a patty melt with tots. A grilled cheese sandwich with a hamburger patty placed in between, covered with cabbage & then grilled with a buttery, crunchy parmesan cheese. Wow! The food was tasty & we truly enjoyed our visit. read more

Came here after dinner for some drinks for a friends bday- inside had a ship theme going with like port holes and wood planks etc - super cute! We got the fishbowl drink to share and an appetizer platter - the alcohol was deceiving kuz it doesn't taste strong, we finished the entire fishbowl! I think the drink was called "shipwrecked" - fitting lol Appetizer platter was huge l! Tons of finger foods! I also love that they have pool and other games for bar-goers. read more

From start to finish, this visit was top-notch. The atmosphere at Flowing Tide Pub strikes that perfect balance between relaxed and refined--the kind of place where you instantly feel at home but still know you're somewhere special. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe carried a welcoming energy that made the evening memorable. Now, let's talk about the Ahi tuna. Absolutely excellent--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was easily the highlight of the menu. If I could make one small wish to perfect the experience, it would be the addition of wasabi alongside the dish. That little touch of heat would elevate an already outstanding plate into something truly remarkable. Special mention to Adrian, who was an absolute pleasure--professional, personable, and genuinely invested in making the visit exceptional. In short: an amazing establishment, great energy, phenomenal food, and stellar service. Just add wasabi, and you've got perfection. read more

Flowing Tide is our go to for happy hour food and drinks! Prices are unbeatable. $7 appetizers and 50% off cocktails and beer! Seriously so good! I wonder why some people have bad things to say about Flowing Tides. They're one of the few restaurants in Reno that are open 24 hours for full on food and fun. My go to is usually the tide turkey sandwich but this time I got it made into a wrap and it was absolutely delicious. We went to the location on Mira loma just off McCarran near Longley and our service was phenomenal. This was for a birthday lunch with coworkers and I had recommended it and everyone in my party was thrilled with their meals, so that was a success. read more

The fish tacos at FTP are some of the best I've ever had! They come 3 to an order with massive pieces of fish and not much else! No need anything else! They're on flour tortillas, which isn't usually my choice, but it works for these. There's a lil bit of cheese & pico. You can get them blackened or fried... plot twist! Ask for both. Blackened AND fried. Bruh. read more

Flowing tide is great for a casual hangout, meeting up with friends or coworkers, or just stopping in for a drink or small bite. 7 days a week HH with beer discounts during games. Half of this is a bar with food and game tops, the other half a non-smoking restaurant. The variety of food (their standard FT menu) is chock full of pub grub to seafood. Friendly service. Always find myself here when I crave a ciopinno, a beer, a game or a massive burger. The WORST SERVICE!!! The bouncer is a rude dick. They made me feel So uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hated the whole 2 hours it took for a med well steak sandwich. Awful. I do not recommend coming here. The food was 2/10. The vibe was weird and the bathroom toilets did not flush. Our server was Sydney M and she was the worst. Moody, rude, bothered to have to serve us. read more

Great, fast service from a friendly lady. Drinks delivered quickly and out food within 15 minutes. We ordered chicken fingers in tide sauce and chicken nachos. Both great. Happy hour drinks are $3.25 for a beer and $4 well drinks. Happy hour foods are $7 each. One of our favorite happy hours in Reno. Will, of course, return. read more

I met with a group of friends for an early dinner. I had a salad with apples, walnuts, and Gorgonzola. It was pretty good! The service was good, too. Great happy hour deals in the early evening and late night. Since this location is non smoking so you never walk out stinking like smoke. First time going to this location and I have to say, this is my favorite location. Super spacious, super clean, nice and new. I love that there's so much space. I feel like the location closest to me is so jammed pack. . I went to happy hour at 10 pm. It was great. We all ordered some drinks, wings, nachos and tacos. Our waitress was so nice. I forgot to catch her name, but thank you!!! This is a great neighborhood bar if you are looking for one. The food at happy hour is great for the price. These covid times are just too darn frustrating. I had a small amount of time to get lunch with my wife, so we called ahead and got ourselves on the "reservation" list. Thankfully they had space! When there all of the precautions were being taken as could be expected. The daily special was some sort of turkey sandwich and a cup of clam chowder. SOLD! When it came out..it was great. Flowing tide is one or two steps up from bar food as you would normally expect it. It's not fancy pants snobby food. Just good food. That is why it's a great choice when nothing really sounds good. You can almost always find something that sounds good there. We didn't get any drinks because I was on lunch. The service was great too...the food came quickly and our tab was handled quick as well. I will be going back whenever the mood strikes me...which should be more often than not. read more

Nicely designed interior and very clean and spacious. Surprisingly expansive menu and some great daily specials. Our waitress was delightful. This location is family friendly although the kids menu is pricey and lackluster (kids were better off just splitting a regular menu item). Great regular pub menu items like burgers and sandwiches with generous servings of crisp fries. Tacos were great for the specials price of 2 for $4. Cauliflower buffalo wings were really delicious, crispy and doused in buffalo sauce with thinly sliced celery and blue cheese crumbles. Very tasty but definitely share as it's not something you can eat a lot of. The only disappointment was the kids menu mac and cheese. It was a large portion, but tasted like generic boxed mac made with margarine, thin and runny for $8. it's a gem, especially if you live nearby or are having a park play date. read more

This place rocks! We love everything and everyone here. Our favorite is Emily! Friday thru Sunday days till 4. She's so funny, her personality kicks ass and she's pretty easy on the eyes. Then there is Kaylyn. Good times when she's on, Monday thur Thursday days till 4. And I gotta give a shout out to Rick and Stacy they come on around 4 and we always have a blast with them! The rest of the crew Megan, Erika, Haleigh, Kayla, Taryn, Nichole, Lisa, and Ashley are awesome! The food is great so shout out to the cooks! Best burgers in sparks (sometimes) it's a pub either ass or really good (most of the time its really good)

I ate here while visiting Reno. It was an average sports bar. They had good variety. There were not a ton of gluten free options but some of their appetizers and entrees were. I wasn't super hungry so I went with the tots. They were decent, typically bar food. I did enjoy watching the games. The service was excellent. We had a very friendly server who did a great job. read more

90% chips 5% chicken 5% shredded cheese(cold & gross) Nacho Supreme $10.99 RIDICULOUS!!! Inedible due to rock hard chips and cold shredded cheese that clumps up. Service and drinks were great, however the food really lacks in flavor for the prices you pay.

FYI - This restaurant is open 24/7, not sure why their business hours aren't posted here on Yelp. They have not one, not two, but THREE happy hours, their food is delicious and portion sizes are generous (the half order of nachos can feed 2-3 people easily). Stopped here as some of my college buddies (Jimmy and Danny) are part owners, and I wanted to show support. There may be a bit of bias in my opinion, but I think not. Emily was my tender and she is off the hook. Not just with how she treated me, but with all patrons. She had a beautiful smile, was very attentive, and almost started busting out some amazing karaoke. I left full and with a bag of swag! Keep it flowing Emily! read more
